New Virtual On game comes to 360

Now, I am sorta excited about this bit of gaming news.  The only problem is that the last sequel to my favorite game of all time was.....well it [tornado fang]ing sucked and was 100% unplayable.  Needless to say, I can still hope this is good.  If they release a special pack with Twin Sticks, it's bought instantly!

This is indeed good news.
Wonder if new units will be introduced...

Oh, Sega.

Of all the things you could have/could be doing with the VO property currently, you choose to...port Force. One of two games that pretty much did the most to seal the brand's fate (MARZ being the other).

Now, close to a decade later, you're going to try again with it? This is the very definition of "insanity", here.

Wait, did Force have the same designs as MARZ did?

Yep. In fact, for MARZ to be some sort of dilapidated port job of Force, it didn't even have all of the Force models in the mix.  >3<

Oh wait a moment, NOW I remember this.  I actually had the chance to play it in the Arcades when I went to Japan.  I remember my beloved Fei Yin had the same design as the one in MARZ.

Haha, well then back up to Red Alert status.  I remember not liking it there either.

I actually had the chance to play this in an arcade in Ocean City many moons ago. Even after spending a couple of tokens, I really didn't like the game.

Pitiable, really. I was hoping that once Capcom threw their hat in the ring with Gundam Vs., it would have sparked a new generation of rivalry between Sega and Capcom, where the end result would have met solid games for us, the fans. Not unlike how the rivalries between Capcom and SNK, as well as Sega and Namco served to keep both parties sharp in their respective arenas.

Instead, Sega did more to let the Virtual ON brand die, and post-Sammy merger era Sega seemingly has no interest in allowing Temjin and Fei-Yinn to take the fight back to Capcom. Sad....  ;O;

I have a hard time believing that SEGA can put enough data onto a disc to warrant a physical copy of the game. That being said, [tornado fang] yeah Virtual On!

Talk. Fast.
