((It's a freezer gel. Freezes on contact. He could only keep it in a goldstone canister because it'd freeze everything else and his whole bag. The concoction was mentioned to Aya back in the alley. I just finally figured out what it should be, aside from something else that goes boom.))

"No! All those people...!" Pema cupped her hands over her mouth, "They... Those are innocent people!!" she screamed at the top of her lungs.

She gritted her teeth and stepped closer to Napalm Master.

"P-PEMA! Stop! Get away from him!" Salem shouted, flying backwards to drag Pema away from the enemy.

"But-" She began to protest.

"I understand how you're feeling, Pema. I really, really do. But, you can't let your emotions get the better of you. Think clearly. Assess your movements in the most logical manner possible," Salem spoke softly.

"... Al-Alright..." Pema exclaimed, though her voice was tinged with anger. A few light fixtures on the building flickered randomly at that moment, stopping as she attempted to calm herself down.

"Your mana..." Salem muttered briefly, then resumed speaking normally, "Okay, Pema, get ready to hit that bastard with another spell. I know you can do it." He reassured her.

Napalm Master gets hit squarely by the Ice Fang attack, and a divebombing axe. The axe was nothing, compared to that Ice Fang... Napalm Master was barely standing on one knee now.

"How could this be-"

His statement was cut short as he felt a sudden chill on his head, and he suddenly found himself encased inside an ice crystal of himself, unable to move.

(EDIT: Yes Sakura, Peam will get in that blow for justice.

"Are you ready, partner?" Salem cried.

Pema nodded, "Yeah! This is for those innocent bystanders," she raised the staff above her head, white energy swirling around the top, "And so no one else has to get hurt!"

Electricity surrounded the swirling ball of energy emanating from the staff, aiming it at Napalm Master, "Let's do this... Together!!"

Pema twirled the staff and fired a huge bolt of lightning at Napalm Master, the intense kickback causing her to be pushed back slightly.

The lightning bolt struck the frozen Napalm Master, and for a moment, it looked as though he could break free. However, a huge explosion soon erupted from the combination of ice, latent fire and lightning, completely destroying Napalm Master in a blaze of glory.

When the smoke and dust settled, a magical circle appeared where Napalm Master was, and there was a floating symbol above it.

Upon closer inspection, the symbol was 火, a Precursor symbol for Fire. If only someone with knowledge of the Precursors knew...

(So what this basically means is that Prof has details on this symbols, and the ritual is to stand in the magical circle and embrace the symbol to learn, in this case, Napalm Bomb.)

The Professor looked up wide-eyed at the symbol. "Yes, yes, yes, that! That, that, that symbol!"

He got to his feet and limped closer to it, all the while digging through his bag for a book. Opening it to a specific page, he double-checked and then turned toward the rest of the group, pointing to his book. "That, that is the symbol for Fire! This, this... I've, I've, I've only read about this! My, my, my m-master, my master had taught me about this. This, this is, this is a m-magic circle..."

He hurriedly thumbed through his book some more. "Now, now, now, the Precursors, the Precursors, they... used these circles to invoke the tetragrammaton, which, which, which would allow them... them... ah it's in here somewhere..."

"Precursors....does that mean our enemy has knowledge of the Precursors as well?" Calien pondered.

"I guess it would make sense if this guy is connected to that White Beard moron who took the Omni-Gem. I can understand why the Queen couldn't prepare for that if that was the case." Sakura sighed.

The Professor finally found the page he was looking for.

"To, to, to learn, to gain the knowledge, one, one m-must stand within the circle... Then, then, then if one is of sufficient... constitution, one m-must embrace the symbol. This, this symbol, this symbol will grant the p-person knowledge on how... on how to... cast this, this... this particular spell."

"Since this one is Fire it looks like only Pema, Fxeni and I can actually learn it." Sakura continued.

(So, when one embraces the symbol, in their minds, a Get Weapon tutorial will play, showing you the name to incite the spell, and how the weapon works. That's pretty much it.

One more thing!
Only one person can learn it. To balance things out.)

(So now we have to decide who gets it.

I also think I need to teach Calien some weapon element spells, like Earth for his Axe. I wonder what others would be good for the Axe and Chain Sickle.)

After a few moments, the Professor's enthusiasm died down and he took a look around him, taking in all the devastation. An entire block was leveled, but his eyes were drawn to the smoldering ruins of the monastery.

His home, his lab, his place of worship were all gone.

Putting his book in his bag and letting his bag slide off of his shoulder and onto the ground, he left it lay as he limped slowly toward the remains of the monastery. The walls were crumbled to dust and the whole of the sanctuary had collapsed inward. The parish and quarters were only barely standing; their interior exposed and the roof of one outlying wing had fallen into it. Smoke rose in columns from the wreckage as scattered monks and friars picked their comrades out of the rubble and tried their best to make sense of it all.

The short monk dropped to his knees on the hardscrabble earth, gaping. His entire livelihood was a smoking pile of broken mortar and stone masonry.

(Oh how I hate it when chores take the fun out of it all.

I think I'll send Toshi to help out Aya's current situation, in the meantime.)

Racing through the outer walls of Iron Gate, Toshi hurried her way to Aya...

Toshi - "I hope the others are doing okay without me." she looked back over her shoulder in mid-run, before increasing her pace."Just please be okay Aya." she got the feeling Aya won't last long if she doesn't make it in time.

(I'll wait on either Aya or Wily to post before Toshi arrives on the scene.)

(Well that was a fun battle and- oh. Screw it, going to arrive late on the scene for Shadow Master, because it wouldn't make sense otherwise.)

As Aya gets flung away, Fxeni makes the judgement call to not leave her alone. As he runs over, he suddenly realizes that fire began to rain down from the sky. He quickly puts up a barrier around himself, and has a hard time keeping it up under the barrage. The sheer force of the attack sends him to one knee. As the smoke clears, he sees the various bodies of civilians around him.

"Dammit..." Fxeni mutters to himself as he gets up as quickly as he can, and continues running to Aya.
