Back in my day, Cartoon Network was worth it.
And appealed to all ages and demographics with out having to rely on crap you can find on the Internet to find what people like.  I swear it really shifted from that to the main demographic being adolescent boys except for Adventure Time.  Where is the stuff for girls and witty people and following the adventures of a stereotype like Johnny Bravo and Dexter's Lab?

Back in my day, people complained about Cartoon Network.

Because people whined about this same stuff back in freaking 2006.

That was because of the fact that they had a lot of live action shows and wasn't "Cartoon Network".  Now it's because it's full of "crap".

I don't know what Cartoon Network you're referring to, but I'm talking about the golden age of the channel, with shows like Dexter's Lab, Courage, PPG, etc. No one complained about those.

What you're talking about is basically modern CN.

Back in my day, cell phones were only used to talk to people and could break concrete if dropped from a great enough altitude.

Back in my day, you didn't have to worry about what your kids would find online, as it wasn't as easy for them to access and a single search would take longer than their attention span.

My nephew discovered Google Image Search.  He plunks in terms like "world's biggest [fill in the blank]."

Yeah. :|

It depends on what the search is and his age. World's biggest hotdog? Boobs?

How did they get an oven that can make it that big, though the hotdog itself kind of looks uncooked.

Oh those wacky Japanese and their hotudogu.

I have a feeling it tastes terrible though.

Actually looking at the picture closer I notice it's multiple pieces of bread instead of one connected piece of bread, that makes more sense.

Oh there's no denying that, then again I imagine hotdogs are kind of big in japan since, for a time, the champion of I think the international hotdog eating contest was Japanese.

It does, although they train their stomachs to handle that kind of intake, as well as their bodies to discard the "wall" and keep pushing through.

Heh, I kind of find it sickening.

Of course it's sickening.

I remember the way they gagged out some of the hotdogs and stuffed it back in their mouth, in order to keep their hotdog count.
