There was a Jessica Shoemaker in my High School and a Precious Forward in one of my College classes.

Shoemaker is a relatively common surname, as it's an Anglicized spelling of Schumacher. I had classes with a Cherish Wormley, but I don't count that name as odd. Not as odd as someone naming their kid Day-Quil.

Overdosing on Day-Quil would cause such naming to happen.
