I wondered why there were no topics on this, and so I took it upon myself to make one~! I'm basically fangirling over it at every mention / showing of it.

Seems like all of the characters so far are tsunderes, but that's what you get when you take a publisher infamous for them and make a fighting game centered around their works.

So far, the game looks like it may work like MvC or P4A.

THE ZOMBIE MICROSOFT FANBOY INVASION

ONE MONTH INTO THE FUTURE...
Microsoft has failed to sell the Xbone. Nobody even buys anything from them anymore. Xbox loses stock. Their stupid-ass phones lose stock. Even Windows loses stock. They've tried every trick in the book. They've done everything void of ethics and morals. They used unethical business practice after unethical business practice, but nothing has saved their stock.

Nothing... but the Omicros Virus. An experiment made to turn the average human into a Microsoft-loving fanboy. However, the Omicros Virus had... major side effects. After secretly releasing the virus to the masses, those unaffected were being attacked by the affected. The affected and their victims soon became shambling, delusional zombies. Literally. Zombie fanboys. That's right, you thought I wouldn't go there. But Microsoft did. And it's up to a select few immune individuals to escape the hells created by these undead urchins.

So...say I (or somebody) made this game with AAA quality. What would you want to see in it? What ideas do you have for it?

Here's some of mine:

Chief
Wears a powersuit cosplay outfit. He carries a fake Plasma Blade and can charge and skewer survivors.

Jumper
A parkour fanatic who became obsessed with Mirror's Edge 2 when he was hit with the Omicros Virus. He works like the Hunter of L4D, but instead of pinning survivors, he can dash through them and kick them in the crotch or stomach to stun them. He can also cling to walls.

Crafty
Sure does love Minecraft 360. Can shoot arrows from their uLtRa-AwEsOmE battlefailed longbow and "puke" blocks that can encumber (slow down) survivors if they pick them up.

Fan Games / Mega Man VX: Online Co-op, Competitive, User-Generated Content a la SNES X

What is MEGA MAN VX?
MEGA MAN VX is a fangame based on Mega Man X. It aims to recreate the original SNES games' fast-paced action while adding many new features to adjust it to modern gaming.

What are the goals of this project?
When the game is finished, MEGA MAN VX will have the following features:
Run, dash, walljump, and glide on a movement engine focused on recreating Mega Man X and X2 physics as closely as possible to the original!
Go head to head with Mega Man X fans all over the world in exciting multiplayer combat, including gamemodes like Territorial Control, Buster Game, and more!
Fight Mavericks with your friends in co-operative campaigns, either online or locally!
Tools for creating your own custom campaigns for singleplayer or co-op, and even custom battle maps for multiplayer combat!
Turn your enemies into gold statues as a Ride Armor rider with special unlockable cosmetic items!
There could be even more to come!

Will you be including all of my favorite Mega Man X/X2/X3 weapons?
With MEGA MAN VX's palette system, if your favorite Mega Man X/X2/X3 weapon has a palette, it will most likely be in the game! It may, albeit, be balanced with other weapons for fair gameplay, but overall you will see them in the game along with some weapons unique to the game!

When are you releasing this?
Good question. This is an ambitious project that will require lots of playtesters and some people to create beta user-generated content (hereby referred to UGC) to release with the game. If you would like to help out, here is what I need:

• Playtesters who are very experienced with the Mega Man X series of games who can provide proper feedback on gameplay.
• Graphics artists for stage design and sample UGC to ship with the game.
• Music artists who can create music in the similar style of Mega Man X and similar games.
• Level designers and story writers for sample UGC to be shipped with the game.

Wow! This looks cool! Can I test it?
Sure! Just let me know and I can add you to the list of testers. I'll start you out with the current build of the alpha, and when I have something for others to test, I'll send that update. It'll get sparse, though, but I will be uploading devlogs to my YouTube channel, HeadInjuryGames, to make up for it.

Hope I find support in you guys! Tell me, how long have you waited for full competitive/co-op SNES-style Mega Man X?
