A great actor has died yesterday. Michael Ansara was best known for playing Native Americans,  Klingons, and other characters, most notably, Mr. Freeze, in the DC Animated Universe.

He died of complications from Alzheimer's disease. He was 91

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Rest In Peace.

Unfortunately, I only heard his voice in TAS, but it was such an emotional performance and episode that it always stuck in my head.

That's unfortunate to hear... but it makes sense considering the age. Rest in Peace, Mr Ansara.

Only knew the guy as Mr. Freeze, but man, what a loss. Such a memorable voice.

Perhaps in bad taste, but I am a bit surprised that he's being outlived by Efrem Zimbalist, Jr..
