Aya extends her good arm to summon her weapon, but decides against it; as she wasn't certain she could fend off a full squad of armored warriors at once in her current state, she instead tightens the arm brace and climbs to her feet. "W-who are you?" she inquires.

The Professor climbed off of Calien and got into a defensive posture. He removed his hood to have a better look at the newcomers. "Dwarves!"

"What do mean we cause this atrocity?" Calien said as he got out his Chain Sickle "What did we cause, we were only caught in a land slide!"

The tall figure raised his sledgehammer and addressed the question. "THIS is who I am. And you seem to not understand the situation you're currently in, human. You are asking questions, when you all will be the ones answering ours very shortly. TAKE THEM INTO CUSTODY. My father will want to have a word with this lot!"

Calien saw that he would not win this match if he fought and decided to surrender and put his hands up.

"Very well....." Calien sighed "We'll agree to your terms, we wish not to cause trouble."

"Please don't hurt them!" Sakura shouted "We'll follow you!"

"Oh, oh, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, dear, dear..." The Professor was flustered as he was nabbed by one of the guards; even a dwarven guard overtook his size by at least a couple inches.

Aya grimaces slightly as one dwarf grabs her roughly by the arm, luckily he's not cruel enough to grab the injured one. She glances toward their leader, curious as to why he was so much taller than the others; although she admits she had never seen a dwarf before.

"W-we meant no harm." She says to their leader.

A guard apprehended Pema and confiscated her staff.

"No! Salem!" She reached for him, although she couldn't do much with the burly guard lifting her up to hold her back. Pema kicked her legs about wildly, "N-No, you can't take him!"

"Pema! Don't worry about me. It's going to be alright. It isn't over until it's over, right? I won't be gone for long, I promise!" Salem yelled back.

Pema calmed down a bit, "Salem... o-okay... it's a promise!"

Sakura was scared for everyone and hoped that these men would listen to reason. Calien in the mean time held his daughter's shoulder to help her calm down, though he couldn't help to be nervous too.

Sakura also held Pema's hand to keep them both calm.

As he limped along, the Professor overcame his anxiety enough to observe the passage. He muttered his observations to himself as he committed them to memory for his notes later. He had only read about the Dwarves of the Jagged Peaks, as he hadn't ventured outside of the town.

Though, there was one thing that perplexed him; the Order barred their entry into the mine passage. Were the dwarves aware of this?

"If, if, if I m-may ask... You, you, you are aware of the... Order's presence at the mountain pass, yes?"

"The Order?" the tall figure responded with vitriol in his voice. "You will not speak of them again in my presence, verminous one! In fact, you will not speak at all until we arrive at the great hall. IS THAT CLEAR?" he spoke aloud with a booming voice that was furious with anger.

"At least someone doesn't like the Order either." Sakura thought and hoped they can use that to their advantage.

"I, I, I d-don't understand... The Order is good, we help the poor... They, they took me in, my master took me in when, when no one else would..." The Professor shook his head and continued to babble about what he believed the Order to be. He didn't understand the hate that outsiders harbored to it, as all he saw were the good things they did.

The tall figure stopped for a moment, raised his hand, and slapped The Professor across the face and into the rocky wall. "You may want to control your party member until we get to the great hall. If he continues his annoying babble, I may give the troll more than just a simple love tap!"

He then began to move forward toward the hall.

"We'll try....the poor Prof has suffered heavily from living with the Order." Calien stated as he picked him up "The poor guy was brainwashed by them, they tourtured him constantly and he's covered in lashes too....a shame too, this man is one of the kindest I know and one of the most brilliant minds I've seen. But the Order....the Order has all but broken him."

Blankly following silently with the others with her hands tied, in a way that avoids her from forming hand signs; from the spiritual realm, Grifter seems annoyed that Toshi did nothing when the conditions were obviously in her favor.

Grifter - "Hey, what gives!?" the grumpy Pidgeot spirit spoke, "How can you possibly concede so easily to these weaklings?" although Toshi can hear him clearly, which the guards could not, she remained silent as Grifter continued to rant on... "And it's raining for crying out loud. You could of easily flood this town in a single jutsu." ...knowing the full extent of her powers in wet weather, she thought not do anything drastic...

Toshi - "These people are my friends..." she suddenly spoke.

Grifter - "Yeah... what!?" he was suddenly shocked at Toshi's response.

Random Guard - "Hey you there! No backtalk, ya hear." He suddenly scolded her, "Just because ye half elven doesn't mean we're on the same side as ye."

(I don't know. I feel like Toshi would know these dwarves, as allies to her elven breathren. And yes it is possible that Toshi, in this kind of weather could of easily annihilated the lot if she did went out of her way to pull out her big guns.)
