The sun was beginning to set in the Kalos region, its rays falling onto the Anistar Sundial in Anistar City. Winston Payne was seated on a bench, and was wiping his forehead with his handkerchief. Ever since his defeat during the Mewtwo trial by the hands of a certain Phoenix Wright... Again... The Prosecution Office decided to send Payne to the Kalos region on an "overseas" attachment. But Payne knew he was sent to Kalos as a form of exile... And to add injury to insult, he was handed one final assignment.
To find a girl named Trak.
The client remained anonymous, but seemed intended on finding this girl. Some research into this girl brought up an old man's will, stating that she was entitled to his entire estate, which included a house, when he passed. And that the old man wanted the girl to explore the world, and wanted her to head to his homeland, the Hoenn region.

The sun had long since set over Anistar City, and Payne had managed to find the house in question. Approaching the door, he slowly knocked.
"A-Anyone home?"
In Anistar City...Payne was initially shocked at the appearance of an Alakazam. Even more so that it spoke. In French. Wiping his forehead with his handkrchief, he adjusted his tie and spoke.
There were a couple of clacks as the door was unlocked and opened, an Alakazam standing there. It cocked its head to one side and asked in the plainest of broken French, "Salut. Puis-je vous aider?"
There was a moment of awkward silence as the Alakazam stared at Payne, awaiting an answer. Finally, it looked over its shoulder and called into the house. "Viens ici, Trak! L'homme est à la porte!"
"Coming, coming!" a young female voice called out from somewhere in the house. After a few moments, a young girl with short dark hair arrived at the door. She looked first to the Alakazam, whom she shooed away from the door, "Thanks, Runaway, I can handle this. Could you go watch the pot on the stove, make sure it doesn't boil over?"
"Oui oui!" The Alakazam gave a sharp nod and disappeared into the house.
The girl, presumably this Trak that Payne was looking for, turned her attention to the new visitor. "Can I help you?"
Trak perked up. "Well... Sudden, but I was planning to check out other regions. I'm originally from Sinnoh, moved here a couple years ago with my mom. Been meaning to travel and see what other Pokemon are out there..." She looked over her shoulder and called into the kitchen. "How's it going in there?"Payne stood up.
"C'est bon!" came Runaway's reply. "Avez-vous faim?"
Trak looked to Payne. "Want some macoroni?"
Sapph sighed and ran into action when someone cried for help. "Damn... And I was hoping there wouldn't be trouble." He grumbled, arriving on the scene in time to see some magic reflecting razor leaves off the professor at a bunch of grass pokemon. "Wait... Since when do people use mirror coat?" Of course, he didn't have to think too hard to remember a particular magic user. "Ah, so he's here too..." Sapph said, smirking as he decided to make himself known. He threw the pokeball he had in his hand. "Jelly! Dragonbreath!"
In a flash of light, a goodra burst from the ball, appearing in front of Professor Birch shortly after the leaves were reflected. The purple slug-dragon took a deep breath and let loose a stream of blue flames at the grass pokemon that followed behind the razor leaves.
Professor Birch tripped and landed flat on his face as the Reflect bounced the Razor Leaves back. As for the Goodra's attack, the azure flames easily fainted the woefully under-leveled Pokemon. Grunts from the more rational organizations like Team Rocket would normally recall their Pokemon and flee, but since this is Team Flora, the grunt rolled up his sleeves and slapped several transparent patches onto his forearms. His eyes turned bloodshot and his veins bulged to the point where it appeared they would pop. He let out a feral roar and charged the gooey dragon.Sapph had emerged from the foliage after the Team Flora pokemon were fainted and was about to say something clever and threatening to try to scare off the grunts. But that's when one of them slapped on some patches and charged. "What the...?" Then Professor Birch piped up about what they were. "Tauros steriods? Seriously!?" He snapped, gritting his teeth. "Then I don't feel guilty about this. "Jelly! Power Whip!"
"What the heck is he thinking?!" the professor exclaimed before he saw the patches and remembered, "Oh, yeah. Steroids derived from Tauros."
"Tch, dammit!" Sapph grunted, rubbing his temples. "I get the feeling this is another one of those 'region is in danger of destruction' things..." He sighed, looking around. "I was hoping to avoid that sort of thing for at least a couple more years..." He turned to Professor Birch. "So, who's the champion of this region? Should probably let them know what's going on before I overstep my bounds as a visitor to here."
Sapph nodded. "Then we should probably tell all of them. 3 champions are better than one for this sort of thing." He said, nodding and finally returning his Goodra. "By the way, who's your daughter?" He asked Birch, completely unaware that the Professor's daughter was, in fact, Sakura.
(He's either forgotten or was never told.)
(I was flying to Rustboro and I like following the routes from above. THAT'S WHY I WAS THERE, IT IS NOT JUST A CHEAP TRICK TO GET ME IN THE AREA)
"He is, is he okay?" Norman asked trying not to be intimidating as he had a habit of doing so.
Joe had gotten hopelessly lost in the Ocean Museum, it was all a ploy by the Luvdiscs. Darn those Luvdiscs!!
Trak and Runaway both jumped back from the tank as the Luvdisc inside scattered. "What was that?"Joe used his right palm to rub against his forehead, as he slowly propped himself up using his left.
"Je ne sais," Runaway shrugged. ≪ I don't know.≫
Trak and Runaway walked around the tank and saw Joe plastered against it. "You okay? They don't like it when you tap on the glass, you may want to be careful..."
Sapph turned to Heirophant when he expressed concern for the dead grunt's pokemon. "Yeah, sounds like a pla-" His attention abruptly snapped to Birch before he could finish what he was saying. "Sakura? Well, I guess I shouldn't be surprised." He said, his voice slipping into a noticeably gravely tone. I'll just be keeping my name to myself and hope she can't read auras... He thought, knowing he looked quite a bit different than he did when last he saw the rest of the group.
"I'm Trak, just came here from Kalos," Trak nodded, and then she indicated the Alakazam, "and this is Runaway.""Kalos ehhh... I'm from Kanto myself... Both start with K..."
"Salut," Runaway gave a quick greeting and returned his attention to the Luvdisc.
"With thanks to the timely intervention of this trainer," Birch replied, "It appears that the woods is crawling with Team Flora grunts.""I didn't really see any of them when I went in." Norman reported "Either they left or they were closer to Rusboro."
The Luvdiscs gawped at Joey, but the look in their beady eyes suggested they were hungry for the flesh of Joe and his high percentile Raticate.
Meanwhile, Mr. Bonding's head poked out from a nearby display. A twisted smirk appeared on his chapped lips.
"Ooooooh, some trainers to bond with."

"Sure," Trak shrugged. "We were going to find a hotel, as the trip was a bit lengthy, but Runaway keeps looking for ways to put that off. I mean, yeah, back in Kalos, there's a guy who hangs out at the hotels, but he's not around here, I don't think.""... Wait. Did your Alakazam just spoke? And... Bonding!?"
Runaway shuddered. "Je n'aime pas Monsieur Bonding..."

"Remy, I need you to take this body to the police in Rustboro." He said, pointing to the dead grunt. The swoobat, Remy, winced a little at the task, but nodded in agreement. "Also, give them this letter to explain what happ..." He trailed off before he finished what he was saying. "Now that I think about it, a letter from a random trainer would make it look like a killer is delivering the body of someone they killed..." He said, turning to Norman and Professor Birch. "Would you two mind signing this to give some credibility?""Ah yes of course, unlike those idiots in Kanto verification is more important." Norman grumbled as he signed the letter.
(So, everyone will be headed to Rustboro? My characters are to be heading there eventually, and we'll drag Joe along.)(Pretty much, I'm going to say Briney is still the cruise captain so we have to go through Rusturf Tunnel. It's faster, but if you disturb the Wismurs it won't be pretty.)

"Yeah I kind of agree with that, Norman was just as confused." Wally nodded.
"I don't understand how those humans thought that they should make a show out of a such a simple matter." Xuangzang shook his head.
"Thanks! Now to figure out what to do with this Key Stone..." Taylor said, thinking before an idea came to her. She gathered a length of durable string and pulled some Light Clay out of her bag, molding it around the Keystone until it was completely encapsulated. She then went outside and had Kovu harden the clay with his flames, and then drilled a hole through the casing to slide the string through. She also carefully scraped off excess clay in the shape of the strange symbol within the stone, leaving that as the only part of the stone visible. She ran back inside and showed Sakura her new necklace. "There, that should do nicely.""Well it's a lot better than the necklace I got to possibly house my stone." Sakura said as she re covered her stone. "I don't even want to think of what those Flora sickos would do if they knew we had these."
"Ah yes of course, unlike those idiots in Kanto verification is more important." "Once you give this letter and the body to the Rustboro police, I'll be in Petalburg City." Sapph instructed. "Sure," Trak nodded, then motioned for Runaway. "Come on, let's go find a place to eat. I have a craving for some breakfast, you?"Joe behind Trak, and finally managed to escape the Ocean Museum. Runaway shook his head, and was more interested with trying to dig through Trak's bag as she walked.
"Didn't sleep much on the trip over, Runaway got seasick, so yeah," Trak shrugged. "We should be heading to Rustboro, but really, I'd like to find a place to just crash." She yawned and switched her bag to her other shoulder, looking at Runaway. "Wait until we get somewhere, then you can search. Try to do it now and I'll just trip over you."
"Fair enough... so what next?""Probably head down to the Pokemon Center then wait for Norman and my Dad. Then tomorrow we have to head to Mr. Britney's house and sail to Slateport city." Sakura replied.
"Long and bit complicated story," Trak shrugged, "but basically I was brought over by a sponsor. Haven't met them, yet, as they're in Rustboro. Brought Runaway because hell if he'll even let me leave him at home with Mom. Last time I did, he bent all the silverware in the house, electronics were on the fritz, and Mom calls me up saying that I have to get to a PC now because he was generally being a pain in the butt.""I see... *spots the familiar red roof of a Pokemon Center* Looks like we found the Center. Not sure about Hotels around here, but at least we can bunk up in a Center."
"That'll work," Trak nodded. "I'm beat, how about you, Runaway?""Hehe... He's very curious for an Alakazam..."
The Alakazam had since moved to Trak's other side and was once again trying to dig through her bag. "Oui."
Trak moved her bag to her other side once more. "Whatever it is that you want can wait until we get to the Center."
"Thanks." Sakura sighed. "Anyway, Wally we're going to leave. Say hi to your parents for me."
"No problem. Just make sure you rest, you really scared me today." Wally nodded.
"I will." Sakura nodded as Xuangzang perched on her shoulder.
"We have a lot to do tomorrow." Xuangzang stated "I wonder how Pyro is doing."
"Probably already drove 10 people insane I imagine." Sakura pondered.
"......Does this guy even need to be saved?" Wally asked nervously.
(Either that, or try to clone him. In either case, I put it in as a joke.)(Okay as long as that isn't taken seriously because I really couldn't.)
(Honestly the drugs thing is starting to veer off into a less happy lighthearted path.)(As long as we don't have creepy pedo perveted sadistic scientists and lobotomized Alakazams/people I'm fine with it. Besides the reason Pyro is insane is because he's immortal and so is Sapph. It can also explain Sapph's Cuckoolander moments.)

"Yeah I wouldn't want to come back to find a Challenger waiting to challenge my gym in my absence." Norman nodded.Sapph nodded and started on his way down the path. "We should probably be on our way instead of talking about it then!"

Back in Slateport, at the Pokemon Center...
Mr. Bonding was in a corner, attempting to lure innocent young trainers. His voice surprisingly high for a male's... almost like a certain King of Popsicles.
"Why hello there, child," he said, "Let's do some bonding."
"You may not look it but you are certainly a workaholic, but I suppose I'm one to talk and it runs in the family." Norman smiled despite himself "Just make sure you see your daughter when you're done. I honestly have never seen her look so panicked, not even when Hoenn was in danger of being flooded."Sapph had to hold back a snicker a little, but he had to tip his hat to Birch's work ethic. Even facing assault and injury, he continued his work, something many people in this world could benefit from learning. At that, he simply continued down to the path to Petalburg City.
Trak, Runaway, and Joe entered the Center. Immediately, Trak headed toward a back changing room, while Runaway started to follow, but was shooed to wait on a bench. The Alakazam was reluctant at first, until Trak handed him her bag, which he started to rifle through as Trak ducked off toward the bathroom.
Mr. Bonding took notice of a certain Alakazam and its trainer and grinned... almost deviously.
"Why excuse me, children," he said, "There's someone I need to bond with..."
He shiftily tiptoed past Runaway while he was searching Trak's through bag and opened the washroom door to enter.

Runaway continued to dig through Trak's bag until he finally found what he was looking for. Pulling out a squeak toy shaped like a Foongus, he entertained himself with it, squeaking it over and over before sitting it on the bench beside him and playing with his spoons. Holding his spoons in one hand, backs facing with his index finger between them, he clacked them in some weird rhythm for a while in some mock performance for his Foongus toy.
Meanwhile, in the bathroom, Trak had finished her business and stepped out of the stall, heading for the sink to wash her hands. She glanced up to fix her hair and saw Mr. Bonding standing behind her. Dammit, and Runaway has my bag!
Sakura, Xuangzang, Mr. Spook and Taylor arrived at the Pokemon Center and immediately saw a familiar face.
"Hierophant is that you?" Sakura blinked.
"This sure is a reunion, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that Lt. PB person and Karen suddenly decided to take a vacation here." Xuangzang quipped.
"Hey how's it going?" Taylor said, greeting Hierophant as well.
"I already know about them," Trak backed toward the door. Times like this, she wished she was psychic, as Runaway would Dazzling Gleam this guy's ass in a heartbeat. But, she could hear spoon-clacking from outside, which told her that the Alakazam was off in his own little world.After Nurse Joy healed his Pokemon, Joe glanced back at where he saw the weird guy, only to see he's no longer there. Walking towards the clearly entertained Alakazam, he thought out loud.

"What in Arceus!? Who are you!? And stay away from that lady!"
Joe took out one of his PokeBalls, and summoned his Raticate.
"Raticate! Double-Edge!"
(Runaway works out, so he's not as weak as most Alakazams. Still has the classic low muscle tone, but at least he doesn't need to rely on his powers to move his body.)(Go go Alakazam? XD)
"Use Dazzling Gleam!" Trak shouted and quickly shielded her eyes.
"Éclat Magique!" Dazzling Gleam! Runaway repeated as a bright flash burst forth from the crossed spoons in an attempt to disorient Mr. Bonding enough to allow Trak to escape.

A blinded Mr. Bonding howled and stumbled for a couple seconds before he tripped into a stall and landed face down in the toilet.

Trak recovered her eyesight and dashed out of the bathroom. Runaway stayed behind to make sure Mr. Bonding was incapacitated, and then left the bathroom. He went straight for Trak's bag and pointed to it. "Trompignon."Joe heard a splash, but he was still blinded. His Raticate on the other hand saw the weird man fall face first into a toilet, seemingly unconscious. Thinking it's over, the Raticate grabbed onto Joe's right sock with its incisors, and gently tugged Joe out into the waiting area.
Trak opened her bag, dug out the squeaky Foongus toy, and handed it to Runaway. "What say we get out of here? Start heading for Rustboro?"
"Oui oui," Runaway hugged his toy, which squeaked.
Trak turned around. "Directly behind you. Just take a couple minutes and your eyesight will come back. At least it'll come back enough that we can get out of here before Mr. Bonding realizes what happened."Joe turned, but was facing a potted plant when he spoke.
Runaway nodded, still hugging his toy. "Oui..."
"I don't even know where Rustboro is, so I can't just pull St. Elmo out and fly us there," Trak shrugged.
"Maybe a different approach is necessary." Sakura thought to herself as she rummaged through her hammer space backpack and pulled out a box.
"You guys must be hungry, you want some? I made them this morning and they're still very fresh." Sakura offered.
Sakura opened the box to reveal some colorful cake like food decorated with frosting and fruit or pieces of chocolate.
Joe turned again, and turned to face another potted plant.
"Ehh... Hang on..."
Joe dug into his shorts pocket, and pulled out a red brick which resembled a Pokedex. He played back the last recorded message.
"Oh... Yea, I'm fine, although you do seem to smell like a plant..."
(I totally forgot Joe wore shorts. Gonna edit the previous post.)
Runaway raised an eyebrow and looked to the Raticate. "Joe va bien se passer, non?" Joe will be okay, right?"Cate cate, Raticate. Rati rat rati cate cate rati. (Yea, he'll be fine... He's a doofus at times, but he's got his heart in the right time. Most of the time.)"
(Is Petalburg between Slateport and Rustboro?)(No it's before Rustboro, but Sakura does have to head there to get to the Rusturf Tunnel to Verdanturf Town then Mauville and then Slateport. Trak has to do the reverse.)
Hierophant nods as he holds the staff towards Exeggutor, not seeming to notice Joy picking up Sapph's Pokeball and heading off to do as requested."Anything weird yet?" Sakura asked as she didn't understand magic like Hierophant did. Auras were one thing, Magic was something that Sakura couldn't make heads or tails on.
"Libra!"
The orb on his scepter white as a scanning cross hair bounced out and drops over him, causing a variety of magically holographic images to float around it, showing stats, known abilities, and strengths and weaknesses. If something foreign was placed in the scanned target, it would most likely come up as a glowing green silhouette.
"Doesn't appear to be anything coming up," Hierophant said as he holds his scepter towards the other Pokemon, each getting the same result, "We should at least have Nurse Joy do a deeper analysis on each of the Pokemon to make sure there isn't anything that the Libra spell couldn't detect.""Good idea." Sakura nodded.
"Huh what?"
Joe suddenly felt his body being lifted up. Raticate took the cue and jumped onto Joe, nuzzling its nose against the Pokeball belt around Joe's waist. It soon found its own Pokeball, and returned inside.
By now, Joe's eyesight had started to recover, and could make out blobs now. Seeing something being offered to him, Joe took it, and slowly tried to find his way towards said Charizard's mouth.
St. Elmo snacked on the Puff eagerly and let out a happy roar. Trak gave the Charizard a chest rub and climbed onto his back, pulling Joe along. "Hold on tight! St. Elmo takes off like a rocket.""Say whaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
With very little warning, St. Elmo flapped his wings and took off, headed for Petalburg.
"I'm gonna go play with Rehev a bit outside," Taylor explained, heading outside to play near a bench. She started to mess around, playing with the Larvitar a bit. He was really enjoying it until Taylor backed up to charge at him and tripped over the foot of someone sitting on the bench.Sapph blinked behind his sunglasses and looked down at Taylor. "Uh... You alright?" He asked, getting up and reaching down to help her up.
"Say whaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
And just like a rocket, Joe is blasted off. Who knew his normal life is going to change again...

Hierophant looks over to where Sakura was staring at, seeming just as perplexed."I don't know dude I don't think an undercover cop would wear a fedora." Sakura said not sure "Though speaking of drawing attention how come you wear that priest outfit when the last thing you want is attention?"
"I think so...but I just assume their one of the undercover cops I keep running into, looking for criminals without others drawing attention towards them."

"I'm not the kind of person to take vengeance on anything, even if it was world shattering," Hierophant, now referring himself as Merrick, admits with another reassuring smile."I can probably send them to Kanto would that work?" Sakura asked.
Nurse Joy soon comes back with the four abandoned Pokemon.
"We've done all the scanning we can, and we haven't uncovered anything that suggests the rest of Team Flora would know and attempt to capture these Pokemon," she said, "Although, considering their obsession with wanting Pokemon that can use powder attacks, I do suggest you relocate them somewhere Team Flora will never know or bother invading to get their hands on more powder-attacking Pokemon."
Trak almost asked about the trial, but remembered seeing it on the news a few years ago.Turning to face Trak...

Joe smiled, and almost teared up. Suddenly, he remembered something and began to search his backpack. After a while, he pulled out a part of shorts, that looked comfy to wear.
"Ehhh... I have been wanting to give his pair of shorts for Runaway... It's comfy to wear."
Trak nodded. "I plan to. Long day and long trip, and we didn't get much sleep the day before. Didn't help matters that ocean was especially choppy. I almost joined Runaway hanging over the deck railing.""Aye, I know that feel. I'll head over and register a room. You just rest there. We'll head to the University after you are all rested up."

Joe slowly raised his hand."Ah so that's your name." Sakura said sheepishly.
"... My name's Joe... ._."
Sapph held his head where she hit him. "Owowowowow! I'm sorry! I was scared, okay?!" He admitted, shivering a bit. "I didn't know if you were going to punch me, stab me, hug me, or not even remember me! Well, that last one you answered for me when you started questioning me, but still! Immortal or not, being punched and stabbed hurts!""Ah right that crazy knight dude, I forgot about him with all the stupid [parasitic bomb] with Team Rocket and the police being incompetent as hell." Virgo was looking back and forth between the two trainers with a puzzled expression. She was clearly debating on if she should get involved.
"As for what I've been doing... Well, the first of those three years is a bit of long story. So I'll just give you the short version." Sapph sighed, straightening up and rubbing his head. "I chased Obsidian down to Orre and finally got him locked away. "However, to make sure he stayed locked up... Let's just say he's occupying 3 separate cells in 2 or 3 different high-security prisons."
"Ah right that crazy knight dude, I forgot about him with all the stupid [parasitic bomb] with Team Rocket and the police being incompetent as hell." Sakura nodded as she thought about the last part and spoke quietly "Uh what did you mean by that last part because it almost sounds like you mutilated him.""Considering he's immortal..." Sapph paused a moment before starting to fumble with switching the fake ID of 'Kay Masterson' with his real one. "By the way, have you met Virgo yet? She's Hero's daughter." He said, abruptly changing the subject towards his absol. "Hero decided he needed a vacation after the trial and sent her with me after she was born."
"Kidnapped," Birch repeated, "By those maniacs? Oh dear.""Yeah he was." Sakura nodded "I wanted to tell you when I got in the forest but well I guess that didn't work out. I don't really think he needs help, he can probably drive the entire organization insane to the point they're vegetables I think with the recent situations I think action has to be taken."
"Looks like Rustboro is the commo destination for the moment! Also you mentioned forest... Are there any wild Linoones there?""Maybe, you'll most like find Zigzagoons more often there. Linoones are kind of rare in the forest." Sakura explained.

Sapph sweatdropped at Clefant's proclamations. "Well... I guess it's a good thing I'm not an Elite 4 member anymore..." He muttered, scratching his head. "Still need a haircut..."(I can give you the Absolite)

"Welp, you've now got a zigzagoon." Sapph said, yawning. It was at that point that he remembered something and turned to Sakura. "By the way." He started, fishing something out of his pocket. "When I finally got Obsidian captured and locked away, this was found in his pockets." He showed her a small, round stone with a symbol on it. The same symbol that was on the 'pendant' on Taylor's neck. "He only laughed when he was questioned about it and said that one of my friends could tell me.""....He seriously had a Keystone with him." Sakura facepalmed.
(And there's how Sapph got his Keystone. He confiscated it from/had it given to him by Obsidian.)
(I forget, was it established that the Tower of Mastery doesn't have the keystone and the Lucarionite? Or can anyone pull a keystone out of their ass now?)(Well, Lyssandre had a Keystone and Gyaradosite, and Diantha had a Keystone and Gardevoirite. So, I assume Keystones can be found in places other than the Tower of Mastery. That, or anyone who proves themselves worthy, regardless of good or evil, can earn it. That being said, I think it was also discussed at one point who was going to have Keystones and get Mega Stones. o3o)

Trak raised an eyebrow, but she and Runaway entered the room and seated themselves, with the Alakazam--being the junk food fiend he was--eagerly partaking in anything sugary. Glancing over her shoulder at the door, Trak wondered aloud. "Wonder why they wanted to see Joe separately..."Soon, the doors opened, and standing at the doorway was an old man, sporting a labcoat, and a strange hairstyle. That looked like Zubat wings.
Dr. Wily II perked at upon seeing Runaway, and immediately rushed over, and marveled at him.
"What a fine specimen... I mean fine Pokemon, and French-speaking even..."

Trak put her hand down, watching Wily approach her Alakazam. "Yeah, he's a bit of an oddity. I raised him from an Abra, and he was speaking French then, too. Prof. Sycamore isn't entirely sure how he learned it, but we think that he might've gotten a hold of someone's translator and memorized it, due to his syntax."
Runaway finished munching on another cookie and finally glanced up at Wily. "...Quoi?" What?
Trak gave Runaway a scratch behind the ear. "He's not top percentile, but in terms of physical strength, he's stronger than most Alakazams. Aren'tcha, Runaway?" She smiled, rubbing his head as Runaway proudly flexed his muscles.
Trak looked at the papers offered, seeing lots of words in the smallest print imaginable. She squinted and held the papers close to her face, trying to read them and cursing her mother's myopia as it must be rubbing off. Even the color of the print blended in with the too-dark watermark and every single element of the page was doing its best to keep it from being read."You have been raised up well."
She handed it to Runaway, hoping his eyes were any better. Alas, Alakazams were not known for having very good vision, and Runaway could only muster a puzzled look.
Trak sighed and glanced up. "Can you tell me what it says. Mom says to never sign anything without reading it, first."

Soon after, Runaway was the first to shake off the effects. He sat up, dazed, and glanced at Trak's unconscious form. He gave her a hug, a kiss, then dug his Foongus toy out of her bag. Giving one last look to Trak, the Alakazam teleported from the room, following his new boss and ready for work.Deep beneath... Rustboro University...
"God I hate long meetings!" Sakura exclaimed as she got out of the Devon Corpation.
"At least Steven is aware of the developments and will look for more information regarding this." Xuangzang noted.
"Yeah thanks god for that, I'm glad we have the entire Devon corporation on our side on this. But will is be enough?" Sakura said as she looked down hesitantly.
"Only time will tell, but we should not worry about that now and find our friends." Xuangzang reassured her.
"Right." Sakura nodded as she saw Synthis coming at her looking nervous "Huh Synthis, is something wrong?"
Dr. Wily II grinned as Runaway followed behind him. It has been compliant so far. They finally reached another lab, filled with multiple tubes of strange glowy green liquid. Flanking the sides of the lab, were multiple Grass and Bug Pokemon, all locked up in cages. There was even a Smeargle amongst them.
Dr. Wily II motioned Runaway towards a workstation in the centre of the lab. Once there...
"Welcome to your new life, Runaway. You will be here... Using your psychic prowess to manipulate the way all the different kinds of powder works. It is true I have Psychic Pokemon of my own... But sadly, they can only manipulate so many minds... But... With the new... Mind Powder, I can easily manipulate cities... Regions... THE WHOLE WORLD!! So get to it, and don't even try to... Run away... For your Trainer's sake. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
"Dr. Wily II kidnapped Runaway, brainwashed you and Trak so you can barely remember, and disappeared." Xuangzang replied. "We suspect he might have ties with Flora."
"He also seems to have given you a Diggersby that you didn't have before, not sure why though." Sakura sniffed morosely "I also knocked out a butler who tried to get in my way."
"Well you didn't before you went in here, trust me we know you didn't." Sakura said seriously."... If you say so. Talk to it then."
"Perhaps Sakura can talk to the Diggersby, maybe we can clear things up." Xuangzang stated "I know it's hard to believe but things are most certainly not what they seem."
Dr. Wily II continued to shadow over Runaway, watching it work its magic.
"Now THAT'S a good Runaway..."
In the shadows of the lab, was a miming Pokemon, his hands in a constant swirling motion, palms exposed. It was a Mr. Mime, being all creepy and using Barrier. Dr. Wily II had used this Mr. Mime to create Barriers around the cages, as double protection.
"I think you all might be overreacting a little bit, although Runaway's disappearance is a concern..." Joe said, and recalled the Diggersby.
Inside the PokeBall, Diggersby smiled as he revealed his real form: A Zoroark. Using Extrasensory, it sent a message, off to Dr. Wily II.
Back at the lab, Dr. Wily II 's Beheeyem shook, and projected a video image. Upon seeing it, Dr. Wily II smiled.
"Ah, it seems your Trainer and her friends are thinking about finding you. I told you I have my methods. One wrong move from you, and I WILL off Trak."
"Joe I'm always suspicious and it always pays off." Sakura shook her head "Trust me the fact that no one here has ever seen that Diggersby is proof enough."
"That man must have done a real number on you." Xuangzang tsk'd "Maybe we need to go to the Devon Corporation to figure this out."
"I know that they were able to get that machine to see dreams working thanks to Dr. Fennel in Unova." Sakura added "Maybe we can find something in the subconscious."
"No one except me..." Joe corrected."You introduced the rest of your Pokemon to us, why would you keep that guy a secret?" Sakura countered. "Plus you gave the nurse 4 Pokeballs when you went into the Center in Petalburg, caught a Zigazagoon in the woods and you haven't used a PC since then and there isn't one in the University that you can use unless you're a student or in emergencies."
"YOU!" Trak snapped at Taylor. "YOU did this?! You made that guy a nutcase and now he's got Runaway and we don't know where he is!""Trak calm down it wasn't Taylor or Steve's fault and it certainly wasn't on purpose!" Sakura snapped back "Will you please let me explain what happened, I didn't want to tell the entire story but in this case I think I have to, even if it causes you to panic even further..."
"Uh...can we not argue here...?" Merrick mutters, "There's a lot of students trying to study and research here....""He's right you know.." A young woman stated as she walked towards the group.
The robed man stood straight as he rubs his chin with his rose-less hand, a slight drop in his eyebrow indicating his concerned sympathy for Trak's situation.
"That does sound bad...." he sighs, "Have you informed the authorities on this mad scientist? Perhaps they've heard of him, judging by my personal venture through this region."
"Yeah, the local Gym Leader knows and everyone went to the Pokemon Center," Trak nodded, "so they'll tell the authorities there. The thing is," she glanced up at the man, "I don't think my Pokemon left this campus. I think he's still around here somewhere. I just don't know where. The whole situation was about doing lab work, so there's probably a private lab around here somewhere! That's probably where Runaway was taken!"
She looked down at the Ball in her hands again. "The thing is, I think everyone is going about this the wrong way. If he's on the campus, we should look on the campus, but they're talking about Unova and whatever else. The longer my Alakazam is gone, the more time that guy has to do something to him."
Trak put the Ball away and pulled out a Master Ball, studying it for a moment. "I mean, it'd be stupid to rush into things, but we're dealing with someone who has the capabilities to knock out my Alakazam and take him. He's not a pushover by any means. The only reason he might not have fought back was because he was coerced or threatened, and not with bodily harm to him. Someone's got him locked up tight somewhere on this campus, and another guy's Swoobat said that there was a 'void' somewhere and that's what we should be looking for!"
Runaway backed up and looked away, not wanting to see what would happen. Blindly altering chemical compounds without a clear formula in mind was just asking for trouble. Though, he supposed that so long the Oddish didn't swell up and explode, then that would be the best he could hope for.The Oddish began to shake violently as if preparing to explode. Instead, that was a huge sneeze. A cute one since it was from an Oddish. After the sneeze, its eyes seemed to take on swirling patterns. Impressed, Dr. Wily II ordered the Oddish to eat its own leaves... To which it did, after some difficulty.
As Wily was distracted enough, the Alakazam continued to back away, reaching behind him for the door.
"It's fine." Sakura said as she keeled down and put a hand on his shoulder "I'm sorry you got brainwashed.""... So what now?" Joe asked.
"... So what now?" Joe asked."Well we have to figure out where Wily is, he has to still be in the University but we need some sort of plan. Something that can prevent Hypnosis and the like." Sakura explained.
"Yes, you did. But did you REALLY think that this is enough? This at most can only control Rustboro's population. I need more... A LOT MORE!! MALAMAR!!"
The tentacles Pokemon screeched, and stood between Runaway and the door.
Both Dr. Wily II and Malamar screamed in pain at the sheer brightness of the attack, with Malamar being dealt super effective damage. Although it was trained to be bulky, it still hurt. A lot.
As Malamar continued to scream, Dr. Wily II commanded it to return, and sent forth Beheeyem instead.
"GAH!! Beheeyem, use Synchronise!!"
Beheeyem's fingers began to flash erratically, and fired a strange wave that damages Psychics.
"I still think that Butler migh-"
"Joe! The old man! He... He didn't make it..."
"Charge Beam? Don't make me laugh! Beheeyem, Light Screen!"
More flashing fingers, and a wall of light appeared.
"Initially, we thought it was blunt force trauma, but when we did a neurology test, we found out that his brain was subjected to immense psychic pressure, which resulted in something similar to blunt force trauma."
"... Wow. I didn't understand any of that."
"In simple terms, his brain was dealt with a Psychic Gulliotine."
"There's no running! Beheeyem, DARK PULSE!!"
Sakura was somewhat relieved that she didn't kill a man, but at the same time she was highly disturbed."... Oh." Joe finds a nearby stool, and sat into it. "Wow... "
"Excuse me I need to go to the bathroom...." Sakura said as she was still pale and walked to the bathroom trying not to spill her breakfast on the floor right there.
".....Okay I seriously didn't need to hear that." Roxanne said just as pale.
"I don't know how to respond to this." Xuangzang muttered as he heard her master lose her breakfast in the bathroom.
Runaway grabbed his head, screamed, and pitched forward, hitting the floor with a thud.Dr. Wily II smirked as he walked over to where Runaway laid, with Beheeyem floating over as well.

Remy drifted over the university, looking in the generic area of the void. "Alright Remy, time to shrink down the void to find Wily and save Runaway." He said, the swoobat nodding. "On the count of three, hold nothing back!" At this, Remy linked up his mind with the rest of the group's to transmit the location. "Ready!"
((I think it might be a good idea to pause this for a moment, since I think Quickie wants to be involved in the raid.
Also, I really need to head to bed soon.))
Dr. Wily II smirked as he walked over to where Runaway laid, with Beheeyem floating over as well.
"Did you really think you can escape? I did say you need to level up... YOU ARE STILL TOO WEAK!!"
Despite the attack being super-effective, Runaway endured the hit to show his best side in battle. However, he was in a bit of a pinch. Feigning defeat, he waited, letting Wily gloat all he wants as the Alakazam focused on gathering his energy.Dr. Wily II walked over to Runaway's head, and stepped on his face.
After Sakura finished her 'business' she and Xuangzang went outside of the Pokemon Center with Trak, Sapph, Merrick and some individual she didn't recognize.Joe rushed out just in time before the group left.
Seeing Sapph prepare to attack the 'void' she released her Jynx, Shiva and Xuangzang was prepared to give any assistance he can.
Sakura also released her Aerodactyl Starscream since he was her fastest member and quite powerful too.
"Starscream I want you to have this." Sakura said as she dug out her bag and gave him the Mega Stone Sycamore gave her that was compatible with him, the Aerodactylite. "I think now is the time we need to use it."
Starscream nodded and took the stone from her, as he knew she needed all the power she could get against Wily.
"I just hope there won't be any psychic explosions that flatten blocks..." Joe sweat dropped.".....Hey wait a minute!" Sakura exclaimed "Hey Mewtwo you wouldn't happen to know how to use Disable or an equivilant do you?"

The Shadow Ball knocked the cage right out from under Runaway, and he fell down into it and a pile of cages and equipment. Pulling himself upright, he peeked over one of the cages. That Mega Gengar looked... weird. But, it was still a Ghost, and Trak taught him well.(Lunch break, now back.)
Digging through his pockets, knowing full well that this would be his final shot before he was cut down, Runaway pulled put his spoons and took aim. "Psyko!" Psychic!

In a pile of broken cages and whatever else, Runaway weakly raised his head and slowly pointed a spoon at Hydreigon, firing off one final shot of Dazzling Gleam. A burst of light emitted from his spoon before he flopped back down, utterly spent.
"Okay Xuangzang another Dragon Claw, Venus keep up the Ice Beam, Shiva use Psychic on the Gengar, Starscream Crunch on the Gengar, Vulcan Shawdow Claw on the Gengar!" Sakura yelled at the top of her lungs.As Dr. Wily II saw the incoming attacks from all fronts, he will not be able to block this time, especially with that annoying Dazzling Gleam. Spotting his prize, the still dazed Oddish, he jumped off Hydreigon just as the Dazzling Gleam hits, fainting it easily. His Mega Gengar also looked to be fainted fom the Dark onslaught. Letting out a large Tsk, he summoned his trump card.
No matter how many attacks he blocked, no matter what he threw at her she will not give up, she will not surrender, Wily was not going to defeat her without a fight.
"Remy, ya still hooked up to anyone?" Sapph asked, the swoobat nodding. "Good, link me to Sakura!" He instructed. The psychic bat nodded again and, with a flash of his eyes, momentarily linked Sapph to Sakura. "Sakura! Can you hear me? I'm leading the police down to where you guys are at, try to not destroy everything that could be used as evidence!"Sakura got the message just as her Pokemon were attacking.
Merrick quickly notices WilyII call back a seemingly out cold Oddish and turns his scepter towards him.
"Miracle Beam!"
The orb glows again, causing everything caught in its reflection to spark with white electricity.
Everyone was hit but they were still standing, whether it was will power or defenses they weren't sure.Dr. Wily II screamed as his whole body crackled with electricity. Barely standing, he managed to pocket the Oddish, and then turned to face the source.
"DID YOU FORGET I'M A BUG ZAPPER IN POKEMON FORM?!" Xuangzang roared and charged another Fusion Bolt at the new threat.
"DID YOU FORGET HOW MANY LEGENDARY POKEMON I FOUGHT WILY?!" Sakura yelled as Starscream used Dragon Claw while significantly damaged, Shiva and Venus used Ice Beam, thought Shiva was barely standing due to the Super Effective hit, Vulcan decided to use a Blaze Kick despite knowing it'll probably be his last attack.
Sakura got the message just as her Pokemon were attacking.
"KIND OF HARD WHEN THERE'S A [tornado fang]ing YVENTAL IN THERE!" Sakura talked mentally.
(So, should the way down just be an inconspicuous staircase, or a hidden wall panel/moveable lockers like how I started building it up as without thinking? >3>)(Go hidden panel. Though don't bother, you will miss the party. 8D)

Sapph had found the secret way down and was leading the police. "Talking to yourself in 3rd person again, Sakura?" He teased, Remy still linking them. "Had me worried when you mentioned Yvetal, but I guess you guys took care of it already, right?" He asked, slowing down a little. "What's happening now?""The Disable...didn't work." Sakura panted.
"The Disable...didn't work." Sakura panted."Wait, it was used already?" Sapph asked, having not felt it. "Maybe it just wasn't strong enough. BAH! Whatever, we're here and ready to jump in, just give the word."

By now, the police were starting to think that Sapph was just talking to himself.

Trak blinked. "I've never seen you before in my life!" Snorting, she looked to the conference room doors. "When can I see my Alakazam? If you need to question him, he speaks French. You'll need an interpreter."
"If you don't need my help, I could go back and keep Runaway company," Mewtwo suggested helpfully. "Just, uh... there's not a metal detector I have to go through, is there? Yeah, I'll set it right off, just letting you know now."
"Sorry I didn't recognize you there, I'm kind of tired, fighting a Yveltal does that to you." Sakura sighed "But I would have thought your cousin would have told you."Nurse Joy turned to answer.
"So Looker is here?" Xuangzang piped up.
"Bought time he showed up, he always shows up when you need him." Sakura said getting up slowly "Let's go see him, I kind of missed the weird dude."
"Don't worry about it, Twoey. Just because there's two Mewtwos doesn't mean you're damaging the other's reputation. Trust me, that one has more than his rep to worry about..." Taylor replied reassuringly."Like his attitude problem." Sakura muttered to herself.
"I think to an IV or something, I'm surprised we have to do this now but like I said Looker is a nice guy." Sakura assured "Though I have heard he's had it rough for a while."
"And I see that your mastery of my language has improved as well." Sakura smiled."It wasn't easy, but a young girl named Emma showed me that one is never too old to learn!"
Runaway wiped his nose with the back of his hand, sniffed, and wiped it again. "Y at-il autre chose que vous devez savoir?" Is there anything else you need to know?"Just one last question. You mentioned that this... Dr. Wily II had Psychic types too. Did he mentioned, or implied why he wanted you?"
"The sample is indeed taken in as evidence, and we are trying to decode it as well. We have the best people working on this, but it will still take some time. Including that shoe print. Now that was a doozy! As for Lilycove... To be honest, I do not know how deep this doctor has in Lilycove... However, there is a certain someone that could help!"
Looker had since left the conference room to make the call, giving Joe a chance to breathe. Despite no longer a Team Rocket member, being in the presence of an Interpol agent was still a bit intimidating. Although Twoey's action made him chuckle.Sakura looked to Joe who looked relieved that Looker was gone. She understood why he was nervous being a former Team Rocket member and all and having a criminal record didn't exactly help.
"Wish I thought of doing that," Mewtwo said ruefully, taking another drink of soda."I wonder if Quickie ever took Mewtwo for a message." Sakura pondered.
Trak reached up and took the paperclip off his head. "This one was made by Team Flare, and they dumped him near the Pokemon Village after a couple years. When I first caught him, he wasn't very friendly, but we changed that, didn't we?"
"Soothe bells are awesome," Mewtwo nodded. "And that nice lady in Cyllage who gives those great massages!"
"Hello Mr. Zoroark~" Sakura smiled at him.Diggersby turned to Sakura, and Growled deeply.
With WilyII unaware of Hierophant's unexpected stowaway onto his back, and his original intention snuffed by his decision to escape to supposedly another lab, the animate card (http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1387515912) decided to take this moment to keep into the evil scientist's soul and figure out how the good energy hidden within was doing.Deep within the darkness, Hierophant finally managed to find what he was looking for. Or at least what he thinks is what he's looking for. A faint glowing light of sorts, surrounded by tendrils of darkness. Upon closer inspection after dodging the tendrils, laid... A baby.
He searches through the darkness cast by his own shadow for any sign of goodness trapped within the sadistic, cruel mind that has since reclaimed his physical being.
Hierophant cocks an eyebrow in confusion as he moves closer to the baby despite every instinct in his programming warning him against further venturing.The baby giggled at the sensation. Through the telepathic link, it's shown that the baby is indeed what's left of Dr. Wily II 's good side. After the long period of darkness exposure, the good side was forced to revert back to its most innocent, and sadly, helpless form.
This was a new sight, given there was no lingering Tarot energy that indicates what the baby energy was currently expressing. Could this be what's left of WilyII's good energy?
Compressing his lips, Hierophant decides to risk further inspection and reaches over to lay his hand on the baby's head, hoping to get a better reading of its presence and significance to the current state of the once good doctor's predicament.
"Why don't you drop that disguise, please?~" Sakura teased.Diggersby Snarled, and finally revealed his true form. Howling, he beared his fangs at Sakura.
"Finally, I was getting sick of looking at you like that." Sakura said a bit gruffly "So tell me why are you working for Wily, is it because he caught you or because of something deeper than that?"Zoroark was still Snarling away, clearly unable to trust other humans...

Hierophant's compressed lips tighten at this realization, thinking the evil persona's contribution to Team Flora may have influenced this sudden change in the good energy.The baby giggled again, happy for the cradling. On the outside, Dr. Wily II felt a short, but sudden onset of relief. Thinking it was just the relief of finally replicating the Mind Powder formula, Dr. Wily II continued on his pet project.
He starts to ponder what he should do at this point. The way things are going, if he lets the evil persona continue to overtake the doctor's body, the good energy will eventually fade to non-existence, fully reawakening the cruelness that resulted in this conflicting conundrum. But if he tries to bring the good energy back to the forefront of the doctor's conscience while in the midst of Team Flora, he could risk him and his Pokemon being found out and killed by the few sane members keeping the team alive and high on harmful powders.
Hierophant attempts to cradle the baby in his arms, using the energy of his White Magic to keep him present as he waits for the right opportunity to free it from the evil persona's selfish clutches without risking any further danger.
Joe nodded as he took back the PokeBall."I talked to Joe's Zoroark, and I realized he's been through some emotional trauma, most likely from Wily. It wasn't physical as far I could tell but it was to the point that he wouldn't even talk to me. I want Joe to keep him so we can work with him so maybe we can ease his hurting heart." Sakura said sadly.
"I seriously hope the mad doc did not have a hand in its pain... Though it seems highly likely he might, since he was the one that gave me this Pokemon..."
Just then, Looker walked in, a look of weary on his face.
"Wow, that call was more difficult than I thought, however, Miss Quickie has been informed. And yes, I did tell her your name, Miss Sakura. She sounded shocked and happy at the same time! Although... Did something happen while I was away?"
"Massages," Trak nodded. "If it could get a former lab animal to open up, it'll work for that Zoroark. When I first caught Mewtwo, he wasn't very friendly at all. He was scared, mistrustful of anyone, even Wulfric who checked on him, hiding in a cave because he was afraid that Team Flare would come back and finish him off. It took a lot of work to get him where he is now, and really, the difference is amazing. Lysandre Labs is not a nice place for Pokemon.""Yes that'll definitely help him, as well as some proper grooming and nutrition among other things. I know plenty of things that can help him and I know the techniques since I studied them from various people. I'll help him feel safe, he may have looked threatening but I could tell he's scared." Sakura said with determination.
"Heh, like my mom's Delcatty. She loves my mom but would sooner barf in my shoes than let me pet her," Trak shrugged."He does at least trust us, but you shouldn't get on his bad side, though Quickie will make sure he doesn't do anything too bad....I think. As long as you don't threaten him, Quickie or someone else connected to him you should be okay." Sakura explained.
"You mean they're going to try what Magma tried to do years ago and make Mt. Chimney erupt? And then find Kyoger to flood the place too?" Sakura asked dryly as she was prepared to do a facepalm.
"Thanks Pyro I'll be over there as fast as I can with those party favors. Also stay classy dude." Sakura smiled despite getting irritated by the noise of the drugged out grunts.
The assistant nodded. "Too bad you couldn't keep that Alakazam; we'd have fresh batches in no time." She shrugged and looked at the Petri dish. "But, I have an Espeon that might be able to do it."Dr. Wily II glared up at the assistant.
(Just don't go over board like you did with Roxanne, which I honestly didn't like since you skipped over the things I did with her since you didn't have time to read that stuff when you got off of work. That's why I kind of retconed it into Roxanne actively looking for Mr. Bonding rather than going to Kalos to hide from him because it was totally out of character and really it didn't fit the situation.)
(Oh okay... I honestly don't really know the character a Gym Leader has outside of "Person you fight to get a badge", I mean that's basically all they are in the games save for like two or three of them.)(Roxanne in particular is a Student of the Pokemon Trainer's school, or in this RP Professor of Rustboro University. Gym Leaders in this universe are also authority figures in their town and are meant to protect their city with said power, like the police if you want to think that way. The Champion also has a reasonable amount of authority, especially Sakura due to her other accomplishments and saving the world 3 times. It's especially apparent in Ruby Sapphire and Emerald since Steven and Wallace personally allow you, a normal Trainer who is not the Champion yet, to go into the Cave of Origin which is usually off limits because Steven believes in your strength and bond with your Pokemon.
"I'd rather not, Runaway would be scared shitless if I told him." Sakura shuddered.(Man this quote is really harsher in hindsight.)
(D: )Diggeroark popped out of the PokeBall, and farted. Seeing Runaway, he Snarled.
Back in the Pokemon Center, after yet another nightmare, Runaway slid out of bed, went to the bathroom, got a drink of water, and blew his nose. It was obvious that he wasn't going to be able to sleep as well as he hoped, and with the recurring presence of that Zoroark-man in each dream, he knew who the culprit was.
Digging through Trak's bag, he dug out his spoons. Approaching Joe, he sorted the Poke Balls and grabbed the one containing the Zoroark, which he threw to release it.
Trak rubbed her nose and snorted back some congestion.
"Well... I heard that even though Xerosic was questionable in his science ethnics, he seemed to be a bit genuine to one girl right? As for Wily... ""After he used her for experiments." Sakura countered.
"Oh man, the stories I could tell of Xerosic," Twoey said mockingly. "Wulfric can confirm some of them, since he's the one who found me outside the Pokemon Village where they dumped me. Nice guy, by the way. Big Teddiursa.""Yeah I heard he's quite nice, Wattson is the same way....except punnier." Sakura laughed.
Trak, meanwhile, was just lightly stroking Runaway's head as he slept. She had since recalled Susan, who was bored out of his skull.

"Contests, eh? I've tried my hand at them, but I find making PokeBlocks is more entertaining," Taylor said, wandering over to the blenders to make some."Ah yes of course I've always loved making Pokeblocks and Poffins." Sakura said as she followed Taylor.

Arthur started jumping up and down trying to get Runaway's attention, or at least annoy him.
"Oh I forgot the sectioning claw clips." Sakura realized as she got out some decent sized sectioning claw clips from her bag and used a few to separate the mane into a few sections to make it easier to tackle. Once the mane was properly clipped she took a comb to comb a section of hair and held it strait before spritzing it with the bottle and cutting the section by half an inch in certain areas to make a layer effect.Zoroark paused a moment.
"You know very few Zoroark's know how to use Extrasensory." Sakura said trying to start a conversation "Was your father a Nintales or Shiftry by any chance, or grandfather?"
"Maybe one of the Nurse Joys is a psychiatrist? Know any one like that, Sakura?""Hmm not that I can remember." Sakura shook her head "I'll admit all the Joys and Jennys usually blend together, except for that one bitchy Jenny 3 years ago."
"It's not like that was his first mind-meld, either," Trak again checked the other room to make sure that Twoey was keeping an eye on the Alakazam, "he's done it before, plenty of times. For a while, we were working with one of Sycamore's assistants, and he used Runaway's skills in determining migratory patterns, social structures, and even the occasional scan of a Pokemon from the Village. Caught more than a few abusive trainers that way."".......That just creeps me out. I mean it's good that it was used for such a good purpose but I can't help but be creeped out by it." Sakura said stunned. "But that's more of a personal thing thanks to those events 3 years ago."
(Ah... Bitchy Jenny... 8D)"I honestly wouldn't put it past him, but at the same time I think it's unlikely. I think there's a contradiction in Runaway's record of what he saw, I don't think it was possible for Wily and Xerosic to have met each other." Sakura theorized.
"Perhaps before... But for some reason, this time it really backfired on Runaway. Given how Zoroark was acting... I have a sneaky suspicion that maybe... Just maybe... Wily planned this too."
Zoroark Snarl'd loudly again.
"I noticed that wince back there, you didn't happen to see something titled something along the lines of AC-065-Σ did you?" Sakura asked seriously.
(Wow, so direct and to the point. XD)(Well that's how Sakura is, especially with Domino.)
"Still clinging to that, huh?" Domino sneered. "I'm doing good. Got my nursing certification, and I've been working in emergency services. Day's been quiet so far, but this evening, the Knife and Gun Club is bound to show up. Yourself?""Well that's good, glad they let you do that despite the criminal record and all." Sakura sneered herself "I've been doing okay for the past 3 years but as usual some incident dragged me in. You know those Team Flora people right?"
"Plus all the weird things that kept happening... That didn't help much..." Taylor added."That's what happens when you hang out with me. I attract weird stuff all the time." Sakura stated.
The Hypno rubbed his foot some more, then stretched his knees. "That trial was a farce." He flipped through the papers and squinted, and then pulled out a pair of spectacles, balancing them on his nose. He turned to the Zoroark and Joe. "What the initial interview will entail is a hypnosis session, in which I will put you in a state of deep relaxation. I will not put you to sleep, I will not use any type of mind control, and I will not eat your dreams. You will be in more or less a twilight state of consciousness. This will enable any repressed memories to flow freely, along with allow you to speak with less inhibitions. Do you understand this session as I had explained it to you?"Joe took the papers, and took the time to the read through each page. He didn't really want to ask much questions if possible, and so far, the papers have been pretty detailed with the procedures and possible side-effects. Nodding at each page, and grabbing the pen, he signed on the dotted line, and wrote the date.
He handed Joe a copy of the papers, along with a pen. "This will explain it in more detail. If you understand, please sign and date, the bottom copy is yours. Do you have any questions?"

"Five years of training since birth," Hypno nodded proudly. "I have a pedigree. Two years of language training, followed by three years of psychiatric and hypnotherapy training. After that, I was certified, and have been working with both humans and Pokemon for fifteen years." He smoothed his neck ruff in pride.Joe sort of sigh in relief... In a not too obvious manner. Joe almost thought that this Hypno was a Hypno that stood over him when he woke up in bed around 10 years ago (Joe's 16 8U). Bowing to the Hypno...
".....Sycamore thought genocide was beautiful?" Sakura asked incredulously."I'm still not entirely sure... As smart as he is, ol' Augustine can be more dense than the core of a Golem sometimes, ya know?" Taylor replied.
"Yeah I think we can all use something to eat after that." Sakura nodded "After I eat I'll call Looker to see what was up with the Xerosic situation and then I'll call the [sonic slicer] at around ten when she should be done with her shift. I just hope it's not one of her busy nights."(You can have fun with Looker, Sakura. Unless it's just a one-sided convo. XD)
"I'm not your [tornado fang]ing mom, wake up!" Sakura said as she slapped him."GAH!"
Trak glanced up while she tended to the Bug Catcher, who was starting to come around. "Behave, you two." She stuck out her tongue, and then returned to what she was doing.Hypnoker's bloodshot eyes shot open, glowing with ominous energy. With inhuman strength, he grabbed Trak by the neck, and lifted her up.
The Bug Catcher sat up in a daze, reeking of the stink that the Hypno carried. "...Where am I? Last thing I remember was going out to explore..."
Trak merely nodded to the unconscious Hypno. "This might be the reason." Since the Bug Catcher was unharmed, aside from dirt, a bruise or two, a small scrape, and the memory loss, Trak focused on the Hypno, which had clearly been in one very nasty and bloody fight. "What the hell happened? It looks like someone tried to tear its throat out!" She opened her bag and dug out her first aid kit.
Runaway still stayed a respectable distance away, his brow furrowed.
"Jynx!" Shiva cried as she used her Ice Beam to freeze Hypnoker's legs as Starscream followed up with a Crunch attack.Hypnoker's eyes glowed heavily as he halted the incoming Crunch, although his legs are frozen in place.
Apprentice frowns, wanting to help Trak, but worries his attacks will affect her as well. He quickly taps Pixie on the side, causing her to tilt her head towards the attacking Hypno and fling out her proboscis, firing a String Shot that wrapped around his scarred head.Hypnoker's vision suddenly went black as he Struggled, though he did not loosen his grip on Trak.
Merrick, meanwhile, runs over to the Bug Catcher while Hypnoker was seemingly distracted.
"Come on. Let's get out of here before things get worse," he ushers.
Joe sighed in relief, as Zoroark slowly stirred awake, grabbing his head."Insane Hypno over there grabbed Trak by the neck but Runaway knocked him out with punch while Apprentice burned him with Will-o-Wips" Sakura explained "But now we have no idea what to do with him since we're kind of in the middle of nowhere and the population of Fallarbor are zombies."
"... Argh... My head..."
"You're awake!" *still groping*
*looks around, noticing the carnage from earlier, and in more recent times* "... I guess something happened while I was knocked out?"
"Yea... It's over now. Yes. It's really over now."
"So, what do we do with it? We can't just leave it here," Trak looked at the collapsed Hypnoker. "With Fallarbor of no help, we could treat its wounds ourselves and release it somewhere away from town, but it's too dangerous to be left unchecked."Sakura grabbed an escape rope and threw it to Trak.
"No. NEVER release it. Although we managed to beat him this time, he's one that carries Grudges to Lavender Tower. And from my earlier encounter with him... He's a lost cause. He's Wily's, and under the influence of his perfected Mind Powder.""Even more reason to tie him up then." Xuangzang stated.
(Of course it would be a happy ending! I wouldn't write a sad one.)
"Glad we got 'em," Taylor replied happily.
Merrick arrives back in the creepy, glass-eye staring aftermath of Fallabor Town. Wasting no time, he heads over to the Pokemon Center to get Jeff only to take notice of the same, glass-eyed stare of the town's Nurse Joy. It seems even she was affected, possibly due to the trainers coming in just as the dust was being spread throughout the area.
Compressing his lips some, he moves closer to the front desk, observing her lethargic posture, then summoning his scepter and staring at the blue orb atop it in deep contemplation.
Thinking of trying one of the few spells you imprinted off the Hierophant card? Death muses, From what I've gotten since latching onto your back, you haven't used the highest level Esuna spell that affects everyone in your immediate area.
"Maybe not...." Merrick mutters despite knowing that no competent person was going to question his seemingly talking to himself, "But if I can at least use the spell on Nurse Joy, maybe she can figure out an alternative to getting this town back to its lively self...."
He steps back some so as not to shove the scepter in Joy's face as he points it in her direction and grips it with both hands.
"ESUNA!"
The orb glows white as a glowing disc appears below Nurse Joy, causing an purplish aurora to rise around her. He only hopes that whatever the corrupt doctor put into the powder wasn't intended to block off what little magic he gained from his card counterpart prior to their unexpected separation.
(Sorry, Nurse Joy was dealing with police procedure and red tape. Let's just say that she finally gets back to Merrick and says that the precinct the next town over is sending a biohazard team, and that she recommends wearing a mask, which she started to do. They're getting in contact with Lilycove U's science department, as well.)
The Trainers outside walked right into the doors, but they continued to walk, oblivious to the door.
The trainers just stood there, dumbfounded and nervous of what was happening outside. One them moves closer and tries to push the door open, but the two trainer's aimless pushing kept it from budging. Other trainers began moving towards the door to try and get it open, but their increasing numbers only made it harder for them to reach through and pull the two trainers inside.The 2 Trainers, as if on instinct, walked away from the door, causing the crowd of Trainers inside to tumble out like fallen dominoes. The 2 Trainers lumbered to the sides of the Pokemon Center, like... Trailing.
Merrick stood behind the crowd, unsure of whether he should help the blundering trainers, or let them continue mushing themselves against the door until the collapse. His few imprinted White Magic spells couldn't be cast through the glass door and he figures his own strength wouldn't be enough to push against the might of the two currently blocking the door. Reluctantly, he starts wandering around the Center for a back door or open window he could use to get outside and use his Esuna spell to free both of them.
By the time Merrick made it to one side of the Center, he quickly sensed the trainers heading in the same direction. Whether or not they were following him was up to debates, but considering they were ordinary trainers with no magical abilities, something may have knocked around their aimless direction.The 2 Trainers continued in a slow walk, stopping just by the window that Merrick was peeking through. They turned their heads to face him, slightly drooling.
He decides to stop by one of the windows on nearby wall and peek out to see where the two droning trainers were and what little thoughts were being lulled into their wayward minds.
"Well that and I doubt Mewtwo would be able to stand the neighbors, he kind of has a somewhat low tolerance sometimes." Sakura nodded "Plus they like their privacy."
The 2 Trainers continued in a slow walk, stopping just by the window that Merrick was peeking through. They turned their heads to face him, slightly drooling.
(Well of course someone's dragging him, probably Apprentice since Sakura is the guide and would most likely know how to get out of trouble in the low income district. Not that they would, these are nice gangsters and thugs, plus they respect Sakura.)
The one Trainer closest to Merrick groaned, but soon, his eyes started to liven up. The other groaned at being shaken up.
(Oh no am I gonna miss the reunion with Quickie and Mewtwo while I'm over in Kalos? D:)
"The merry men throw wicked parties!" Pyro said, "Even Dave, Paul, and Gary came to play!" 8)"So Trigon is there too along with Giratina, that's strangely interesting." Sakura noted.
Trak nodded, pulled out the Master Ball, and released Twoey. "Mewtwo, meet Twoey. Twoey, meet Mewtwo.""Yeah I honestly had the same reaction too." Sakura laughed "As for how, apparently Team Rocket gave some samples of Mew's genes or your genes to Team Flare. I've also had to deal with some Team Flare stuff indirectly but thanks to Domino's and Taylor's help it seems to have been resolved according to the Kalos police. Now Taylor should be taking on the Elite Four to earn her own Champion title."
Mewtwo's jaw practically hit the floor and he almost dropped his coffee.
Twoey gave a tired grin, as he was "napping" while inside his ball. "Hi. Uh, wow, this is so weird..." He walked over to Mewtwo and extended his hand. "This is so weird. Like looking in the mirror. You know, I've heard about you, but never met you until now, and I'd like to shake your hand. Would you shake my hand?"
It took a moment, but Mewtwo shook Twoey's hand. "...How? Who made you? When?? Are there others? I... I--just--when--what??"
Quickie looked to Sakura. "I think we broke him."
Back in Fallarbor Town, a masked Trainer stood, hiding amongst the bumbling Trainers. Getting his bearings, he sneaked out if the group, and into an alleyway not far from the Pokemon Center. He fiddled with his ear, and seemed to talk to himself.
... Within Team Flora's Secret HQ, Dr. Wily II was admiring the Oddish, who was completely bald now, and started to gnaw on one of its feet. Laughing at the sight, he was interrupted by a call in his earpiece.
"Yes? Ah you. What!? Are you sure!? ... A light show? I see... Carry on with the observation, and deploy the zombies as you see fit. Wily out.
After ending the call, Dr. Wily II tightened his right fist.
"So you made your move... Merrick.
Back at Fallarbor Town, the masked Trainer came out if the alleyway, and headed towards the Pokemon Center.
Merrick thought he saw the two revived trainers bolt from town, but because he was now trapped in the center, he felt it wasn't best to try and go after them in the hopes that the hazemat people would stop and decontaminate them before letting continue on their way.Earl watches Merrick head off, his eyes staring. He decided to adjourn to a room too, and it just so happens that there was an empty room just across from the one that Merrick entered. Once inside, he fiddled with his ear again.
With nothing left to do but wait, he decides to head back to Jeff's room and check up on him. With Fallabor now equally infested with pollen and spores, the poor Magician is probably sneezing worse than he did in the previous town.
Zoroark lowered his head."Mr. Zoroark I never blamed you for what you did, it was Wily's fault not yours. And we will kick his ass before we save him and seal his evil personality." Sakura stated.
"I'm extremely sorry for what I have done."
Joe snapped out from his Hypnoker trance, and hugged Zoroark.
"There, there."
"Yeah the former president may have been completely eccentric but he at least knows quality and stuff." Sakura smiled "Anyway we're in the lower class area of Lilycove but we're going to be heading to the police station to help with an investigation. You can meet us there and I'll explain the entire situation."
(I can somehow imagine Sapph somehow getting lost on the the way to Verdanturf town when we used the Rusturf Tunnel. XD)(Immortality gave him a terrible sense of direction? Or he lost his sense of direction during the timeskip.)
".....Dr. Landis' Hypno was shot and it seems to be because someone mistook him for that Hypno." Sakura said pointing to the Premier Ball "He'll be okay just got grazed in the arm and his lung collapsed but he'll recover. It seemed to have been a drive by shoot out and it happened while the news was giving details about our 'friend' there. I'm hoping Quickie's Mewtwo will be able to find something but we have to wait and see."
"Oh my god, that's horrible!" Trak was aghast. "He was such a nice guy, too...""And this is why I'm not that fond of Lilycove." Sakura sighed as Xuangzang just stared at Joe for not noticing the atmosphere. "And that Hypno was in Mewtwo's Trial."
"You knew that Hypno?" Quickie spoke up. "I saw the article in the paper, and the name was familiar, but I don't recall seeing that Hypno. That's a shame, really. This isn't the first time I've read about a shooting like that, either. Last year or so, some uppity parent saw a wild one that was hanging around their kid's school, and they went out one night and shot it. It's sickening. They're not all bad. But, that's people for you... Mewtwo could write a thesis about that." She paused. "Oh, if anyone's legs are cramped, I can move the passenger seat up. Mewtwo usually has it pushed all the way back to make room for his legs."
Joe just stared at Xuangzang, while Zoroark just facepalmed. The rest of Joe's Pokemon had been recalled back while he was dragged earlier.Xuangzang looked at Mr. Zoroark and sighed.
"We should see how he's doing at some point," Trak nodded."When he's feeling better, right now Doc Hypno needs rest." Sakura sighed.
While Jeff was busy quenching his thirst after being given a glass of Magic Water from Merrick's duffel bag, the young priest starts to ponder whether or not the hazmat team was going to provide untainted food and drinks to the other trainers locked within the Center. An odd feeling told him that they were going to be stuck here a while and some trainers didn't seem to like staying in one area for more than the time needed to heal their Pokemon.Earl watched as the Hazmat people brought in vacuum cleaners of various sizes, and began sucking up whatever and wherever. Soon, his eyes set themselves on Merrick, and his growing crew. He didn't know the "Magician", as the Doc called him, had any companions besides his Pokemon.
Leaving Synthis to keep watch of Jeff's wellbeing, he heads back to the main lobby to see how the other tainers were doing; most particularly the suspicious trainer that had been observing the situation since before the lock down. It wasn't in his best interest to pry on someone else's thoughts, but something about that trainer kept bothering him like he was allowing something terrible to happen due to courtesy and a lack of evidence to prove his suspicions.
Solosis finally exits out of the bag, and glomps onto Merrick's head.
"Solos sol solo sol solosis so sol!" (Me really like you!)
"Hey seriously don't touch that [parasitic bomb], you could grow like four arms or turn into some fly monster or something. Who knows what's in crap like that." Sakura reprimanded.Joe lowered his head.
Merrick wants to thank Solosis, but was afraid he'd accidentally swallow some of his gel. Although he did hear a faint conversation, Solosis can't transmit this new information to Earl, for fear of interception. He just continued to bubble happily.
You really are too kind for your own good.... Death muses, not knowing (or caring) that Solosis might hear her through its Psychic powers. Merrick "innocently" sling the duffel bag onto his back in a vain attempt to shut her up (only to knock more air out of his inflated lungs) as he moves to the scattered areas of the cafeteria where some of the Pokemon had left the borrowed toys behind.
Joe lowered his head.
