((Going to move things along, also with so many healers in the party right now even if they are temporary NPCs I think it'll be best if we either make healing spells either not heal injuries instantly but rather speed up the healing process, or make them highly costly on the user's mana meaning they can't just keep using them rapidly. Open to opinions on that.
Also for the time being guys lets avoid bring in new NPCS? We have a metric ton already and we haven't even made it to Skull Cove yet. Once we finish that area the story will branch out a little for open exploring so that will be a better time to try and push forward personal narratives.))
Once the Professor and Farah tend to the injured party members the group make their way back to Iron Gate, the situation there is as grim as they might have suspected; a great many innocent people were killed in the attack and even more were burned from the flames. It's overall all a mess, the professor and Farah are kept busy well into the next morning tending to the injured and easing the passage of those too far gone. Luckily for the time being people are more focused on saving whats left of the city and helping the injured than trying to place the blame on someone.
The Professor's room at the Inn serves as a resting place for the party, he confirms thats it'll be a good day or two before Aya is in any condition to travel even with magic speeding up the process. The Professor is also able to provide maps of the Jagged Peaks, he mentions that before Skull Cove was taken by the pirates it's mountain paths were used by traders however they have fallen into dis-repair and monsters have essentially taken over. He is confident however that his maps will help them navigate the jagged peaks safely and quickly.
Two days later the group have mostly recovered and the supplies needed for the trip have been gathered. In good time too as the survivors of the church have begun to spread rumors of demons running the streets, it is only a matter of time before the party might find them selves demonized for the whole event.
((Anyone with business the still wanted to attend to make it clear their posts happen before we depart. Also Calien and Farah are heading their own way right?))
