I thought it did.

The nice one is 1.08MB. Damn Photobucket.

The ingame stuff they showed looked pretty awesome.
Wasn't it an early build? They might actually improve the looks further.
-
What they showed with Garret looks final. And it likes fine.
-
Wait, what's his name now?
I heard Barrett, Garrett, Ballet, Pellet, Vallet and all other kinds of variations.
-
The English trailer calls him Barrett, so that's proooobably what you should go by.
And yeah, given that the MML3P is supposed to be released in May, I'd hazard a guess and say that he's finalized.
-
Yeah, sorry, I'm used to calling him Greg.
-
Barrett's cool and all, but I wanna see good ol' Megaman Volnutt/Trigger back in action. Just hoping Barrett won't steal most of the protagonism from Megaman. If that doesn't happen, it's all good in my book. Seriously, flying kicks are awesome. 8D

And when are they not?
*Falcon kicks a Servbot*
-
My problem is the very same, I don't want Volnutt to be replaced. I've waited forever for Legends 3, I hope they don't disappoint me by changing protagonists.

I am pretty sure that Capcom will not make that mistake. I think that Volnutt and Barrett will most likely be chosen in the same way X and Zero were chosen in X4-X6.
-
Looks more like X7.
-
More than likely Barrett will be required until Roll and Tron finish the rocket to get Trigger back, but that ought to still be the early-game.
What I'm curious to know is, with the Bonnes seemingly hovering between sides, and Tron being promoted as relatively equal status with Roll and Aero (both navigators for their respective players), will we be seeing any playable-Bonne action during L3?
-
playable-Bonne action
we're listening...
-
playable-Bonne action during L3?
Hey, they're giving us some motorcycle-riding guy who can perform flying kicks, so who knows? Can't say I wouldn't mind the return of the Gustaff or some other playable Bonne mech. (Maybe in a minigame?)
-
Playable servbots like in the digger missions? owo
-
You know, this could be another case of having to unlock the main character of the series... except instead of said character being a pussy he's just stuck on the moon.
-
Yeah, you'll probably have to unlock the right to use Trigger. At least here there's a good fricken reason that doesn't involve screwing up a characterization horribly.
Stupid X7.
-
They could pull a Devil May Cry 4 as well.
50% Barrett
50% Trigger
-
Or a DMC3 and let you play the whole game as either after you beat it once.
Roll making comments to Trigger about Trigger still being on the moon ensue.

Pretty sure DMC4 had more Nero than Dante (though Nero's missions were shorter, IIRC.)
It'd be interesting if both characters had their own "prequel story" thing, and while Barrett helps with rocket development and stuff, we get a prequel story of Trigger exploring more of Elysium.

Well, it seems Prototype Version is the prequel to the main game. Barrett's playable in Prototype, Volnutt is playable in the main game.
-
Sooo... All this Barret stuff and having to build the rocket is only for the prequel/prototype, while the rest picks up from the rocket either being 10% or with Rock on Elysium? Does Barret have any bearing or relevance to the main story at all? I really wonder.
-
They originally described Aero as being a part of a rival digger team (assuming with Barret) to Rock and Roll. I figure they'll pop up a fair deal.
-
Barret:Trigger::Jane:Rudy
That's my feeling.

I'm sure he does. I doubt they would create a character solely for a prequel scenario, especially given that the "Prototype Version" is rooted in the build that the development team submitted for their green-light meeting. And even if that was the case, why then would they be giving unique abilities to a stand-in?
Barrett's going to be sticking around. He's almost certainly the "censored" character from Aero's early descriptions. So if she's in, he's in.
