Roleplay / Re: Aloha AOHA! ALPHA OMEGA HOENN ADVENTURE!

(If and when I decide to get involved, I'll probably still use the original Hierophant (still using his birth name, Merrick), and his usual group of Pokemon.  I haven't decided if I'll include Jeff the Magician, or pick another Magical Drop character to bump into Merrick partway through the RP.  I'm also contemplating whether to have the Hierophant card still be attached to WilyII's back, forcing Merrick to either be stuck with the Death card, or go back to using the Magician card, or have escaped at some point and reunited with Merrick)

With Galaide making her way to the medical room, Death decides to push more of boforte's buttons and hovers towards his hearing sensors, popping partway out of the card and cupping her unarmed hand towards the corner of her lips.

"Uwaaaah...I suddenly have the power to speak, and I will use it to taunt and humiliate you in front of your peers....  And there is nothing you can do about it for they will assume I am a figment of your imagination and treat you like a loon...."

Hierophant could only stay in the corner of the room and rub his temple at the inevitable reaction of a rampaging death machine.

(Well...I guess that's one way to slow the Wily Star II's repairs to a crawl...again.... Y'know...since without Wreck-It Man, both Fix-It Man and Paint-It Man die from CPU sharing, but then I'm already ruining Fix-It Man's potential by making him fix the Star at a slower rate than he was supposed to.... '>.> But if I do decide to have Wreck-It Man burrow through the planet, what secrets could he find and potentially destroy down there? 8D)

(Originally, Wreck-It Man was rampaging through St. Acidburg, where I presumed the Wily Star II was orbiting over, but by now, he's most likely at the outskirts, either making his way west to the other parts of the RPM Map, or might just run around in circles in Dry Dry Desert depending on how soon you want to deal with his out of control programming)

(Rampaging around the Wily Star II? o-O)

(The areas below where the Wily Star II is currently orbiting, not inside)

(Also....what the heck happened to Chariot again?)

(Stuck in St. Acidburg, spying on the Resistance while keeping watch of Wreck-It Man, who's still rampaging around wherever the Wily Star II is orbiting.... -_- 8D Haven't decided what to do with them at the moment)

Overhearing Galaide being sent into the medical room, Hierophant cringed, wondering if he should take Death and run, but as he looks to where Death was when they came in, she had already plopped the tip of her card on boforte's chest, watching him continue to rant and rage while trying to break his bandages and swipe at the fake card dangling over his head.

"Hmmm....  I wonder what else we can do while we're here...." she mutters mostly to herself, "Maybe I can try whispering in his ear and see just how more pissed off he can get...."

"How about we leave before that mysterious girl shows up," Hierophant almost hissed close to where boforte might hear them, "If she does see past Vanish, she might try and take control of us!"

"What good will that do?" Death muses, "We're invisible.  Physical attacks won't hurt us as long as it's not pure magic.  Besides, it's more fun to see how much damage she could cause trying to get at us."

Hierophant muffles another groan as he looks towards the door leading out of the medical room, wondering what might happen once Galaide arrived.

(Scratch that, boforte is still pre-occupied. XD)
Medic Man attended to the call from Dr. Wily II, as boforte continued to be "harassed" by the weird entity with a Sun for a head.

boforte - GODDARNIT YOU [tornado fang]ing CREATURE OF ROBOTIC HELL

(I was kinda referring to Sun's harassment from several pages ago.  She's been gone for who know's how long.... Although.... [eyebrow])

Hierophant stared in minor irritation as a crude drawing of Sun's card form dangles over boforte's head, tied to the crown of his bandages with a very flimsy wire.  He immediately turns a scorning, accusing leer towards Death.

"How long HAVE you been wandering this hall before bumping into me on the stairway...?"

Death turns the back of her card towards Hierophant, covering her sniggering mug with her gloved fingers, "Death is responsible for change.  I was merely honoring my role...."

Hierophant could only let out an inaudible groan as he looks back towards boforte, wondering how best to get that awfully-drawn card out of his face.

Galaide got bored of wandering the empty walkways, with no sign of Hierophant anywhere. She could try her earlier stunt again... But felt that would end things too quickly.

Gal - Come out, come out, wherever you are~

After noticing some slow down for a good while, Hierophant and Death decided to venture back into the scrapyard and into the hallway near the control room where Emperor is still invisibly camping out, taking notes of almost everything WilyII was doing.  But with the old doctor's new companion running around, possibly with the ability to see right through Hierophant's Vanish spell, trying to get there to pull the Emperor out without being spotted was still just as harrowing as when he sent one of his magic-using Robot Masters after them.

The best they can do at this point is to keep wandering about and figure out a least attention-grabbing means of keeping watch of everyone within the deck before their next plan of action plays out.

There appears to be a racket in the medical room; peeking inside, they see that sort-tempered robot Sun had been toying with running his mouth off like some old Matchbox commercial.

"Doesn't that guy ever enjoy a vacation...?" Death sighs.

"I'd rather not question it right now...." Hierophant mutters back, "Let's just keep going before that girl the doctor picked up finds us."

"We're clearly not leaving without Emperor, what's the harm in sticking around and watching the guy scream himself speechless?  Besides, I want to see what happens if that girl does find us in here?  Could be a good distraction to keep her off our backs a while longer."

Hierophant attempts to protest the idea, but Death was already floating into the room by the time he opened his mouth.  Muffling a reluctant groan, he tip-toes in after her, not wanting to make too much noise as Vanish doesn't completely hide their voice, or his footsteps.

(Meh...there isn't much for me to do other than post filler for Hajime's continued repairs on the Wily Star II, and I can't keep relying on that without the possibility of eventually having the whole thing repaired.  Plus, I ran into a bit of Writer's Block for Hierophant and decided to take a bit of a break to work something out)

(So White-Jet... Yes? 8D)

(Clearly I don't have much of a choice at this point :P)

Sensing the two leaving with a seemingly unwitting Berbil dragged along with them, Hierophant reluctantly decides to continue his attempts to evade the soon to be intensified security and hope that modification doesn't also expose the still invisible Emperor card lurking within WilyII's control room.

Now that the two were out of the room, he decides to give Vanish another try, knowing that one of the two magic using Robot Masters weren't going to be around to seek and expose him before the souped up scanners do.  Still clutching Death's card, he holds his scepter towards his miter and concentrates on the spell, causing the orb to glow and send crystal-like entities surrounding them, turning them invisible once again.

After the effects end, they continue through the chamber of the opening he climbed into, winding up in the murky, oily junkyard Chariot previously fell into trying to escape Medic Man.

There was no telling how deep the junkyard had become with the oil practically opaquing the watery surface.  And with his Vanish spell active, the water would only pass through his intangible body, making it virtually impractical to stay afloat or hop along the piles of junk left behind by the chomping cranes dropping down and lifting what they can carry to the main scrapyard below.

He pokes his head out the opening and looks around for any cameras that might be monitoring the area, gearing up to jump back if that young newcomer decides to start working her own magic into their mechanics.

After wiping up the areas Solosis had dropped its ooze around, Merrick looks up towards the flap lingering above him, pondering heading back to the Pokemon Center and checking around to make sure no more telepathic substance was lurking within that could trace the whereabouts of the bag.  Figuring it best just in case the hazemat team were going door by door to let the trainers know the decontamination showers were ready, he jumps towards the flap and grabs the corner, using them to pull himself out of the bag.

Once out completely, he pulls the flaps open further and sticks his head back in, checking around for any further complications or wandering Pokemon belonging to the rest of his homeland that might offend easily.

Synthis sat near the bottom bunk were Jeff laid, munching on another cheeky apple and seemingly growing impatient with the long wait.

Barely overhearing the conversation amidst the loud noise of the cranes carrying their collected scrap piles, Hierophant cringes in thought of whether those upgrades were going to bypass his Vanish spell.

He eventually reaches one of the walls surrounding the plenum chamber, finding several openings big enough for a crane full of scrap to fit through.  Unfortunately, they were far out of reaching distance and he couldn't cast Float without the two threats noticing the flash and fluttering feathers.  He could jump, but if the opening was too far for his length, the fall could make a noise that will alert them to his current position.

Deciding to take his chances, he crouches down as far as he could and springs off the catwalk, barely managing to grab the corner and haul himself inside.

A long hallway stretches several feet before revealing a dripping room at the other end where most of the scrap was being lifted from.

He decides to wait a bit and see if the two will leave first before attempting to cast another Vanish spell and judging for himself, how well the upgraded scanners will work.

Hierophant and Death grimace as the girl's tirade began to affect their respected cards, surrounding them with data-like chains before the young priest grabs his card-only compatriot and huddles against his staff, using his White Magic to heal and ward off the remaining effects of her powers.

He glances down one of the chutes to find the remaining Berbils spazzing out from her enraged powers, then bolt into their crates once she calmed down.

"Well, that's an experience I didn't want to enjoy, hard as it is to believe," Death mutters irritably, "You aren't intending to stick around and continue defending these Berbils after going through that, are you?"

Hierophant's compressed lips tighten as he looks between Death and the now Berbil-less environment below.  He can easily use his Esuna spells to ward off whatever the girl was using to control them, but worries that if he keeps this up, it won't just be the scrapyard that will fall under her wrath.  Much as he wants to make everyone happy by getting rid of an unneeded thorn on their side, he couldn't abandon their current objective that was keeping them separate and understandably disloyal to the person who created their "vessel".

Reluctantly, he goes back to focusing on an easy exit, noting the exposure of the cranes scurrying about and dropping mounds of junk onto the already expanding montains below.  Knowing the junk had to come from somewhere, he attempts to follow after one of the retracting cranes, staying in the dead center of the walkway to keep as much of himself out of the line of sight as possible.

(There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on the origin or functionality of a Berbil, but I would assume that, since they have been living on their own for quite some time, they might be advanced enough to at least maintain awareness of being controlled, and trembling in a vain attempt to get out of Galaide's manipulation.

However, that's not to say someone else isn't going to try and save that Berbil from being "willfully" studied on.... 8D)

Hierophant watched as the strange girl took control of the Berbils, somehow able to see the data-like chains swirling around him before flying into his head.  He can sense the Berbil's confusion as his body began to move on its own, trying desperately to stop himself, but only managing a slight, barely noticeable tremble that that only got a few Berbil's attentions, watching as he strangely volunteered to be dissected.

Although they weren't stupid enough to suspect something was going on, Hierophant didn't want them to create a commotion that would get them all back in their cramped cages and forced through the dissection process.  He quickly pulled his scepter towards his head while keeping the three fingers on his unarmed hand at its side and concentrates until the orb flashed white, then points it at the affected Berbil, causing a triangular barrier to surround him, blowing the data-like chains out of his head and allowing him to flee towards his crate with the few observing Berbils watching and following after him in an attempt to calm him down and remind him of why they were stuck like this.

Hierophant quickly ducks back into the ceiling, hoping he wasn't spotted during the events of the spell being cast.  But just in case a chase ensues, he starts to look around for another opening he can slip through to avoid drawing attention from the girl, who may also have the ability to sense his presence and give it away to the mad doctor.

Hierophant and Death managed to reach the exit of the scrapyard only to almost expose themselves to the distant presence of WilyII and some young girl skipping after him.

Both jumped back into the room and threw their backs against the nearby wall, hoping the two were just passing by.

"He sure is getting a lot of help for someone who doesn't deserve it," Death sighs while rubbing her large, purple hair.

Hierophant muffles a frustrated groan as he looks around for another way out, quickly noticing a hail of junk falling from the ceiling.  Looking up, he sees several openings spewing the same mechanical remains.

Thinking it was the best course of escape, he takes another scan around the room to make sure Junk Man isn't paying attention before looking for the mountain closest to the chutes, which ended up being near the center of the room.  Compressing his lips in concern for being caught, but seeing no other exits to escape through, he quietly made his way towards the mountain and begins to climb it, being careful not to make too much noise as the cluster was unstable and could give out with a single kick.

Once at the top, he reaches up and grabs onto the chute, using his average strength to pull himself inside with Death quickly following after him.

This could be the prime opportunity for him to escape, but he also worries about the well-being of the Berbils.  WilyII usually doesn't come here with strangers unless they have something he could use to easily study and brainwash the remaining bunch.

Hoping he isn't spotted at immediate glance, he pokes his head over the opening of the chute, waiting for the crazed old man and his new friend to wander in and unleash whatever scheme he brought her here for.

"Not much of a talker huh, then again Berbils seem to usually be short on words." Asch stated as he went over slowly to carefully pet his head "Don't worry we'll make sure no harm will come to you."

The Berbil continues to stand in his place, letting Asch pat him on the head.  His Tin-Man toy was spazzing about in his hands, making nothing but rusted-sounding squeaking noises while steam toots from its funnel-made hat.

Asch nodded when he noticed the poor Bearbil "You okay little guy, that must have been scary."

Much like the snarky conversation with Key, the gray Berbil just stares at Asche, clutching his wiggling Tin-Man toy in a neutral manner.  The fixed expression, once again, made it hard to tell if his shaking really was because of what he was put through, or just the reaction of almost being hit by an oncoming van.
