Yea, all those "Edge Master", "Weapon Master", you know, those adventurous modes where you collect weapons and unlock new things and artwork. I love it~ Want more!

17 years after SCIV? Interesting, instead of a few months or weeks from the previous entries though I'm curious on to what the characters will look like now that 17 years have passed.

By the way are the Bonus characters not coming back? I wish they do, but give them original fighting styles (the copy and paste thing just doesn't feel right for such unique characters).

Looking forward to seeing what they have up their sleeves.

Thinking about modes that should be in the game (other than Weapon Master of course) I remembered about SC2 Arcade's Conquest mode, and now I really want a new version of it with online. For anyone that doesn't know what that mode is, in SC2 it pretty much went like:

-You create a profile
-You choose a character and a nation (3 options in this case)
-You choose an opposite nation to attack and the profile of someone from that nation and then fight the ghost of 9 other players close to its skill and finally the one you chose. You rank up the same way as in Weapon Master in the console and the game stores your stats (attack, defense, you know, the usual).
-The more you win the more you conquer of the opposite country, so I guess you could say it ends up being some sort of tug of war for territory.

Now imagine if they somehow brought that mode back updated for online play, maybe even without the necessity of using ghosts.

Ah I remember that! Quite fun and I picked Talim with the profile name "AERO" at my College's Arcade of the game which unfortunately gotten taken away to somewhere I don't know many months after joining the College (I think it was about a year or 1.5 years before the school got rid of it). I still had to pay with quarters but it was a fun overall experience with the game and I've improved as a Talim player (though I main Mitsurugi now). Also wasn't there FOUR, not three nations to choose from? 'Cause I remember the colors red, blue, green, and yellow for each nation but I could be wrong.

I do hope they have something like that back with online player! Think of the fun that will be! ^_^

I honestly hope they're going to have at least one new character that dual wields swords with fast pace action and attacks! I love dual-wielding and they got it close with Algol and Shura, but not quite and Cervantes is a dual-wielder it's not the style I'm looking for. Something like Lloyd for the Tales Of series but unique to that character.

Well even if it doesn't happen I'll still get the game! I really wish I could've gotten the chance to play the original Soul Edge video game...

I'm hoping to see at least half or more of the original roster to come back, and if Ivy comes back (I never really was a big fan of hers) they might have to put more "less-revealing" clothes on her.

And I believe that Angol Fear won't be coming back either for obvious reasons if you think about leaving the last 3 Bonus Character as possible return to the series. It was quoted that "Shura won't be coming back" but never said the "Bonus Characters won't be coming back" which hints or possible suggest they would make a comeback... and please give them original styles, I loved them but they need fighting moves to define them.

Also do you think they'll add Dampierre in SCV? I wouldn't mind if he got included, he was such an interesting character!

Quit worrying about guest characters. They're gonna be there. It was in the first bullet point, dude.

I thought Bonus Characters were different from Guest Characters as they're original character contributed to the game by various artists as oppose to guest characters from other video games series like Link.
