I think it also work with how much profit a game brings to the company. So if the profit that ZXA created was low, even if there's a cliffhanger, Capcom won't give the green light for a sequel. Then again, I absolutely have no idea how much ZXA created...

More than ZX in the US, less than ZX in Japan.

Which one was of more importance to Capcom?

This has got to be why Dr. Evil demanded Yen the last time he held the world ransom...

If that's the case, why not have US exclusive to ZX3 since there's quite the demand for it?

Capcom makes Japan only exclusives every so often, so why not here?

Because they'd still have to make the whole game and there'd be a demand on both sides. I don't think exclusives happen except when it's something completely new that noone overseas is likely to care about (or more importantly, buy).

its a shame to see that ZX sold better than ZXA in Japan... There's a topic about how Rockman Has performed in japan or something like this, you can see it there.

Honestly I say since it took 11 years for us to get Mega Man 9 obviously we'll get Legends 3 in 2 years. So sorry you guys got 9 more years for ZX 3. =P

*gives Nodoka ZEE UPPERCUT!!*

Every game made since X5 could call Legends its sequel.

Seriously.. if capcom doesn't give any news about a ZX3 before 2010 we better forget it for good.  :|

Legends 3 and ZX3 will both come out five years from now on the Nintendo MP (Money Printer).

IT PRINTS MONEY!
...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

I hardly believe any further Legends Title would be for Nintendo.

He's Dead, Jim...

That guy at 0:15 minutes in is actually faking it. And no I'm not a hueg star trek fan, that's from one episode I watched and I just remember it very well.

And Capcom just loves the EXE series more than the classic timeline.

It sells better, and brings in more dough.

I must admitt that ZXA was also REALLY underated, like that epic Final Boss fight.. it's so unheard of, but it was so great!

Why not?  MegaMan's generally been best received on Nintendo's platforms.

How many series failed on Nintendo?  ZX, arguably.

How many series failed elsewhere?  X, MHX, PU, Legends.

Nintendo is oldschool and MegaMan is oldschool.  I don't think it's any stretch that there'd be a correlation in the userbase, especially since at the release of MHX/PU the phrase, "I'd buy those if I had a PSP" was freaking everywhere on the internet.  The sooner Capcom realizes that, the better.

What I meant was that there had been more Legend titles on sony consoles than nintendo consoles  :\

Which is exactly why 8 and X4 were on Nintendo consoles, right?
