Starring Taichi, now 17, in high-school. So 3 years after the end of 02 (and Revenge of Diaboromon), while obviously before the epilogue.

I mean it's not called Adventure 03 yet but it totally is.

I don't know what I'd be more afraid of; them ignoring 02 entirely, or them actually trying to explain how Yamato went from 'aspiring rock star' to 'astronaut'.

Post by: Mirby on November 09, 2014, 05:41:29 AM: I don't see how they're ignoring 02. I mean yeah there was that epilogue 25 years later, but after rewatching 02 myself there were a few threads left open, such as Daemon and the Dark Ocean that Kari got sucked into a couple times.

And I don't think that the absence of Cody, Yolei, Davis, and Ken there means anything really.

I do hope they follow up with the whole Daemon thing cause he kinda just appeared out of nowhere near the end of 02, was thrown in the Digital Ocean, and then not mentioned again. And Cthulhumon (not his name but he's totally Cthulhu) wasn't really mentioned or followed up on either.

Hopefully they address this in 03.

also I'm amazed at how many people want them to just ignore the second season based solely on the fact that they didn't like the second season. Because that's totally a valid reason to ignore something despite how much importance they've been giving Davis as a leader with all the other goggle heads and Marcus. If they ever planned on ever ignoring the second season he would not have shown up in Hunters nor in the Digimon Adventure game
