The new translations look like they have... Unnecessary fluff. I do like Momohime's new informal manner of speaking but Kongiku was a little annoying to read IMO.

The translators of the Wii version cut around the corners too much, which is why the Vita version feels more longer. I'm also guessing Momohime's informal dialogue is coming from Jinkuro possessing her body rather than Momohime speaking for herself in her own body.

I actually haven't played the game yet so I can't really say much. It's on my backlog of games I'll eventually pick up for the Wii  (just after Xenoblade and Last Story) but with the Vita version on the way I might just have to save up for that.
