This is the MegaMan X5 title screen from the beta.

And this is the beta character select screen which is highlighted on X with his description.

Same as last pic but highlighted on Zero with his description.

A demo version of MegaMan X5 so some mavericks were not complete

In the first fight with sigma there are less clouds and the background is not dark and it doesn't have any lighting.

Same as last pic but this time with X.

There is a lot of differences here. First off the health bar is completely different and the second the background of the city is blury and doesn't have the destroyed bridge and the bottom of the ground is yellow. And third the vehicle enemy is skinnier.

This is X damaged in the intro stage but without his armor.

Nice, a Beta release. Here's a download for the music.

Credits to SuperMega233 for the upload. I used a Youtube to MP3 converter, so the bit rate is 128kbps.

And for those who don't want MP3s converted from a lossy format, here is the AACs from the Yourube Videos.

Hi.

Mega Man Legends 2 (English Debug Prototype) | July 12, 2000 Prototype

And here are some fun screenshots of the proto I took while recording the video. These were all manipulated by the debug's Event Camera function, by the way.

The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (English Debug Proto) | November 5, 1999

Release Article at PRC | DOWNLOAD

I know I'm super late posting this, but an English Debug prototype of The Misadventures of Tron Bonne was released last month.

This, like the Mega Man Legends 2 English proto, is a work-in-progress North American localization build of Tron Bonne with some debugging functions. Protodude shared me this prototype a few weeks prior to its release in April, giving me some time to put together the short video below.

<a href="http://youtu.be/jAp2m0Kp3EI" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win">http://youtu.be/jAp2m0Kp3EI</a>
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (English Debug Proto) | November 5, 1999

Now the content itself isn't anywhere near as exciting as the MML2 prototype -- which is rather peculiar since this debug is dated just five months before the final English version was released in April 2000 and yet even more baffling, nothing major was changed between that time period. Like, they could have released this game a lot sooner than they did but its as if Capcom had no idea when to finally release it (actually, Capcom had little punctuality in sticking to their release dates during this era, especially in the US).

This version does grant the user the ability to access levels through the Level Select, freezing the action during gameplay, and even being able to disable the music as I show in the video. Perhaps hackers will have better luck on this digging out all sorts of stuff than I would have checking things out at first sight.

Enjoy.

Mega Man 64 (PS1 to N64) Prototype Release
« Reply #237 on: February 27, 2016, 01:18:09 AM »
Howdy everyone, it's been awhile since the last major Mega Man proto release. But in case you missed it, another Legends proto surfaced a month ago. An early prototype of Mega Man 64. Mega Man 64, as we all know, is the Nintendo 64 port of Mega Man Legends, originally released on PlayStation. From its petroleum-smeared textures to a stuttering framerate, as well as stripped content and badly compressed sound, MM64 is a mediocre port of great game, with character, personality and technical cleverness. It's what compelled me and several other cool dudes to preserve the prototype.

Click here if the embeded video doesn't play.
(click to show/hide)

The video above exhibits, with annotations, the oddities throughout the proto and the test rooms that lurk underneath the surface of the game's code, all while poking fun of said things. It appears to be at the stage of when it was just being ported to the N64, as all reference to the PlayStation game remain in this proto. I hope you have fun watching and fun playing the proto.

You can DOWNLOAD the prototype here. PixelButts began writing the page at TCRF.

Special thanks to coolmod, BoboMcCloud, PixelButts, Protodude. If I missed other folks, sorry!

Battle Network 2 Debug Prototype Dumped

Would've posted this in News but ya know, can't post topics there lol

Anyways, Rockman Corner got the debug prototype which is identical to the final game except with all the debug tools intact.
OH [parasitic bomb] IM USING LINK AND I ACCIDENTALLY FINAL SMASHED A CUCCO OH GOD HELP
If that counts as a hint then a truck crashing through your wall counts as subtle.
