Actually according to Toriyama, the purpose of introducing power levels was to show that relying on knowing power levels were completely and utterly useless.

That's not what I got out of it at all.

Take Super Buu, for instance. He was the most powerful. The only way they beat him was by removing all the civilians inside him, reverting him to Kid Buu.

The misconception is that Kid Buu is his most powerful form, when it's simply his most unpredictable form. Because he has a much lower power level, Goku was able to take him down; at his normal state, no less.

Dragon Ball Z - Chala Head Chala

Still <3 this so much.
It's nice to hear this for the intro for DBZ Abridged.

Yeah there was nothing wrong with that opening. It's amazing how much they cut from that show when it was aired.

But yeah, the music in the show was pretty awesome. And I loved Escaflowne's design.

So I tried Red Robin today, and I agree with Clef that it's very meh.

The first time I had Red Robin, I got sick.  Like run-madly-to-the-bathroom-and-spend-ten-minutes-in-there-five-minutes-after-eating sick.

Needless to say, I haven't gone to Red Robin since.

Hamburger and Fries were tasteless and the French Onion Soup was terrible.  It was too salty and they used wheat bread, French Onion Soup should have a harder bread like Sour Dough, wheat is too weak.  It didn't even look like they toasted it.

Honestly, few chain food places are that good. One thing my Dad always taught me is that when you travel, ask the hotel workers & such what's a good local place. As soon as they get done with the standard hotel recommendations, ask them where THEY eat, and you'll 9 times out of 10 get some fantastic, out of the way fantastic place.

That's why I like Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives so much

In terms of chains, I love Five Guys.  Though, last time I traveled, I hit up local places within walking distance, such as the Oasis right across the way from the hotel.

Shwarma is delicious.  If you haven't had some already, go find a shwarma place.

Five Guys is pretty awesome. It puts regular fast food places to shame.

And no need to worry about me and Shwarma. I go to the best Shwarma place in the city!  8)

Is it the same shwarma place the Avengers ate at? 8D

Too bad there aren't any shwarma places around here... unless Pakha's sells shwarma... But that's in Dillsburg, and other places that might have it are in York and Camp Hill...

Haha, no. That was apparently in LA.

This is the place I go. King of Falafel and Shwarma. It's just a cart outside of a C-Town in Astoria, but it's sooooooooo good & cheap.

I shall devise a plan to get there...  Some convoluted scheme involving my dad, his girlfriend, and a restaurant review article... But somehow, I need to make it vital that I'm included in these plans...

Never tried Shwarma before. I wanted to try it, ever since Stark pointed it out in The Avengers. XD

I wager it is the similar enough to the gyros I serve at work.

It's pretty similar to gyros and some gyro places might sell it, too.

In case anyone's curious...
<Goodwood> The meeting I went to yesterday was...underwhelming.
<TrakNar> Ah
<TrakNar> How so?
<Goodwood> It felt more like a gathering of enthusiastic college kids than a statewide party meeting.
<Goodwood> Though of course the membership spanned the age spectrum, I think I was the youngest person there.
<TrakNar> Hm.
<Goodwood> And the only one dressed even remotely like a politician or a candidate wannabe.
<Goodwood> The guy who's looking to run for governor for the Greens is a long-haired fellow with a very soft voice, and he kind of slouches.
<Goodwood> I was unimpressed when he went up to speak.
<Goodwood> There's another guy who wants to run for US Senate, too, though he kinda smells like a joint and has this long, thin tattoo on his right forearm.
<Goodwood> God.
<Goodwood> At times I felt like an apex predator in the midst of a herd of opinionated sheep.
<TrakNar> Why did you feel that they were opinionated?
<Goodwood> Because they are.
<TrakNar> How so?
<Goodwood> Doug told me that I was lucky, because "the anti-professionalism wing isn't here."
<Goodwood> Well, all party members are going to be opinionated, but these folks' thoughts tended to differ quite a lot. I had to keep my skeptic hat on for large portions of the meeting.
<Goodwood> Fortunately, I seemed to make a good impression on just about everyone there.
<Goodwood> The nominating convention is in May, but a date hasn't been set yet.
<TrakNar> What kind of things did they talk about that struck you as being opinionated?  Just curious.
<Goodwood> Opinionated. You know. Having an opinion.
<Goodwood> :P
<Goodwood> Stop it.
<TrakNar> Fine then.  You're opinionated, too, as you have an opinion, and so do I and everyone on this planet. :P
<Goodwood> Heh.
<Goodwood> Let me put it to you another way, then.
<Goodwood> I've been to Democratic state party conventions. I've been to many, many local meetings and functions visited by politicians ranging from city leaders to Presidential candidates. I've also observed County Commission meetings and other political proceedings.
<TrakNar> Okay.
<Goodwood> The meeting I went to yesterday, by contrast, was a day at a local high school's Hipster Club.
<Goodwood> That said, I intend to pursue this course.
<TrakNar> So, a bunch of yuppies talking about things of which they have no clue.
<Goodwood> Pretty much.
<Goodwood> Except they do have clues as they relate to their pet issues and little else.
<Goodwood> Doug and I were easily the most rational people there.
<TrakNar> Hm.  Anything interesting happen?  Any interesting comments, issues, anything you could play off of for your speech?
<Goodwood> Not for that purpose, no. I had already prepared my outline and I was able to largely stick to it.
I think he picked up on my trolling back there.  I admit, I do enjoy playing devil's advocate.

There's this awesome sub place within walking distance in my neighborhood. Best Italian subs around, plus some pretty good chicken tenders. Plus, birch beer! How could you beat birch beer?

what

Day four of this cold; still couch bound. I hate being this inactive but it's given me a chance to get some work on Adventure#2 done as well as some sprite work for another project I guess.  :\
