I meant ones that don't exist or have not been announced yet. Besides a MG Beargguy-San, of course.  8D

Looks like the CG suits are here to stay now.

Even the explosions are CG!

Not sure how to feel about that. I guess if they tweak the speeds and such, then it might not be so bad. Some of the stuff I saw in Evolve isn't too encouraging in that aspect, though.

At least the rest isn't CG.

Kotaku did a review of the whole Gundam Unicorn series, which of course includes spoilers for Ep7 (if you have not watched, BEWARE).

Here's the link: http://kotaku.com/gundam-unicorn-is-an-excellent-ending-to-a-story-35-yea-1578844595

It's quite a nice read. Perhaps I should try and UC myself. >.>

Just got around to watching Unicorn in full from start to finish in one go. It was certainly an experience. The moment that got me was this, though:

Gundam Unicorn OST 4 DSC 1 Track 08 8thMob BEGINNING ORCH VER

The moment this started playing, and all the stuff they showed... really impressive.

The Character and Mech Design is giving off some serious Turn-A vibes, looking forward to this.

I realize I'm late to the party on this and all... I just finished Gundam Build Fighters.

It was [tornado fang]ing fantastic, naturally. But you know what the best thing about it was? It reminded me of the EXE Anime. Like, a lot. And that was just great. I didn't think I'd get to enjoy an Anime like the EXE series again (One day... STREAM) but GBF delivered and did it well.

Considering it seems most of the new stuff is geared towards UC these days, I'm glad there will be a sequel soon to sate my Gundam needs. Just can't get into UC. *shrugs*

Also finally finished Gundam SEED Remastered (and doing Destiny now) but I'm sure no one but me cares about that. 8D

I'm ok with SEED, to be honest. Destiny on the other hand...

But yes, looking forward to more Build Fighters.

Yeah. SEED is okay. Destiny is....well, not okay (to put it mildly).

And yeah, Gundam Build Fighters is one of my favorite anime of all time! XD

Oh I know, most people actually have no problem with SEED when you get down to it. The disconnect is my love of Destiny. XD But it's cool, I "get" why people don't like Destiny and that's fine with me.

But yeah... Gundam Build Fighters. Holy crap. So good. So many unanswered questions about Arista and all that, I wanna know more. Fall can't come soon enough. (It was Fall, right?)

My issues with SEED and it's sequels more or less come from the unlikeable characters, the forgettable plot and the unoriginal mech designs; the use of stock footage certainly didn't help my low opinion. Sunrise if you want to reboot the UC then reboot the UC.  >_<

I can understand why people like it though, SEED is the jump on point for a lot of fans much like Wing and G-Gundam but for me I watched them all in order of release (minus Wing,G and the classic series) so getting to SEED after Turn-A was a major disappointment, SEED just seemed so safe and cookie cutter by comparison.

All my opinion of course, if you like SEED more power to you; there's something for all Gundam fans luckily.

This is really what does it for me from Destiny. I don't really mind the mech designs at all and while I'm not overly fond of the story, I can usually get past that if I see some good fights. Pretty much all the fights in Destiny were stock footage. One day, when I have free time, I'm gonna make a vid with a "Firing While Flying Around Each Other" counter and count how many times they do it in Destiny.

BUT like Blue said, to each their own. At least Destiny gave us the song PRIDE and Lunamaria Hawke! XD

My disconnect usually comes from G Gundam, as I absolute hate G Gundam and think it's almost downright unwatchable. Yet, people love that show. Gundam Build Fighters is everything I wanted G Gundam to be.

My disconnect is a few of the spin offs honestly, funny though for me I love G-Gundam for being silly over the top fun but I loathe Gundam Wing for be an example of everything that shouldn't be done in a Gundam series.

Wind started this whole "Un-killable Gundams" trend that really annoys me, there is no sense of danger when the heroes just stand there like a Dragon Ball Z fight tanking hits and then blowing everything up with no effort. What made battles in the UC entries so entertaining was Gundam or not an unlucky hit could end a main character.  For all the [parasitic bomb] AGE gets at least it brought back some tension to it's battles.

Wing also suffered from a very dull cast outside Quatro and Duo; the rest were either bland or just there to draw in possible female fans. I will say I liked Endless Waltz, it lacked many things that annoyed me about Wing.

Also not overly fond of Victory Gundam either, not really sure why either.
