Entertainment / Awesome Antagonists Getten Defeated By Lame Protagonists
« on: February 14, 2011, 05:56:40 AM »
It's based on this.

http://www.cracked.com/article_17129_7-badass-cartoon-villains-who-lost-to-retarded-heroes_p2.html

I know every hade this feeling. Any moment in fiction that made you said/thought, "He lost to HIM?!"

Snivy is a good name for my starter.
But what's with the region name change? Every other name was ok, and suddenly Isshu is bad?
Well, Isshu is based on New Youk, so they just give it a Japanese Name, can it?

Also, wow. People complaining about the 5th Gen Starter Names.

Where was the hate for Pochama's dub name?

I got two questions on my mind.

1. What would be the basic steps to qualify a character as a playable fighter... or, at least, a striker?

2. Does anyone else yern for a "Super Smash Bro. Brawl: Champion Edition?"

...offical, I mean.

To a familar theme... (ahem)

•You're unusual, S. Gainax.
•You have baffled the entire Nets
•You're viewers are still questioning
•the end of Panty & Stocking
•S. Gainaaaaaaax!

You have managed to make the Gainax of all Gainax endings your fans have ever meeeeeeet!

So, what did you think?

And one started as a toy company to begin with.

Back in the day, we had no fancy Shark Jumping Season Finale's, and we also had radio shows to boot. (You know, those audio drama tracks Japan gets away with) I miss them.
Happy Days?

Classic and EXE are far more likely than X. I can't use the Inafune defense to shoot down X hopefuls since he's now off doing whatever an Inafune does (sit in his underwear at home and blog while drawing Zero carving up the Capcom logo?) but those two along with Trigger have been more popular Mega Mans in odd ways that don't necessarily related to game sales (Classic charm vs. Kid friendly vs. Holy [parasitic bomb], why did it take this long for Legends 3 to come out?)

X's popularity was mostly killed with the lovely string of titles called X5-X8 (put your personal feelings for the titles aside, you know they all have issues.) MHX tried to rebolster it, but it just didn't give the series that vital resuscitative spark it desperately needed.

But don't despair. X still isn't the absolute bottom rung... the ZX Megas are the worst of them all.
What about Sabaru and War Rock? They have a better chance?

Gaming / A Street Fighter for Every Generation
« on: December 03, 2010, 07:56:50 PM »
I kinda wish Capsule Computers made earlier SF Titles for the DS-DSi. And remade The Original Street Fighter, so it can be more known and actually playable.

But moving on... basically choosing a Street Fighter character(or two) from every generation of the entire series... excluding EX.

1st Generation:Street Fighter I: Fighting Street
Zero Generation:Street Fighter Alpha 1: Warrior's Dreams - Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX
2nd Generation: Street Fighter II: The World Warrior - Super Street Fighter II: Turbo Revival X: The Grand Master Challenge: High Definition Remix
3rd Generation: Street Fighter II: New Generation - Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
4th Generation: Street Fighter IV - SUPER Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition
Final Fight:
Saturday Night Slam Masters:
5th Generation?: Your Thoughts

NOTE: The character has to debut in their respective generation, and Final Fight and Saturday Night Slam Masters/Muscle Bomber shares the same Universe as Street Fighter... as well as Captain Commando(but let's not talk about that).

Episode 9 part 2 sucked.  They need to stop doing serious plots.
What's wrong with the serious plots? They show good character development. It can't all be pure comedy. can it?

I never would have figured it would take more than just simply putting another head on your head.

But seriously, no one knows any good photos of how costuming is shown? Shown right, that is?

Bump just to say that Christina Vee is officially awesome.

Fanmade or not, could this possibly be the dumbest thing she has ever done?

Could Panty & Stocking be the biggest sociopaths in all of Japanese Fiction? I think Revy from Black Lagoon would be a bit shock at what just happened. A BIT.

I guess this show is mostly based on the mature cartoons on Comedy Central and Adult Swim. The ren & Stimpy Show and Invader Zim on Nickelodeon would have probably be better because let's face it. We adult human beings are evil, dickish, and enjoy laughung at other's pain. You know it's true.

Other than the High Octane Nightmare Fuel, I probably could think of another reason why most fans would have distaste in these forms of costuming.

It sometimes degrades/berates the character fans like.

Sorry. The parson in the monkey mask distracted me.

Buy anyway, if this is true, then Capsule Computers has finally gotten a clue that Zangeif was overrated and overused. And who is the best representive of Final Fight?

...eh, he'll probably just be a cameo, anyway.

I still like Kigurumi...

I don't care what anyone thinks, I find this fascinating...
Heh. Animegaos(the real term) can also be describe as "Living Dolls"

...though, those pictures might be pushing it.

Am I the only one who wants to see Ken Masters back in a crossover again?  They started this trend in Capcom Fighting Evolution and he hasn't been in one since.  Shoot, they could even pull a MvC1 and have a multi-formed Ryu.
In this case, they don't want clones. ONE full Shotoclone is enough, and Ken Masters suffers the same problem as Luigi Mario. Gameplay Differences, aside.

True, but try telling that to Capcom. The saddest part, is that Hsien-Ko was in the list of characters considered for TvC's US release. :|

On the bright side, UDON gives attention to that franchise, if only through art books...
They also gave attention to Rival schools, which Capsule Computers also neglected.

UDON also bother to license Kodomomuke Manga AND the MegaMan Manga. They care THAT MUCH!

Again, Hit and Miss. Sometimes a concept works, sometimes it doesn't. Gym Partner was an intresting when it was teased becaue of it's concept, but the final product was crap. I thought it was gonna star a monkey in a human school because it was the smartest monkey that escaped from some lab, and has blended in with soceity. Now, what did we get? A kid in an animal school just because of his last name? I'm sorry... what?

Yeah, gotta make sure the concept, works. if it doesn't work, oh well.
Sorry, but that sounds more "been there, done that," that the final premise.

And every episode of Dexter's Lab after "Last But Not Beast" sucked hard.

And seriously, original is dead.

PPG Z was AWESOME.

Really, it looke like a degrade of the the original series. What was so good about it?

Sometimes fursuits should be better off left as Mascots.. *shrugs* >.>
They're not that bad. NOt all fursuiters think nor go "that way."

Some of the suit I' have seen are actually...(dare I say it)...

...cute.

Well I, for one, am glad that Felicia gets to appear in a Capcom crossover fighting game again. It's nice to have more than one Darkstlakers representative, for once. óVó
The problem here is that Capsule Computers kept using the SAME Reps for the series. Many fans are getting tired of seeing the Succubus and Cat-Monster all the time in crossovers.

SVC: Chaos was a small breath of fresh air when it had the Vampire Protagonist.
