ZX:AF.
« on: February 26, 2009, 12:24:19 PM »
So, who actually put this together? It was rather impressive for a mock-up. And was quite misleading, until I noticed the AF=April Fool's.

After browsing it, I found that it would have been quite entertaining. With the 4 BioGuardians.

http://www.rockmanpm.com/i/flash/rmzxaf.html

But with that, I have a great idea if anyone wants to create another mock-up.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

The real title is actually Rockman ZX Axess File. A little fun EXE Axess pun. >v<

How is it the real title when the very logo says April Fools in English? It's simply that it has two titles.

Also, Sigehiro had the flash put up again and displayed all the used art.

Well it has:

- no BGM
- Opening Animation Sequence is poor.
- Screenshot is poor.
- no Download/Wallpaper Section
- no links to whatsoever...

So yeah.  It only look's believable at first because it's written in jap.  XD The only saving grace on it is Sigehiro's Artworks. Plus I don't buy the game idea since the Guardian Models are already redundant.

Though in the first place there's no point of exerting to much effort by them. (The ZX:AF is a collaboration work am I right? Not just Sigehiro?).

But don't get me wrong because Sigehiro in my book is <3.

You kidding me? the models as he portrayed them were AWESOME! they had some of the moves that the pseudoroids had!

The only ability/movement that I like is that you can slide, & cling on edges while in human form just like in
Fantastic Children GBA
8D Which I hope Inti will implement in the real ZX Sequel. Human form should be more kick ass!

I liked the approach that was made for the mock-ups. It made them, kind of original. Yet with their foundation intact.

But I do like how Siarnaq is designed... Kinda fits in with just after Albert fits them with BioMetal.

Doubt it. April 1st is one of the bigger Game Hoax times of the year. Though it can be correlated, only some of the time, to actual projects...

Here is the archived page at Sigehiro's site. Clicking the first picture takes you to the Flash site. Aside from what looks like a final boss concept, there isn't much that RPM hasn't gotten a hold of.

It always looked weird, how their helmets were colored differently...

I'm guessing the slightly different designs are meant to convey the idea that those aren't the real Biometals. Their Biometals in AF are replicas (hence "RH", "RF", etc). I thought it was a fun twist.

On a side note, here is a little sketch of the small4 drawn by Sigehiro a little while ago.

I am looking forward to this April First, not only does someone I know whom I work with, the reckoning is at hand.  [eyebrow]

Plus, I will be keeping a close eye on that site, I just can't shake the feeling that it might be updated soon.  Sigehiro should at the least reveal more, if not all of it.
