I did not enjoy the movie Cloverfield. I mean, it wasn't a bad idea, but the camerawork made me nauseous and while normally something like that wouldn't be scary, trying to keep from vomiting while watching it created a similar enough effect. Like many things, being subjected to fear while watching something that isn't really scary caused my subconscious to revolt. This is the source of many odd dreams.

I remember the dream started with me waking up, putting on a house coat, and taking a look outside. Then I hear Cloverfield's roar. I run outside to see what's going on, and there's Clover, rampaging through the neighborhood. Then it turned its head, looked at me, and roared again. Then Megatron, Transformers G1 style, bursts out of a house, screams "SHUT THE [tornado fang] UP" and starts blasting Clover.

I also have a dream story that's just scary.

I was apparently the head of a huge crime syndicate or something. We were using a corporate front, real action movie bad guy like. Well, the police or some special forces or whoever attacked the building. Huge gun-fights raging throughout the lower floors. My guys start getting pushed back, when one of the big hero people on the police side turns on her allies and helps turn the tide. This is not where it gets scary.

This is. The next day, my best friend and I are talking and the conversation suddenly shifts to dreams. She tells me about a dream she had the night before. She was working with a SWAT like organization, and was storming a corporation that was being used as a front for a huge crime syndicate. During the battles though, she blew away her allies, joined the syndicate group, and helped turn the tide.

I was very amused.

Mostly I have nightmares about wars. Maybe it's because I watch too much war movies and play too much war games. I remember I have a dream tries to sneak out, hides in my closet and the soldier shoot me dead. x_x

I had an intresting dream of an unusual figther with the hammerhead shark as a hero. Apparently the dream involved good ol' Antlantis turning evil, and the same hammerhead fought every foe to reach Urcainus, apparently a mutaited Merman that was exposed to toxic waste who was once the good leader of Antlantis. I was the designer of War McHammer, who was the brave hammerhead that volunteered to fight off the toxic evil.

The game's fighters moved in a old-fashioned arcaidy way, stiff and simple. there were "in-between" action stages before heading into the main ring of that boss, though.

Once when Atlantis was freed, the toxic waste vanashed and the city was restored.

Pretty weird, huh?

During the battles though, she blew away her allies, joined the syndicate group, and helped turn the tide.

I was very amused.

Intresting on how certain dreams can connect to the same person who was dreaming that same scenario.

Since I usually listen to audio adventures before bed, my dreams will sometimes pertain to those.  After listening to the Eighth Doctor episode Terror Firma, I dreamt up an invaded planet with an enclave of slaves, ruled by a squadron of Renegade Daleks.  A battalion of Imperial Daleks caught wind of that enclave of slaves and decided that if they couldn't have the slaves, no one will have the slaves.  So, an invasion fleet descended upon the planet, destroying the domed barracks and factories.  The Renegade Daleks immediatly began their counter-attack.  As the war waged, a group of slaves began sowing the seeds of rebellion...

Oddly, that plot matched various episodes of the Dalek Empire series (that I started listening to later) more than it did Terror Firma.  And on that note, after listening to an episode from Dalek Empire II: Dalek War, I had a dream pertaining to it.  Sorta.  Well, it had a Dalek in it.  The mutant burst forth from its casing, demanding the Hershey bar I had.

I also have dreams that have nothing to do with the audio that I listen to before bed.  One dream I remember rather well was one I actually didn't wanna wake up from.  In the dream I had an apartment.  It was a ratty hole-in-the-wall, in a bad neighbourhood in the bad part of a bad town, and my roommate was a total slob.  But dammit, I had an apartment, so I was happy.

I don't have any really recent dreams that I remember (or were really worth remembering).

Most people want to remember what they dreamt but it's hard to remember. Sleep is like you're already dead, and awake means like afterlife. Please, I'm not a grim reaper you know. Anyways, I think I remember I was a tiny bird get killed with another tiny bird with a pointy stick for some reason.

Usually, when I remember a dream, it was worth remembering.  And to make sure that the dream sticks, I will replay it over and over in my head.  That usually works quite well.  Also, writing dreams down helps to lock 'em in memory.

Sometimes, my dreams will give me great stories to write and characters.

It's crazy, but I mostly have nightmares in my entire life, more so than dreams. Naturally, I have forgotten pretty much all of them by now. Every time I have a nightmare, even in present days, I always want to escape the nightmare during it happening as fast as possible, because somehow I can feel that this is not good to experience. :)

Now that I think of it, I do remember a nightmare, Eraserhead style. It was a slow moving black and white nightmare, in my own house, where I went to the bathroom downstairs, and once I sat there doing my thing, this creepy old woman appeared in front of me(Stupid me did not lock the door!), stared at me directly and started talking in a foreign language in a creepy tone. After that was done, she walked away, and then I woke up.

A few nights back, I had a strange dream.  It was a normal evening, I had let the dog outside to do his business and was getting ready to settle down and listen to another episode of Dalek Empire III.  My dog starts barking, frantically.  Soon, my grandma's dog starts barking.  Followed by every dog in the neighbourhood.  I get up and go to see why the dogs are barking, and see that it wasn't dark out anymore.  No, something BIG was hovering over the house, bright running lights on the underside lighting up the ground like day, and my dog nowhere to be seen.  "A flying saucer!"  I turn away from the window and force myself to wake up.

Perhaps I should save listening to Dalek Empire for another night...

Heh... you're quite like me. I do want to remember all the nightmares and dreams, but I forgotten all of them by now, but I don't want to escape my nightmare, because I always has no dreams at all... Just black. I think I remembered a dream when I was 4. An orange big room with a giant old fashion clock. I saw a dead man behind the clock, then I wake up. I want to dream about it more. :\

One dream I had when I was little involved Captain America, me, the devil, and a circus. Few details to salvage, but it was very creepy at the time.

Otherwise, I actually tend to suffer from deja vu with my dreams. I dream about this event happening, and, whaddaya know, it happens the following day. Maybe it's common, maybe it's not, but it's certainly weird.

My dreams tend to run the gamut from mundane, to neat, to epic, to nightmarish, to weird.  A dream from a couple nights ago fits in the weird category quite well.  I dreamt I was a part of a time-travelling forensics team, and we had just gone back to investigate a string of suspicious murders taking place in a deserted castle in the time of sword and sorcery.  My team explored a castle for clues, while I and another teammate went out to question the locals.  I was the only teammate who could talk to dragons, so I questioned two dragons, one just a local beast and the other the guardian of the fortress who was suspected of the murders.

The dragons denied involvement and suggested that I may find the clues to the mystery within the castle walls.  So, I go back to find my other teammates removing the bodies and gathering evidence.  While investigating a blood-spattered corridor, I came upon a stray Adipose (http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Adipose).  It crawled away from a slaughtered body, smiled, waved, and toddled down the corridor and out of sight.

I rejoin my team and as some stay behind, the rest of us are sent back to our time to report our findings.  I immediatly report the Adipose, which my superior finds highly suspicious as that species is not to be on that planet in that era.

The rest of the dream is sketchy at best and I think I woke up around that point anyway.  Really weird.

I got a dream last night. It involved a guy who was seriously pissed at me, and went fighting and fighting until we were both tired and could not lift our hands anymore. Then I escaped and woke up.

I also have had plenty of those kind of dreams, which involve violence, such as falling down from the sky and feeling it, or driving inside a car way too fast and in both examples crashing to a presumed death. But also other fights with unknown people.

A ton of other things happened as well! There was this part where I had to kill an evil robot. (Smashed by a falling elevator. Classic. XD)
Then a part where I was at school. (How strange.)
And then the finale where Me and the other members of the group had to escape the Dream World (it was starting to fall apart.) and get to the Exit door, which was in my house, at the edge of the world.
It was a pretty sweet dream, but the last part could've been real. X(

This is the dream I had yesterday;

I woke up, and got dressed. I went downstairs to eat breakfast, as usual, except my family wasn't there. They were always ready before me. As I went upstairs, I realized that the staircase kept getting longer and longer, much like the Never Ending Staircase in Super-Mario64. I returned down the stairs, and there they were.

EXCEPT THEY HAD NO FACES.

Terrified, I ran out the front door and a darkness surrounded me as I somehow fell down an endless pit. A flying hippo emerged from nowhere and kicked me continuously. Every time it kicked me, it would pull another flying hippo out of it's nose. Those flying hippos would do the same, and the ones after that, and the ones after that...

It was the most [tornado fang]'d up dream I ever had(It may seem like I'm lying, but I swear to God, I'm not).

(Could it have been the 4 advil I took before going to bed? o_O)

Was last night's dream ever weird!  I dreamt that I was watching some screwy cross-between of Legends of the Hidden Temple and Double Dare.  A member of the Orange Iguanas was crossing through a pit of slime when he jumped into a slime bucket to fetch what appeared to be a conjoined-twin plastic doll-whistle thing.  Then, the kid started licking the slime off it.  He sat down and ate the slime while his teammate screamed at him.

That then segued into another obstacle course with Olmec saying to run up the stairs to the crypt.  One of the Purple Monkeys started attacking a Temple Guard with a whip, then was attacked by a giant marble.

Then, my brother and I were in the producer's office, demanding payment.  They tried to pay us in Trix.

Weird.

Jeez, I got another zombie infested dream. I was running away from them.

I have also gotten a few dreams where I was a criminal, attacking students of a school with some kind of army I forgot.

I have also gotten a few freaky dreams where there are a lot of people inside a house enjoying a party, and when I turn my head away for
a while and return it, the whole crowd is gone, and it slowly gets darker and darker until a shadow adult male figure approaches me from a doorway
and proceeds to tickle me to death. And WHENEVER that happened, I always would feel the tickling.

Note to self: Don't fuss with programming before bed.

Last night, I dreamt up a new sorting algorithm that's O(1).  It was called a "Professor Sort" and it used a void shift (or something) in which all it needed to do was compare one item and the list was sorted.  The algorithm was developed for some program that was being used by the Daleks in some fiendish plot to exterminate damn near everything but themselves.

If I dreamt in code, I'd be a genius.  But the only code I dream in is Wiki markup and the dream was vague.

Had a strangely-cohesive plotline for a naptime dream earlier.

I dreamt that my brother and I decided to take his crappy Plymouth Reliant K out for a joyride, something he'll never do due to the car being crappy.  We sped down Route 30 between McKnightstown and Gettysburg, ramping off of snowdrifts, driving through parkinglots to ramp off of speedbumps, and anything else that would be hell on the suspension.  About a half-mile outside of Gettysburg, I notice something hovering above General Lee's Headquarters (resturant, hotel, and brewery, right on the edge of town).  I tell my brother about it, and he says he'll drive up to get a closer look.

The traffic gets just god-awful as we drive into town.  Cars are stopped in the middle of the road and people are running from 'em.  Behind us, above General Lee's, caught in searchlights, was a flying saucer.  My brother gets out to look, I get out to look, then we both run back to the car, realizing some crazed person might steal it and make a getaway, and meet some red-head girl with glasses named "Trina."  She gets us up to speed on what's going on: something has invaded Gettysburg.

Meanwhile, on a rooftop, a Dalek patrol squad are conversing with each other, the Dalek Supreme (via comm unit), and surrounding this big mobile weapon station-thing.  The Dalek Supreme tells the commanding Dalek to deploy the weapon.  The commanding Dalek, who apparently has a speech impediment, stutters and is hesitant to do so, but finally obeys under penalty of extermination.

Down towards the square in Gettysburg, another squad unleashes a patrol of Special Weapons Daleks on the populace.  My brother, Trina, and I try to get the car turned around and attempt escape.  'Cept I wake up to my dog going nuts.

Perhaps I should take a looooong break from listening to Dalek Empire IV...

Well, recently with all the projects and assignments due, even my dreams, or should I call them nightmares, involve assignments too.

The most recent one had me do a ton of programming, after which, I finally got some rest.
When I awoke from said rest, I was totally beat, and decided to sleep in. When I awoke again at night, I realised that I was supposed to have a midterm during the afternoon, and it counted towards 50% of the final grade. [/dream]

Yay, another dream. I was walking down a street, then I found 4 children. They invited me to play and ask to follow me somewhere. Then the children and I end up into a grave yard. There's a house (looks haunted) in the middle of the grave yard. We play hide and seek, then I bumped on someone. He looks 17, pale skin, wear purple tux and has grey wings, but I don't remember his hair looks like. He looks like he never have a friend before, lonely, emo... I become his best friend, but one night. The 4 children were jealous, and decide to kill me with a knife. He tries to stop them, then I ran away. Never came back...

Okay , i had this dream... I was this HUGE and i mean HUGE  , this the size of a airplane huge , popsicle in the sky. As im flying shooting houses with lazer beams, Watching the black houses and midnight red sky , i saw a Zombie Horde coming.. Thousands of them. I got so scared i turned back into a human and fell right out of the sky. Oddly enough i sprouted huge crow wings and flew over the horde , even when they tried to attack me. I couldnt control my wings though , they controled themselves perfect , dodging attacks and safely landing at my house. My wings folded back into me and i walk into the house. Next i see my friend Adam... him asking " What are you doing in my house, Animal Freak! " Shocked , i ran to the side of the house... Also i had a pillowcase full of my halloween candy from last year... exept there were 2 popsicles in there. I bit one without thinking then said to myself " Great... there goes my huge popsicle form " as i threw it on the ground and saw Adam walking over to me. He asked me nicely to leave his property ( by the way , he's 13 , a bit younger then me ). So at superhuman speeds , i ran to the back of (my) house to see his dad in the backyard. He also asked me " What the heck are you doing in my yard scum! " so i left and hurried to the Price Chopper ( its a grocery store ) in our area. As i walked in , unlike the outside world that looked like the apocolypse was happening, there were normal people shopping. I could hear them saying and pionting at me " its the dragon girl , its her " and " maybe we should kill her " . I was a little shocked , but next thing , a Guy pinned me against the wall. As soon as that happened , a shapeshifted without thinking , into a huge snake with wings. Iblew ice onto that guys head , and flew around , watching the scared faces. I smiled , but then i accidently went back to human form. By then , everyone gathered around my so i couldnt esacpe. Through the crowd , there was a familiar face comign through. Yep. The crocodile hunter. He had a knife in his hand , and pinned me to ground with the knife against my neck. " Your going to die , Dragon kid " the croc hunter said and i told him back " No! " shapeshifting.

Next thing. I woke up.

Last night I had a dream of the usual disjointed series of events.  I was at the base of a mountain and decided to climb down a ravine to a stream.  There were all these bridges criss-crossing it, and caves in the rocks.  In one of the caves was a lil bat.  As I got to the bottom, there was no creek.  Instead, it was a floor, with furniture everywhere.  As I look around, the rocky ravine walls are replaced with plastered walls and bookshelves, so I decide to peruse the books a bit.  I get to one bookshelf, and there's that lil black bat.  It flies around, diving at me, so I crouch on the floor and cover myself with my jacket.  Then I woke up.

Yay, disjointed stuff.  There's prolly some meaning behind it, what with the lil bat being a constant.  I'm just not sure what the meaning is.

I had wierd dreams in the past, still do actually, let me tell you all one of my personal faves.

It was a warm and sunny day, everybody in middle school (including myself) went for a school trip to a HUGE water park. Everyone was wearing their bathings, "it was going to be a great day" I thought, but then two chinese cats come from nowhere, run straight at me, get on top of me and...well...they start licking my nipples...yep...I was greeted by nipple-licking chinese cats. Then they went away, i was thinking to myself "wtf just happened here?", but like any other wierd event in my dream I just ignored it and went on my mery way. For some reason I found myself playing/in a boring video game, I don't remember what it was about, only that it was in 3D and had a top down inverted perspective. The gams involved climbing up and down some crates...while some people were shooting at you from above.

And that's one of my dreams.
I hope you enjoyed it. 8)

Yeah , this one dream i had 2 days ago , was pretty exictin, and i'll make it shorter then my last one

~ Well , i was walking in my room , playing on my nintendo DS , i found out , my fat cat , Matches , Died.

I was pretty sad then I heard " C'mon jack me in so we can defeat the viruses that killed your cat! " So then I saw on my arm was a PET with Protoman.exe in it. I asked him why arent you with Chaud and he replied " Are you crazy? I'm your Navi -my name- " (not saying name for various reasons)

So i went i my computer and like perfectly did " Jack in! Protoman! Execute! " So we were in the net , then we found the viruses , a few mettuars, and a Dark Vent megamerged with ZX. He yelled at me " DONT USE THE DARK CHIPS!!!"

and i woke up.

???  And the day before i was playing MMBN5, getting a whole bunch of darkchips ???

I can't believe at the age of 21 that I am still experiencing freaky nightmares at the very present, I mean each time I have one the fear theme is so different. I forgot about the recent ones already, but I've definitely been on a nightmare roll again.

Still, it makes living them out more interesting.

I had a dream. I was somewhere near an abandoned farm. I went into the farmer's abandoned house and found the furnitures and treasures were dusty. Then I went upstairs, up and up to the attic. I found a mysterious figure. He was drawing while looking at the moon. Yes, that means its midnight. He done noticed that I look at him and attacked. After that, I woke up. I can't describe what he looks like because I'm pretty bad at explaining. I drew him on paper. Dreams and nigthmares, they gives me ideas.

Most Recent Dream, First time Experienced: Around the End of May

It is my birthday. After opening all of my gifts, my parents inform me of one more present. They tell me to close my eyes, I hear footsteps.  I then hear a voice tell me to Open my eyes, I look up and I see Kallen. She then sits down on my lap and kisses me, and says she's going to spend the rest of her life with me. I go upstairs in a fit of rage, yelling at my parents for "Toying with my emotions". They later come up with Kallen and say that she is the real Kallen, and not somebody who dressed like her. Kallen then comes over and Hugs me.

Thats usually about how far I get before the dream changes.

On that table was a odd board game ive never seen before. Vixy opened it up  , and it was a Megaman/Wizard of Oz board game cross. The only weird thing was all the characters yuo could be were from megaman , or dorthy. Also Strangely there were 2 evil witches , and no good witch. The object of the game was to do something with one of the witchs cousins , and splash water on the other witch , i cant remember very well. All i remember after us setting it up is me fighting over with someone , being Mayl as your character. the only megaman you could play as was Trigger

I dreamt that I was wandering through this small town, tracking down a Northern Ireland nationalist.  There was a tavern called Artemis, and I heard that the nationalist liked to frequent the basement bar called The Tunnels of Artemis, so I holed up there to wait for him.

Reviving this because I want to post dreams. I would use the What are you thinking now thread but I'd rather use this thread even if the last post is 1 1/2 years old.

Dream 1: A blank empty world, the only things in it are me, and a telephone. The telephone rings, I answer it... The only thing I hear is static, but with voices of people faintly in the background. I hang the phone up, it breaks. I believe this is supposed to be some sort of "I don't belong with Society" dream. Seeing as there are people and a completely different world on the other side of the emptiness, but I am not there.

Dream 2 (Its a daydream but who [tornado fang]ing cares.): Remember P&S Episode 2? When they crash into the school using their car? Well, same thing with my school. I purposely let myself get hit by the car, but on the verge of death I'm suddenly brought back to life... Then Panty tried seducing me, which I responded to by pushing her away and running off, then I find out that they somehow have a lot of the same classes I do. Sort of like they just willed themselves into my life for some reason. It was very strange, Doesn't help I'm on a depressing moodswing from the weather being [parasitic bomb]. I'll probably have another variation of it tonight.

Dream 3 (This one is a short one): Me and Stocking go and see a movie, she comes home with me but as soon as I get home she is no longer there. Probably a message to stop believing in what will not ever happen.  Again, the depressing moodshift doesn't help.

Hell, if this actually gets a whole revival. I think I might start delving into my more depressing state of mind again.

holy [tornado fang] what was my mind on when i posted this

Reviving this because I want to post dreams.

Last night, I dream I was sitting outside, watching deer go by, and then a hammerhead shark swim through the air.  So, I decided to go inside and get dinner.  I walked into this huge apartment building and got lost, unable to find my way around.  I eventually boarded a tram with a few other people, who were also lost. One guy said that he didn't like the elevators, and I said that I didn't like them either, as they toss you around.  We get off the tram and go on a hunt for the terminal with the tram that will take us home.  We end up getting separated and I join with another group of people, also looking to find their way home.

As we roam this massive complex with trams and terminals and walk through a food court, we notice that everything had become very quiet and everyone was staring at us and trying to prevent our passage.  One man, seated at a table, kicks a chair in my path and tells me to turn back as I'm "getting too close."  I tell him that it's my brain and thus my dream, and therefore, I can do whatever I wish.

The man becomes upset and says, "NO!  You don't understand!  You don't own this world! They do!"

I ask who "they" are, but receive no answer.  Our progress impeded, I turn back and decide to find a different way around.  Only, there's a group of people fighting a zombie as I move passed, and they're trying to keep the zombie away from me.  "We can't let it hurt the brain!  Protect the brain!"  I eventually get away from that group and emerge from a building and walk through a lobby, with someone talking about what "a great movie" that was, and I see an overlay of credits scrolling.  I ignore them and go outside, to see trees toppled all over, as if a storm has passed through, and no one around, save for two teenage boys standing on a street corner.

The doorbell rang and I woke up and maintenance had arrived to fix a breaker.

I had a dream that I was dictating a comic script to my brother, who was typing it up (even though it was already typed, don't ask).  The story was stupid, the plot made absolutely no sense, and it was a horrible story that served only to show how awesome Batman is.  My brother said, "Why do you even want to work on this stupid thing?"

I replied, "Because I can draw visuals as awesome as this."  And I show him a picture of Batman fighting the sarlacc.

I fly a lot in my dreams as well, though I actually do realize it. It's so in-depth that I use a specific method each time. I always tense up my "body", tilt slightly forward, then jump in the air to fly.

The thing is, I always fly slowly, never fast. Not sure why. There was one dream where I was flying several feet above my house and a city; that was very exciting.

How is that a pity.

18+ dreams suck ass, because they're just that, dreams.

Romantic dreams, same deal.

Anything involving relations is painful to wake up from.

Take it from somebody who knows this better than the back of their hand.

Reviving...

Powerlines...  They often impede me when flying.  They're everywhere!

And I had an odd dream last night.  It was, of course, your basic "back in school" dream, where I was back in high school.  Only, this time I had taken a test to see what classes I could take, and I had gotten a packet of what classes were right for me.  So, I looked them over and found Algebra, Calculus, and Physics listed, and I was surprised.  It made me so happy to see that I was taking Calculus that I cried, because it meant that my school felt that I was smart enough to handle the class...

...that was taught by Kyle Katarn.

Yep.

Posted on: June 27, 2013, 09:00:39 AM
So, I had another dream where I was tracking a Northern Ireland nationalist.  According to the dream, it was the same guy who I was tracking before, except the dive bar, the Tunnels of Artemis, didn't make an appearance.  I don't remember much about this one, only that I was once again tracking that Northern Ireland nationalist.

Ringman says that I have a novel on my hands that I meed to write.  I would do so, if my dreams provided me with a few more plot details.  I'm not very familiar with Northern Ireland nationalists, not enough to write them convincingly in a story, anyway.

My dreams aren't half as intelligent as yours. Probably because I don't read books much anymore.

Just lots of flying, falling and being chased. Though some of them are interesting, yet bizarre.

For example, I once had a dream that I was in a gunfight with a bunch of "claymation" people. Like, they literally moved AND looked like Claymation dolls. It was awesome.

I think we were in a parking lot, and everyone, including myself, were shooting from behind cars. Taking cover, reloading and all that jazz.

Ms. Marvel initially possessed superhuman strength, endurance, stamina, flight, physical durability, a limited precognitive "sixth sense", and a perfectly amalgamated human/Kree physiology that rendered her resistant to most toxins and poisons, with the added effect of making her body virtually invulnerable and indestructible. As Binary, the character could tap the energy of a "white hole", allowing full control and manipulation of stellar energies, and therefore control over heat, the electromagnetic spectrum and gravity. Light speed travel and the ability to exist in the vacuum of space were also possible.

Although the link to the white hole was eventually severed, Ms. Marvel retains her Binary powers on a smaller scale, enabling her to both absorb energy and project it in photonic form. She can still also survive in space. While she lacks a constant source of energy to maintain the abilities at their previous cosmic level, she can temporarily assume her Binary form if empowered with a high enough infusion of energy.

Ms. Marvel possesses incredible superhuman strength and durability, can fly at roughly half the speed of sound,[71] retains her Seventh Sense, and discharge explosive blasts of radiant energy, which she fires from her fingertips. She also demonstrates the ability to absorb other forms of energy, such as electricity, to further magnify her strength and energy projection, up to the force of an exploding nuclear weapon.[42] When sufficiently augmented, she can withstand the pressure from a 92-ton weight, and strike with a similar level of force, although Hank Pym theorized that this likely was not her limit.[72] Carol cannot absorb magical energy without consequence, though she aided Dr. Stephen Strange in the defeat of the mystic menace Sir Warren Traveler.[73]
Carol Danvers is also an exceptional espionage agent, pilot, hand-to-hand combatant and markswoman.

Most of them escaped under a primrose bush that was inhabited by goblins, and a python ate the last one.  Thankfully, my folks had see the gators, so they believed me.  After that, though, I had to catch the python.

Weird dream last night.  It was the eve of a zombie apocalypse, and people in my neighborhood didn't know what to do.  I couldn't get home to get my sword, so when the zombies started shuffling toward us, I punched them.  I punched their heads into mush.  Pretty effective.

But, I couldn't just punch zombies all night, so I tried to get home to get my sword.  However, this kid was having a sleepover, and his friend was a zombie and attacked him, and then started toward me.  I ripped the furnace vent cover from the floor and chopped its head in half with it.  Then, I sawed it off and mashed it into mush.  The kid who was attack became a zombie and started toward me, so I jam the grate through its neck and make the zombie into a Pez dispenser.  It falls onto the other zombie, and I finish sawing its head off, and repeatedly chop the head into tiny sections.

Then, I go to find my sword, only to wake up.

not too long ago, around the morning time, i was having a dream about the old house i used to live in 8 years ago, and i was basically just walking around and looking at the house of how i remembered it, but then suddenly my alarm went off in the morning and woke up and shut it off, but then i went back to sleep and amazingly my dream continued from where i left off.  This is freaking crazy because i don't ever remember having this happening before.

has this ever happened to you guys? where your dreams actually continued after waking up and then sleeping again?

It happens to me from time to time.  Basically, what happens is you haven't fully woken up, more have entered a twilight state and was thus able to slip right back into REM sleep.

oh that explains it. btw have you also ever had the control to actually talk in your dream? because a while ago in my dream, i was walking on a street somewhere in England and i said to myself "there is no way that this can be real, i know this is a dream, i'm going to pinch myself", when i pinched myself, i could have sworn that i have actually felt it. My dreams are just way too realistic, i can't even tell if they're real or not anymore lol, but it sucks so much if i have a dream about the car i always wanted, but then i wake up getting so damn pissed >0< , but i guess people would see this and think that i'm a down to earth guy and don't have lots of fantasies and imagination. But i have had dreams about anime characters and such so don't assume i'm a boring guy lol.

Lucid dreaming?  While for many, lucid dreaming may be spontaneous, for others, it's a learned practice.  I lucid dream quite often, and have had several in which I've outright stated that it was a dream and that since it was happening in my head, then it is mine to control.

A bit unnerving, though, when the people who inhabit my own dream tell me flat-out that I "don't own this world.  They do."

As for feeling things in dreams, that's also very common.  I've felt, smelled, and tasted stuff in my dreams.  It is usually drawing from memory for those sensations, as if it's one that you experienced, the sensation will be accurate.  If it's not something you've experienced, the sensation tends to be relatively vague.  For example, recently I was tazed in a dream.  Outside of that, I've never been tazed.  The sensation was a generalized vague pain, with a sharp pain where I was tazed, most likely drawing upon the memory of an allergy test I've had done.

Feeling sensations tends to coincide more with deeper sleep, from what I've seen.  Though, if one has a narcoleptic attack, in which they fall directly into REM sleep, the sensations in whatever brief a dream can be quite vivid.

I had a weird series of dreams last night. 4 of them in total; in each dream, I was lying in bed.

First dream - I'm not completely sure if it was actually a dream or not, but it was raining and thundering outside. I curled up in bed and enjoyed the sounds, as rainy weather puts me to sleep.

Second dream - I was lying in bed when I rolled off the side and landed into these thick, soft orange blankets. I looked up, but all I could see were the blankets above me; like I was in a fort. As I could actually see them, I came to the conclusion that the light was on. Those blankets were extremely comfortable, so I nodded "back to sleep".

Third dream - Still in bed, but I was slightly hovering over it.

Fourth dream - This was the shortest one. I rolled off the bed, but instead of landing in blankets, I simply hit the ground. Then I woke up.

So yeah, this is the first time where I consecutively dreamt about sleeping. Not to mention I usually have about 2 dreams per night.

It was somewhat interesting, but a little boring.

I don't remember much of what I dreamt, but it included a roulette wheel in the square, where going down the right street was a random crap shoot, so it was taking forever to get home.  At some point, we went by a farm, where a farmer was going to shoot a calf because it was a runt, so we stopped to give the man a stern talking-to, and for some reason, I was dressed as a nun because I had come back from a Halloween party.  Well, we left, drove by a lake, and I complained that I wanted to get out of the stupid costume and go home, and there was a blizzard headed our way, and it was 3:30 in the morning and I was dressed as a nun.

What the hell, dream.

I've had multiple dreams involving me in a hospital bed, in a coma.

There are people around me, watching me, I can make their shapes out but not any defining features. I'm free to walk around, as I'm not bound to the body in the bed, but nobody can see or hear me. Like I'm a ghost.

I'm hooked into machines, lots of them, One of them is being monitored by a suspicious looking doctor, I look over at it and see that he's looking at a screen, on the screen is me, in my bed at home. Like he's watching the dream of the me in the coma.

I usually wake up after that. Said dreams have probably been why I've been so in denial about my life.

I don't remember much from last night's dream.

At one point, I was facing off this thug who was twice my size, and I was armed with a three-section staff.  So, I start whipping that staff around like some expert, flourishing and generally looking awesome right into my finishing pose.  I give a sly smirk and say...

Flight was included in last night's dream, along with running on all fours, which is a common occurrence.  Also, jumping from window ledge to window ledge, flying from building to building, and generally avoiding the ground.  Not sure when I fought that thug, but it was at some point either before I got on the train, or after I got off.

QuickEdit:  Oh, I thwarted the power lines!  Just had to remind myself about physics.  I can touch power lines and not be shocked so long as I'm flying, as I'm not serving as a ground for the electricity.  After that, I flew through those damn power lines like they were clothes lines.

So, yes.  Remind yourself simple physics.  It's super-effective. 8D

Has anyone ever dreamt that they were flying through some ersatz Walmart or similar big-box store?  I have those often.  Generally, I end up there because I ducked in for some other reason, and whoever was following me came in, so I take to the... aisles.  This usually pisses off the employees, who then try to chase me down and get me out of the store.  Around that point, I'm generally trolling them.

I once had a dream that my friends and I were on an orbital elevator (similar to MMX8 or Gundam 00) heading to a space station. When we got there, the whole place was fancy. We were walking from one large lobby to another large lobby, while trying to cross there, all of a sudden there was an atk on the 1st lobby we were in. From the way they were attacking they wanted to take down the 1st lobby, it was getting bad real quick, and the lead to 2nd lobby was cut off.

So it was then I powered up (with abilities like the Z Fighters from DBZ 8D ) and one by one I was giving my friends a lift to the 2nd lobby, after I did that they sealed themselves away from harm and it was then I began to focus on the task at hand, blowing up the bad guys. So I headed my there and began to take down the bad guys that looked like Vile. One by one I was taking them out with extreme prejudice and it was then it's leader finally shows itself.

It was very big, and purple (looked like Intro Stage Boss from MMX2. With no verbal exchange what so ever we began to duke it out. For a machine that huge it was moving like a feather weight, fast. For a while it was gaining ground on me but in the end it left itself open for me to be able to deliver a clean shot so it was then I went and delivered the final blow that finally disabled it. I was very tired and went back to my friends, opened up the seal that they were in, saw them then,

DAT DAMN ALARM CLOCK WOKE ME UP. =.="

That's most likely the case.

My sister had serious issues with our dad, since she was very little. After going to see a psychiatrist, she claimed to feel a lot better in the long-run. She also discovered that she had anger she didn't even know she harbored (other than the ones she had towards dad), until the sessions.

As for the anger issues, granted lately, I've been somewhat at odds with my dad, due to some other familial matters, and I'm often discussing the problems with my brother, but apparently it's not helping.  I'm not actively angry, though, I'm confused and frustrated, wondering why he persists to allow these issues to continue.

So, weird dream.  A planet from a neighboring system decides to declare war on another planet for reasons that were unclear.  They had begun this war as a coup for eventual galactic domination, and have been targeting the weaker, peaceful civilizations first.  After decimating one world, they set their sights on another world populated by primitive sentient plants.

The name of the warmongering race bent on expanding their empire?  The Zekrom, a mysterious shape-shifting race of warriors.  They desire slaves and more planets to add to their territory.  May as well throw in resources, as they're targeting primitive races on virgin worlds.

The Zekrom's latest target?  The Trevenant, a peaceful race of sentient trees whose population is divided into tribes.

The Zekrom launch their attack, deploying helicopters on the technologically-primitive Trevenant, firing upon their villages and dousing the populace with an acidic poison.  The species is in a panic, as they cannot seem to hide from the invaders.

One young Trevenant, however, has an idea.  His research claims that the Zekrom are basing their attacks on patterns, and that the Trevenant tribes are situated in such a way as there is a clear delineation between the wilderness and civilization, and the Zekrom are using these patterns as a map for their attacks.  The Trevenant suggests that if they combine with the other tribes and constantly shift their patterns "like the shimmering ocean," then the Zekrom will be unable to formulate a proper attack, as they won't be able to distinguish the Trevenant from the surrounding plant life.

The village elders scoff at the notion and say that the young Trevenant is crazy.  Unable to change or to listen to reason, they submit to their inevitable fate.  However, two explorers believe the young Trevenant and suggest they go to the other tribal leaders and request their help, as well as contact the Republic for aid.

Too bad the dream didn't get much farther beyond that point.  Interesting way to incorporate Pokemon, too.

I had a dream where I had some mystical power to alter places, people, buildings and such. By alter I mean I could change their appearance, personality, the entire thing to something else, or the one I liked best which was changing things back to older versions of them, like I could change my car to a older instance of itself where it was newer or had more gas, I could alter a soda can back to unopened, I could change the layout of a store or the whole store back to something more familiar. I dunno it was kinda neat I guess.

I had some other dream last night, but I forget the details.  I think it involved snow.  Nothing cohesive like that last dream.  I need more dreams with cohesive plotlines.

I really should consider finishing off that Zekrom vs. Trevenant premise and write a short story about it.  There are a lot of missing details, the plot as such is paper-thin, and the Zekrom attack patterns and how to thwart them--while unique--are still very sketchy at best.  Also, I prefer to have an ending figured out before I start writing, so I have a nice map and don't go off in some stupid tangent, never to return.

QuickEdit: Starting to remember more of whatever I dreamt last night.  I think it involved a possessed man who was killing people and at one point, I was trying to repel either him or a ghost with a sheet of glass.  That sheet turned into a part of a wall, and I had to attach it to a train or something.

At some point, I ended up on a train, but in the wrong car, and the cars would disconnect and go to separate locations.  I couldn't get back to the transfer station and get on the right car, and at some point, everyone was denying the existence of a bridge, where I could have gone to catch a different train.  I had to find old transit maps and prove the location, because the maps were changed.

Then something to do with deer and a really deep pond.

I'm apparently the only one who has memorable dreams as of late. :P

So, after the usual series of disjointed events, which included my folks helping me get rid of a former roommate's stuff, they eventually irritated me enough that I ran off.  For some reason or another, we were going to a Japanese restaurant, and I just wanted to get away from them, particularly my mom.  So, I went to a different dining room and was about to join another dinner party that included my brother and his friends.  But, I decided to leave and I went up a flight of steps to this private dining room, where a group of people in business attire were following their leader, who was a member of the yakuza.  And since I had seen him, I had to join their dinner party.

So, we all sit down to eat, and the leader starts talking about a plan to scam the city out of millions of dollars.  He then stops and says that there's a narc in the room.  They eventually zero in on me and I confess that I'm a "junior police officer.". So, they're about to chop off my hand, and I beg for a chance to prove my loyalty.  They decide to have a baseball game indoors, with the dinner party my brother was a part of.

We all become animals, and I'm a long-eared fox who wins the game for the yakuza.  After the other party leaves, we all get down to business, and the leader talks about some convoluted scheme to use a natural disaster to scam the city out of money.  Eventually, the talks end, people leave, and the leader wants to take me on as a protege.

Smash cut to a scene from some teen horror movie, where a dark-haired girl gets on stage and starts talking about the grisly death of some boy.  That boy gets on stage, takes the mic from her, mocks her, and falls off the stage.  The mic was shoved up through his head by the impact and the crowd gasps.  The kid gets up, with part of the mic sticking out of his head and says, "The worst part about this is all the feedback!"

At some point, I'm sneaking through a veterinary office, because one of my Pokemon was taken there.  I eventually find Runaway, with a bandaged head, and Nurse Joy says he suffered a massive head injury and would need to be euthanized because he'd never be the same again.  I yell at her and say that I'm taking him home anyway, because I love my Pokemon no matter what.

Then something about running a pizza parlor and I woke up around that point.

Post by: Quickman on February 03, 2014, 08:44:54 PM
There was some transition from the horror movie to the veterinary office, which basically was me riding in a car while we drove through the countryside.  Not much to note about it, just that we were looking for a certain place, and my half-brother decided to take a different route, as it would be faster.  We went by a ski resort, and then drove through the woods, eventually taking a winding road where I eventually left the car and started infiltrating the veterinary office.  So, it wasn't completely disjointed, I just left out that transition.

There was a slight transition from the second scene to the last one, but it was basically me leaving the building and walking down the street to the pizza parlor where I apparently worked.

As for any transition from yakuza plot to teen horror comedy?  Not much that I can remember.  There was a small plot involving my nephew and a gift shop, and he started getting axe-crazy with a pair of scissors.

I dreamt that I was hanging out with Linkara, and we were discussing a comic that he reviewed and I wrote an article about.  We discussed the less-than-steller art, the Escher Girls, the terrible scripting, and then started talking about another, better comic.  Eventually, the conversation moved to LARPing, and he said he needed to get some costumes.

I told him about a LARP group in Gettysburg, and how they're a part of the Mid-Atlantic LARP Society, and he said he didn't have any characters.  I suggested joining as an NPC, and he said that that was a good idea, but you can't be an NPC forever and would need to make a character.  However, he lamented that no matter how hard you worked on a character, that it would never be good enough, and we both lamented on how groups like that are elitist bastards and how we'll never be "good enough" to join them.

Just... wow.  I am such a nerd.

Double post of weird dream greatness!

So, I was part of this group of rebels who were trying to bring down a Nazi regime in an alternate post-WWII Germany.  During the war, some kid had lost his parents in an air raid, and Nazi scientists captured him and used some clock gadget to steal his soul and turn his grief and anger into a weapon to—you guessed it—take over the world.

OF COURSE!

My rebel faction infiltrates a town and break into a museum, and we descend into the catacombs where the Nazis are holding this kid prisoner.  After finding components to a similar clockwork piece, including the ring of one of our members, the rebel leader decides to build a device to free the stolen souls.

I decide to locate the kid, and I eventually find him.  After talking to him and telling him that lots of people have bad things happen to them, he eventually comes to grips with the situation and decides to just go on with his life.  His soul is freed, though the Nazi captors keep saying that it won't work.  However, the kid gets free and tells his captors that he will not allow them to turn his grief into a weapon.

I then defeat the Nazis by singing the Metallica cover of "Turn the Page."

BOW DOWN TO THE AWESOME POWER OF PSYCHIATRY AND HEAVY METAL

First time sharing, I think.

So, it started with me playing my Pokemon Emerald game. However, the camera angle was like in Gen6. So I was entering the Lilycove Department store, and just as I was about to enter the elevator, a glint of light appeared, and my player character paused for a moment, before entering the elevator.

After exiting the elevator, and exploring the new level, I went back to the elevator, but this time, a legendary battle began. The Pokemon that appeared was nothing I have seen before, but was obviously hacked in since the sprite looked... Out of place with the graphics of Gen3. The name was Hoopa... And looked ghostly, and was lvl50.

I sent out my first Pokemon, which was a lvl100 Sableye. Got him to use Shadow Ball, and it looked like it was super-effective, but it only cut Hoopa's HP by half. Hoops then used some Ghost-type move... And almost killed Sableye. Sableye Shadow Ball'd again, but Hoopa hung on. Hoops then KO'd Sableye with another Ghost-type move.

I then sent out Haunter, which I don't recall having in my team, but was also lvl100. Hoopa was faster, and used a move named TM32, that resembled Hurricane, but after it used the move, it fell asleep. Haunter used Shadow Ball, and managed to crit Hoopa to the red. Hoopa remained asleep, and Haunter KO'd with another Shadow Ball. For some reason, I (as in real me) was shivering throughout the battle, and wanted to KO Hoopa no matter what.

The battle ended, and things seemed normal. However, I can't enter the elevator, saying it broke down. A flight of stairs appeared beside it with an old man sprite blocking it. I talked to the man, and he said, "You battled with it... Follow me."

My player character followed behind automatically into the stairway, and passed by an adult man sprite, which said, "The old man is talking nonsense again."

... And then my alarm rang and I woke up. This was the weirdest dream I had in years.

I had an odd dream last night.  It started out with some kids breaking into an old insane asylum to spraypaint the walls.  Their friend kept watch outside.  So, two of the boys were vandalizing one of the rooms, when the one boy thought he heard something, like a woman speaking.  He looked outside at his friend standing guard and saw a woman in a dark blue dress sitting on the bench next to him.  The boy tried to tell his friend, but then realized that he was hallucinating the entire time and they were not actually vandals, but urban explorers.

They decide to set up camp in a former patient lounge area, and started experiencing weird things, particularly visions of the young woman with dark, stringy hair and the blue dress.  The following morning, they find their friend gone and report what happened.

I join a team of paranormal investigators as a psychic medium who specializes in pendulum dowsing.  So, my team go to the insane asylum and speak with one of the kids and some other people involved with either restoration of the building, or owners and other urban explorers.  I go to one of the rooms where the boys reported strange activity and I take out one of my pendulums and start dowsing.

The pendulum swings wildly out of control and it feels as though something is trying to pull it from my grasp.  I put the pendulum away and call upon another psychic medium, and explain what happened and perform the experiment again, but with a different pendulum, as different stones have different energy.

Again, the pendulum swings wildly out of control, and it's almost torn from my grip by an unseen force.  The other medium witnessed the event and we confer about what could cause it.  We decide that it may have been a demonic entity, and by using the pendulum, I ended up pissing it off.

Of course, that's now the game plan, and we meet with the rest of the team to discuss setting up recording equipment to capture any other activity.  One of the rooms we want to use is off limits due to asbestos.

I don't remember much else beyond that, as I think I woke up around that point to the sound of Mabel about to puke on my bed.

Double-post of weirdness!  I had a weird dream that I must share!

So!  I'm a scientist in hiding from the government, after many of my colleagues turned up "missing" since the development of a nasty new chemical.  I was chief in that development and had designed the formula itself.  My notes were destroyed, but I kept all the information in my brain, and for some reason, my team and I were targeted for elimination due to this project.

As I was hiding out in a group home, I happened upon one of my former colleagues.  We realized that we'd need to go back into hiding because government agents were after us.  He was surprised that despite my handicap (my character had cerebral palsy), I lasted so long after the rest of our team "disappeared."

Then, the owner of the group home realized who we were and attacked us.  He came after me with a garden rake and said that if I don't leave town, he'll kill me because my presence will cause government agents to descend upon the house and flush out other renegades who were hiding there.

So, I leave and eventually join up with another group of political refugees as we're trying to make our way out of town.  The rest of the dream was just a drawn-out chase scene.

Then, the focus shifts to a penal colony where my scientist character was locked up.  An ovoid craft crashed outside the colony, and the prison's staff tried to get inside of it, but couldn't find a door.  So, they cracked open the top of the craft and found a gelatinous green-gray substance covering the interior.  The substance shrank into a large globule once exposed to air, and the dead occupants were found.  The team takes the globule and through whatever plot contrivance, I end up with a fist-size piece of it, which I try to protect from the other inmates.

The inmates know about this stuff and want to eat it because it gives them a high and psychic powers or something.  Another group were possessed by the globule and started creating poisoned versions of it which they planned to use to kill the rest of the general population.

Somehow I end up with one of the guards and he is trying to get information from me about the piece I have.  We happen upon some of the poisoned globules and he's about to touch them and I tell him not to, as they're a potent poison.  Then, a riot breaks out between the possessed inmates, giant cave rats, and the guards, and I'm caught in the middle of the crossfire.

As I lay on the ground, I look to the globule I had and it starts pulsating.  It extrudes tendrils that go into my flesh and come out of my skin in little wormy strings as it covers me in a large green-gray gelatinous mass, which protects me from the riot.

After the riot is controlled, the mass reverts back to its small globule form and I realize that it's alive (sort of) and because I protected it from the rest of the inmates, it decided to protect me from danger.

I try to tell the guards that I know what it is and why it was found in the craft.  It was a shield for the craft and it was trying to protect the occupants of the craft from the crash, but the force was too much.  The guards question how I know this, since knowledge of the craft and its occupants were kept hidden from the inmates.

I don't quite remember the rest, but there you go.  Conspiracy, SCIENCE, the Colour Out of Space on a prison planet, and body horror combined with the power of friendship.

...what the hell did I eat last night?

*Tosses a Phoenix Down*

So, last night I dreamt about some quest or something, and at some point, the characters encountered this mecha wolf thing in a forest.  The whole dream was done in a simplistic chiaroscuro art style.

I thought the mecha wolf thing was pretty neat, so when I woke up, I very quickly sketched it up before the memory of it could fade.  I concentrated on its shapes, and even closed my eyes to eliminate distraction while I drew it.

Here's the crappy speed-sketch.

It's time once again for another one of my Dreams with a Cohesive Narrative!

In a high-rise hotel room, a wealthy young corporate executive meets with his mistress and he murders her.  The act is gruesome, with her body stabbed and gutted so much that the weapon pierced the mattress and she bled through it to the floor below (guess he used a sword).  After luring three other guys in (two friends of his and a pizza-delivery guy), he escaped out the window and got away with it, planting evidence to have his three fall guys be convicted.

I rewind to just after the murder and take over the body of the mistress.  Preventing the man's escape, I keep him locked in the hotel room and force him to order a pizza.  While he does that, I take over the body of housekeeping and make them call the cops and send a security team to the hotel room.  In order to stall for more time, I force the murderer to make a pot of coffee.

The police arrive with the pizza delivery, and I force the murderer to answer the door, threatening to haunt him for the rest of his days if he doesn't turn himself in.  He gets arrested, I drink the coffee, and then bid the police farewell, saying that it was the best cup of coffee ever.  Then, I relinquish control of the body, allow the woman to cross over, and I leave to continue my mission of avenging wrongful death.

Starting to remember more...

The t-rex could talk, and that portion of the dream involved unstable time travel.  Prof went back in time, tamed the t-rex, and brought it back to present day, where he rode it to escape government goons who wanted to find out how he could time-travel.

Oh, and the t-rex could talk.  It didn't have feathers to start with until the science portion of my brain kicked in and retconned that.

And there was a previous story involving two people trying to stop a mad veterinarian from taking over the world with mind-controlled schnauzers.  Those two people could fly because they trained in flying martial arts.

So for once I have a weird dream.

I was in a Z.O.E Obital Frame kind of like a Red Jehuty in space fighting along side some people in Gundams fighting a enemy army protecting this evil Core. I somehow managed to get in to get to the Core but it was in this Mech suit that kind of looked like a freaky fusion of a Green Mech Suit and Metal Face's face from Xenoblade.

I destoryed the Mech suit and revealed the core, this ugly little thing that still had the face but also these constricted pipe tenticles and a weak spot on it's back that looks like a giant Red Rupee.  But the thing escaped and the bugger is too fast for me to catch, though for some reason it looked like a really slow chase scene, or at least Not Jehuty was too slow.  Eventually it gets to Earth, I somehow lose it, and just when I ask for backup, who for some reason went to a museum, I find it again eating some birds.  It sees me and transforms into it's mech form again and wants to absorb me to get stronger, in a voice similar to the aforementioned Metal Face without the Evil Thug British accent, but the dream ends though I hope an epic battle took place.

The only problem I have is that for some reason I was only using my Sword and Shots, particularly abusing the Volley Ball Charge Shot.  Where the hell were my Sub Weapons, I could have used a Homming shot or a Geyser to freeze the Core!  God dammit I was a dumbass in that dream even if I was in Jethuty I sure as hell wasn't using it to its full potential. -AC

No A.D.A too, I was piloting the thing without an AI, somehow.  That sounds badass but honestly that might have been the reason I lost the Core in the first place.

I had a bit of a horrible dream last night. I was babysitting my 3 month old niece, who was giving me a hard time trying to get her out from under the desks, where she might bump her fat head and probably give herself a concussion. But when I held her in my hands, she then suddenly started swelling up, as if she was being irradiated by my hands. Puss and blood was seeping from her, before she eventually croaked.

I still went out of my way to call my sister over, but I didn't want to break the news to her, yet. Next thing I'm all of a sudden concocting some sort of remedy (it looked like I'm just throwing a whole buncha random things into the mixture), to maybe reanimate my niece, with my syringe infused fingers. But all it did was transform her into a lifeless flan, without the caramel.

My sister came in, but then I notice she's holding another baby, which just so happens to look exactly like my niece. It was then I realized, I was probably babysitting a doppelganger of my actual niece, only to be trolled by my sister holding the real one.

Also I just realized my doppelganger niece was capable of speech. How did I not notice something was odd about that?

Wooooo necro double post!

Anywho, so I had this day-in-the-life dream about a disabled Hypno named Wally.  Wally lived on a farm and he was a therapy Pokemon at a retirement home for war veterans.  He got to the retirement home by himself, with help from a friend who would bike to work every day.

At the retirement home, Wally would help out by getting things for the residents and he would listen to their stories.  Everyone loved Wally and he was always happy to sit and listen to the residents.  They would hug and pet him and he would get up bright and early every morning at dawn to go into town and volunteer.

Then, one day... Wally didn't show up.  The residents asked at dinner time where he was, because he was always there every morning before breakfast.  The home administrator said that Wally had died.

I haven't had any interesting dreams lately, sans the FNaF dream.

And I REALLY wanted a continuation of that Superman dream I had last year, but never did. D:

I had a dream that involved Superman flying around and saving the day; you know, his usual routine. But afterwards, an evil doppelganger started to cause havoc and kill people (no, it wasn't Bizarro (http://i.imgur.com/b0xHZ60.jpg) XD).

Superman fought the clone inside of some building, however the clone was much stronger. When some of the townspeople got close to where they were fighting, the clone made a quick escape, likely trying to frame Superman for all the destruction.

Most of the townspeople were convinced Superman had snapped, and somehow they were able to get him to fly down to the Daily Planet. Everyone surrounded him, both angry at him and terrified of him. The people worth noting were Lois, Perry and his best friend, Jimmy.

Lois opened up a fridge which contained a poisonous drink (don't ask me why they would keep poison in a fridge...) Lois demanded that Superman drink the deadly poison, and everyone, in unison, agreed with her and cheered for him to drink it.

Superman tried to explain to them that an evil clone was doing all the killing, but no one believed him. No one except Jimmy.

Jimmy stood in front of the fridge and screamed at the crowd that he believes Superman. After it was clear that no one would listen to reason, Jimmy took the poison and gulped it down. He knew if he killed himself, Superman would break down, thus clearing him of suspicion. Seconds later, he collapses onto the floor. Superman rushes to Jimmy's limp lifeless body and cradles him into his arms.

The dream ends with Superman crying over his dead body, with everyone speechless and walking to his side, trying to comfort him.

... Yeah, it ends there. Right. There.

Needless to say, I was pretty depressed after I woke up. :o

I need closure, dammit! :W

So, Ringman had a Pokemon dream recently.  He said that in it, he and I were hunting Pokemon locally.  They didn't look like cartoons or CGI, but like real animals.  Like heavily-Photoshopped real animals, only freaky because they apparently hit the Uncanny Valley.  Realistic but... weird.  And their calls weren't them saying their names, but realistic interpretations on the in-game calls.  His best description for that was to imagine a parrot mimicking the calls.

Ringman said that the Pokemon didn't stay in their balls all the time, either.  They would usually follow us around, or cling to us in some fashion.  I had a Hoothoot (which he said was a very unsettling creature, being a realistic owl with exaggerated features and one weird leg) that would sit on my shoulder.

He had encountered a Wooper and caught it.  It apparently looked like some slimy blob with what appeared to be a TV aerial through its head, as if it had met with a very unfortunate accident.  The Wooper, after he caught it, sat on his head, and he said he could feel the toes in his hair.

Our travels took us to a sewer, where I was excited to capture a Ratata.  The Ratata were the size of small dogs, with wet fur so deep purple that it looked almost black.  They had gnarly, nasty teeth that Ringman was afraid would take off his fingers, or really hurt his Wooper.  He feared that the Ratata, being sewer-dwellers, would transmit some horrible disease, and "we'd find out how nasty Pokerus really is when I have to take my Wooper to Nurse Joy because it has rabies and is shitting needles, and the PokeCenter makes me pay them through the nose."

Eventually, we go to a cave and find a bunch of Drowzee.  I found a shiny Drowzee, and it was bio-luminescent with translucent pink skin, so you could see its veins and organs.  I apparently caught the Drowzee, and Ringman said that its eyelids were transparent, so even though it had the drooping eyes, in the right light, you could see the entire eyeball and it looked weird.  It was also hairless.

I'll ask him if he remembers any more, but those are the bullet points.

He said he wasn't medicated that night, so meds are not the cause. 8D

Though, we both taught ourselves how to lucid dream at a very early age.  Doubt that has anything to do with it.  And while I'm not sure about Ringman, I have a history of night terrors, which also plagued my dad.  Ringman and I were both somnambulists, too.

Ringman said he remembers a battle or two and that they were unorganized, ugly, brutal, and messy.

And they involved Ratata.

Horrible bite marks and claw marks and oh god why are they ripping out that Wooper's entrails get the [tornado fang] away oh god!

Oh, and the Drowzee cave was before the sewer.  I had caught the shiny, but refused to let it fight a swarm of Ratata with nasty teeth of varying shades of brown.

And at the end, he said I reached under a rock and got burned by something and screamed bloody murder and he woke up, never knowing what I touched.

I said it might've been a Slugma, and he said he doesn't want to know for sure.

Last night, I dreamt that Peridot was serving penitence for her actions by working as a short-order cook in a diner.  Jasper came by and started mocking Peridot and saying things like "How ya enjoying your sentence?" and Peridot just ignored her and kept cooking.

Then, Japser started eating food off the grill and Peridot smacked her away with a spatula.

I'm still trying to figure out Onion.

I was one of the people who thought he could secretly be a Gem, but then he later showed Steven the tape of his birth, which contradicts how Gems are created.

While going through my Facebook for posts to kill off, I found this dream from 2012:

Quote
This is so ridiculous that I must share it.

Last night, I dreamt that someone had snuck up behind me and grabbed my neck. I told them to let go, else I would throw them. They didn't, so I grabbed their arms and flipped them over my shoulders.

I woke up while judo-throwing my pillow.

I had forgotten about that dream.

NEW DREAM

Also, some minor SU spoilers for those not caught up, so hiding it.

[spoiler]So, last night I had a dream that Peridot went nuts and ran away from the Crystal Gems.  Pearl had the police looking for her and one cop did manage to corner her in a donut shop, but Peridot got away, screaming about how she's a traitorous clod.  As she wanders around a city in a daze, she's approached by a scientist who touts his robotics projects and tells Peridot that he can build her new limb enhancers.

Not questioning how this guy knows about those limb enhancers, Peridot follows him to his headquarters, which are located in an old asylum.  All the while, the scientist (whom I JUST NOW REMEMBERED was Dr. Wily) is telling Peridot about his robots and how she could work with him and build more robots.  He shows her his Robot Masters and says how he's currently building a robot of Pearl.

Peridot is intrigued, and she follows him deeper into the lab.  Wily corners her and with the help of Airman and Quickman, he grabs her and straps her down to a table, saying how he's finally got a Gem specimen and he can finally prove if his theories are correct; if Gems are advanced androids.  He tells Peridot that he's gonna open her up and see what makes her tick, and use that knowledge to build his Pearlbot.

So as Peridot is screaming at him to let her go (YOU CLOD) and trying to get away, Wily starts cutting her gem from her head.[/spoiler]

It's weird, I don't often remember my dreams, but I can recall this one as clear as day.

For reasons I cannot adequately explain, I was a Gundam-Pilot-in-Training at a ZAFT Academy. Seem to remember spending most of my time calling Shinn out for being a whiny waste of space.

I dreamt that I was helping a friend with a senior project and they had to sculpt a full-size figure.  So, while they were in class, I sculpted the figure for them so that way it'd be done on time, because they didn't have a lot to spare.

They come back and we're working on the sculpture and I'm balancing the arm because we didn't have an armature for some reason.  We're sculpting the sleeve of the figure when some guy walks by, bumps into us both, and the arm breaks off.

So, my friend is almost in tears and I'm jumping on this guy's [parasitic bomb], threatening to ram that arm straight up his ass, because we worked weeks on that damn thing and it's for a senior project.

Then, my alarm went off.  But yeah, if I'm doing someone else's homework (which I used to do quite often and actually enjoy doing because I'm the nerd you stuff into a locker after a solid wedgie) and some asshat comes by and messes it up, I'll hurt them.

Some highlights of some recent dreams:

I was part of a government agency and investigating a hospital when a zombie virus outbreak occurred.  We barricaded ourselves in a locked ward as infected patients and staff tried to break in.  No one wanted to fight back, but I convinced them to do so as the infected were too far gone.  So, they gave me a rifle and I started blasting zombies.

Last night's dream, I was at a convention or something and was building bat puppets. We were divided into groups and every group wanted me because I could build great animatronic puppets.

Some weird recent dream trend:

School dreams again, though this time not of high school or college, or even a hybrid of the two.  Nope, now I'm dreaming that I'm back in elementary school.  Had several dreams lately where I'm yet again unprepared for class, but instead of some heavy college course, I'm walking into my fifth grade classroom.

Hell, last night, I walked out of my sixth grade class before school ended and just left like it was no big deal.

Haven't had any really profound or plot-heavy dreams for a while.  Last night, though, I dreamt I was beta-testing a Steven Universe fangame I had made.  It was some sort of adventure game and had multiple playable characters.  I was testing a mountainous level and using Peridot at the time.  The graphics had a lot of depth and the controls were really responsive.

Here's the thing, though.  It was an isometric platformer designed to be played on a tablet.

Because I apparently hate players.
