Title: Best Online-supported Emulator
Post by: RetroRespecter on December 06, 2010, 05:27:07 PM
There are a few out of many Emulators that are going online nowadays. Whether it be Kaillera or Emulinker, the results are similar. However, there are a select few which are known as best. In your own uninformed opinion, please discuss the best online-supported emulator out there.

Akira and I had some very fun times in Super Mario Kart on ZSnes 1.41 a few days ago. He loved it and wants more. >U<

It helps if you installed LogMeIn HamachiĀ² (https://secure.logmein.com/US/products/hamachi2/download.aspx), so that you get a direct connection with your friends.

Go to Kaillera's Official Site (http://www.kaillera.com/download.php) or this Wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaillera) to see a list of some emulators that works with the plugin.

This isn't emulator-related, but it's good if you have a PSP. ^^

For those who can actually find them in (well-hidden) stores, the XLink Kai adapters that you connect to the USB-port should work for anyone who wants to play PSP games online. (http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/) Yes, including the games that only use Ad Hoc. This also works for Gamecube and PS2 as well. There are Mac drivers to install too. ^^

Oh wait, Amazon has it. (http://www.amazon.com/PLANEX-Wireless-Mini-Adapter-GW-US54Mini2W/dp/B000KN8QMQ/)

Get latest MAMEPPK here. (http://www.emucr.com/search/label/MAMEPPK)

There's a NES emulator called UberNES (http://www.ubernes.com/index.html). Instead of multiplayer, it supports online leaderboards. It can extract your score or speed run time for ~60 games, and upload it to the board. It's something like our Arcade.

Well i would think that the best GBA emulator is VisualBoyAdvance.I play a lot of Megaman Zero games on it including Megaman Zero 1.I downloaded it from doperoms.com but i can't get that Mario advance 4 to work on that...But a lot of the games i have for that emulator work.So yea i love that GBA emulator.Don't judge me.  -_- And i also think that Megaman Zero 3 is the hardest zero game i think.

Uhh... Vixy just showed you a separate build of VisualBoy Advance, that's all.

Seriously, just OPTIONS > EMULATOR > SAVE TYPE, then check that.

Same exact method as in that screencap Vix gave ya.

Ohhhh i see...Sorry sometimes i can totally miss stuff like that...sorry...And i can't hear music and Mario's voice sounds like buzzing rather then a voice...That's kinda weird...

And i also used the one you told me about xnamkcor.I crated the IPS patch but it didn't work.It said:"Generated IPS cannot be used...".Before i used the patch but when i made the thing when i turned the emulator on there was nothing but a white screen.Yup it's true.
