Lately I've been playing Robotrek.
It's about a kid that battles with robots. You can equip the robots with parts and they level up. The battles take place in an elongated field of about 6x3 character spaces. It's got a pretty nice story and stuff.

Anybody else play Robotrek?

This is that SNES RPG. Right?

I always wanted to try that. Wonder why I never did.

Oh I recommend Metal Max though. Good game as well.

Yeah part of Enix'/Quintet's Genesis trilogy. The other two games being Illusion of Time/Gaia and Terranigma.

I gave it a try more than few years ago, I found it fairly "meh" to be honest, from what I can remember there wasn't really anything ground breaking about it or at least nothing that left any lasting impressions on me.
