As usual, the claw took over with the speaking.

"What do you think? In all honesty, what do you think? Would we be anywhere even remotely near this vile place if we - if I - did not have business with the Count himself? And allow me to assure you of this, my boy: you may be a strong fighter, but you would stand no chance with "arresting" us...unless, that is, you enjoy the prospect of having your jaw ripped open and being forcibly choked on your own curdled blood."

As Matt cleared his throat for a response...

"Well, I was trying to refer to how you wound up within the claw and how you met the boy. Even though your attitude says otherwise, I'm guessing you're not using him as a vessel. For a vendetta against a minion of Dracula, perhaps?"

He rubbed his temples before continuing. He has a way to give people the wrong impression.

"Of course, I could be over-analyzing and even you two don't know each other, you could just be partnering up for Dracula's bounty. Anyway, it does not matter...as long as we can work together, that is all that matters. Just one thing, were you going anywhere? If not, I think I can persuade someone to lend me a map. I was thinking along the lines of an Alchemic Lab..." as he spotted the same Persephone who talked to the invisible man, still annoyed by all the commotion shown earlier.

Among other things... , as Matt grinned a perverted smile at the Persephone's maid outfit.
------------------------------------------
As the strange man made his way through the castle, thanks to a special utility belt that followed the illusionary colors the man was putting off, made from mystical enchanter. Along with a belt, it served as nice underwear as well, since even he hasn't grown accustomed being naked for the sake of being invisible. He even keeps his trench coat nice and cozy in the knapsack on the side of the belt, as well.

He sighed, as he slowly made his way around the corner...but suddenly, he heard a voice...no, dozens of voices from a chamber. He immediately took cover and peeked around a corner, spotting a flamboyantly-dressed vampire with knife-like claws who vanished into thin air, amongst others with pale-as-a-ghost skin. He knew where he wasn't supposed to be...but, thanks to his talents, he has been trained in journalism and detective work. Maybe he should take a peek...

Just as he made his way to the open door, though, one vampire stood in his way. He was dressed in Oriental clothing, with reds and greens that weren't made from normal dyes in Europe. Another oddity was that his face was hidden behind a slip of paper, marked with foreign characters. The man recognized them, though...he grumbled to himself...

"He's...Jiang Shi? I've heard about him..."

"Likewise, Samuel the Sleuth," said Jiang Shi, looking beyond the paper, as if he could see Sam himself. Slightly disturbed, Sam asked:

"Wait...you can see me? Normally people just think it's their conscien-"

"If you understand your situation, you are outnumbered...but, if you would like to talk, follow me until I give you a signal." Immediately, he walked away in a slightly fast pace. Since there are only a few that could sense him, Samuel stalked the man for more clues.

"Wow...Never knew I had that much stress built up in me! Whew, now I feel a lot better."

As Matt stretched out to get his muscles cooled down from the spectacle, he noticed the Penetrator's armor on the floor has shrunken immensely. Probably due to not holding so much spiritual energy, it cooled down enough to harden and strengthen itself? Matt wondered, but seeing as his motto's 'Waste not, want not', he started to slip himself into the armor. The armor adjusted to the shape of his body as he put more of it on, loosening up on his body until it was a comfortable second skin. However, Matt was still concerned if he needed a weapon as large as the Penetrating Sword with him, since he had no room on himself to keep something that long. However, once he closely examined the blade, the sword was already shortening to a smaller, more portable stump. Matt attached the sword to the niche in his armor, on his back.

"Anyway, my name is Matthias Wyvern. I did not have a good chance to introduce myself, because...you know...that dastard. So, I think I jumped the gun when I said I would like to arrest you. Let me start over...what brought you here?"

As Matt laid cold and motionless, stunned from the force from the Penetrator, the giant knight strolled next to his body to have one more good look at his opponent, sizing up his potential worth.

The Axe Armor watched silently at the sight of this metal monstrosity. Somehow, he felt that it was his personal responsibility of himself, who wanted to throw the axe in the first place, for the downed child. However, how else could he stand up to a superior who abused his platoon, yet could not fight him due to fear of combat experience? There were rumors going about the Penetrator as well, how he was undefeated for decades as one of the best knights, for a lost kingdom long ago...

But, there was also another rumor of the only time the Penetrator fell to another warrior. When the kingdom the fallen knight served under was in great peril, one apprentice knight came to challenge him. The knight was very agile, but not strong enough to handle the might of the Penetrator's sword. When the Penetrator came to finish the peasant off, only the help from a fellow experienced knight, whom the apprentice freed, helped even the score.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYDCFD8YbfE was pretty much how the fight went down :P
History...was about to repeat itself.

As the Penetrator prepared to strike down the hero, the Axe Armor pulled out its throwing axe strapped to its side. Taking careful aim, the Axe Armor let out a deep breath. Then, he lobbed the axe at the Penetrator, as it connected to the shoulder blades where he held his precious sword, and made a clean cut through the armor and mail. The Penetrator fell, his soul essence flowing out of him in a gassy hiss. He composed himself from the wound, gathered his arm to reattach to himself, and turned slowly, spouting out...

"You...you're the one, who threw the axe...didn't you?"

The Penetrator grinned to himself, as the Axe Armor unattached his Battle Axe, trying to keep his spirit from falling into pieces.
------------------------------------------
Soon after, Matt woke to the sound of a clang. He saw the Axe Knight who threw it, trembling in fear.

"Oh, dung..."

Matt was definitely in a frenzy, wondering how to help. Without any spirits to use, he was useless in combat. Aside from his gear, all he had was a hunting knife. He doubt the Penetrator had any humanity in him, so that was out.

"Gotta find a weapon, gotta find a weapon...wait, what's this?"

He soon spotted a set of iron knuckles sitting atop of a pedestal. Wondering what the gaudiness was for, he took a closer inspection. The knuckles were engraved, "Those who crafted this may have fallen, but the Kaiser who wields this will answer our calling." Immediately, Matt knew exactly what the signifies.

"...Perfect. I always wanted to use that word anyway...such an awesome word!"
------------------------------------------
We return to the two knights out for honor, with the Axe Armor on the ropes. Even though he's not as slow as most people think from his girth, the Penetrator has worn him down. As he dodged the Penetrator's swipe with a roll, he used the niche between the axe and the pole to catch the Penetrator's oncoming attack. The two are locked in a power struggle, when suddenly...

"...Hey."

The Penetrator only flinched for a second.

"Hey!"

The Penetrator, using his free arm to knock aside the Axe Knight, slowly turned...

"Oh, I'm sorry...were thou talking to me, disgrace of a servant? No matter...I will deal with this matter, once and for all!"

As soon as the Penetrator flinched to raise his sword, Matthais released a barrage of fists, fast enough for the eye to be fooled into believing there were hundreds. Even though they appeared random, they targeted every vital spot of movement on the giant, with strength much stronger than even a bodybuilder's hook. Amongst all the sounds of dents being made, this was heard...

"Ora ora ora oraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraoraora...ORAH!!!

From the dust knocked out of the Penetrator, there was one final noise of metal falling to the floor. One man could be heard, taking in the debris with deep breaths. Soon, there was a blue gas coming from the Penetrator's remains, and along with all the dust, they were inhaled by the youth, who seems almost possessed from his new strength.

"Believe me, you don't want to be on my bad side." :P

[Okay, I guess I'll take that as "elaborate more"]

As the Cold-blooded knight charged headfirst into the group, Matt had the feeling he needed to save everybody's skin, just like in his childhood days with his "friends". And so, THIS was his plan he whispered to the lad and Axe Knight:

"Okay, since I'm the only one he wants, I'll distract him while you run for it. We'll meet back here in an hour."

When the Penetrator reached Matt and gave him a lunge with his long sword, Matt dodged at the last second with a...a you-know-what. Matt immediately rose to his feet and exclaimed...

"Come on, I thought you would be quicker than that! At least, that's what your Mother s-"

Suddenly, a spinning back fist made contact with Matthias' cheek, sending him flying through a wall to reveal a secret room.

"Oh, I pity thee...even though that last remark may have been true. She was quite a whore," the Penetrator coldly responded.

The Penetrator made his move to get in closer to Matt, leaving the lad and the Axe Knight alone for more personal prey.

What I mean is, this is a topic that's going to expose personal preferences that are going to offend people. And unless they can handle themselves well enough, they can get banned for it without even a warning if a mod plopped its ass down here. Hell, a person posting can have nothing wrong with them until a troll-heavy topic comes along. And having someone promoting, "Hey, you should try violence! No one gives me a rough time, so come on, I bet they won't with you!" doesn't help much.

Hell, even what I say can (and WILL) be used against me, when I could've been smart and avoided this topic altogether! Although I'm just a peon in a web forum, locking down this topic and/or changing the subject would help greatly, compared to the admin coming down here and banning us all for "vulgar" material. I have a feeling Vixy might...

"Guido (English pronunciation: /ˈɡwiːdoʊ/) is a slang term for a working class or lower class urban  Italian American. The guido stereotype is multi-faceted. Primarily, it is used as a demeaning term for Italian Americans"
Huh.
No one here uses Guido to mean Italian-Americans, just an umbrella term for South Jersey douchebags.
BAM! The point is, you have to have a very smart mouth with this, and even the smart can sound stupid.

@The Goshdarn Flash - If you've kept this personal so only friends that can understand you can see, I wouldn't have had a problem. But since you've been bringing this up, I'll share something myself: I believe people sometimes do crazy [parasitic bomb] not for fun, but because there's something getting in the way of their normal life. Of course, that's the first time, if they make it a habit, THEN wave the flag and get some help for the sap. "Don't act before you think...THINK!"

"You're out of order! The whole court is out of order! The candy machine outside is out of order!! ;O; "

Seriously, I'm wondering why this topic isn't locked yet. Since this isn't about the art of fighting and more about who would do dirty payback (which is the point of what martial arts masters do NOT want), I have a feeling this is going to be a troll meeting place. If I didn't get any satisfaction from joining a trolling session at a dirty dating site- *ahem* a CHATROOM, what makes you think doing a shitload of dirty pranks would? This is Real Life, not "American Pie" or "Van Wilder"! If you've got issues with the world, at least make it legal and join the military. It beats being thrown in jail until your third strike has gone by. Just think about it, people always have something to do, so why would it need to involve something that could evolve into destroying something precious? All people need to know humility, but having a topic like this is just too much. Just look at Perfect Hamartia!

@The Goshdarn Flash: Things must be really rural in your area to go out on crusades every so often. Hopefully you haven't let all the comic books you've read go to your head. But then again, it's Europe, the land of the rowdy!

"I agree...but what's going to be your payment? Because, to be frank -even if I had the strength and focus on me- I don't like your attitude. :P "

Matt's face turned more stern at his debater.

"But seriously, unless you want to end up in the afterlife, we WILL need a body. And once we're done here, the Order would like a talk about how you wound up inside of a claw. I sense it wasn't just by mistake-"

Just as those words were spoken, the Penetrator barged into the room and spotted the three. "Well, looks like my timing was impeccable," the fallen knight thought. "Wait...why is that knight lazing about? Was it going to...help these pests? Hold on...it might have heard what has happened with that one, blinding me with only one axe! I get it...they're going to incite rebellion! Nay, I say!"

The Penetrator pulled out his long sword and, spotting the other Axe Knights, destroyed their stands effortlessly with much grace.

"If thy were going to destroy this blessing my Lord has given me...prepare to pay thy price, dastards!" At that instant, the demon charged headfirst at the trio.

As Matt laughed nervously at the imposing figure, "Well, the souls of the dead are much easier to do, since they aren't attached to other spirits. But, I have been training my talent for some time, so I have experience with the living. But, living beings take up much more energy to tame, unless they agree to my will. I can handle and channel one possessed person, but something like this house to purify? Not a chance. So, that's why I'm just collecting the local..."

He noticed the boy's eyes wandering.

"...Plants and animals for all my friends back in the Order to look at. Of course, I would've liked to understand the big man himself and how he can stand to hate so much, but... *sigh* ...I'm just not strong enough. Well, if there's one thing I know now, it's not that all of the creatures joined in to stir anarchy. I have my friend to thank, for not lobbing my head off for using his soul to get past the front gates, right?"

The steel knight nodded solemnly, analyzing Matt's intents through his words.

"So, in a few words, experience taught me to how to bring a few dead knights and some small animals with me...but putting you two into my gauntlets right now? Not even if I tried!" Matt said as he laughed to himself.

-----------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, at the outer gates, the Penetrator has appeared to wear himself down. From this calm state, he has learned that he can control the pain, since he has no face...only a memory of where it used to be. He pulled the Axe out of his visor, and remembered what his opponent looked like. Then, he remembered from that moment, the opponent was heading towards the castle. Since his opponent didn't seem that wise in battle, he could have just ran down the path until he came across a dead end. Then, where the boy was hit him like a brick.

"Castle...Halls..." the Penetrator stated in a menacing tone, his voice echoing in the courtyard. He stared at his subordinates to signal to stay watch, but they were too awestruck and frightened by his presence to understand. Being amused from this, the knight had an extra step as he made his way into the castle.

------------------------------------------------------

The Persephone greeting the man looked at the paperwork, scanning for forgery, but it seemed genuine. "But why would the master send out invitations?" the Persephone wondered.

Meanwhile, the well-dressed man made sure his makeup was there and reapplied it, to avoid arousing suspicion. He also made sure his contacts were in his eye sockets as well. For some reason, they kept up with the illusion of his surroundings his body made, and only the contacts fool the human senses to notice nothing ordinary was wrong.

The maid handed back the paper, still silent by his physical demeanor.

"Anyway, would you know where the scientific journals are kept? I'd like to look through them once my interview is over."

The maid gave him her own, hoping to get away from the man so she could finish her cleaning duties. The man stepped over to examine the castle's structure. There was a library and an alchemic lab. Of course, he probably wouldn't catch the more recent ones from the library...maybe he'll come after that, and before this castle is wrecked like usual. Sounded like a plan.

Suddenly, the door busted open with a thunderous snap. Then, the Penetrator strolled through the room, admiring the level of respect he had gotten since his acceptance into Dracula's Castle. As the Persephone watched, he remembered the strange man whom she met. He turned over into his direction, to only find him...gone. Only a white powder remained where his shadow was.

The lad beamed when he saw a newcomer, ever optimistic as always.

"Oh, hi there! Nice to meet you! My name's--"

"His name is not important," grumbled the claw sardonically, "More to the point is, who - or what - are you?"
"Oh...you think I'm one of them? Nah..." Matt said chuckling. "I'm with the church, but I'm not a priest. Technically..."

As he spoke, he soon realized the Axe Armor's spirit he absorbed was yearning for freedom, to get outside of his body. Oh well, there was only a matter of time before this would happen, and he couldn't keep them forever...otherwise, a rebellious soul unwilling to cooperate would soon start to scar his soul, weakening him until it affected his strength physically. Matt let a blue steam exit out of his body, and the steam took the form of a nearby hollow armor.

"As you can see...I am a shaman. I can take the soul energy out of any life form, and use it to augment my body from the memory of the spirit. I can also release them from my body as well, and separate dark energy, body form information...even memories."

The released knight rose, and walked towards Matthias. Rather than the knight fight Matt like Matt expected and braced himself for from the time he ran away from the Penetrator...the knight placed its on his shoulder and let out a laugh that was a cross between a chuckle and a grunt, as it attached its new battle axe behind its back.

"And you can probably guess, I'm a pretty good exorcist, too. Hence how I noticed you, Mr. Claw," Matt said amused. "I was sent by the Order to investigate Dracula's Castle, and use my talents to gather as many specimen souls as I can to study what possesses these creatures to come every 100 years, as prophecy states. Using Eastern philosophy along with the West, we might have the key to contain the power that drives these creatures mad, weakening Dracula's strength until the day he can be captured himself. But, the problem I have now is that I've left the container -where I was supposed to store all these souls for examination- back at the front gates. I doubt I could get them back now, but I could make a new container if I knew where to go. So, do you have a map I could use? Or, at the least, tell me where I am?"

As Matt slowed down to a halt from running so far from agile giant, he stopped to notice he wasn't where he expected to be.

"Leave it to me to bolt off without a map..." he grumbled with nervous laugh, when suddenly he came across a wandering youth, similar to his age. Matt immediately made his way to the lost man.

"Say...this might have been a bad idea, but...do you have a map of this place? I think I lost myself here..." Matt said while admiring the tapestry hanging about. "One more question, too...who's your friend?" as Matt sensed a unique soul signature coming from the lad's arm.

[Come in Ninja Maid, Come in Ninja Maid, waiting for acknowledgment, over.]

As the mysterious man made his way through the main castle doors, avoiding the knight in so much agony, he finally reached inside of the castle.

"Wow. Quite a lavish estate the count has, eh?" he muttered to himself, awestruck at the wonderful paintings that probably never saw the light of day at the museum.

While he was taking in the majesty of the castle, a ditzy Persephone was nearby, realizing she procrastinated her duties for an unfair schedule. She made her way in a rush to make everything ship shape, but when she made her way over to the oddly-covered man, she tripped and fell over him. He tumbled down with her, his trench coat ruffled and showed some gaps to the skin...where there should be skin.

"Oh, excuse me mademoiselle. I didn't mean to startle you..." he assured as he arose. Having his hat knocked off, we get a good glimpse of his face. His color of skin seemed white as a ghost, almost powdery, as the shape of his face was bald and stern to give an intimidating look. However, an appreciative and gentle expression puts his physical standing more at ease. Yet, there was an oddity that would scare any mortal. On the right side of the temples of his forehead, there was a patch of his skin that seemed to blend in with the room. It constantly adjusted to the color of the room, to almost seem like he was...translucent.

"Anyway, madam, I wished to inquire about an interview to be hired here," the odd man said, with a vague invitation signed by the owner(s) of Dracula's castle himself.

(If the trench coat wasn't a giveaway sign, the "patch on his skin" is an even bigger giveaway to who he is.)

Ignoring is good, but only when it annoys people the most. When someone does something bad to you, sometimes ignoring it is the worst thing you can do, because it affects you, and the other person thinks he or she can walk all over you. Kick their ass, and they'll be afraid of you.
True, but the thing is right now, I'm not in the city where "anything goes because the cops are busy". I'm in the freaking suburbs, where there's "neighborhood watches" and promoting "a safe community", amongst other BS. We usually don't have police in our schools, because if you've seen the school I'm in, they either have no reason to or they can't live up to their word. All people can get away with is verbal abuse, and if you compare that to online trolling, it's pretty easy to ignore. For example, I used to know this goth kid who'd swipe a candy bar every so often from the lunch line (even though he had a lunch and is supposedly "rich" by knowing celebrities), one stern look in the eyes and a shout to his face was enough to scare him from me, and set his fat ass on its merry way. Didn't even have to slam his head to a desk (even though I would've REALLY want to, even now). Usually, when my mouth is open and fuming, that's enough for people to get off my back, and there's not much reason to hate the people. Unless I wanna pull off a "Dark Knight", and make a personal vendetta to make everyone good to the world's standards.

And the places they choose to fight couldn't be any worse. Last year, 2 kids fought and wound up to the hospital. The scene? The street across from the school, not even half a mile away. It's even visible from the windows in the front of the school! Honestly, they're not even worth fighting for a grudge, or blowing off some steam. Might as well head into "Gotham City", aka. Chicago, Illinois.  8D

Karate tournaments, on the other hand...  8)

Turning the other cheek isn't as fun though. I prefer to fake turning the other cheek, then keep turning rapidly and do a full roundhouse kick. 8D
Do so!
[insert Chuck Norris comeback joke here]
But seriously, I'm starting to think fighting's overrated. Now back when I was a kid, I had a couple anger management issues (the cause, here's a hint: it's what 50% of couples do now), and I wanted to take on everyone I could see. I wanted to cut loose, but I wasn't too smart about it and kept getting somebody to watch me because of my "behavior". Of course, that was a long time ago, nowadays I'm more like, "What's this? It looks like I have the option to... *le gasp* ...IGNORE YOU!! 8D "
But if there's one thing about my childhood I regret (not related to my family), it was those Tae-Kwon-Do lessons back when I was 6. It was a good stress reliever, and practice took some things off my mind. Unfortunately, I did have to quit from money issues, but I tried my best to find some martial arts teachers every so often. If I'd get a job soon, maybe I will...but I know enough to make my own "Krav Maga" style.

(And from time to time, I do roughhouse with my sisters and cousins once in a while. :P )

(@Alice: Sounds like a plan. 8) )

However, Matt's meal came to an abrupt end just as he picked off the last shred of meat from the snake. Something was watching him within the castle walls...Then, a metal shuffle was heard. Was it to the right? Matt Swiveled to his right side, but saw...nothing.

"Maybe to the left...", Matt whispered before hearing a gust roar above his head. Immediately he rolled left to dodge the new assailant as the humanoid stabbed the ground with an elongated rapier...no, it was long, but definitely not a rapier...it was specifically custom-made to be an extremely tall long sword.

As the humanoid rose, Matt found out that there was nothing humanoid about it. Standing with Silver Armor crafted with golden grooves, the helmet which jutted out a long rod hid a penetrating glare underneath. Once the knight regained his balance, he "danced" his way to Matt, weaving around like his movements were once martial arts in origin as he slashed down nearby statues.
(No, seriously, I'm not trying to be erotic, this is an actual boss from another game. Hint: it's for the PS3, the most realistic RP since Elder Scrolls, you die A LOT, and his name is given away within the paragraph. Cookie to anyone who finds it!)
Immediately, before Matt pierced his way to the heavens in the worst way possible, he reached his jabbed hand into the nearest Axe Armor to suck out his soul, gaining throwing axes in the process.

"Just a little closer..." Matt grumbled, as he waited for the knight to come within range. He wasn't so good at throwing, to be honest, but desperate times...

As the knight slowed down to give one last glance at his opponent, Matt immediately lobbed the Axe at his visor, connecting with the open slit to blind the knight. A VERY lucky shot. As the knight threw a fit destroying the statues nearby, Matt saw the opportunity to run into the castle for shelter.

"Would've REALLY liked to finish the bastard...but most of my gear was left behind at the campsite. And why did it have to be THROWING axes...?", Matt thought as he dashed through, unknowingly heading into the castle halls. "OUT OF MY WAY, BEFORE YOU GET A DATE WITH AN EXECUTIONER!" he yelled to the nearby creatures as he sprinted.

Meanwhile, at the castle gates, a stranger with a stylish (trench) coat covering his body snuck through the top of the wall. As he packed up his grappling hook, he spotted the now-blinded knight destroying statues worth thousands in gold.

"What a strange coincidence. I knew the inhabitants were blind in more ways than one, but this seems a bit much...tsk tsk tsk...Dracula would NOT be happy about this," as the stranger grinned while making his way downwards.

(Did they HAVE trench coats from the 1700's-1800s? Probably not! 8D )

(Oh well, guess I'll have to wing it. I guess if it's Kosher, I'll be dropped in with the group like Alice, if not...well, it'll make a nice side story! -u-' )

Meanwhile, during the tale of the former comrades, in the cold wasteland that is the outer castle gates, wandered a spirited youth not afraid to embrace the outdoor environment. Compared to normal villagers, who quiver in the shadows of looming trees, this adventurer seemed...indifferent to nature's call. Garbed in leather hide laced with iron scraps, the lad sat around a campfire.

"Matthias Wyvern, huh? What's so special about someone who's named along with thousands of other gifts?"

As he looked into the fire, he reflected on what was going to come from his mission from the Order, to investigate the "Dracula Phenomenon". Adopted by the order since he was 8, he has been raised as a squire for the higher-ups within the organization. However, he was not there for only carrying spare materials - as a packing mule - but there was a few traits that spread him apart...

"Heh, guess that's enough self-pity. Doesn't do well with stress...time for a snack!"

Within the bushes, a venomous snake crawled by for its own meal, an overgrown rat. Realizing that Matt hadn't packed his knife when leaving the inn, things wouldn't be going well unless had an advantage. However, an Owl suddenly appeared to complete the food chain. Matt raised and squeezed his hand at the Owl, then made a stern face in concentration. Normally, people would think this wanderer would be a little loopy, but within seconds, a ball of gas was sucked out of the owl into the palm of Matt's hand, and soon morphed it into the shape of the Owl's talon. Using his new advantage, Matt pounced on the snake and snapped its head before it could harm the rat. The hand vented out the spirit of the Owl, returning to the animal from whence it came before the owl fled the scene.

"Well, that guy probably had other fish to fry. No doubt, heh, because I pretty much did his job for him! After this snack, guess I'll clean myself up for the big count then. Wouldn't want to keep someone like his snooty butlers waiting," said he with a smirk before setting up a sizzle for the meal.
