You and I are SO getting online together when 2 comes out.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion DS.
Super Mario Bros. 3. 0v0
I love that game, I'm still collecting the enemy cards XD
I've been unlucky lately though... too many repeated cards -u-'
Ryuusei no Rockman 3 Black Ace
StarFox 64 on the Virtual Console. All I have to say is [tornado fang] the Gamecube Controller & Classic Controller for this game. I miss my N64 Controller with the loose analog stick (from years of playing this) every moment I play this game. XDYeah, it just isn't the same thing, is it? :P
I just did the coolest thing ever on Tooie. I'm using the Super Banjo code because double speed equals crazy delicious, and I got the waterfall Jiggy in Glitter Gulch Mine by simply grabbing the Running Shoes at the start and timing a jump from a nearby platform. I'd have to wait until I had Springy Step Shoes or Clockwork Kazooie normally.
I love this game. :)
Sonic Unleashed 360Lucky. 8D
Well, so far it's as I suspected it would be. The reg. Sonic parts are [tornado fang]ing awesome. The Werehog parts are boring. It's not that they are bad, per se. It's just that I don't want to ever play as the Werehog. I wanna be Sonic running through the levels super fast. But I only played a little bit before bed last night. I'll see more later on.
little big planet has a cuddley cloth stranglehold on me atm.
These games + the ones down under: (http://forum.rockmanpm.com/index.php?topic=46.msg14205#msg14205)
Loco Roco 2 (E) Beta (PSP)
Doukutsu Monogatari/Cave Story (PSP)
Ragnarok Online DS~ (yea, it's out)
...and will be playing Tatsunoko vs Capcom later tonight o.o
whaaaaaaaaaaat nya!?!??!?! :O
thats something else I'll be buying soon then >w<
Currently playing Assassin's Creed for the 4th time. Hopefully this time I'll actually beat the game.
I'm playing the new Prince of Persia. I really love the magic in that game and I'm so addicted to it because I love adventure games where you can always jump everywhere. You can't DIE in that game, there is no GAME OVER screen. 8DQuoted for truth. I just recently got the game myself (this morning, in fact) and barely managed to extricate myself out of the game screen at 15:46hrs now. :P Clocked: About 8 or 9 straight hours of play. XD

Tetris Party!
Seriously, worth every [tornado fang]ing Wii Point. Also, back over 6,000! XD
I command you to play with me sometime tomorrow!
TOO MUCH STUFF TO PLAY! DX
Right now there's Chrono Trigger, RnR3BA, Kingdom Hearts 2, KHRE:COM, MGS3, Castlevania CoM, and after Christmas I'll have to add Tatsunoko VS Capcom, Castlevania Judgment, Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Part, and Wii Fit.
HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO BE ABLE TO PLAY ALL OF THIS?! X_X
Pity it's so short.Only when you're looking for a single ending, out of all 13.
Funny that I'm STILL grinding my Pokemon Pearl...And grinding pays off...

Roselia
What next, what next...
I'm currently playing Maverick Hunter X. (just got it, along with a PSP, for christmas)
Vile mode is shitloads of fun. 8)
Playin' some Super Mario Bros. 3 here and loving it. owo
i r currently playing SSR3for playing that [parasitic bomb] heap? you deserve to be skullfucked by a bear D:

Don't tell me SSR3 wound up being bad...
It's the best of the 3 =/
That's...that's not saying much.
That's...that's not saying much.
Majora's Meh. :Ptake that back you.. you.. double ni*killed*
Started Majora. I love it.
True, Majora's Meh. I couldn't stand the first two hours of gameplay, and I dropped the game for good after forcing myself to halfway finish the first dungeon.
Ok, so I've finally beaten Castlevania Circle of the Moon ([tornado fang]ing 2nd Dracula is so cheap -__-). Now I need advice, should I bother with Harmony of Dissonance Y/N?Yes^54695463582893654*e
Randomly, how did I know instantly that that was you DZ? XDWho else would it be? ::)
Who else would it be? ::)Good question.
Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift (DS)Replaying this for now, seeing as I have nothing else to play.
Ew. FF Tactics + Advance = Massive EW.Well.. at least its better then the first one *shrug*
Ew. FF Tactics + Advance = Massive EW.
While the Tactics Advance for GBA might have been childish and little bit TOO slow at times, it was still ton of fun.Fun? With battle rules? Excuse me?
gonna get meself No More Heroes
Having loads of fun playing Gradius V. I never knew I had potential at being good at side-scrolling shooters.
Been replaying Rosenkreuzstilette again...ive record Tia's playthrough of iris stage 1,2,3,4+final battle without dying at all......in only 16 minutes....wanna upload the video.....but sumhow...boobtube kept giving me errors whenever i wanna upload it....

16 minutes!?
*Looks at 75 minutes time for Sepperin + Iris stages*
Upload limit is 10 minutes.
oh wait...i mean 18 minutes...(whats the difference? :P)The only annoying Sepperin boss was Death himself, beside that, not even Sepperin himself was annoying...
i recorded iris stage only....not Sepperin....Sepperin's and his fortress bosses are a lot more annoying than Iris herself....
ps:i found iris stages password by accident when i was messin with the password option 8D
but i found someone who upload his video that is more than 10 minutes...cant remember what or when though....
I forgot to say that, yesterday I played these games on a demo stand in a game store.
* Mirror's Edge (PS3)
* Dragonball Z Burst Limit (360)
* Kung Fu Panda (360)
And (gasp) I had fun playing them~ >U<
The cutscenes in Dragonball Z was silly tho. The characters over-reacts a lot, their emotions were kinda stiff and the actors were kinda the same too, not so much emotions on there... just like in animes. 8D </wii>
I'm playing Wind Waker and slightly disappointed because I won't be able to get all the fancy models of the Nintendo Gallery. I didn't even know about it until hours ago, and now I can't go back to Pictograph some characters. It's not so bad because I wouldn't ever complete it anyway, as I would need the GBA connection for a picture that I can't recall right now.
GRIND
[sonic slicer]
Except, I'm not overly excited about it, like some people. >_>LOL >.>;
- Kirby's Dream Land 3
I can't stop playing God Hand. This thing is cocaine.
I went back to Disgaea 1 after finishing Disgaea 2... it's really hard to pick something up from the middle again after you've been focused on something else for so long. I might start over but I'm halfway through my second cycle.if you're halfway, lose to midboss next you see him D:
I got back into playing it. I'm playing it now and abusing the crap out of the chihuahua races to get me some money ><
Is that the easiest way to rack up money? I do need some for health upgrades and moves...
I just beat Stage 3.
Punch-Out!! (NES - VC)Now go play Super Punch-Out!! and try to even MAKE it to Nick Bruiser. :P
Oh. My. God. As a late bloomer into this series, I now know why there is such a huge and rabid fanbase for these games. This [parasitic bomb] is gaming cocaine pure and simple. The rhythm boxing is addictive and excellent.
Needless to say, my frothing demand for Punch-Out Wii has shot up 1000 fold. XD
Final Fantasy IV (DS)Which reminds me I still have to play mine. I'm only on the second playthrough.
I can't believe I'm playing Runescape now.Oh god. I stopped playing that shitfest years ago.
Dragon Ball Evolution on PSP! >U<Oh, oh!
Finished Silent Hill: Origins (okay game) and finished RE1 Director's Cut for the ~800th time. Game's tough on Advanced, damn. Didn't help that I chose to ignore the Grenade Launcher. :DGood taste, man, good taste. :D Now try finishing it with Chris ignoring any items from the Small Keys drawers, unless they're Key Items. :D

Pokemon Platinum~~~
~ At the Moment : 1/8 Gym Badges , and all pokemon are level 100 , as they were transfered from my ultimate daimond that has 17 days of play on it
By any chance you have an Action Replay DS on you? That seems crazy, because Pokemon doesn't work that way (1 Badge - Lv20 and above will obey, 2 badges - Lv30 and above will obey, 3 badges - Lv40 and above will obey, etc).
Damnit! Where are you guys getting Double team from? I haven't been able to find that ANYWHERE. :|
Still playing BN2, getting [tornado fang]ing tired of fighting MagnetMan and getting only a 7 or 5 Busting Level, JUST GIVE ME GOOD CHIPS! >_<
Playing Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Holy ****, is this game perfect.
Totally.
I actually finished it in one sitting. Freakin' epic game.
Too bad I suck at Blue Sphere, so I only got 5 of the second half Emeralds. On the first half I got 'em all by Marble Garden, which was awesome!
before the end of Hydrocity Zone Act 2
All Super Emeralds in Mushroom Hill Zone only. 8D
Because its harder to find those emeralds later on other stages? All Super Emeralds in Mushroom Hill Zone only. 8D
Why bother, when there are more opportunities later on?
You should try hard mode.
Hard Mode - Get all 7 Chaos Emeralds before the end of Hydrocity Zone Act 2 & All Super Emeralds in Mushroom Hill Zone only. 8D
That's Hard Mode? Pffft. >_>

Dude after Pokemon Explorers of Sky comes out theyre Re-making Gold + Silver for the nintendo DS :O
IIIII CCAAANNNTTT WAAAIIIITTT XD
DUSK GOLD FTW!! 0v0 I originally had gold...so im getting duskGold as a tribute to my typhlosion...and Espeon ( The names of the games are Dusk Gold and Dawn Silver )
Okay the facts are simple about pokemon G/S/C remake
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERJS3hcK3qw (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERJS3hcK3qw)
First , they remade Red and Green , So gold and silver Probobly will be next
They need something 'new' after explorers of sky , without making a million more pokemon , so whynot make a remake of G/S
It seems clear to me ,G/S Remake!!!! :)
**** Gold was better then any other pokemon game i played , even better then daimond/pearl/platinum***

Currently playing through Mega Man Battle Network 6 Falzar for the very first time, yeah. I spend years trying to find this game in The Netherlands.
Other than that, I am slowly playing through Okami, taking my time and lastly I have started to play Battletoads on the NES, to see if I can beat it.

In Emerald, yes, a glass statue of a Pidgeot after winning all 5 Master rank contests.
I have it in my Secret Base, so I know. XD
Pokemon Platinum?
What is that thing?
8D LOL
I'm doing the same as Aroduc and waiting before doing any kind of further work in the translation for Werk to finish releasing the patches that break the whole game and a half they got into when releasing the Perfect Edition. This also includes playing the epilogue, and New Game+.
I think I'd rather actually BEAT the game before even trying Perfect Edition, since that's still being waited on too.Dude, Perfect Edition is merely a content patch that inserts new stuff (2 characters, at least one level, according to my info) into the game, not a completely new game. What rock have you been hiding under lately regarding this game?
Chapter 13 complete, 13 Battle Masteries, Excalibur, [tornado fang] yeah. 8U
Lovely sarcasm is lovely. XDBut... I loved Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald (Hoenn)... O^O
But Akira kinda has a point. Green/Red/Blue/Yellow (Kanto) and Gold/Silver/Crystal (Johto) for the win! ^^

You make it sound like I follow BMW info. You don't? Your loss. Epic game, really.
I only JUST got into the game. |:Read above.
And I'd also rather play it translated. It's been fully translated for a while, except for the new content introduced in the Perfect Edition patch which Aro gave up on for the time being waiting for Werk to fix all the game-crashing snafus they left in the game. -_-
Also, woo, RoSHIaKI stage, all Masteries so far. D:Whoa, nice going. :)

Yeah, that's what I was referring to when I said I'd rather play it translated.Try getting Mecha Hisui. :P The maids need to have an added total of at least 45 kills for it. :O
Thanks, but it'd be nice if someone had told me I had to defeat Sacchin twice with Shiki so she'd join my party, BEFORE the factory stage. That way, I wouldn't be having to tail her all around the damn RoSHIaKI stage. >_>
Try getting Mecha Hisui. :P The maids need to have an added total of at least 45 kills for it. :O
Try getting Mecha Hisui. :P The maids need to have an added total of at least 45 kills for it. :OSRW Alpha 3, Hi Nu Gundam, Bright and Amuro must have 120+ kills by a certain stage(forgot which) D:
Yes. Tohno should strike the killing attack to Sacchin in at least two of the three battles you fight against her. Once she's unlocked, you can use her permanently, and as far as I'm informed, she also becomes available in the opposite route (same happens to Mech Hisui and the other route), so you'd basically need two whole playthroughs to have both secret characters available in a single game.
Oh, alright then. When does she become permanently added to my team though? I'm now at the level where both Shiki's and Touko fight off a few enemies. She gets added to your group after your last fight against her, which, if I remember correctly, is the fight against Nanaya.

BMW Status: Level 33, all masteries so far.Somehow, you need to get Lancer's and Archer's Will up real fast; if you do and can cast their AOE attacks (UBW and, if memory serves, Gae Bolg), they'll clean up with True Assassin and, depending on the angle and location, even some of the Angra Mainyu shadows. But you gotta keep a safe distance to be able to make it to the exit quick enough. Trust me, getting this mastery took me DAYS of planning ahead.

Sonic HeroesYou're nuts. Shadow may not be prime material, but it beats the SH*#! out of Heroes.
meh, it's ok, still better than Sonic '06 and that unmentionable spin-off that's about that other hedgehog
You're nuts. Shadow may not be prime material, but it beats the SH*#! out of Heroes.
But we'll see if you say the same thing after realizing you have to play the exact same game four times over to unlock the Last Story (not that Shadow was very forgiving either with that final boss fork, but at least there's some decent stage variance).
You're nuts. Shadow may not be prime material, but it beats the SH*#! out of Heroes.Never said I wasn't nuts. Anyways, after playing through it, I'll admit it's not rediculously-bad like i.e. Zelda CD-i, just "bad", and is frankly, where things really started going downhill (for the 3D games anyways, I still love Sonic Rush)
Shadow let you use omochao as a weapon.
I just like Chaos Controlling through the Last Stage. If it wasn't for the damn mission system making you unable to risk skipping targets nine times out of ten, that ability would have made the game so much more awesome. It would have also been nice if they hadn't made it the same button as the one used to drop weapons, that's another thing, I find the controls a bit sloppy, and Shadow's running seems really "drunk" at times
Heh, when I did that I didn't even have an SP. I had my crapass original GBA.What's wrong with an original GBA? D:
Heh, when I did that I didn't even have an SP. I had my crapass original GBA.

What's wrong with an original GBA? D:Nothing, if the shoulder buttons worked, the screen wasn't scratched to hell, and the clip to the battery cover wasn't held together by plastic cement
Playing the Knights in the Nightmare
it was teeedious..
I just made a CD factory and slashed away with Bowser, but it was teeedious... I kept changing the music of the stage so at least I'd have something different going on there. :PI ought to send you my factory sometime. I make alcoves in a pit so as to allow three other characters to blow Hot Curry breath at all the Sandbags in a Special brawl. Really speeds things up. Still tedious, but less so.
Dove into Super Mario Galaxy again. And I gotta say, I'm happy with the fact that it's keeping a faster pace than its predecessors. The next "enemy base" is around the corner before you know it (and man, that SM64 Bowser Stage remix was awesome).

I rememebr I once saw a Used a megaman starforce 3, the SAME day it came out. hope im lucky enough to find a copy around here thats worth my price range.
1 credit clear!
7 hasn't aged well.I completely agree with that. I still have a hard time understanding why it's the most popular Final Fantasy game.
at all.
I love you~ *hug* >U<I'm loved!
I completely agree with that. I still have a hard time understanding why it's the most popular Final Fantasy game.I remember it was something about it being in 3D, or maybe it was Aerith dying, give it a rest, shes dead, cant revive her cant do anything, plus it doesent matter, shes been dead for years and people are still crying about it.
The other day I tried Super Mario RPG.They are so much easier in the normal games, jump on the blocks they are standing on and 400!
I died against a Hammer Bro. Thrice.
It's the "Twilight" of video games, let's go with that. *awaits fanrage* :/Advent children was....a movie...I watched it yeah, it was alright but too much "WHERE IS MOTHER?! LOOK BROTHER I FOUND MOTHER!" And crap like that, and cloud fights with one sword that turns into the shape of the sword he starts out with, which means he has downgraded his weaponry. I guess your wrong.
It's the "Twilight" of video games, let's go with that. *awaits fanrage* :/the only problem with FF7 is it's gameplay, and [parasitic bomb] translation, other than that it's fine.

Tell me about the gameplay, I remember the battles being sssllooowww.
The other day I tried Super Mario RPG.man, that only happened to me once. keep goin.
I died against a Hammer Bro. Thrice.
Disgaea DS. I wonder why people like this game so much.*shrug* I have no idea why people like it so much. I like it because of the story and multiple endings. Of course, that's just me.
Disgaea DS. I wonder why people like this game so much.the DS port is the worst version
Just got the VC version of Majora's Mask. Hopefully I'll enjoy it more than last time since I'm using an actual controller now.
I'm using Collector's Edition, since I have a GC, not a Wii.I'm using a GameCube controller anyways. The only real reason I got a Classic Controller was so I could play DKC properly (B to jump and Y to run works terriblly with a GC controller)

Getting back on DKC 3 GBA (really a shitty port, need to find the original rom.), Just finishing Mekanos, Low G Labyrinth was a fun level in Mekanos. It's moreso a remake than a port as there's a fair few changes, and a new world.
I'm doing a 100% run on Super Mario Bros. 3, at Ice Land now.
I triggered the treasure ship, which must have happened... twice in my life time.
New Super Mario Bros 3
I was playing Trauma Center too, but god damn, never before has a single level made me want to stop playing so badly.Oh, doctor. You're having fun saving people's lives are you?
Spirit Tracks
Haven't gotten very far, since I first had to patch it and and various other things
EDIT: and now I'm playing Super Castlevania IV.
I've never played a Castlevania game before, but I'm quite enjoying it.
Purple coins. I thought they were cool 'cuz they were introduced at the same time as flying. Then I played the other stages... O:<
This great game called Microsoft Word... You start the game by double clicking on the W icon and then filling up the blank "stages" with 15 pages of bullshit. WHAT FUN!Another great game. It is called 'Microsoft Excel'. Fill up the cells with random scores and add it all together at the last cell. (Which will take forever)
I'm playing 'Notepad'. 8DGreatest and most fun game ever.
vague memories of a battle... on top of the airship? Is that real?Yes, and you were pretty close to the end at that point. You battle on top of the Flutter after opening the Main Gate.
Castle of Shikigami 3
its just not hard at all. (unlike 2.)2? hard?

Phantasy Star Portable 2 online. (yes, I'm playing)You lucky person you, the first one dind't even have online, only ad-hoc ;O;
Battle mode is a pure bliss!
Especially with friends XD
^That sounds harder than simply giving your friend code to others, but the thing I like about the portable and universe series is the adjustment of height and muscularity, or rack for female characters....<.<
^
Well, while the second one featured a real online. (PSN account needed)
You have to buy the real copy to get the license code that need to be register.
I also heard from someone that using CFW to play the online mode will result in a banhammer. Even you bought a legit copy.
I don't confirm this but I wouldn't want to try that by myself.
Plenty of battle mode runs today.
My battle rank moved from D to C.
I'm currently playing:
1.Ys - Oath in Felghana (for PC)
2.Puyo Puyo 15th Anniversary (LOL PC)
Both just started. I'm doing first playthrough of Puyo on easy, and then I'm going for normal difficulty... and then higher. I seriously suck at this game, but I can't help but love it.
As for Ys... WHERE THE [tornado fang] HAS THIS BEEN?! WHY HAVE I NOT FOUND THIS BEFORE?! FFFFFFFFFFF...
Team Fortress 2..and a bit of MM8 while I was waiting for the game to update (took 6 hours)
Been in a Final Fantasy mood hereWhatever you do, in Dissidia, get your character to at least level 54 before shade impulse, if you haven't already beaten the game of course.
-Dissidia Final Fantasy
-Final Fantasy IV DS
-Final Fantasy VII on the PSP (first time ever playing it)
Cooking Mama!
Me and my school chums have been playing "The Game". The rules to it are simple:(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v171/HitomiNeko/4609d09a.jpg)
-If you think of The Game, you lose
-If you lose, you must declare your loss aloud to everyone around you (which in turn makes them lose)
...
I lost the game. Oh and, other than that, I've been playing Prime Trilogy again.
all of the games are good in their special way.
Man, you've got UFO under your name. EoSD is nothing compared to UFO.Despite the avatar(s), I have yet to actually play UFO. I just like Kogasa is all.
Yeah, and UFO's way is being hard as [tornado fang]. I can 1cc hard in every other game, no problems, but UFO is just impossible. [parasitic bomb]'s ridiculous.well,i thought UFO is slightly easy than other touhou shumps...
Okay so well I just tried again and 1cc'd UFO hard with no problems so I guess I'm just an idiot then!
YOU BETTER LIKE THE MUSIC! A LOT OF REMIXERS WORKED ON THAT SOUNDTRACK!You talking to me hon? Of course I do. The original Super Turbo one still stands out more though. Beat wise.
EoSD is nothing compared to Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu
I fail at 1CCing EoSD
I fail at 1CCing PCB
I fail at 1CCing MoF
I fail at 1CCing SA(FARK,tis one ish uber hard even at normal, often got KO'd at stage 3)
I fail at UFO extra stage(FARK u randomly flying collectable UFO's!!)
Any Problem? ... Remember ,Touhou games are based on CAVE gamesHaha, no, ZUN made them because he found cave shooters to be terrible.
Haha, no, ZUN made them because he found cave shooters to be terrible.
well,i thought UFO is slightly easy than other touhou shumps...
What difficulty we talking about? On easy/normal I agree, 'cause it gives you like a billion lives without being too difficult, but half the cards on hard are just crazy. I mean, I'd like to get past level 2 before I need to start bombing, but stuff like Kogasa's second last just ruins me.on hard and lunatic....i cant go on beyond level 2 or 3.....and yeah kogasa's 2 last cards kills me often...
on hard and lunatic....i cant go on beyond level 2 or 3.....
After a few months, playing Pokemon Platinum again.
All thanks to the Shiny Pichu I got through Mystery Gift. :3

Beat Mega Man 10 on Normal. Too lazy to care about getting ranked or playing on Hard Mode. Next on my list:You do know MegaMan 10 on "Hard" mode actually is the real normal right? ^^ I found out after completing the first two settings. :)
I'm so glad someone else likes the game too,I filled all the saves with three different races. The first one is a female ranger, the second one is a male cast swordsman and the third one is a male newman mage.
What class did you pick?

My friend The Sky Fish got Brawl on launch; he still doesn't have all the stickers and trophies...Oh yes, the fight between Dracula and Richter Blemont. The dark preist named "Shaft" after his defeat, he hid himself inside and took control over Richter and Castlevania rose from the mist, and Alucard comes in.
As for Rondo of Blood, now you'll know the full backstory of SotN, or something... yeah...

It's brilliant, isn't it?
My friend, If you thought Dulahan was hard then you should wait for what Shaft has in store for you.. and don´t forget Death
I take it this Shaft won't be sporting shades and a pimped out long coat, will he? Regardless of the game's difficulty, I'm really enjoying Rondo of Blood. Was well worth the 900 points.I can give you 4 hints: Bat wings, snake tail, bandages, neck screws

Contra 4. It's difficult... and the challenges are devious... but great!Yay! Another Contra fan that enjoys a challenge. ^^ Bought two copies only because Hard mode requires 2 people and I want to complete it 100%. lol. Love playing as the other characters.
I really got to stop buying games If I'm not going to play them, but hardly anytime for them now with work. Not like before in high school. Miss those golden days.
Lunar Knights.Nice!
Classic Dungeon for the PSP (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5ZPTqkUkg0)FINALLY, Nippon Ichi makes something besides the same old tired Disgaea drivel. It was starting to get kind of annoying.
You play as this every-day soon-to-become hero called Soma who just explored a cave with his friend Pudding. They later visit an open-field island where they meet the white hair magic girl Deathpina.
It does look like a dungeon crawler at first, but it doesn't lock you to grids at all. It's completely free-roaming and you can also jump and slash with your weapon without any wait in-between attacks. You can at anytime switch between Modern and Retro style music in the Settings.
The humor and visual style of the game is similar to Half Minute Hero and 3D Dot Heroes. Since it's made by Nippon Ichi, it has a bit Disgaea things here and there. The game also has a edit mode similar to 3D Dot Heroes, where you can create any kind of character you like. ^^
The song between 1:15 and 2:14 in the trailer... O^O
The ocarina/flute tunes makes my heart warm and happy~ >oo<
CASTLEVANIA...Yep, I still can´t beat Deathwhich one the one in symphony of the night?
which one the one in symphony of the night? If you read CASTLEVANIA and there is nothing after it..then it means THE FIRST Castlevania! And the SotN Death is one of his easiest incarnations

Mega Man X8 (PC)
WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE COMMAND MISSION FOR PC? ARRGGHH!!
Kinda hard when you don't have a job or a TV. >_>Save every penny you come across, etc.
And that was a rhetorical question.
I am relaxed... mostly. Stress mainly.I hear ya. I'm working 6 days a week for three weeks now at 12 hour shifts so I can definitely relate. *shrug* Hence why I've been mia.
flagjp Xenoblade (Wii)Is it as "WALKING GAME: THE WALKENING" as everyone makes it out to be?
Yes, you can walk freely around the different colonies in the game, until you press Z button to "target" nearby enemies. No, what I meant was, does the game deserve all the criticism it's getting for the characters having to walk endlessly all the time? There seemed to be quite alot of distance to cover in the gameplay I've seen, with a few enemies to be fought.
Then you press A close to it to start fighting. ^^
I will live stream it tomorrow I think. o.o;
I don't know anything about the criticism or opinions the game gets from people...Does the game have anything similar to Fast Travel? And when I meant walking alot, was that there's a big distance between objectives, with few enemies to fight. It's at least what I've seen in videos. Comparable to say... Oblivion. If you've played it, the game features an entire continent of scenery, but it gets kinda frustrating to always keep traversing it, with few enemies along the way, although there are plenty of landmarks. Xenoblade seems to have quite alot of open world, tons of walking to do in it, with just a few enemies to fight along the way. Huge cities as well. So without a form of fast travel, the game might get a bit boring as you go on.
I like the game, I don't see anything wrong with it (yet). ^^;
You are the one that decides if you want to do the "Walking Game: The Walkening", or fight enemies.
If you don't press Z to target enemies, you can run around in the open field and be amazed at the beauty of the game.
There's also a arrow icon at the very top of the screen that shows you where to go next.
A number will go lower and lower the closer you get to your next destination. ^^;
When you fight, you can pick between the spells and attack moves you have with the D-pad and use with the A button.
They will recharge for a bit after you use them, so in the meantime, you can do regular attacks with A button. Jump with B button. xD
Um well, as you saw at the very end of the video, it does have Fast Travel from the Map in your menu.Ah, cool. Well, the game does seem nice, and if it's got good sidequests, I might get it. It seems like some kind of japanese Oblivion.
You access the menu with the - button and then select the Map icon (Save/Load is on the right side of the menu).
This is more or less how the game is, I'm afraid, but it's still a beautiful game. ^^
KOF 2002 ^^
Finally bothered todownloadget Undefined Fantastic Object. Most fun I've had in a while, but I can't beat Unzan ._.
Whoa, that doesn't sound right. Everything I've heard about this game was bitching about how bad it is. But then again, most Touhoufags are /v/irigins anyways so. 8DI think they hang out more around /jp/. All of it is Touhou sometimes.
Rockman EXE WS
Snake Man, WWW or Gospel's stage? ^^;
Oh, right... Play Legends now.Trying to. Jesus, these controls are awful.
Trying to. Jesus, these controls are awful.
Can't you tweak them?Playing the PC version, mapped to a controller. For some reason, I don't seem to be able to strafe.
Hmm... I don't know about the PC version's controls...Pressing the lock-on and the movement button at the same time doesn't seem to move the character. Is that normal?
Playing the PC version, mapped to a controller. For some reason, I don't seem to be able to strafe.
Odd, you should be able to IIRC. Even playing the PSX version on the PSP I remember being able to do it even if it was damn uncomfortable due to lack of L2/R2 >_>Dunno what's up. What I played of the game, it wasn't incredibly exciting.
The start of it is pretty lackluster...And from what I've seen, repetitive dungeoning continues.
Megaman X6...Extreme mode.....gawd...Metal Shark Player's Stage was insane with those nightmare viruses around.....

Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing. I already unlocked everything and know all the courses upside down. But I keep playing it. WHY DO I LOVE IT SO MUCH ;_;Because it's a bright and shiny racing game reminiscent of Diddy Kong Racing?

Time for Touhou 9!<3
Also, some Challenger from the Future when I feel like it, and Rockman.EXE WS.Try asking Gaia if you haven't already. IIRC he's managed to get one working
Once I get the damn emulator to configure correctly.
Oh, it works. But I'm trying to get it to work with my GCN controller.Ah. Good luck then.

Why didn't anyone tell me this game was fun?

Touhou 10. Just to see what the fad is all about...now I officially see bullets everywhere.Welcome to Bullet Hell 8D
I just popped in Shadow the Hedgehog out of curiosity, just to see if it's as bad as I remember it.
...whoa, it's actually worse.
Ah, i remember when i first bought my copy. Played the game for about 3 days and literally put it up for auction the next. Never bothered to finish it. I really wonder why i even bought it in the first place... >_>I pirated it, played two endings and halfway to a third. Gave up in that [tornado fang]ing bomb mission and just cursed having wasted a brand new DVD-R in that [parasitic bomb].
...today, I bought it again for Gaming Shitfest '10. It's a party a few friends and I do every year. We each bring a game which is complete crap, randomize selection between all. Whoever lasts the longest with one of those games, wins the whole set of horrible games to take home. It's awesome. We've been doing this for three years.I want a piece of that action
I want a piece of that actionThen you gotta gamble your copy of Big Rigs. =P
Touhou 12.8
Ooh Ooh! How's the music?! *o*See for yourself. (http://www.youtube.com/redtails#g/u) (that's all the tracks by the way)
Super Metroid and Yoshi's Island. Killed my finances for a week for buying them, but it's been worth it. I'm enjoying Super Metroid more than Yoshi's Island which I didn't expect.
And a level at a time in New Super Mario Bros. during study brakes.
How much did you buy them for?
NZD

Maverick Hunter X
...is it just me,or the psp version is just a lot more freakin easy than the Snes version?
Even got all the Poe Souls?
Yeesh, could've wasted your time on a better Zelda game.
Probably still playing whatever I posted in here last time.
What are you talking about? Pretty much the top two are Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess according to 70% of the internet.Considering a majority of fans I've seen like OoT the most, and TP was just made to satisfy them, I'm not too surprised.
Considering a majority of fans I've seen like OoT the most, and TP was just made to satisfy them, I'm not too surprised.
Hm. Because most of the fan-made reviews I've read say that it is about the same level as OoT.Excatly. They wanted another game like OoT, and they got one, thus they praise it highly.
Majora's Mask is better.I still prefer LttP, tMC, and FSA more than the other ones, but that's just me.
Excatly. They wanted another game like OoT, and they got one, thus they praise it highly.

but the storyline and such was pretty cliché. WHOOPS, GANON TOOK OVER THE WORLD AND NOW LINK HAS TO GO FIND SOME SAGES OR WATEVER THEN ROFLPWN GANON AND YAY THE WORLD IS SAVE AND NOW FOR THE SAPPY ENDING.
Who cares honestly, I don't see how that's important. Agreed, on the "Majora's is better" point.
Re:TP
I thought the internet hated it BECAUSE they gave them what they asked for (OoT 2.0).
Took me a good 16 years, but I finally beat Donkey Kong Country with 101%. Finally completely beat the first Video Game I ever played. (I've beaten it before, just not with a perfect percentage.)
Did it on the GBA within a period of 2 days.
The SNES version is more fun... no Minigames and collecting pictures. Plus the graphics look better and less washed out.
And seriously, its the first game I ever OWNED. (Came with the SNES in '94. I was only a year old, But I learned how to play Video games that way, no starting on crummy easy games for me. Started with something that was a decent challenge at the time.)
Don't brag about beating a game faster than someone else, Giga, especially when the version you is different. It's rude.
And yeah, I had trouble with that one too, Kallen. Took me forever to find that last bonus in Forest Frenzy. :P
Aye. I agree. I remember DKC 2 on the Snes. Good times. Good times.
So if I was able to beat DKC2 in a day (while live streaming), is that a bad thing?
Oh [tornado fang] you battery back-up. You Delete my 101% Save but leave the 2 Player Team at 23% Save on there? What the [tornado fang]?
I'm also attempting my "Speed Run" in Rockman Zero Collection, too!
Been there, done that.
Sucked at it.
not really...
manage to beat the all four series in 4 hour...
(not my personal best records...)
Playing me some Other M.X-Play completely thrashed that game.
X-Play completely thrashed that game.Game's fine. Funnily enough, I've encountered ZERO technical problems, ZERO fluidity problems, and ZERO gameplay issues. But somehow, it's horrible because it doesn't correspond people's initial vision. Screw that.
X-Play
X-Play completely thrashed that game.
Saw the video. Besides, X-Play trashes everything though.
X-Play just focuses on the hosts being dumb. They even gave Halo a bad grade just because they got butthurt during the story mode and dying a lot.
So X-Play sucks now? (Not having G4TV will do that to ya) I got butt-aches from Bunny Must Die lots of times, but I won't call it a bad game. The only butt-aches that's never worth playing from experience are Sonic '06 and Melon Squash!, and those games were effin' terrible. What problem did you have with Fallout 3 exactly? I've been all over that game on the 360, and never had any trouble with it.
Well, I was playing Fallout 3 on the 360, but damn game keep [tornado fang]ing up during loading a crushes. Worst part is that I can't do a thing about it and it was during a quest that was going to advance the plot. So now I refuse to play it play it anymore it. 20+ hours and the game decides to screw me over there's not a thing I do about it unless I start over from the very beginning in hopes it won't [tornado fang] up again. [tornado fang] that, I'm going back to Tales of Vesperia. >_>
I was in the middle of the main story quest... I'll put a spoiler label just so I won't spoil anything for anyone who hasn't played it.That quest generally presents a few bugs, but it's not that bad.
[spoiler]It in the quest where I have to help my father with Project Purity, at the point where the Enclave shows up to steal the project. After the guy killed one of the scientists and my kills them with a high does of radiation. At this point, I am suppose to follow Dr. Li out of the Jefferson Memorial. But this is where I have a problem: the moment I walk out the door, the game freezes during loading. I tried pressing the Xbox dashboard button to see it was taking a long time to load; turns out the game crushes at this point.[/spoiler]
Long story short, the game f*cks up during loading when I enter the next room to continue in my quest. I dunno if it has to do with the disc being scratched up, because my brother borrowed from a friend of his who has a 360, and the disc is really scratched up, though it seems to be a very likely case. But all I know is that I am (probably) not going to waste another 20+ hours to get back where I was when the game began to f*ck up out of sheer frustration.
That quest generally presents a few bugs, but it's not that bad.
...is your 360 connected online? Have you been installing the proper bug-fixing patches?
I don't have Xbox Live at all (besides, the 360 is actually my older brothers and its the old fat white 360), and my family isn't going to buy a subscription to it anytime soon. ):Um... you don't need to pay for a subscription for a Silver account, which lets you do pretty much everything except play multiplayer games online.
Um... you don't need to pay for a subscription for a Silver account, which lets you do pretty much everything except play multiplayer games online.
Just connect your 360 online and play Fallout 3. A message will pop up, and install a patch. It should clear the problems you got with it.
My brother actually tried getting online but he couldn't get on. I dunno what he did wrong, but I doubt I can get a cable or a wireless router for the console going. But it doesn't matter that much anymore since my brother is going to return Fallout 3 to his friend sometime soon.Just disconnect your computer internet cable temporarily and connect it to the 360. It's not brain science, and the 360 automatically connects online with ease. Download the patch and be done with it. Seriously, the 360 and the PS3 must be connected online once in awhile, or you're gonna miss out on updates, demos, and a ton of patches which keep popping up.
At this moment I've been playing Tatsunoko VS Capcom : Ultimate All Stars. Been searching for opponents, tho I haven'T found a thread for this, if anyone is up for a game please lemme know! ;)Looking at your list, would you care to test your prowess on Super Turbo, Super IV , or some Tekken? Hopefully connection our connection is good.
I did play Mario Strikers Charged a bit the last couple days. It's probably the hardest Mario sports game ever invented. ::)
Normal Super Mario Bros.

I played Dirt 2 for PSP. Physics were awful.Yeah, the PSP's GT was damn awful. Failing to understand that GT's main thing was to have the very best graphics and physics, portraying reality for that time was the studio's downfall. You don't downgrade a series that's about realism.
I wouldn't count DiRT as Rally, but Off-Road Mixed Vehicles
The Physics are superb in WRC for PSP.
I don't know about the console version of Dirt 1 or 2.
WRC seems the be the standard for Rally now.
If you're looking for a console game...

As for PSP, don't get GT. It's soul crushingly boring.

Halo: ReachHow are the new vehicles?
TIME FOR SOME NEW JEEP ACTION!
How are the new vehicles?
I haven't had much time to try them all, as I just played Multi with a bunch of friends last night.Gimme more details on the campaign. I love Halo, but I pretty much never play multi. Just co-op sometimes. Fan of the story.
The new faster, mini Wraith tank is really good. It's hard to kill individuals with it outside of attempted ramming, but it's really good against vehicles. I like it a lot. The new jeep is.......well probably more fair now because the turret can actually overheat. One thing I do like is that the handling is a lot better. I find it easier to stay on all four wheels with both the Jeep & Mongoose.
Tonight I'm probably going to play the Story Mode with my friends when I get home from work, so I'll let you know.
Gimme more details on the campaign. I love Halo, but I pretty much never play multi. Just co-op sometimes. Fan of the story.
Sure thing. Not a multi man. I play co-op, but I've really never been the competitive sort. Used to get into Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament tournaments back in the day. Not anymore.
And you don't play Multi? What the hell is wrong with you? 8D

Okay, so I just spent the past 5 hours going through the Campaign mode on Legendary for Halo: Reach. I've still got about 2 more levels to go before we're done though. Overall, it's really good. It's definitely a lot more enjoyable than ODST (which gets a nice shout out in the game). The new vehicle modes they put in are a whole lot of fun, and the story is pretty interesting. Well, I mean, I don't follow Halo storyline as much as a bigger Halo fan, but it's still pretty interesting.Main reason why I didn't enjoy ODST was that you were a damn weakling. This true here too, or are you back with the SPARTAN badassness?
Man though, the Silver Elites are a [sonic slicer]! XD

Definite SPARTAN bad-assery going on here.Running fast, jumping like Michael Jordan and not get killed by the slightest tiny hit.
Plenty of that, yes. LoL, although I'm doing Legendary, so the AI is definitely more competent. XD...is there any other way to play the game, honestly? Legendary's what makes Halo so awesome. Other modes are stoopid.

Replaying MMZ4. Having a heck of a time maintaining that A-Rank.Try getting and maintaining an S rank.
I played Sonic '06 for curiosity, and I ended up hating Sega for it. Also scratch what I said about Fallout 3 being returned; I assumed my brother returned it when I saw him return some games he had to his friends, although I didn't get a clear view of the games he had at the time. Then get the damn patch working.
Try getting and maintaining an S rank.
S-ranking Z4 is way easier than 3. Do the rest of the levels first with as many points as you can and leave that one for last so that your average score doesn't suffer as much.
Now time for some Pokémon.
Finished Final Fantasy VIII and leaped into Final Fantasy X.
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.
Touhou 12.8 Fairy WarsI'd say it's just hard
Is it just me getting rusty or this game is really annoyingly hard?
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future (NA)Its out all ready?
I'd say it's just hardUh.....that said...i just 1cc'd 12.8 on normal just 1 minute ago....
I remember one guy saying "I can 1cc IN on Lunatic, but I can't even 1cc 12.8 on Easy"
Shantae: Risky's Revenge
Got it yesterday and loving it so far.
I have my eye on Shantae, but as my DSi needs to go in for repairs (mic and shoulder buttons crapped out), I'll probably hold off until after that's done.
In the meantime, there's always Muramasa. Finished Momohime, now working on Kisuke.
Undecided if I should I try the Layton games.. hmm...
Never played the first one on Wii, just how was it set up?
Also playing New Super Mario Bros. again. As Luigi of course. 8)You know, I realized with that comment that I have truly gotten lazy as a gamer. In SMB3 and SMW, I had no qualms with starting a 2 player game and killing Mario so that I could play as Luigi. These days, it just pisses me off that NSMBWii has no character-select in single-player.
Anyways, been replaying Ace Attorney Investigations. And re-watching the AAI2 trailer in all its awesomeness.
Just got Pokemon Platinum. We're having a birthday party today and I got it as a gift. THE BAD THING IS OUR INTERNET CONNECTION ISN'T SUPPORTED BY THE DS. FUUUU-Since anything the DS supports is obsolete in terms of hacking protection anyway, I just leave my connection completely password-less (get a LOT less connection errors that way; the DS is absurdly picky), and to keep out the leechers, have my router reserve all possible IPs for my own devices. Nobody gets on without MAC-spoofing, and if they're capable of that, then WEP probably wouldn't have stopped them anyway.

If worst comes to worst, there's always Nintendo's Wi-fi dongle.
Going back to Mario Kart Wii for some unknown reason, despite the fact that this game is the worst of the Mario Kart series.
"Old Guy" (I keep forgetting, so yeah) - FighterGaluf, you spoony bard
Oh god, this next boss is going to be annoying, with 1200 HP and a sturdy defense. Thankfully, it's weak to fire, but it will be awhile before I get a Black Mage ability for my Knight/Warrior.. Will FFV be as dreadful later on in the game as I progress? At least I reached the water shrine. ::)
[tornado fang]ING FINAL FANTASY V. >8|It [tornado fang]'d you, didn't it?
It [tornado fang]'d you, didn't it?
Besides, that fire boss is super easy with a Black Mage and Blizzara.
Oh yeah, FF VI~
WISH I WOULD'VE KNOWN THAT.Who else would have? Cid?
FFVI is like an orgasm to me. It's just so great.
Who else would have? Cid?
Umm, it tastes yummy for me.
Just quickly change three of them to Black Mages and buy Blizzaga at the town.
Keep the warrior and put him in the front row, and the rest in the back.
Finally slaughtered that thing in FFV that was blocking the Water Crystal. Now for the Fire Crystal. Spammed the hell out of fire with my fighter and kick for my monk.
My damned white mage kept getting herself KO'd. What [dark hold] do I have to fight next as a major boss?
Next time Banpresto, give me Gundam00 instead of GSD!
Was playing Mario Bros 3. Water World is still hard as [tornado fang].
Really now? World 5 was my bane. Cheap fall-off-the-clouds-to-your-death gimmick is cheap.
Zelda: The Wind Waker. Currently hunting for the Trifoce charts. Toon Link is my fav version of Link. The sailing aspect of the game doesn't really bother me.
I remember one castle that continuously looped around unless you found a certain spot, flew ALL THE WAY TO THE ROOF, and had to time your button press to go through the levitating door. It was freakin' maddening.I miss the days before the internet, when we could use Power Wings without shame.
I myself am replaying Wind Waker on a New Game +, but I'm doing a bit of a challenge run. I'm trying to do a Three Heart Run while holding the camera AT A TOP-DOWN VIEW. I call it Wind Waker DS. *shot*
Also, funny story, I found out only about 13% of Wind Waker is spent sailing thanks to an FAQ I read. Who would've thought?
I admire your courage. I've never tried to attempt a three heart run in any Zelda game.
Only %13 of Wind Waker is spent sailing? For real? Now that is interesting, considering how big the overworld in Wind Waker is.
------
While we're on the subject of Super Mario Bros. 3, (I'm making my way through Super Mario All-Stars, sans Lost Levels and I'm nearly to SMB3) anyone remember that final Fortress that had like a million doors? Did ANYONE pass that stage without a guide? When I went in there as a kid and saw how many freaking doors there was, I said screw it and used Lakitu's Cloud to pass that sucker and I've been doing it ever since.
And what's this about not being to use P-Wings without being disgraced? I miss something?
Let me put it this way. P stands for Pansy. Pansy-Wing.
Mega Man 7. I'd rather be playing the next in the list, Mega Man 5, but my brother has a save file so I'm forced to play that load of *term is witheld* instead.
Hey, its better than you give it credit for.
Cleared Tiny-Huge Island on SM64 DS. Now I just need the rest of the game cleared (I have 130 stars total currently).Ah, playable Yoshi in 3D. Was awesome, if only he could grab Bowser's tail without having to wear somebody's hat...
Cleared SonicGalaxyColors. Got 81 red rings to track down still...
IMHO the "collectible checklist" shpiel just doesn't work for Sonic. It's fun in the enclosed stages, but when you're blazing by wide-open areas, having to stop and check every nook and cranny just sucks the life out of you (I wasn't too fond of Secret Rings' Fire Souls, either).
Sonic Unleashed (Wii) - Hm, not as bad as a lot of people say it is, although Werehog + GC Controller = RAGE.
You mean Classic Controller?
Also, I had no problems with Wii Werehog controls using the Classic Controller.
PS3 Werehog however... Why can't you turn on a dime?
But its definitley more fun this time around. More things going on, less mediocrity.
Finished Chrono Trigger. A little on the easy side, but good fun.
12 more endings to get.... FFFFFFFFFFF-
Mario Forever (http://softendo.com/game/view/name/Super Mario 3 : Mario Forever 5.0)~HOLY [parasitic bomb] I remember that game. I used to play it during school hours while I was in 8th-9th grade.

The story is awesome, which is great since reading is what you'll be doing like 80% of the time and I'm not kidding. It's a visual novel though so that's expected.
Yup, I'll try to go back on Wednesday morning to see if I can play single player for a while to get used to it before everyone else gets there and kicks my ass even though apparently I'm the one that knows the game the most >__>
Either I've gone blind or I've been a shut-in for too long because I've yet to see an M-rated DS game.
---- Crash Bombs and ---- Item 1. They both run out too early.
Megaman X4I don't approve. B(

Translation of some sort?
- Tried to run Back to The Future part 1, but apparently I need to get something in order to run. Oh well, at least I have Monkey Island. If you're stuck on the "Play" Button not working, try running the game in Administrator. That should fix it.
Finally got around to beating Persona 3. Yay. It only took me 75 hours and 39 minutes. The final boss was quite a pushover, it was longer than it was difficult.
YES! OH SWEET [tornado fang]ing GOD YES! I FINALLY BEAT MEGAMAN AND BASS. On my last life too.
I SOMEHOW managed to get myself a Suicune ([tornado fang] yeah.) off Wi-Fi. Thought they ended the event. Anyways, it refueled my drive to actually play Platinum.Got Entei, Suicune, and Celebi, but missed Raikou, so I gotta shark him.
Funny story there, if anyone watches Psych, and saw that one episode with the "One square foot of reception", it was the same story in my backyard with Wi-Fi.
Is that Celebi from Gamestop or is there/will there be a wi-fi event? So far, Gamestop. Dunno if a Wi-Fi version is coming like with the beast trio, or not.
So far, Gamestop. Dunno if a Wi-Fi version is coming like with the beast trio, or not.
Celebi triggers two events, one in HG/SS and the other in Black/White, so do try to pick one up.

Lesse, in the past few weeks:In other words, your past few weeks have been GODLY.
Spider-Man 2 (GameCube)
One of the better licensed games out there. Beat the story in a few days. My controller completely broke shortly after. Go figure.
Medal of Honour Frontline
Was testing the new GameCube controller I bought about a week after my last one broke. Haven't touched this one in ages. Playing it again, I really wish there was the option to increase sensitivity.
Star Wars: Dark Forces
Got around to configuring it to start-up windowed. Game is now lag-free and damn good fun. Though there's no option to change the controls whatsoever, so I have to get all old school and aim with the Numpad (but it is a DOS game, so that's a given really).
Star Wars Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith
Beat the original Jedi Knight some time ago. This one seems to add a fair bit in the way of Force Powers... not that I'll really use anything other than Heal and Jump. Lightsabre kinda sucks due to the random input lag it seems to get.
Unreal Tournament 2004
Bought this back in mid-January. I love everything about it.
Left 4 Dead 2
I get a pretty bad framerate that's barely playable, so I think I'll be saving this along with UT3 for when I get a newer machine.
Painkiller: Black Edition
Picked this up after reading about Bulletstorm and how it's apparently a spiritual successor to this game. It's pretty mindless, but incredibly satisfying. Also one of few Shooters I've played where the Melee/Starting weapon remains useful throughout the whole thing.
Whores. Why don't us DPP players get special events, HUH? >8|As I recall, because the biggest of the DP special events was revealed early due to an in-game glitch in Japan.
Play Serious Sam and Bulletstorm, You'll love them.I'll definitely get them... once I have a faster computer.
Just got Star Wars: Republic CommandoGOD YES
Good fun. I'm still on Geonosis and it seems like it's taking forever. Hopefully this means the game is pretty lengthy.
Hey, Vix, can you transfer a Mii from the Wii to 3DS?
Yea, you can do that, but um, since the 3DS has new styles and looks for your Mii, you can't send it back to the Wii. o.o;That is so inconcievably stupid. Couldn't they release an update or something?
Got around to finishing Bayonetta this weekend. It was fantastic.I crashed into the Earth. =P I honestly thought "Hey look, Earth!" And went there. XD
Punching a god on the face and sending it flying into the Sun has got to be one of my top 10 videogame moments ever XD I crashed into Mercury a couple of times though, oops... >.>
Currently Playing:You do realise that you could use Frontier cloning... right?
Pokemon Platinum - HOW THE HELL DO I GET UP STARK MOUNTAIN oh and I'm Pal-Parking six legendaries from Emerald today. Then like two more sets of them later.
Pokemon Emerald - Not really. I'm just using it to Pal-Park for now. My friend borrowed the game and I'm using his file to get Rayquaza, Groudon, Kyogre, Regice, Regirock, and Registeel over to Platinum. Then I'm going to do like three more files to get the starters over, and then I'm going to play through like three more times fully, mostly on account of the Lati's. Twice for the Lati's, and once for my ACTUAL playthrough.
You do realise that you could use Frontier cloning... right?
The only thing this game is missing is a stunned instructor when you get a perfect score.
Sonic Unleashed Wii - Where is that DAMN 69th sun medal!? 8D

Hmm... Lemme Guess, you either haven't S ranked one of the Day Stages, or didn't collect something from those Gaia gates.
Also, once you get 69 you still need to find all those "Secret" Items to get the last Adabat Mission for 70 total... at least I think there are 70... Been a while since I played that Dimps mess.
NiGHTS is fun but I'm still not sure what the overall objective of the levels/game is.Fly around. Gather 20 balls. With those balls, explode the capsule thingy by flying into it.
Sonic 06 (PS3), currently just going back to levels I've already done. I'm not intrested in playing either Kingdom Valley or Tropical Jungle at the moment, so I might just take a break. I did finish Silver's story though.
Fly around. Gather 20 balls. With those balls, explode the capsule thingy by flying into it.
Fly through rings to fill the dash meter and fly faster.
And as a juxtaposition, while he tries to survive Final Fantasy X-2, I'm going through Final Fantasy XII.

Izumi: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja (DS - Emulator) - It's like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, only it doesn't want you to win.
Henry HatsworthAll I needed to hear. Getting Monster Tale right now then.
With myself.
Got that last gold trophy in Rabbids 3D, so now I've unlocked all gallery items.
Near as I can figure, the "mission mode" unlocks absolutely nothing, so I guess it's back to Super Street Fighter IV for my 3DS action, till the e-Shop is out and the L3 Prototype dominates my life.
Was the Rabbids game awesome? Haven't had a chance to check any reviews.Opinions vary. I'd say it kicks the crap out of Rabbids Go Home, but I don't envision many 3DS late-adopters will feel the need to backtrack to it.

First of all check controls in the manual; the game doesn't bother telling you how to run until you're halfway through it, and neglecting that will make the first half drag a bit. It's a little lacking in variety (61 stages across only 4 time periods; no "bosses" to speak of), and doesn't feature the best record-keeping (can't see cleared trophies/missions without selecting the stage; no video gallery). Still, the visuals are crisp, the Rabbids are zany as ever, the easter-egg unlock requirements are reasonable, there's a gazillion costumes to wear in-game (can mix-and-match head and body parts) and the game's overall handling is solid. Challenge is pretty low; health is generous and extra lives are plentiful, though you may find a tricky death trap here and there.
Anyway, Pokemon White. Three badges, and just got my first dose of the Dream World today (TEN THOUSAND POINTS FOR MY FRIKKIN DRATINI?!),
Brawl, having a hell of a time modifying the [tornado fang]ing Character and Stage Select Screens (It either refuses to work, or does the "Hang up and Screech".)Filesize is probably too big. I had that issue for a while. Not even sure how I fixed it
I honestly don't know what I did wrong. I mean modifying the opening didn't blow up on my face so I don't know why this is.
EDIT: Oh, apparently some characters revert to their normal when they get to the end of classic mode/are used in adventure mode.Certain parts of the single player use a different file for character's textures/models and movesets. They're in the same folder IIRC. Singleplayer ones are .pac and multiplayer ones are .pcs. I think the only real difference other than filename extension is the compression on them.
What the hell, how do I fix this?
Kicking Proud Mode's ass in Kingdom Hearts 2
Still playing Bayonetta and gunning for 100% completion on a new game.I've stalled on it somewhere in like.. Chapter 8. It's losing my attention and it really needs to grab it back.
I just got Mega man 9. Yep, I just got it long after everyone stopped caring, but I have this to say.I got it just a little bit ago myself and I'm really not finding any reason to keep playing it. It's lost it's appeal quite early. Which sucks for me.
It really is as fun as everyone says, except for that one bit in Wily 2 that's pretty much kicking my ass.
Found a used copy of Bangai-O on Dreamcast. I'm in love! 0v0
You know... that's a game I have always been interested in.I think Treasure got the game out on XBLA recently, although I'm not sure if it's the same as the Dreamcast game.
out on XBLA
In case anyone has been wondering why I haven't been on all day,
FFX-2. Wish X's battle system and exp was like this.
Hitman: Blood Money
I get the feeling I'll ragequit out of the insane guilt I always get playing these kind of games. Only did the tutorial level and I already feel like [parasitic bomb].
Also of course been playing inFAMOUS. This one I know for sure I'll play all the way through since I can actually be a good person. Though in turn that just makes accidental killing all the more horrendous for me.
Shut up I know they're just games ;_;
Mega Man X7. Beating Red without taking damage using all of the characters on hard sealed my love for this game. The excellent graphics put icing on a sweet cake. You aren't serious, are you? Graphics in this game were [parasitic bomb] even when it first came out.

Playing, OoT, and got my beloved Biggoron's Sword. My God, how I missed Biggoron's Sword... 8)I never said those two games have good graphics. : 3

Oh, and if anyone doubted about my first statement about X7, watch this video that I completed and uploaded into my YouTube channel.
I don't think anyone cared if you were lying or not.
... how long ago did you start it?
Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3
Soon my desire to destroy Kou will be complete! 8)
I'd like to get all 14 Emeralds but the Super Emeralds are just so aggravating to obtain. That, good sir, is why we have post-game stage select with respawning giant rings. You don't have to do it all in one run.

Next up is Legends 2. I've waited years to get my hands on it and now that I have...*laughs evilly*Another one joins the ranks. Well done. [eyebrow]
Is playing this.

Strange because i can get all Super Emerelds in the first stage even with Sonic.
Replaying Phantasy Star Portable 2
I can never do that no matter how hard I try. I suck at those bonus stages.
Decided to give La Mulana a try again, and once I learned how to save and that I can teleport to the other dungeons I started enjoying the crap out of the game.
I ocasionally play Spiral Knights too, not bad but the goddamn energy is too expensive :-|
I said I learned how to do that (I didn't on my previous plays), that's why I even bothered playing the game now ^^Sorry, I misunderstood you.
I'm stuck at the boss on the fiery cavern
I am now downloading TF2.SHooting, Item collecting and crafting.
What to expect?
Who to play with?
Most importantly: What class to pick?
I'm almost done with that, Saph. All I need is the Online achievements. >U< (http://www.trueachievements.com/Soulcalibur-IV-xbox-360.htm?showall=1&gamerid=284902)Well, I knew I would eventually have to when I swapped systems.
Dynamarisa 3D
Well, not much of a bullet hell, what made this game so crazy is the cluster [tornado fang]ing swarming number of enemies.
I always wanted to play Hitman. You can get almost all of them on Steam for 10 USD each. Except Contracts, which couldn't get the license renewed on one of the copyrighted songs it used. I actually got Silent Assassin for the GameCube though. There was a new one confirmed just this past E3. It's lookin' pretty nice (http://i54.tinypic.com/qsquq1.jpg).
Any games in the series you recommend?Blood Money and Contracts are the good ones.
Playing Deus Ex Human Revolution. Loving it a lot.i suggest you to play the first one, i haven`t played invisible wars, but it have bad critics
Haven't played the first DX games I must admit though. I probably should fix that. Soon.
Beat Quake 1 today as well, guess this is a day of beating games.I always hated Shub-Niggurath, because I could never figure out how to kill him since I always blew out all my ammo.
I always hated Shub-Niggurath, because I could never figure out how to kill him since I always blew out all my ammo.
Needless to say, when I managed to kill him, it was by accident and I just went "...huh okay"
I just loooooooove Shamblers
Quake 1+2 are great because they're pretty long as they are, although I never got to the mission packs for either of them.
Maybe it's something for me to look at on Steam sometime...
I've been playing KH BBS again, seeing as until now I've only beat Aqua's story.Don't worry, I had trouble too. I just ended up having to dodge roll like mad.
I've beat Terra's now, soon moving onto Ventus.
Terranort i Terra's story beat the ever loving [parasitic bomb] out of me until I got lucky.
God, do I suck.
Don't worry, I had trouble too. I just ended up having to dodge roll like mad.
I only got her to around level 40 by the end.Hi.

Come to think of it, I never finished that. Sorta lost interested during Terra's story when I realized how moronic he is.
Does it get better later?
It's weird, I still haven't been able to beat "Mysterious Figure" or Vanitas Sentiment, but I've lasted significantly longer on MF.
That and I personally thought Aqua had the worst attack layout out of the three. I only got her to around level 40 by the end.
Really? I always found Terra to be worst of the three and Aqua the best; she's the only one I've beat the game on a Level 1 Critical run so far.
Aqua felt the weakest to me.
Aqua the best
Considering how little you tried to use her, I can't help but wonder if you got her good spells like Triple Firaga.
I mean if you did and you still don't like using her that's cool, but it does make a difference.
<3 :cookie:
Mega Man Xtreme (GB). My god, Extreme doesn't live up to it's name, doesn't it? Essentially, after two runs before this mode you'd pretty know where everything IS by the time you get to play it. Doesn't help that you take the same amount of damage in all three modes, unlike Rocket Knight Adventures. -u-'You had DAMN WELL BETTER be playing Xtreme2 afterwards. :P

Cleared Mega Man Xtreme with everything included. Final Time: 04:35.
Barrel-rolling in 3D. Presentation-wise, Star Fox kicks the crap out of OoT.
I beat BloodRayne: Betrayal. WayForward did a very awesome job at making the game! <3Planning on playing. Why is it that Wayforward is the only company that can crank out consistingly good games, all crafted out of pure commercial set-in-stone franchises, and all of them are fantastic experiences?
Jake 'Virt' Kaufman (once again) did a beautiful (and sexy) work with the music (and the 8bit versions too)~ Respect him so much! :cookie:
I recommend it to everyone that loves a mix of Castlevania/Rockman Zero/Shank type gameplay, mixed with handdrawn visuals. ^^
Speaking of handdrawn things, I would have liked Rayne to wear the more revealing outfit from the Concept Gallery. :3
Jake 'Virt' Kaufman
Oh, wait, stick Telltale in that basket too.

Atlus has a pretty solid track record as well. Unlike the Shin Megami Tensei franchises, their Trauma Center games are far more underrated. Yet I loved every bit of them, especially TC Under the Knife 2. Hooked from beginning to end.I meant in making games based on licensed franchises and being true to them.
I meant in making games based on licensed franchises and being true to them. It's because they love video games, and don't want to ruin any franchises. I mean, Matt Bozon has his own dA page, and I don't know of any other devs who have that.

Maybe that's not a great gauge, but it's a pretty cool thing to me.
Oh, as to what I'm playing...
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Dissidia Duodecim
Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Botkai 1: The Sun is In your Hand
Area: FireRock Mountain
Boss: Sabata
Equipment: Ice Lens, Homing, Infininte (It's used and it was apparently hacked before it was turned in. how odd.)
I suggest checking the map.
That's what it's there for.

Portal 2. Anybody up to play the new free DLC? Got no partner.
I have Portal 2 for PS3, but barely played over 40 minutes of it. It's not that I think it's bad by any means, in fact it's incredibly creative and fun (and difficult as [parasitic bomb]). But i own a ton of other games i've yet to play. Which version do you have?PC. It's compatible, though. Make sure to download the new version, which has brand new co-op levels and a new story. Wrap up the story, and add "ashurahori" on steam.
And I'm back from my first session.
I died so much.
Yea, the black screens in Misadventures is random, but it is still playable, if you can get past them.Your odds seem to improve with different Sound/CDRom plugins; something to do with how the voice lines are read from the disc, I believe. Finally got by after some tinkering. But yeah, original hardware is best, it's too much of a crapshoot otherwise.
I recommend to play on a real system tho. ^^; I'm happy that the Kobun 41 save file is put to good use.
Sharing the Japanese one was a good thing, so that it could be hacked to a USA save file later. ;3
DBZ Ultimate Tenkaichi
The voice acting sounds like they simply took voice clips from DBZ (old voices) and Kai (new voices), and the character creation is lackluster and limited (but, with this being a first for a DBZ game, it's forgivable).
I wonder how many episodes are in this game..?
Finished Izuna: Legend of Unemployed Ninja. Well, almost. I mean, the story is over but there still is the Path of Trials. I'm not really sure if I'm able to clear all 99 floors :D One bad move and you're dead. At least the game is challenging!
100% on SM3DL.
Game & Watch Gallery 4
Haven't played this since I lost my GBA and all of its games. Quite the nostalgiagasm now. If there's one thing I certainly haven't forgotten, it's the catchy music (♥ Rain Shower (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W6eGcJmhnU) and Briefing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qx2EjYbXWs)). Maybe now since I bother to read all the messages and instructions, I'll unlock everything. Only ever unlocked Chef and a few Gallery things before.

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Definitely seems to be a worthy sequel so far, but there's one minor thing that's really irking me. Every now and then I'll reach what seems to be a stealth segment, with Nate even muttering "Better do this quietly". But, despite that implication it seems getting spotted and having a large fight with enemies spawning everywhere is the only option. The one time I did manage to take out everyone quietly, the game refused to trigger the next cutscene, with my AI partner just sitting there doing nothing. Like, I know stealth wasn't a key point of the gameplay but, I feel.. I dunno, mislead. Maybe it's just my slight perfectionist instinct having just played through the Thief series.
Also played through Sonic CD on PSN today
The best thing it's got going for it is the music, really. The time travel gimmick is cool and all, but leaves the levels a nauseating clusterfuck [...] It's okay overall I s'pose, but now I'm definitely of the opinion that it's overrated.
I personally enjoyed Uncharted 2 far more, in terms of story and gun mechanics.I remember hearing some mention of that. It's been ages since I played 1 or 2 though, so what's different specifically? Only thing about it I really notice is the sensitivity needs to be able to go higher >_>
One thing in Uncharted 3 that stood out for me, however, is the superb online gameplay. Useful Kickbacks, booster options, amazingly detailed maps and other great mutliplayer content made the $60 worth it for me. Don't get me wrong though, I didn't feel Uncharted 3 was bad, but rather the single player campaign didn't live up to the expectations of the masterpiece that was Uncharted 2.Admittedly I haven't played the online for either game myself (I only borrowed Among Thieves, still haven't bought it).
That's what I've been saying since forever.Yeah... the game plays a hell of a lot better with Tails, which should've been available from the start as a
The level design was almost as if they slapped it together quickly, and trying to Time Travel is inconvenient at times due to hills and various platforms in your way. On the flip side, the music is by far some of the best in the franchise, and I like the general dark atmosphere. Overall, Sonic CD is overated. It had a terrific concept, but was simply executed poorly.
Senko no Ronde.
Well, Cephi and I happen to love both the Senko no Ronde games. They are pretty fun. ^^Shame that the media doen't see that way and threated the first game so badly, and because of, no sequel outside of Japan... wished they'd give DLCs for the first game, too... ;O;
I'm playing DUO myself. :3
play something other than sonic

So you're never playing the game again because you messed up?
Does not compute.
Also been playing Metroid Fusion on the 3DS whenever I have just a little bit of free time.
Just got my Level 100 Reshiram. So tomorrow I start exploring the Pokemon Dream World again, I guess (I STILL need to drudge my way through getting enough points for my frikkin' Dream World Dratini....)Haha, oh my, you are still trying? Whew, I am not the only one. Its really hard to gather up 10,000 DW points, isn't?
Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3
I took a long break, but if I'm going to do ANYTHING further in White, then that comes first. Not that I don't like Haxorus, but Dragonite is still the top of the line in my book.Same here. I love my Garchomp, but that 4x ice weakness hurts too much and Dragonite's DW ability is too good to pass up.
I'm still annoyed the DLC for that never got a release here, I wanted to play as Marida and the Kshatriya dammitI was gonna say, yeah, it appears for me. I've heard a lot of times that SCE NZ seems to be the only local store not to get it, but at least you didn't get exorbitant regional pricing so just do it to pay in Euros if you really want it.
and yeah yeah "there's ways to get dlc from other regions blah blah blah" you don't need to tell me.
Finishing up the collection of the Precursor Orbs in Jak 3. Which will conclude my run through the Jak and Daxter Collection.
EDIT: Beat it, finished with the Trilogy, I can't believe I missed these during the PS2 era, other than Jak 2 I really enjoyed the series (I liked the story in Jak 2, just not the gameplay.)
Your next Jak game should be Daxter. I didn't find it as addictive as the PS2 series, but it was still fun.
Leaving my Xbox on with Radiant Silvergun
Oh good, you decided to finally finish this up. (http://www.trueachievements.com/comparison.aspx?gameid=3964&friendid=293271&gamerid=284902)Yeah but ever since I got it I've still haven't beaten Story Mode. Why did I curse myself to suck at these games? ;O;
Once you have maxed out lives, Story Mode will be easy. XD
I completed Sine Mora. (http://www.trueachievements.com/Sine-Mora-xbox-360.htm?gamerid=284902) (Official Site (http://www.sinemoragame.com/))I was surprised to see Mahiro Maeda, the artist who worked on Blue Submarine No. 6 and Animatrix among other worked on the bosses for Sine Mora. Then again, I didn't know who he was until I played the demo. It was a long since I've seen Blue Submarine No. 6 and the last time I've watched it was original Japanese version online somewhere (might of been ZOMG Anime) years ago and many years ago when the English version aired on Toonami. Good times...
It's one of the most fun Bullet Hell games I played, and good for a XBLA game. ^^
The story is dark and has a mature theme. The characters even swears in the dialogs.
The artwork is great and the environments in the stages is beautiful!
Some of the challenges were tough, like beating Arcade with only the main weapon, and beat a stage on Intense without collecting any items.
Bossk: O.OThis made my day ;D
Only because you probably play it a lot, the later levels in the SNES version are >_<.
Completed 999 with all endings some time ago. I urge anyone who owns a DS to BUY IT. Seriously, It has one of the most compelling plot directions out there.Sonic Colors is better than Generations.
Then I went on to beat Sonic Generations, and I'm not touching that again for a while. It wasn't terrible, in fact it's the best Sonic has been in a while. But the thing is, that's not saying anything. Sonic is hideous now, as we are all aware. It's an average game, with clear design flaws, most missions were dreadfully boring, and had forgettable boss battles. Some levels were fun, but only at the beginning. IMO barely any replay value, and console Sonic still remains to be shitty.
Sonic Colors is better than Generations.
Much, much better.
I hope you're joking.No, I'm not.
Where in my post was I hating? I'm just saying that Generations is better than Colors.Well... your post kinda made me think you were hating. You know, the whole "Are you joking" thing.
OPINIONS
Does anyone here play Melty Blood?I do.
Terranigma
I remember seeing some random mention of it (on here I believe) a while back, and for some reason felt compelled to give it a try. Finally got around to doing so, and I don't regret it one bit. This is certainly a RPG I can actually enjoy. I should really look into this sort of subgenre more.
Bastion
Got my PS3 controller working properly on my computer, so I've been much more willing to play this. Enjoying it more than I expected. The narrator alone is enough to keep me engaged.
The Legend of Zelda (NES/Virtual Console). At first I was thinking of getting Metroid to relive good times with Zero Mission, but then I thought "You know, at some point in my life I need to play the original Zelda". PurpleTriforce sum this game's difficulty too well but I'm not regreting it.
Can somebody please tell me how Zelda 1 is considered hard?I was wondering this myself... Yeah, there can be some tricky parts but it's not THAT hard.
Zelda 2 fine I can understand, but not 1.

Dark Cloud 2, never had the chance to play it when it came out but I loved the first one so I picked it up. All and all I'm near the end of the 2nd level and I'm in love with this game. <3
Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix. Just grinding so I can take down the optional bosses. And wrapping up the Moogle synthesis catalog too.
You should do all of it in Critical Mode.I would, but honestly I don't think I'm nearly good enough for that. Just getting through Critical, probably, but as for doing it all 100%? Yeah that... would probably be beyond my skill level. D:
Facebook buddies pointed out to me that you can buy stuff from the Japanese PSN using a PSP from any region.Correct me if I be wrong, but why not just get the UMDs?
Correct me if I be wrong, but why not just get the UMDs?
Worth upgrading for?
- Ratchet & Clank HD Trilogy
I am replaying Mega Man X6 and I am beginning to understand why some people hate the game. Some levels are not really well designed and it almost feels that Capcom is honestly trying to hard to make difficult game. X6 is boatloads better than its predecessor but at same time I wished that Capcom actually make the effort to make the game fun. Some levels are honestly irritating and require certain parts to use, the nightmare effects could had expanded upon even more, the bosses were to easy even with unarmored X and I really wish that they used the Xtreme2 system for parts. The game is irritating but in a good way although I understnad why this game is hated most fo the fans. You'd be amazed how rarely parts are required, compared to how often people think they are.
Crystal: caught Suicune into an ordinary PokeBall. It feels so good.Woah, it was 2 years ago? I caught Entei with PokeBall yesterday. In the same game. That roaming, fleeing bastard was very tricky to get.
CyberConnect2, where have you been all my life? 8)
Final Fantasy IX
And a 1h47m 100% run on Super Metroid. ^^b
Funny, I got around that time when I 100%-run Super Metroid one day, too. :3
Got around to continuing Super Mario 64 DS.
The game looks pretty good and looks WAY better than the original; I don't know why people think the game looks "[tornado fang]ing" ugly.
Although the D-pad is going to get some getting used to. Also, they got rid of alot of the stupid stars from the original and made the experience less patience grinding.
Why do people hate this game? :\
You have to unlock Mario?None. They added 30 stars, one new one to each world and 15 more secret ones, for a grand total of 150. In addition, you start out as Yoshi and have to unlock Mario, Luigi, and Wario, of whom the Wing Cap, Vanish Cap, and Metal Cap are spread amongst respectively. You must defeat a boss in order to unlock the keys to the doors they are locked in.
What stars did they remove?
Started Ys Seven. You are not amazed by Ys Seven? Something to play on the SIDE?!
It's more RPG-ish, but still nothing to utterly turn me off. This will probably be something I play on the side for the next long while.
Well, got my five shiny stars in NSMB2 today. ...with just under 100,000 coins.
And Nintendo wants me to do that nine more times? Eh, no thanks. Even at 7k a pop in World 2-4, that's still pretty darn insane. If they wanted to bank on people playing the game's multiplayer forever, they should have made it online. At least with a console game you only need one system for multiplayer.
Guess for handhelds I'll be going back to Mario Kart 7. I still need to try and do the whole Kid Icarus on Intensity 9 thing, too.
Coin Rush.Very clever, but it's still 30 repeats to get to the million. There are plenty of other 3DS games with equally mind-numbing objectives for me to clear that DON'T make me wish I was playing NSMBWii with a hacked soundtrack and extra Yoshi eggs instead.
Mushroom Pack, making sure Mushroom-1 is the first stage.
Gold Flower.
Run and hit the checkpoint, use the earlier enemies to get around 500 coins.
Go into the pipe where the first Star Coin is, Run and jump onto the koopa twice.
Break the bricks to form a small set of stairs.
Infinite 1-UP trick, making sure to stop at about 900 coins (The Koopa only has 1,000 in him, and if you take them all then he dies and doesn't respawn.)
Do that twice more, third time feel free to kill it.
Run to the end.
Top of the Flagpole.
Next two stages don't matter so long as you get the top of the flagpole in the second stage (The third is always a fortress IIRC) to double your score, just killing the boss in a Fortress produces the same results.
You'll get the maximum 30,000 for Coin Rush, save that as your record so you can always Challenge it to get more.
I got to my 1,000,000 within a week thanks to that. I'm not going to bother with 9,999,999 though, not worth it.
Some Playstaion Plus freebies. They recently put up Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, so I'm playing that. Lovin' it so far.
Rockman X2: Soul Eraser, why am I playing you? You clearly aren't going to let me beat you without getting at least one piece of armor, you make Zero look like a pansy, and you took away my Quick Dash button from the first game.
You're a monster. T_T
Pokemon Black 2.HEY
Pokemon Black 2.
stop playing what I'm playing
New Zealand
It's also probably ridiculously expensive for some unknown reason.
It's not really that expensive this time around, only $68 NZD. Black and White were around $92 NZD. So it's a big price difference.Yeah, but my point was it's more than we pay.
Probably still more than you guys paid.
Been playing Arkham City. [tornado fang]ing addicting.
If you decide to go "the opposite way" with characters and levels in Hard Mode -- which is to say, if you play X's levels with Zero and Zero's levels with X -- you get screwed out of armor parts because you don't have the right weapons to access the areas where the armor parts art. Zero's Fire Wave can't burn down that wood barrier in Neon Tiger's stage and none of X's weapons can penetrate the barriers in Tunnel Rhino or Blast Hornet's stages, charged or not. You end up missing X's helmet part and Zero's arm and body parts due to this. (And X's "Shotokan Style" upgrade, if you count that.)You can buy X's armor from Iris for 2000 DNA Souls. Zero is screwed, though.
In addition, there doesn't seem to be a way for Zero to hurt Final Sigma. He never gets an Air Dash upgrade and none of this moves do anything to Sigma's battle suit. You're forced to switch to X and use his vertical air dash to kick Sigma's butt. Which of course means if you didn't get the Leg Part capsule for X, you can't beat Sigma, and you can't beat the game. You couldn't be more wrong (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_a_zaXUb2w&t=1018): Attacking at the peak of Zero's jump WILL damage Sigma, but will NOT cause the full screen flash associated with smacking him in the face after X's air-dash.
Is this game better than the first? Marginally.... That is literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
You can buy X's armor from Iris for 2000 DNA Souls. Zero is screwed, though. That, my friend, is what I consider bad game design. Yeah, sure, you can buy X's armor, but why would you want to when you can just find -- oh wait...
You couldn't be more wrong (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_a_zaXUb2w&t=1018): Attacking at the peak of Zero's jump WILL damage Sigma, but will NOT cause the full screen flash associated with smacking him in the face after X's air-dash.You know, that thought didn't occur to me. Probably because... it's so gimmicky... And asinine. >_>
Watch Sigma's coloring. Only X can hurt him when he's blue, only Zero can hurt him when he's red, and both can hurt him while he's yellow.
You're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine. I'm sure if I'd played both games on the Game Boy Color as intended, I would think differently, but the lack of an optional dash button really made this game feel more like a chore than a game to me. And the aforementioned forced Leg Parts for X. And the fact that if you face a wall and jump, you are stuck against the wall until you land again. And a lot of other things. Is this game better than the first? Marginally.... That is literally the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
[/Sheldon Cooper]
Watch Sigma's coloring. Only X can hurt him when he's blue, only Zero can hurt him when he's red, and both can hurt him while he's yellow.Oh boy, talk about putting the COLOR into Game Boy COLOR.
What about Shantae? That's a GBC game and it's great.I liked Shantae, but it had some serious [tornado fang]ing contrast problems. But that's not its fault. It's the Game Boy Color's.
Do remakes count? Link's Awakening DX was alright. The Oracle games were pretty good, too, from what I've heard. Earthworm Jim: Menace 2 the Galaxy and even Donkey Kong Country, on the other hand...
Oracle games are [tornado fang]ing awesome!Eh, the asymmetry of the Game Boy/Game Boy Advance Zelda games always irked me, but that's me. I haven't played Earthworm Jim: Menace 2 the Galaxy. Donkey Kong Countries GBC were pretty cool.
Seriously, so good.
I just started playing the PSP version of Final Fantasy III.
It reads my system settings to know my language and my X/O functions. Unfortunately nobody told the HUD. The screen will still say "O Accept" and "X Cancel", even though that isn't true.
Also, is Monk any good? I know in FF1 it had a side effect of getting multiple hits, so monsters who nullified all attacks to 1 were easily defeated if they had low HP.Everybody gets multiple attacks in FF1. Or at least, my Fighter, Red Mage, and Monk all do, and I'm like just shy of level 10.
Everybody gets multiple attacks in FF1. Or at least, my Fighter, Red Mage, and Monk all do, and I'm like just shy of level 10.
As for me? Dragon Warrior I & II for the Game Boy Color. Yes, specifically the US version. It's an RPG. I kind of need to be able to read the text. :BOh, I play it too! Sometimes. I finished I, now I'm near the end of II.
Ace Attorney, after all these years I finally get a chance to play it.
Man this is some good [parasitic bomb].
No more Red Crosses on the Medpacks because some people are butthurt about their logo being used like that. And all Wolfenstein/Nazi stuff in II has been removed, The stages have been gutted of their Hitlers and Swastikas, its almost like playing SNES Wolf[tornado fang] you Europe. Way to go. If I had my way there wouldn't be a Europe to go on and on about sensitivity.
^ If I had my way there wouldn't be insensitive redneck pricks like you.yeah i'm with you there, that was a rather insensitive comment for him to make
Just saying.
[tornado fang] you Europe. Way to go. If I had my way there wouldn't be a Europe to go on and on about sensitivity.U MAD?
You are a kind but strong person, which are both qualities of a true hero. You have a strong personality, but you supress it. Besides that, you are very sympathetic, and relate to other peoples feelings. You always put everyone before yourself. Your passions have no end, and you are never discouraged. Everyone has trust in you. And you never lose that trust. You are an excellent person. Even when you act your worst. You are still pretty incredible. I have full faith in you.Enix, why did you have to go and make me cry? T_T
^ If I had my way there wouldn't be insensitive redneck pricks like you.Sensitivity is the bane of free speech. For all worthwhile ideas to emerge, even the morons must have the right to be heard. That's why those that defend the right defend even the stupid [parasitic bomb], like that Islam video that "caused" the embassy "riot".
Just saying.
U MAD?Hey, I can still buy The Anarchist's Cookbook here. And they shouldn't. Anyone who would support censorship is an enemy of free men.
You really seem mad.
You speak as if Murrica never censored anything.
OMG Ladd, stop making all those totally, 100% serious controversial comments like that or you're gonna get banned for liiiiife. :oJoseph gets it. :D
Skipped losing the intro itemsWHAT
I just started playing the PSP version of Final Fantasy III.
It reads my system settings to know my language and my X/O functions. Unfortunately nobody told the HUD. The screen will still say "O Accept" and "X Cancel", even though that isn't true. So far It's a fun game. Dual Wielding all over the place. Luneth is usually dual wielding the two most powerful weapons, while everyone else usually uses the shop stuff.
I hate how slow the zoom is and how claustrophobic I have to be to see the secret switch/item indicator. If it were faster I could bare it. Maybe I'll make a cheat or something for it.
I love the Auto Battle system, but I don't like that I can't hold Select to cancel it as I'm going into a battle. If I win with it on I have to hope the next battle isn't special or I'm fast enough at pressing select rapidly. I like that it speeds up when Auto Battling. I might try to make a cheat that lets me toggle the speed increase in controlled battle. Maybe it even works out of battle?
I'll have some screenshots in the random picture thread eventually.
Alos, anybody who's played 3(though it may not matter since I'm sure they rebalanced the Jobs, even different from the DS version), How does Warrior, Black Mage, White Mage, Thief sound? I want to have all warriors, but I know that will probably screw me over in the obligatory "physical attack resistant monster" dungeon that will teach me to use magic. Also, is Monk any good? I know in FF1 it had a side effect of getting multiple hits, so monsters who nullified all attacks to 1 were easily defeated if they had low HP. Maybe I'll do Warrior, Thief, Red Mage, Monk.
My battery is so dead. I haven't played my PSP in like years. My only charger is USB, and that doesn't provide enough juice to turn it on.
I do and it doesn't. And I don't think it ever charges via the USB port
Heavily considering picking up the Assassin's Creed series. Any words on that guys?Don't do that to yourself.
Don't do that to yourself.
You'll regret it.
I know I do.
Overhyped bullshit is overhyped. It's only saving grace was that Jesper Kyd made the music for it, and it seems that's not the case anymore.
Then again, feel free to try it, but please do not touch the first one, since the story of the games is crap anyway, you can easily skip it. It's tne worst one I believe.
Heavily considering picking up the Assassin's Creed series. Any words on that guys?Don't even bother with the 1st one. 2 improves on it every way. If you like that then Brotherhood adds some new stuff but isn't that big a leap. I haven't played Revelation but only people that are really that big fans cared for it, from what I hear. And 3 I have no idea about.
I played all Streets of Rage games recently, and loved 1 and 2. Really cool music and solid gameplay. 3 wasn't too great IMO.
Speaking of that, if you enjoy Dishonoured, then you should totally play Thief, which is probably its biggest influence in a lot of ways.I *KNEW* that Dishonored felt familiar...!
I haven't played all of 1 yet, but 2 was [tornado fang]ing fantastic.
3... you have to play Bare Knuckle 3 to get the full experience there. Sega censored the [parasitic bomb] out of SoR3.
I mainly used Blaze, she is the best character, after all.
2 really was amazing. I played mostly as Axel, so I still have a lot to uncover. His Shoryuken move is so overpowered, I love it!
My problem with 3 is that it's super unbalanced... :\ Enemies appear by the thousands, and you don't deal too much damage yourself. And the areas/music didn't appeal as much to me. It was kind of a tedious experience.
That reminds me of a joke from a while back:
"Final Fantasy X is the best movie I've ever played."
That reminds me of a joke from a while back:

[tornado fang]ing.
What.
Did.
I just watch.
Oh well I'm probably never gonna play any of the regular FF games past VI anyways.
Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection
Why.
Granted, I MIGHT download VII sometime, I honestly just don't want to. I'm not that big on the FF series anyways.
Also all the music is completely replaced with tracks used in Budokai Tenakichi, since the game's original OST was made by that guy who was discovered to be plagiarising or whatever for DBKai's OST.
Not sure how I ever stood it.
still better than VII
bla bla bla Final Fantasy (insert roman number here) sucks bla bla bla
Also all the music is completely replaced with tracks used in Budokai Tenakichi, since the game's original OST was made by that guy who was discovered to be plagiarising or whatever for DBKai's OST.I was heartbroken when I saw the YouTube video that showed Kenji Yamamoto was a plagiarist. I really, really was. :( I [tornado fang]ing love his work and have since Dragon Ball Z: Super Butouden.
I was heartbroken when I saw the YouTube video that showed Kenji Yamamoto was a plagiarist. I would be heartbroken, if THIS Yamamoto was a plagiarist. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenji_Yamamoto_(composer_born_1964))While I'm glad it's not that Mr. Yamamoto, I still wish it wasn't this one (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenji_Yamamoto_%28composer_born_1958%29). T_T
But he's not.
Which is good.
Granted, I MIGHT download VII sometime, I honestly just don't want to. I'm not that big on the FF series anyways.Play 1, 2, 3, 10, and Tactics.
Play 1, 2, 3, 10, and Tactics.
10 has a great battle system, telling you where you'll be in turn order as you highlight whatever, and allowing you to switch mans without sacrificing turn order.
The same battle system that Command Mission uses, basically. Turn-based. I don't like the time-based games, which is why I skipped 4-9.
Sheeva is pretty tough first time through. There might be an even worse boss later on...You're right, she was tough. Also, it seems impossible to dodge radial attack.
It's a great game.
Thanks. I thought the menu separated consumables and permanent upgrades, but the Exit Unit is closer to the E-Tank. No big deal, though! That's why I like MM8, because almost every weapon has more than 7 uses.
I finished the game. It's pretty cool, though a bit unbalanced. 3 energy for one Flash Bomb? Grrr... X(
(http://lol.rockmanpm.com/zoehd_zoe1_hardclear.jpg)
That went pretty well and quick! Moving on to ZoE2~
So, I downloaded Rockman 8 FC and I suddenly remembered why I never played through the damn thing. There's no way to disable controller support, but the way it tries to map my controller (A PS2 controller via Super Dual Box Pro adapter) simply does not work. I have directional buttons that press every button at the same time, for example...Joy2Key?
So anyway, I decided to poke around the shop. Here's the entire catalog of items and what they do:
[spoiler]Spare Body (1-up) - 20 Bolts - Non-usage item, takes effect immediately.
Gives you another chance to complete a stage.
E-Tank - 30 Bolts, One-time use, works immediately.
Instantly refills your Life Energy.
Power Shield - 20 Bolts - One-time use, lasts the entire stage.
Prevent Rockman from being pushed around when taking damage.
Super Recover - 20 Bolts - One-time use, lasts the entire stage.
Increase the amount of Life/Weapon Energy gained from Life/Weapon Energy Capsules.
Shooting Part - 30 Bolts - One-time use, lasts the entire stage.
You can have 5 Rock Buster shots on-screen at the same time instead of just 3.
Hyper Charge - 30 Bolts - One-time use, lasts the entire stage.
Halves the amount of time it takes to charge a Power Shot.
Exit - 50 Bolts - Infinite use, works immediately.
Allows you to immediately exit a stage if you've already beaten it once.
Exchanger - 80 Bolts - Permanent upgrade.
If you have full Life Energy and pick up a Life Energy Capsule, it gets converted into Weapon Energy instead.
Energy Balancer - 100 Bolts - Permanent upgrade.
Weapon Energy Capsules picked up while no weapon is equipped automatically charge the weapon with the lowest energy.
Energy Saver - 150 Bolts - Permanent upgrade.
Decreases the amount of energy needed to use a special weapon by about half.[/spoiler]
So... yeah! I was wrong about a lot of things, apparently. XD
Assassin's Creed (For the gameplay, anyways. Can't say I care for the story.)That game needed more hash. A hash meter, where you get more ferocious as you get higher.
Continuing this Sonic discussion, last night I found a Shadow the Hedgehog ISO and decided to download it. I was always doubtful that Sega could get worse than Sonic 06. I was wrong. :\
How is Sonic CD? I've only played the first two, Advance, and the Rush games in terms of 2D Sonic.
Also, played SA2 PC. Despite the fact the game runs much better than on any emu, I still believe it [tornado fang]ing sucks and should have never been made.
You know, it actually is. It makes me want to see a Zicks 3.
but then we wouldn't have emo the darkhog and tits the bat.
Wow.
It's [tornado fang]ing nothing.
Yeah, every Sonic game has it's flaws.Aside from the classic 2D ones anyways. :/
Although personally, I like the Unleashed-onwards games myself. Specifically Colors. That was fun as [parasitic bomb].
Although, I have to say, the Rush games deserve way more love.
Please don't lynch me.
You're just begging for replies with that, you know?
That is the opposite of raging and for that I'm thankful.I AM UPSET
I kid you not the last person I said this to got upset.
Fate/stay night [Realta Nua] for the Vita.
Yes, I am playing a visual novel in a languge I don't understand.
I am not a smart man.
I do like the new versions of all the music tracks.
Funny because no-one really gives a damn? Are you... stupid?
Is the Kotomine Theme, you know, that organ music which plays in his church when Shirou visits it, awesomely remixed? Please tell me it is.
It's not really that different from the original at all.A shame.
Are you... stupid? Not when he's riding someone's else coattails in the process.
This is "what are you currently playing now" thread.
Stop trying to be needlessly "edgy" and "cool". You just make yourself look like an ass.
I for one, give a damn.
Playing Rusty Hearts and Cosmic Break. Both MMOs.TEN POINTS FROM GRYFFINDOR!
Took a break from the MMOs to start Fallout: New Vegas.
Especially Cosmic Break
Who can say No to this?
Got a Vita. Beat Uncharted: Golden Abyss, loved it.i'm probably getting gifted that. How long is then?
i'm probably getting gifted that. How long is then?
Playing NiGHTS Into Dreams... on PC.Yea, ever since it came to XBLA and PSN, I'm itching to get this. Like right now. Why must the choices of my Xbox shopping has to be hard for me? :'(
Yeah, it's released.
I'm so horrible at this, I couldn't even unlock the last dream and now I need to do better. FFFF...
Right now I'm just messing with SFxMM, will check out the secret boss and other hidden stuff.
Only one boss left to get a Lv.4 win (the second water boss).THAT was your last Lv.4?! All you had to do is screw-halberd his face into oblivion.
Playing Retro City Rampage (http://www.trueachievements.com/Retro-City-Rampage/achievements.htm?gamerid=284902), yay! :cookie:Good game, that one. Plus, with music one (in part) by virt, you know it's gotta be good.
ZX > ZXAseconded. so much.
SRt3 is ridiculously fun to mess around in. Even moreso in Co op
Too bad story wise its so [tornado fang]ing short, kinda just ending as it gets good.Yeah, that does really suck. It broke away from the previous 2 games in that they were 3 parallel storylines that were happening at once, while 'the Third' was just one single story with a couple branches. Plus, the 3 enemy gangs didn't even have different symbols! Well... There's always SR4.
Can't remember if I said this here, but the ZX fever made me track down a sealed copy of Mega Man Zero Collection for the DS. I own the GBA carts, but games look so much better on the 3DS than on the GBA/DS, and it's nice to have all of them in one pack.
It's really just an excuse to play the Zero games from scratch again. I'll try to unlock everything like I did with ZX, except maybe the insane requirements like 100P average.
Should be here tomorrow. Can't wait!
If not, then I'll do randoms, and also throw in The Walking Dead somewhere. >0<
Yeah. There's no way I'd buy the game (used, even worse) at that price. I just think it's sad because it doesn't look like I have a lot of alternatives to finally play Legends 2. :\Emulation.
the store I'm doing work placement at had two copies of MML2 go through within one month. They were sold at $59.99. Well one was at least. The second was traded for a fully boxed copy of Lunar. Still, that sounds like inflated prices because of demand or something. It takes just one overpriced auction to offset all the others.
Like, I imagine my copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy could go anywhere from $100 - $200 depending how much some dumb people are willing to bid.
EDIT: Okay yeah uh,
(http://dl.dropbox.com/u/30839884/othershit/mpt.jpg)
some people are just so full of [parasitic bomb]. don't ever do "Buy It Now"
BloodRayne
jiggle jigglebite bite
Again, more Banjo-Kazooie. Decided to use the infinite air cheat, because I got sick and tired of drowning, from Rusty Bucket Bay and onwards, but not because of that, I suck at swimming underwater. The controls just seem to [parasitic bomb] on me once I'm in water.
The camera really sucks at staying still at times when I have to make a cautious jump.
Picking up Metroid Prime. I didn't like it and dropped it halfway through but friend convinced me to give it another go.you're a braver man than me. I just could not find any motivation to trek through the entire thing. The giant fetchquest at the end utterly killed it.
About halfway through Dishonored. What sort of run are you doing?
What sort of run are you doing?
except Sly 3 that one gets kinda dumb for trophies though I imagine you've gone through worse.
Get Journey! This game is art porn at its finest~ 0v0
I'm close to wrapping up BlazBlue CS's story mode, just a few characters and side-stories until the True Ending. The "Help Me, Prof. Konone!" segments are hilarious. So far my favorite ones are from Makoto, Noel, Arakune and Jin's.[spoiler]Terumi is a huuuuge troll and a dick, but Relius is in a class of dickery of his own. You played Carl's story yet?[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Makoto's Bad Ending in CS Extend]At least these cheered me up after seeing Makoto getting her mind raped by Relius Clover, what a bastard![/spoiler]
I was recommending it to Vixy...
[spoiler]Terumi is a huuuuge troll and a dick, but Relius is in a class of dickery of his own. You played Carl's story yet?[/spoiler][spoiler=Relius]Oh yeah, before I got to Makoto's actually. I bought a Classic Controller Pro. The grip seems much better and the button placement too. Let's test this thing with a SNES VC game.Plus it feels like a PS2 controller. :D
[spoiler=Relius]Oh yeah, before I got to Makoto's actually. What kind of sick [tornado fang] turns his wife and daughter into Nox Nyctores (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AndIMustScream)? No wonder Carl lost his faith in adults...[/spoiler][spoiler]Well, I suggest you get to Relius and Valkenhayn's story modes, if you have them unlocked. You will learn a bit about why he's such a sick [tornado fang]. Especially in his own story, of course.
[spoiler]Well, I suggest you get to Relius and Valkenhayn's story modes, if you have them unlocked. You will learn a bit about why he's such a sick [tornado fang]. Especially in his own story, of course.[spoiler=Quoting spoiler]I got to Valkenhayn's already, but I still haven't gotten to Relius' yet. I still have Lambda-11, Platinum, Relius, and Hazama's story left. I've already 100% the story of everyone else. I was recommending it to Vixy...
DmC: Devil May cry.
May god have mercy upon me.
My brother downloaded it on PC, so I'm playing it a little...
[spoiler=Intro Mission in DmC]At one point of the beginning, we see DmC Dante with his pretty-boy white hair but it was just a wig!
WHAT DA [tornado fang]!
If he stayed a white-haired pretty boy, that woulda changed everything for me! I wanted to slam my brother's deck and start a seismic tremor after that... ;O;[/spoiler]
-EDIT-
[spoiler=Relating to spoiler above]Oh that's real nice to make DMC3 Dante as DLC in DmC! I thought Hazama from BlazBlue and DiamondTiaraBros. were the biggest trolls here. B([/spoiler]
From everyone I know that played it, it wasn't bad. I guess it's a matter of opinion.
it doesn't live up to previous titles
"There was an ice world??"
So, I decided to just play it, just to rake up more achievements to my current game score.
You're the worst kind of person. And that's a fact, cuz people can't stand players, who play for score, instead of enjoying the gameplay.
Oh, and it also makes me a better player than you.
Oh, and it also makes me a better player than you.[tornado fang]. OFF.
Oh, and it also makes me a better player than you.
It's your first time playing? You'll enjoy the rest of the adventure, with plenty of laughter and dialogs to read~ :3
Playing Sly Cooper Thieves in Time and loving it. It´s so much better then the other 3. <3I am holding you to this bold statement.
Phoenix Wright. Man, I'm having a blast. I'm also writing up copious notes in a tiny notebook and amassing a collection of clues and piecing together the cases with more detail than the game has, and I'm wishing I could input my own statements. I badger and needle the witnesses like crazy and over-analyze everything. Pixel-hunting during the investigative portion, talking to everyone, taking copious amounts of notes, most of which are needless, studying expressions and body language, and assigning nicknames to everyone.
Everyone is a dirty, filthy, guilty pile of crap. Everyone. Look at those shifty eyes!
I am holding you to this bold statement.Heh, i played small marathon of 1 2 3. 1 was so annoying with its 1 Hit K.O. 2 was annoying cause of checkpoints and 3 was a bit better.
and Klavier is cool.
I need a DS and the actual game. My saved game isn't on my computer! But, I'm still loving the hell out of Phoenix Wright.
DS Phats are more durable though.
No worries everyone. I'm going to ship Quickie my old DS Phat.
I'm a hero! 8)
I'm a hero! 8)
True. But after owning all three versions of the DS, I can say the Phat has the worst screen of the bunch. Especially when you're in a bright place, you can barely see anything on the screen. Both DS lite and DSi have a much brighter display.
I don't understand why the DSi is even a worthwhile option when there's the 3DS. The lite at least, as you said, has the backwards compatibility with the GBA.
I can't play my DS games on my 3DS because the upscale makes everything so [tornado fang]ing ugly.
You are seriously exaggerating, I barely even notice it myself.
Yeah, it just means you have the disc.Do i now? My disc drive on my Ps3 is broken and the game is not on the PSN network. Ill add a video in a moment. ;)
I'm not going to watch the video, but I'll guess that you did a PSP-PS3 transfer of a homemade POPS eboot?NOPE!
i don't get why you're making a big deal about thisYou're not the only one.
I mean try to play Sonic with a keyboard. What are you talking about, I can kick ass at Sonic CD with a keyboard.
Kid Chameleon... is tough... and freaking long. Dunno if I have the motivation to start over.
I did finish Dynamite Headdy and Ristar, both excellent! :D
To this day, I don't think I've ever played a game harder than Kid Chameleon. I never finished and I never will.
Microvolts is like TF2Why does everyone force this connection? It's not even class-based, for [tornado fang] sake! I mean, AFAIK it USED to be an exact copy of TF2 before it released, but now I'd compare it more to HL2DM or Duke Nukem or something.
mvrage.jpg
Tales of Symphonia.
If you haven't played it already, prepare to be awed. Amazing game.Symphonia's one of my GC games that my older brother had in his collection. Too bad I don't have access it to enjoy on my Wii. He sold it. ;O;
I hardly play it. :\So, you're making the comparison because...?
Those were my thoughts on it.You have not answered the question.
Many of the sound effects are the same, it has the same kind of humor, generally same weapons, etc.
Calm down, Supercutt.
There's no reason to get angry, or even angry-like.
Anyone played Hero mode in Skyward Sword? Is it challenging? I'm in the mood to play a Zelda game, but nothing as easy as Ocarina of Time or as brutal as 1 or 2...
Well, I think this is the third time I try to start Skyward Sword on Hero and give up in the first hour...
I don't know if the game is really that slow or if I'm just getting old. Anyway, I guess 1 year of waiting wasn't enough to make me want to go through it again. Maybe some other time.
Thanks for the replies!
I hear it's alot of people's least favorite Zelda ever.

[tornado fang] how do I beat the boss who has that jumping monkey thing that shoots fireballs
[tornado fang] I've been stuck on that [sonic slicer] for weeks
Very Carefully.
Actually original Castlevania, like I mentioned earlier.
Boss #3, I think.
I just livestreamed some MMX2 for a couple of friends and a few random invites.
inb4 ruri says he was right or whatever he said he was joking later.
wutI thought you were going to make a comeback involving "poop" so I specified he was joking.
I'm unaware as to what 'antics' you are referring to.I meant your general behavior.
The new one? Cause there are a shitload of Naruto games.Yeah. It's the new one.
Yes, they did very awesome work with Solatorobo too~ <3I need to get to play that eventually.
I can't believe I wasted five hours of my life beating Megaman X3. I don't even know why I even bothered, but there I went slugging through all of the shitty enemies and levels, getting frustrated as [parasitic bomb].
Though, X3 does have a couple of redeeming factors. The subweapons are actually a bit more useful (although partly due to the upgraded X-Buster being so broken as [parasitic bomb]), and the Head-E is a godsend.
:o
.....five hours?
I haven't finished X3 on my copy of X Collection just for that godawful music.
I found an iso of Sim Theme Park and I still have my old Gold Edition disc!are you aspiring to become a carbon copy of me or successor in the future like seriously what the [tornado fang] man. this is too much.
Childhood HOOOOOOO!
are you aspiring to become a carbon copy of me or successor in the future like seriously what the [tornado fang] man. this is too much.i miss my copy
although i still have mine fully boxed and all so you've still got a ways to go
He's not worthy of being your successor.few are. to even hope to reach my level, one must go on a 4 year journey of self-discovery and in the process amass 200+ avatars of Dr. Ivo Robotnik and then sacrifice them to the Great Recycle Bin upon the Great Epiphany of Indifference and carry on life in minimal interaction and slight delusion towards all aspects of the outside world.

true story
Still venturing through Etrian Odyssey IV. Made it to Land 3, taking my sweet time.
That game, Dark Spire, and Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey are the only games that almost made me get a DS.
DS has more to offer than just dungeon crawlers.TWEWY, Radiant Historia, and others are also great reasons to get a DS.
Fooling around in Gundemonium Collection now that I bought it...
My only problem so far is that Hitogata Happa is confusing as hell
The effective way to defeat bosses is to sacrifice your player character by crashing into them. XDYeah, I noticed!!
That game, Dark Spire, and Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey are the only games that almost made me get a DS.
Skyward Sword doesn't use the pointer though. It uses the motion controls. Just press down on the d-pad to center it.
Bioshock Infinite. Great game, but the ending is super confusing until I think about it for a while, then I think I get it, and then it all falls apart again.
I don't have Space Marine, but I do have Kill Team since it's a Shoot'em Up (shmup) type game (http://www.trueachievements.com/Kill-Team/achievements.htm?gamerid=284902). I'm slow-pacing that game tho, since I have a huge backlog of other games to finish. ^^;
Didn't knew that was a shoot 'em up. Is it any good?
Think of it like a overhead action shooter, similar to Smash TV. It has some good moments, worth a trial run at least. ^^
Skyrim.
Maybe some archeologist will find my body one day, hunched over my keyboard.
Close to the end of Skyward Sword on Hero. With the Heart Medallion, there's pretty much no challenge. I'm enjoying this playthrough better than my first, though.
With that example and being familiar with Beat Hazard, then I might try it out. Thanks.Im playing the PC version.
That reminds me, I need to get back to playing Skyrim on my Xbox someday, although BioShock and El Shaddai's surrealism has gotten my hands full.

Half-Life 2: Episode One [PC]
Half-Life 2: Episode Two [PC]
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands [Wii]
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance [Wii]
Artilerry F [PC]
Poker Night 2
Unlocked the Sam & Max and Borderlands items so far. Actually takes a bit of effort this time with this new bounty system they've got. Just glad I got Handsome Jack's Mask for the Spy in TF2 already.
Good to know you're getting into Artillery F (psst...everybody here should play it if they like Megaman Zero and Metroid). By the way, you want me to continue that lucky streak of generosity (http://steamcommunity.com/id/suppercut/inventory/#753)?
On another note, I ALSO got Poker Night at the Inventory 2 for myself. Gonna play that when it installs.
give me your steam name or whatever and i will resolve this. just this once though maybe.
I think out of RPM users, I only hava Gaia as a friend.i snickered
I'm eying that Garry's Mod.I wish I could point to a specific item in my inventory. Since that's what I was trying to do. But clearly it didn't want to do that. Oh well.
By the way, anyone getting Poker Night 2...don't waste your money. Save it for A.R.E.S. or something. Unless you're reeeeeeally desperate for some terrible TF2 / BL2 items.I couldn't care less about the items, even if I tried.
i snickered
Anyway, I'll add you, Tron.Judging by the steam avatar, it was you that I accepted.
I couldn't care less about the items, even if I tried.
It's more about the stuff that happens in the game itself and the characters for me.
Besides, this game has BROCK [tornado fang]ing SAMSON!
And Sam.
And GladOS.
Screw anything else.
Poker Night 2Wish I could play this and Poker Night 1... :(
I think I have like 5 steam games, a couple were given as a gift :/Pretty much the same with me; only 7 of my Steam games I actually bought (Beat Hazard + Ultra DLC, Borderlands 1: Game of the Year Edition, Recettear and Chantelise, Breath of Death VII and Cthulhu Saves the World, and Cave Story+), the other games I got from a friend as a gift (Terraria and the games from Indie Royale's Summer Bundle of 2012) or got completely for free (Portal 1 and Metro 2033).
Never about what I said earlier about Cry of Fear. Apparently it's officially free-to-play on Steam
Forgot to mention NO MODDING NEEDED. Just download and have pleasant dreams~ 8D

Cool, you played the game which is a quick 25-30 hour completion. ^^ (http://psnprofiles.com/trophies/1859-%E9%96%83%E4%B9%B1%E3%82%AB%E3%82%B0%E3%83%A9-SHINOVI-VERSUS/VixyNyan)
I'm almost done with PSO2 myself, just have to level up the classes and reach Story Chapter 10. (http://psnprofiles.com/trophies/1862-%E3%83%95%E3%82%A1%E3%83%B3%E3%82%BF%E3%82%B7%E3%83%BC%E3%82%B9%E3%82%BF%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AA%E3%83%B3%E3%83%A9%E3%82%A4%E3%83%B3%EF%BC%92/VixyNyan)
Human Error [Source Mod]These two are brilliant Source games. By the way, remind me this weekend to work on a walkthrough for Artillery F. It really needs one of those, amirite?
The Stanley Parable [Source Mod]
Oh, Vixy, you played this too? What ship are you in? Mine's 2.
These two are brilliant Source games. By the way, remind me this weekend to work on a walkthrough for Artillery F. It really needs one of those, amirite?
Picked up Battle Network 1Why the [tornado fang] would you do that to yourself?
Why the [tornado fang] would you do that to yourself? You're lucky I'm so pissed off at not being able to beat Woodman like I did last time I played.
Pick up 2 or 3 to start off. 1 is a [tornado fang]ing weak game. WEAK AS [parasitic bomb].
I just beat P4 True End. All Social Links, all Quests complete, every character has their Ultimate weapon.
Can't wait till I can get golden.
I can't believe I found my old cart for that. Pretty mediocre game but it's nostalgic.
Mediocre game and mediocre series.
Edit: Speaking of TF2 I am beginning to get the hang of SFM. Here's Freeman with his Freebuster!

YES. YES. YES.I am so making that a texture mod :D
dude you should make an F-saber and it should be like the Z-saber but a crowbar.
Travis is my favorite new character this gen.
FINALLY, my Fire Emblem addiction has waned... Not gone, but I'm stepping down.Apatheosis, I take? Or just cuz?
FINALLY, my Fire Emblem addiction has waned... Not gone, but I'm stepping down.
Astra has it's moments as well, especially if you have a high crit chance.
Oh yeah, Rogue Galaxy is a fantastic game. ^.^Man, I remember the nostalgia attacks just playing it on emulator (which sucked because none of my computers can handle it). If I can play it with a real controller on my TV... 0v0
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3
I'm playing Half-Life 2, and I found out that the broken rollermine that DOG plays with just before the Ravenholm chapter can not only be taken to the next level, but actually stays active in between maps, following me around and distracting zombies.
My childhood favorite was Jaster, but I really enjoyed playing as Kisala back when I played it on emulator.
You know, whenever Kisala DIDN'T cause my characters to fall through the map. Damn glitchy emulator...
And don't you mean Zegram?
Well, some sound advice...throw any and all Sol abilities out the window. Be ready with Vantage and Luna/Veangance.Huh, Vantage/Vengeance, why didn't I think of that? ...well, there is the fact that I hate maintaining low HP as a deliberate part of strategy; I've experimented with Vantage and really dislike how easily it can get you killed in higher difficulties.
Ghost Trick.
You have very good taste.
I'm curious, did you decide to play this because of Ace Attorney?
I find Maya much more charming, personally.
After the first game, Ema doesn't appear again until Apollo Justice (4th game).
Well that makes sense, only AA1 has an extra case on the DS, right?
What the [tornado fang] is wrong with naming Pokemon?
Good sirs and madams of RPM, I would like to propose to thou a question of utmost interest,
What the [tornado fang] is wrong with naming Pokemon?
Absolutely nothing at all. Would you like to see a list of all the goofy names I gave to my Pokemon?Actually, sure, go ahead :3
What the [tornado fang] is wrong with naming Pokemon?Nothin' at all. During my competitive battling days in D/P, I always nicknamed my mains. Heck, I even nicknamed the color palates I made for Virtual-ON: Oratorio Tangram since the console version gives you the option.
I've finally started to hit A Link To The Past. I'm not sure what my problem was before. This game isn't as hard as I remember it. I've just defeated Agahnim and now I'm trying to figure out how to get ahold of the Moon Pearl. (I seriously couldn't find out how to access that thing when I went through the tower.)[spoiler]use one of the holes in the floor above to drop down onto the platform[/spoiler]
A.R.E.S.
Fun little Megaman like shooter I got on steam.
It's a sad shame that a lot of people who play Catherine are slow perverts. I always find myself screaming at their Let's Plays, "You [tornado fang]ing idiot! No, don't 'undo' that, you retard! That was a good move! You do that and then you push that block and-- No! You're making it worse! OHMYFUCKINGGODGIVEMETHISGAMESOICANDOTHISMYSELFYOUFUCKINGWANKERS"
yet another copypasta from my Facebook
It's very easy to make mistakes, especially in puzzle games.I can understand mistakes. I can't understand a guy sitting there going "Durrrrrr, what do I do? This is too hard."
Project X Zone, I'm 9 Hours in and the game is starting to drag on and get repetitive. It's actually not that bad. The item drops are common enough that you can rack up the XP for your super attacks fairly easily, so long as you have a decent enough mob on the boss.
Holy [parasitic bomb], where are X & Zero, I mean I just got Yuri & Estelle but seeing as I'm heading towards Marvel Land I don't think I'll be seeing them anytime soon.
Game's still fun, but [tornado fang] the bosses, hit-sponge hell.
Animal Crossing New Leaf and Oracle of Ages. I think I'm going to hate the Mini-Games in Ages so so much.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64 via Project 64 - HD via Glide64 + Bluedart Texture Pack)Wait you mean DS emulation doesn't suck anymore? How's your sound?

And there's your explanation as to why I haven't been online much lately.
I...don't remember it being this difficult and complicated... 8U
Its quite fun but i'm kind of seeing why people got irritated with PXZ getting so monotonus.
That's one of the big reasons why I didn't buy it. Another big reason being that there's apparently very little strategy to winning.
Whereas with Awakening, every move you make counts.
Its fanservice.
Yeah, that's basically what my post translates to.
Well what would you expect from a game like this? I would've loved something deeped but oh well.
LOLHey, don't forget, I wasn't ultra-pro back then and I'm only slightly more ultra-pro than I was now. I simply don't remember it being this hard. I wasn't saying I am getting my ass kicked here, I just found the difficulty level surprising given my memories of it.
That's the complete opposite of KHII.
Decided to try out Namco X Capcom.NxC is actually at a much slower pace than PxZ, though, since enemy attacks take forever. PxZ only resorts to enemy cutscenes when a boss uses a special attack. Also, I appreciate the fact that PxZ has a solid turn structure (the fact that every character actually does move once per turn). One of my pet peeves in NxC is the fact that your "defensive" commands radically impact the turn order; to such a degree that defending yourself against a boss can lead to the boss attacking the same character multiple times before said character ever has the chance to do anything else. Ditto for Multiple Assaults. It makes it very difficult to actually determine what the best move is because you only have a rough idea of how a given action will impact your turn order. In PxZ you're worried strictly about managing the XP bar, which makes it easier to plan.
There's plenty of differences between this and PXZ, PXZ runs at a choppier framerate, there's no XP in NxC, and unlocking the Up and Down Moves in PXZ is a drag where in NxC you have them already.
Its quite fun but i'm kind of seeing why people got irritated with PXZ getting so monotonus.
So it's all show and no fluff. They rake in the profits from all the big-name characters joined in one roster. And just what the hell is wrong with fanservice? Seriously, I'm asking this as somebody who sank hundreds of hours into FE Awakening's Lunatic + Mode. Not every games needs to be a ball-breaking-dominate-your-life challenge. I'm loving the introduction to characters whose games I rarely play, and hell, it's REIJI AND XIAOMU MEET X AND ZERO, that's reason enough.
*sigh* I was worried about that.
Isn't that just... One map?Not THAT early. I think it's somewhere in the teens. But IIRC it's a little watered down as compared to the actual game's map.
Its also a really early map in the game.
I expected it to let the player ponder about their next move, and not just spam random attacks to win. What little strategy there is really has little to do with the map and more to do with how you time your attacks in order to do the most damage (and/or milk the most XP to enable skills/attacks later). It's simple, yes, but it's more engaging than you might think.

Nobody who's ever played Yoshi Story judges a game solely by it's challenge, and I suppose PxZ may be best described as the strategy equivalent to that. While it's extraordinarily difficult to "game over", there is definitely an advantage to knowing how to manage your attacks, items, and skills. Beat down the optional high-level characters and you get better items to use later. But if you want to suck and get by on the minimum, well, you can probably still clear the levels without too much trouble.
Never died yet, and it's rare that I have to "revive" a fallen teammate. But I will say this: KOS-MOS's intro level was pretty nerve-wracking.
"That's reason enough"? Was it really that simple to make you cough up dough for this? It's Iris. If they made a real-life replica of her, he'd probably spend his life savings to purchase it. :P
It's Iris. If they made a real-life replica of her, he'd probably spend his life savings to purchase it. :P
Oh, there's absolutely nothing wrong with fanservice. Only when said fanservice is just that and basically nothing else to swallow with it. It may be great to see all these famous characters in one game, but if there's little-to-no strategy in a STRATEGY game, then... it's not justifying the genre at hand, now is it?The thing is, I figured out in 1989 (http://www.gamefaqs.com/nes/587309-godzilla-monster-of-monsters) that just because a game features characters moving on a board, doesn't necessarily mean that unit positioning is the meat of the experience. In PxZ, there's juggling in combat, there's customization in managing your gear and third-unit pairings, there is the need to plan ahead for the all-too-common Boss Counter-Attacks (and having multiple bosses on the map is a regular thing once you get far enough), and there is the whimsical appeal of watching the dialogue between these characters who don't otherwise interact in any other game ever (Zero talking to Devilotte is hilarious). Is it repetitive? Well, yes, but if that in itself is considered a criticism then there are probably better places to hang on the internet than a Mega Man community...
"That's reason enough"? Was it really that simple to make you cough up dough for this? No. It was that simple to get me to cough up dough to install a flip-top on my PS2 and import Namco X Capcom.
I'm extremely creeped out by that thought. :oDon't worry, I wouldn't buy it. ...I'd have nightmares of a replica-Zero slicing me in half.
Finally beat Kingdom Hearts 2 on normal.
I can't play Doom 64 or Doom 3 BECAUSE it's lacking the sick metal riffs.Brutal Doom's metal remixes should be up your alley then. It'so metal, it was approved Dethklock as "So Metal, It's Awesome". >0<
Is it repetitive? Well, yes, but if that in itself is considered a criticism then there are probably better places to hang on the internet than a Mega Man community...
I'd also submit to you that the Game Over screen isn't a terribly common sight in Fire Emblem either; rather the game's perma-death system (optional in Awakening) mandates perfection.
I downloaded the demo for Project X Zone and I actually really liked it, but I liked it in the pick-up-and-play randomly way where extended play sessions might get exhausting and repetitive (yes, I'm on the it's-kind-of-repetitive side). It's a game I could play in small doses and enjoy thoroughly - I mean it looks great - but as a full-price game I just can't justify it. Maybe once it comes used or discounted on the eShop (like that'll ever happen), but for now I'll have to make due with the 3 remaining uses on my demo download. >_>

The Playstation version? Holy [parasitic bomb]. :oYeah the Playstation version, worse yet I saw Xenoblade for about $250.
Though I think the PS1 version is available on the PSN Store so its not that big of a deal.
I wonder how relevant that phenomenon will be now that most games are also available as downloads? Unless you're a hardcore collector, why would you pay $90 for a physical game that you have to wait for while it comes in the mail when you could just download the digital version immediately at half the price? Obviously there are a lot of collectors out there already buying these high-priced oldies side-by-side with the just-wanna-have-fun crowd, but I imagine that will start changing soon with ONLY collectors being willing to buy the physical versions. I could be wrong though!I imagine a lot of that has to do with whether or not said digital shop is still active. Servers and digital selection are not eternal, after all. The same-gen stuff, like the first run of Phoenix Wright on the DS, probably wont happen as often (but it probably will happen, since the digital alternative is not a universal thing).
Yeah the Playstation version, worse yet I saw Xenoblade for about $250.
Get lucky and find games for cheap or free at yard sales. My brother made off with a number of Dreamcast games for free after I took him to a place where someone was putting their stuff out for trash pickup.OoOohHhHh, you could get a haaaaunted caaaartridge doing thaaaaat~
also trying to finish Pyschonauts after just suddenly forgetting about it. On the final level and it's pretty obnoxious. Also one of the characters introduced late in the game has literally the most goddamn annoying voice I have heard in my entire life. I cannot adequately express my distaste for its stupidly high pitched whining tone and the grating it puts on the ears.
i had AssCreed Liberation sitting in my Vita for about 5 months but it's a boring piece of [parasitic bomb] so I went back to maybe finish Uncharted Golden Abyss. Really liking it but holy [parasitic bomb] it feels long. Still not caught up to the flash forward used in the intro level.
I bought the Liberation Vita bundle on Black Friday. Still haven't played the game, nor do I have the motivation to.honestly the only worthwhile AC to try is 2.
I thought Golden Abyss is a pretty good Uncharted experience, though not nearly as great as Among Thieves. That game is something everyone should play. It does indeed feel long, and I believe that's because it has the most chapters out of all the games in the franchise.
At the very least, I enjoyed it more than Drake's Deception, which I was really disappointed in. Among Thieves raised my hopes up way too much.
Naughty Dog has some of the best writer's I've ever seen. The Last of Us was a work of art.
Was it a good game or a good movie?
Both.
That said I didn't actually play it. I watched an LP. Surprisingly the cutscenes weren't as long as I expected. I think the longest was maybe 4-5 minutes. The ending was only a couple minutes long. On the same note even the gameplay felt like a movie.
VVVVVV was some of the biggest bullshit I've dealt with in a long while and I'm not sure if that's entirely up to the level design or the stupid [tornado fang]ing slippery momentum that's incredibly prevalent in any game like this that drives me up the wall. I can forgive it all though, because the music is [tornado fang]ing gorgeous. It's not strictly limited to the actual capabilities of 8bit but it's still some of the best chiptunes I've heard.
Nice!i had a celebratory bowl of pretzels and then a mini red velvet cupcake my sis made earlier
I imagine you felt extremely relieved to have conquered it, like I did.
started Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.
very much an improvement, very in-depth. The meter for sound made and what is currently an audible level for guards is a great addition. My nitpicking has been thoroughly appeased so far. only real thing of minor irking is simply the outdated graphics, and even then just how laughably bad and outright unsettling the in-game facial models and animation are. Everything else meanwhile holds up very well, with some much needed dynamic lighting and such.
What are you currently playing?
My new computer just got in.you will play rogue galaxy on pcsx2
EVERYTHING ON MY STEAM ACCOUNT AND TORRENT CLIENT
you will play sky gunners and parappa the rapper 2 on pcsx2
Golden is a billion times easier than the original, maybe you won't notice it to begin with but it'll become apparent soon enough.
I'm going to [acid burst] Irgy off and say that I'm back to playing Borderlands 2. Yay lv25pffft. I hardly touched that thing lately. Though there's a new DLC out in like 1 week. Level cap raise and some new level with challenges.
I was playing JoJo All-Star Battle yesterday Since my copy finally arrived and... I also got the Platinum trophy yesterday too. Guess I'm going back to FFXIV now.

Sounds like a really easy game. Is it?
How was JoJoa ASB? My friend really wants it.
It's great as a JoJo game capturing the feel of the manga but pretty mediocre as a fighter. It's great fun as long as you're not looking for deep gameplay and just a fun JoJo experience.
Heh... just wait until you die to the final boss... bVdYeah, I already know about that... B(
Just want to share this lovely piece of hatemail (http://i.imgur.com/B7JzTRd.jpg) I got in Demon's Souls a few minutes ago.He should file one of these. (http://i520.photobucket.com/albums/w324/THEWHIZY3K/butthurt-form.jpg)

So I just finally realized BitComet can be used as a download client, which means through the client, direct downloads (as in, not torrent downloads) can be interrupted. Since the biggest problem with emulation for me was the fact that I couldn't interrupt direct downloads and I couldn't find good torrents, this find has resulted in a HUGE Sony Emulation stint for me. So yeah. I'm still playing AC3 but now I've booted up Dolphin, ePSXe, and PCSX2 and I'm playing:
If anybody here has KING OF FIGHTERS XIII STEAM EDITION, fite me irl. please.I have the [tornado fang]ing PS3 version with terribad netcode.

If the caps lock bothers an admin, I will change it back right away.
If you're this aware that the capitals are annoying I don't understand why you'd still post them.It was supposed to be a joke, but I... oh, well all right.
I genuinely loved it. I also believe it had a more than decent story, better dialog and voice acting would have done it better justice, however. I did find it to have a decent metroid feel, and I rather accept it as Super Metroid's sequel. I'll put it above any of the primes in a heartbeat. This should be expanded. Since metroid (save for the prime trilogy which kinda chills out doing its own thing... Over and over and over) seems to have been on a cycle of exploration and linear titles since its inception, expand the world, offer more freedom, bring new power ups to bring the pain, and fight those slimy Feds.
Cave Story +Did you miss them or are you challenging yourself without it?
How in the [tornado fang] are you supposed to beat the Sanctuary level without Super Missiles? >_<
Halo: Combat Evolved Online MP (PC) (I love forcing max graphics through drivers.)http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2677

I'm not really sure how that's something you're currently playing but okay.
I'm currently playing... Sly Cooper 1 HD. Or at least I will be once I get back to it.
I'm not really sure how that's something you're currently playing but okay.Well, I was currently playing the Gameboy Advance SP, and the minuscule "library" of games I have for it (which is just one, MMBN3 Blue).

I really should redownload Custom Edition.Hmm. That was probably something I should have mentioned, huh...
Was playing Megaman ZX on my 3DS last night.
Darn the slightly screwy aspect ratio. The sprites looked slightly blurred and stretched. DSi was better. >.>
Actually, I feel that DSi did stretch the sprites, but it was done in perfect ratio. Like a 200% on a 100% sprite.
3DS... It's like... Slanting.

And very little (or no) filtering on the stretched DS screen on a 3DS.Aye, the text in textboxes too. Those were very obvious as well.
You get used to it soon tho, but it's most noticeable on the life bar.
I'd say its more like instead of multiplying by 2 it was multiplying by 1.5 or some other non exact ratio.240 / 192 = 1.25
Which causes them to look muddled and ugly.
Finished up Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic Heroes (PC) (http://www.trueachievements.com/Star-Wars-the-Clone-Wars-Republic-Heroes-PC/achievements.htm?gamerid=284902) within 2 days.As retail or a downloadable game on Xbox 360? And where can I find it on PC?
It was pretty fun, good platforming moments, some twin-sticks shooting action. It has co-op play too if anyone's interested.
You can find it on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS.

And where can I find it on PC?
Just don't end your subscription or anything or you'll lose access to the game. That's dumb. At least Micro$oft lets you keep whatever game they offer with their "Games with Gold" program; I have a Silver JP account yet I can still play the games I downloaded from my main U.S. account. Disappointed as hell though that we're getting Halo 3 now when there's already a Halo 4. Would of love to have RE4 HD, Shadows of the Dammed, or Deadly Premonition for the Halloween season.
Oh god Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax has a new trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsC2cw8OqQQ).
Pokemon X & Y.
SIMULTANEOUSLY
Been playing Arkham Origins since Thursday. What a fantastic game, though not without flaws (mainly technical, sadly).
I wish they'd do a Batman Beyond game.
You're [tornado fang]ing with me, right?
Someone I know on FB said the exact same [tornado fang]ing thing.
Tyrian. Best bullet hell shooter I've ever played.
This guy right here.
I was hoping someone here shared my love for Tyrian.
Call of Duty: Ghosts (Not just bad, but disgusting.)
Why would you buy that piece of [parasitic bomb]?
Buy?
Oh, man, you're hilarious.
Why would you Play it?
Feel kinda bad for admitting it but I'm playing ICO for the first time (sorry if this sounds like a review)
Loving it so far, as someone who appreciates the minimalist story telling of games like Demons and Dark Souls I love how how the world is presented in ICO, every room and object tells a story much like the two Souls games, more is said through imagery than dialogue. The lack of music outside certain parts might annoy some but I think it adds to the ambiance of the game, creepy yet oddly soothing to experience if that makes any sense.
The game play is...yeah it's an early PS2 game re-released or not, I find I'm fighting with the camera way too much and combat just isn't fun. But the escort aspect is oddly...something I'm enjoying it not only adds to the puzzle solving but also the ambiance of the game.
Hell, even now, certain moments in that game are still breathtaking.
The soundtrack still gives me goosebumps.
51 levels done and I still haven't seen the credits in Super Mario 3D World. The game managed to fool me twice with the fake final boss. The last couple of "official" worlds are SO good. Very difficult and creative.
Also, this (http://youtu.be/-dxwj4Sds7E) castle music!
Bravely Default.
Perhaps I'll DL the Demo!
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3...on Very Easy. Man, I suck at fighting games.
Perhaps I'll DL the Demo!
Basically just some starter equipment, there's like seven packs.
And for some reason the Demo has like a sort of post game boss, as odd as it sounds.
You definitely should. It's really difficult, as the enemies are powerful from the get-go.Yeah, it's because the demo starts you off in an area that's a tiny bit into the game. Also the fetch quests in the demo aren't indicative of the quests in the full game, which are more involved with much better rewards.
From what I've heard, only the demo is like that though. The full game should start off with fair difficulty.
I can really do without the horrible one liners from the edgy angle/demon hybrid protag. You didn't need to be so obtuse about it
You didn't need to be so obtuse about itWhen I hear "Yummy, I love the taste of evil souls in the morning!" some 10-20 times per level, it gets old real fast. Also jarring to the fairly serious and semi-atmospheric intro they had going for this guy. It's supposed to be Belial and he goes on about his hatred and vengeance on basically everything, then immediately starts talking like a total dork 5 minutes into the first level.
There's also Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. Tell me, how similar is the combat system to BBS? Because I really like it and I wish I wasn't emulating it.
And anyway, it's not worth buying. Besides the gameplay, Re:coded is absolute [parasitic bomb] and no one should ever purchase it.Really? I quite like it so far. What's so bad about it, exactly? The chip matrix system is something I'm really interested in, and the story is quite intriguing so far.
I hear Bravely Default starts to get tedious around chapter 5 or so. Is that true?Since I spoiled myself on the story I can confirm it does, I'll still get the game anyway though.
I hear Bravely Default starts to get tedious around chapter 5 or so. Is that true?
Yes. Chapter 5-7 you're doing the exact same thing over and over with almost no dialogue changes. Totally worth it, though. To be fair you also get a bit of elaboration on a few characters's backstories through all this though.
The reboot is good so I decided to try and get more into the series and download the PC version of The Forgotten Sands. If you haven't already, check out the NES Strider (heard that this one kinda has non-linear gameplay too) as well as Strider 2 (I've been enjoying this one so far) for the PS1; Strider 2 also includes a port of the original arcade game.
Way different from the Wii version. WAAAY different. Totally different game.
Thief is out. Backlogging everything else for this.
I heard it was unfocused and mediocre, compared to the previous Thief games. Then again, that's what critics said, and I'm not sure what the fans think.
I can't judge for myself until I finally get to the first game, which has been collecting dust on my GOG account.
Project X Zone
This game just goes on and on...
I think something awful said it best, but its best to not try and play large swaths of the game at once. Just like a mission a day because otherwise you burn yourself out.Sounds about right.
Lords of Shadow 2. Im finding it very hard to put down. Has its issues, but overall i think its positives outweigh the few negatives.
Particularly: this game is pretty. very very pretty. And the music is great. Much improvement over the original's score, which was good, but perhaps a bit too generically "big budget Hollywood ".
The reviews are all mostly full of bullshit.Though sadly its turning people away.
Extremely hyped for Dark Souls 2. I hate having to wait 10 days (after release) to play the game, but knowing the game stores around here, it could have been worse... *fingers crossed* *praise the sun* *Umbasa*Been playing Demons Souls and Dark Souls in preperation for Dark Souls II, I am so prepared to die...again. Common FROM My body is ready for this game. 8D
Playing Lost Pig. I just took my pants off and set them on fire.What... what game is this?!?
Tales of Symphonia still, just about done, so I'm wrapping up Sidequests and working on getting as many titles as I can.

Dark Souls 2. This game is every bit as amazing as the original.
Starting my new game+ run, they added new mobs some completely new enemies and a [parasitic bomb] ton of Red Phantoms, invasions are more common now too.
So DotNW was a rather short game, Emil and Marta die in Luin and the world ends.
How grim.
They were dead the whole time?
Nah, they went to luin and some knights went there and killed them.
Only an hour long, shortest retail game i've ever played.
Sounds like you got Game Over.
I did, but for all I care that was the end anyway, the controls were so [tornado fang]ing terrible that half the time it wouldn't register button commands. I'm not sure if that was a problem with the original release or not but it was an unwelcome surprise to have such stiff controls.
Yaiba:Ninja Gaiden Z. Its fun.
[Spoiler]TAKE A SUCK[/spoiler]
I heard it was terrible, and from what I've seen, really repetitive.Well, I kind of like it. Repetitive? maybe, but it's not exactly trying to be innovative. It's just a mindless brawler. Toss legions of enemies at you and let you have at em. Move on to the next area, rinse and repeat, with the occasional "boss" enemy, which later shows up as a regular stage enemy around the next stage.
And you NEVER use Manual on a Tales game that has Free-Running.
Yeah, I don't know what to say man. I don't have a PS3 and I haven't tried DotNW on that version. I have the original Wii title and it's really responsive, if not more responsive than Abyss 3DS.

Abyss 3DS suffers some really [tornado fang]ing massive frame drop on the overworld in some places, but aside from that it's a satisfactory port. Looks better than the PS2 version and loading times are shorter. Looks like ass in 3D though but it's tolerable.
It's still a good game and it handles beautifully, don't get me wrong. It just suffers from a bit of framerate issues and the 3D isn't done well at all (lots of ghost images and depth issues), so I suggest keeping it in 2D.
Completed main story of Megaman Star Force Leo for the first time. I'm not a pro, but Andromeda was kinda easy (beaten him at second try).
I tried out Guilty Gear for the PS1Holy [parasitic bomb]...
Speaking of Guilty Gear, I recently downloaded Guilty Gear X2 #Reload.I-No is a [sonic slicer], like, really. Especially for first time players.
For someone that's not the best at fighting games, I actually enjoy it quite a bit. However, I've yet to beat I-No.
Again, not the best...
Holy [parasitic bomb]...I'm not sure what The Hate Machine is trying to say...
Tyrian 2000
YEEAAAHHahaha. XD Honestly I did wanted to play Tyrian for some time but could never get the hang of using DOSBox (when it was v0.73). After getting some helpful tricks to make it much more easier to use with v0.74, I've been playing some other DOS games too like Jazz Jackrabbit and Doom. I really to try to see if I can re-create some fighter ships of other shoot 'em up games with the Ship Editor (the Kamui from Kamui, Phoenix Mk-II from RefleX, and the RVA-818-X-LAY from RayForce/Layer Section) but it looks like a pain to use.
YEEAAAH
YEAAAAAAAAH
I didn't find 2 to be as bad as people make it out to be. The gameplay feels better than in the first, for one. The story is where most people don't seem to like it, but I was alright with it.I can agree with that. BioShock 2 does feel more like an expansion pack to the first game, and the story felt shoehorned to me compared to the original, but I don't find it as bad as others say. One thing I will say that it really needed New Game+ like the first one did through DLC; there are tonics and plasmids late-to-end game that I wish I could carry into a new game to experiment and have fun with (plus I want to go back with overpowered weapons and destroy stuff) but alas 2K Marin didn't such a feature.
Starbound, traveling in a giant fishship is amazing.
Pokemon, trying to beat it again so I can fiddle around with friend safaris.
Animal Crossing, awwwww yeeee house buildan and furnituran
Guilty Gear PSX is very rare. He's most likely surprised from that. How to lose the respect of everyone in a forum community:
One day i'll git myself a copy of GG1
How to lose the respect of everyone in a forum community:
I, er, played it on emulator...
Finally beat Kurovadis.Oooo... Wasn't expecting to see this here. Was it hard?
The whole Ridley debate got me in the mood to play Metroid, been playing through Zero Mission and Fusion; next up Super Metroid?
I actually started Super Metroid as well, though I'm still early into the game...
Oooo... Wasn't expecting to see this here. Was it hard?not at first. But the difficulty curves up pretty quickly and then to a pretty hard level sometimes. But that's mostly the wall climbing sections which thankfully there aren't too many of.I mean it's not difficult in and of itself but the mechanic for it feels a little floaty and awkward at times. Also I didn't like the fact that you had to press up or down to do the roll move which is necessary for like the second half of the game to get anywhere.the biggest difficulty factor I found was if you don't level up enough your stats suck and then the game is really rough. I put most of mine and attack and really didn't help that much so I ended up starting a new game and putting most of it on defense an that made the game a lot more playable. despite all that that I have just said I didn't find a game to be overly difficult and it never really felt like cheap or artificial difficulty. It was mostly a legitimate challenge and even though the game is very short I felt completely satisfied when I finally beat it. :-)
I assure you, I am quite heterosexual.(http://i.minus.com/i4PdgvetXAY29.png)
I assure you, I am quite heterosexual. The, um, OTHER technicalities of that response aside, your profile states that you are androgynous.
I should have started with Super Metroid; it's really hard to go into it after playing Fusion and Zero Mission; the little changes to the game play really make a difference.
Um well... to be honest, it's among the easiest games in the series~ (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD755396F6D7201BC)
And this sucky playthrough was way back in 2009, so yea... > u <
I can more easily reach a 100% time under 1h30min now, or even less. ~w~
Trying to play Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Likely going to skip ahead to the sequels because [tornado fang] this combat and the endless stunlocking. Great way to completely destroy my interest in what looks like a pretty good game otherwise.
Metroid Prime 2 (Wii/Trilogy version).
Never did beat the game; left off AGES ago just before the Gravity Boost and am finding it very frustrating to navigate a world I barely remember. Still, I want to beat it legitimately before I go and steal some "unlock everything" save file to compensate for the fact that I have no Friend Credits.
Beat Crimson Shroud. Though apparently, beating it once doesn't give you the true ending. You have to play New Game+ for the true ending (at least I assume it's the true ending, because one person claimed that you get the real ending once you play NG+)
The game was really fun despite the easy final boss. But I don't really feel like doing NG+ at the moment, so I'm resuming The Last of Us, which continues to amaze me with its sexy visuals. Goddamn.
Yeah, the True Ending is accesible in NG+, although you have to get specific items around...chapter 3 and on, you get access to new areas that'll well...give way to the True Ending. It's also ALOT harder and you may have to grind a little to upgrade weapons and gear (as well, swap around gear, for them stats against specific enemies) and vice versa. I definitely reccomend taking your time with it. Especially on the Witch Kings @_@. (there's a room where you fight 10 of them, thankfully the dragon in the room helps you take some breathers, but it's a LOOONG battle.).
Personally, I prefer the normal ending, as it keeps that 'dark mood' intact.
I got gifted Go! Go! Nippon! on Steam, so I suppose I should play it...
You also said The Last of Us was boring, so I'm not sure what to believe.
Phi I have never misinterpreted what you've said, rather I'm just informing how you come off to certain people. May I suggest that you try to get a little less aggravated when people call you out on things?
The reason I never answered question about The Last of Us was because you asked me to keep spoiler-free when I had specifically said the thing I found boring was the story so naturally I couldn't really say much without going into detail.
First of all I've never understood why people make such a big deal about the visuals, sure they look alright from a graphics stand point but who wants to look at bunch of ruined cities and a whole lot dark caves and such? I sure don't, there's nothing remotely interesting about that.
The gameplay is alright but its nothing special and more than that its just disappointing compared to the footage they showed off before release, in fact the AI is just so laughably bad in comparison to what they had previously shown off its quite sad to see. The game is basically Uncharted if you took way all the good parts and left yourself with the mediocre, just a generic stealth/cover shooter that might have been considered impressive half a decade ago.
Ultimately the real problem I have is that at the end of the day the gameplay is used as a gating system for story progression rather than the gameplay being the defining experience, thought I might have been okay with that if the plot wasn't just a clichéd, rather dull and rather repetitive zombie movie with stellar production values. Which leaves us with generic gameplay in between segments of boring story.
It is by no means a bad game but its not nearly good enough to be worthy of the sheer amount of praise it gets.
See, was that so hard?
Bioshock Infinite got really boring like halfway through.
Woah man you can't just say that its boring and leave it at that, that's not good enough. Phi is going to make you go into detail now.
Should I fluff my post with filler sentences and pretentious language?
Honestly Infinite devolved into a shootyfest shortly after you get to Fink. Couldn't glean much entertainment out of it.
Woah man you can't just say that its boring and leave it at that, that's not good enough. Phi is going to make you go into detail now.
I'm playing Crimson Shroud, most recently. Nearly died during the battle with the Minotaur on my NG+ run. I'm tempted to equip the Falchion, as it's the most powerful sword I have, but it has the worst defense stats of all Giauque's weapons.
I may have to compensate by using Frea and her healing/enhancement abilities. I hope that'll be enough to keep Giauque alive when the heavy hitters encroach on us.
I'll get 'ya Transistor come Summer Sale.
Still waiting on Watch_Dogs. I have to pause torrents and DL in chunks because I'm on a wi-fi stick and it overheats if I put it under too much load for so long, and throttling the client's bandwidth doesn't help.
So I'm playing TF2 and CS:GO in-between.
Alright, I'm actually PLAYING Watch_Dogs now.Heh, port... afraid not.
It's pretty good. Like a modern AC with some GTA and maybe a bit of Splinter Cell mixed in.
But that's it. It's a good GAME, but a real [parasitic bomb] port. Before the optimized driver came out, it crashed my GPU twice. Now I just get a random lockup once in a while and the game resumes.
Torrenting Watch_Dogs. Gonna see what all the hype is about. Might buy if I like it.You made sure to get the crack that didn't have the bitcoin miner in it, right?
You made sure to get the crack that didn't have the bitcoin miner in it, right?
Still, I want to beat it legitimately before I go and steal some "unlock everything" save file to compensate for the fact that I have no Friend Credits.I think I have some but it has been ages since I checked all of the tokens that I have on my save.
I assume you don't want to burn effigies at bonfires? That reduces invasions greatly for that area.IIRC, burning effigies outright turns off multiplayer for like an hour. I LIKE the multiplayer. I just don't like getting invaded constantly.
Finished Mega Man Xtreme for the first time... and second... and third. You'll like Xtreme 2 if you enjoyed 1. It's FAR better. i'd call it once of the best X games ever, period. [parasitic bomb]'s brilliant.
At first I was very disappointed, but suddenly the game pulled a Symphony of the Night and added completely new levels after I beat the final boss. That was a nice surprise. It's still not without its share of flaws, though.
Controls are not perfect, especially dashing, but for a system with 2 buttons, it's not like there's a better choice. The foot upgrade makes you climb walls as if you're holding dash in the console games, which isn't always what I want. Reminds me of X7, and that can never be good.
I wish the level design was unique... that's something the classic GB games did very well, for the amount of recycling in there. Some items are switched around, but the stage layout in Xtreme is exactly the same as in the SNES. I dunno, I feel this would be a more exciting Mega Man game if I didn't know exactly where I'm going.
Still, it's quite fun. For what essentially is a de-make of MMX, they did a great job (love how fast the gameplay feels). I was going to complain that you can't skip cutscenes, but then I played Xtreme mode. Great stuff.
I never used the Zero powers, though. Wonder if they're any good.
Xtreme 2 tomorrow.
IIRC, burning effigies outright turns off multiplayer for like an hour. I LIKE the multiplayer. I just don't like getting invaded constantly.
That is just how Soul games are though, any advantages often come with an equal disadvantage. Co-Op is a huge advantage but you run the risk of being invaded as a result; honestly from my NG+ experiences Iron Keep is waaaaay worse than harvest valley for invasions.More annoying isn't just invasions, but the fact that you can be invaded regardless of being Hollow or Human. in DS1 you could only be invaded while Human. There was a reason for the way DS1 did it. You could avoid invasions by being Hollow, but miss out on Co op. in DS2 you can stay hollow and miss out on co op, AND still get invaded.
Harvest Valley is pretty easy even on NG+ and onward, the area is pretty short and strait forward and the Covetous Demon has a pretty simple attack pattern with some clear tells (if you shot out the pots hanging from the ceiling the hollows that drop will keep it busy for a few moments), the battle is even easier with magic. Banefull queen is also pretty easy; once you drain the poison she's really easy to dodge, you could summon the NPC phantom (the jester) and let him solo the boss (not sure if burning human effigies effects NPC summons).
That being said Smelter Demon isn't getting any easier; might want to summon human help for that boss fight; serious that boss can go die. :'(

You could avoid invasions by being Hollow, but miss out on Co op. in DS2 you can stay hollow and miss out on co op, AND still get invaded.I just wish invaders weren't little bitches. It wouldn't be so bad if the invaders didn't hide behind enemies all the time (or behind other invaders, when it comes to the belltower areas). Almost every time though, instead of running towards me, they run away. Cowards, the whole lot of them.
on the bright side i guess, there are only cracked eye orbs, and no regular full ones. So if you manage to hide, you can just hide till the timer runs out.
Yeah invaders are annoying but I always see it as a chance to improve my skills, learn from my mistakes and come up with new ways to deal with them ect..Thing is, there's literally no way to deal with a piece of [parasitic bomb] fast rolling in full havel's and using resonant weapon avelyn's or syan's spear on you, while monastary scimitar is in their off hand, giving them instant parry. the majority of invaders i get are all shitters who abuse the op [parasitic bomb] in the game, so I just hide.
That being said the Chameleon spell is great to troll invaders. XDI hid from a guy in No Man's wharf some time ago. he couldnt find me and eventually i started hearing "very good" carvings from him lol
Finished Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. That's a magically good question.
To keep things short: Overrated trash with crippling design flaws that bog down the good aspects.
So, basically like every other Ubisoft Montreal game I've played. I don't know why I expected any better.
Finally got around to finding the last 20 Maiamai in Link Between Worlds. I've been putting that off for way too long...
Finished Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.
Going to be Shovel Knight, once it's finished downloading.
Yeah, Shovel Knight for me too. It's so much fun~
Most fun game in a long while~ :cookie:Is that that cameo thing you we talking about a while back?
I'm wrappin' up Shovel Knight, only need a few more Feats. Then to wait for the DLC content.
What will the DLC consist of?As far as I'm aware, a 4-player battle mode (including playable versions of all of the OoNQ and The Enchantress), full single-player campaigns as Plague Knight, King Knight, and Specter Knight, a Gender Swap mode, and a Challenge Mode, among other things. All free of course, since this was just the Stretch Goal stuff.
Oh those Propeller enemies that push you? They were the bane of my existence. >_<
Haha yeah, everyone who played the game says the same thing. I now see what they mean...
Beat Shovel Knight a few minutes ago. I'm going to find the last 5 music sheets before starting New Game+ and getting the rest of the feats.
And by find, I mean look for a walkthrough on how to obtain them! 8D
I recall getting 3 music sheets in one of the later stages; I forgot which one though.
But yeah, there does seem to be 2 sheets, at the very least, for the average stage. I could've sworn I obtained 2 for each stage, maybe I miscalculated.
SEED Destiny's story was terrible too, if you're going to make me go through that [parasitic bomb] the least you could do is let me play as, you know, Shinn? Not [tornado fang]ing Kira and Athrun. I want to defeat them not be them. As a whole though the Official Mode is pretty underwhelming.
I guess they figure that since Shinn's story eventually goes nowhere and leads right back to Kira & Athrun again, they'd just save you the trouble.
I recall getting 3 music sheets in one of the later stages; I forgot which one though.Tinker Knight's stage has 3 sheets because stage theme and 2 boss themes.

im playing the most american game on americas birthdayNah, the most American game is CoD.
final fantasy 7
Nah, the most American game is CoD.Nah obviously the most American game is the Duke Nukem series.
Tinker Knight's stage has 3 sheets because stage theme and 2 boss themes.
And the last 5 sheets are all in the same room in a level. So while it's usually 2 per stage, that isn't a hard number.
Yes.
It was the final level.
Oh, and I just downloaded Katawa Shoujo.
The most american game is probably Metal Wolf Chaos from what I hear. It was even on the most american console, the Xbox.
Too bad it never released outside of Japan!
Finally started Transistor. Pretty rad. Gonna not try and spoil myself on it like every goddamn other thing I've played. I say this now but I know I'll slip up somewhere later.
Tomodachi Life.
Because pretending you're playing a crossover game where anime characters live together on a small island never gets old. -u-'
Just play an actual weeb game, loser.
That reminds me I should get back to Cherry Tree High Comedy Club and Long Live The Queen.
Those sound like terrible fanfiction titles. They sound like terrible sim games to me.
I know one of those is legit for sure.Which one?

DOSBox ... HexenI prefer using Skulltag/Zandronum for playing Hexen, but okay
I prefer using Skulltag/Zandronum for playing Hexen, but okayI don't mind playing it on a sourceport, though I wanted to see how DOSBox handles BASSMIDI for Hexen before I switch over. I do wish there was a mod or something to make the HUD better in 16:9 resolutions.
As much as I hate this kid, this was uncalled for if you ask me.
Got my first Xbox 360 recently. Here's what I've played so far:
k
So I bought Rune Factory 4 because I need to play more cutesy moe cancer Japanese RPGs.
I'll admit, I'm curious in playing that game. Such a catchy opening (http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SCddqKVuSqY), too.
Also, I downloaded a game called The Saboteur. It's literally Assassin's Creed with a drunken Irish protagonist fighting for the French resistance during WWII. Every word in that sentence is true. It's amazing. Underrated as [parasitic bomb].This actually strikes my fancy a lot but it's a shame it's console only. I've seen several used copies for PS3 at the local stores if I care enough to try it anyway. Also apparently a code included for buying it new made the strippers in the game fully topless. [tornado fang]ing EA.

Picked up a translated version of the PS1 Tales of Phantasia remake.Semi-Auto is the devil. Manual all the way... too bad you need an item in the earlier games to use it.
I guess I've been out of the JRPG wagon for a while because I forgot how grindy some of these older games can be, but for what it is i'm having a relatively good time so far besides that damn semi-auto control setup. >_<
From what I remembered when I played it I liked the Semi Auto option.
I seem to recall there was an option for Manual control for the PS1 version of Phantasia (while the GBA version was gimped and forces semi-auto on you), but it has been a long time since I messed with it.Like Fxeni said, it's an item I get a little later on, I think it's called the Manual Ring. Which will suck since that means I have to sacrifice an accessory slot for it to use all the time probably, but at least I don't have anyone to play with so I don't have to do the same with Channelings.
Wait what?I got the name wrong, it's actually the Technical Ring. But yeah, this was still when the series was just starting out and the PS1 remake of Phantasia came after Destiny, so it's no surprise it's an accessory.
I swear the Manual Book is just a Key Item. Unless that's something different about Phantasia that I didn't know about. I'm sort of waiting on the PSP's X version to be translated before I play that. I also really want to play Destiny's Director's Cut as well but again without a translation its sort of tough.
There are literally two things that can get me to put down Hyrule Warriors: My wife, and Smash Bros.
Playing as Midna in Warriors is every bit as awesome as I'd imagined. Her SP attack could stand to be stronger, but she's otherwise deadly. And, despite some lousy luck with her Shackles early on, I just recently got one with Stars+, so that's cool.
Is Midna's ass still as fantastic as it was in TP?<.<
Made by Platinum, so you know what to expect. IGN and Gamespot are liars and slanderers giving it a 4/10 and 3/10. Destructoid's 7/10 is far more accurate. Don't believe the hate. It's got like a >90% approval rating on Steam. PC port is solid, though lacking in options. You better have an XInput gamepad too (or converter software for PS3/PS4/etc controllers).
the narrative is terrible, the game is short, the levels are pretty empty and unalive, and the fighting is gorgeous and fun.
Isn't this an accurate description of a Dynasty Warriors game? No, they didn't mention that YOU CANNOT DEFEAT LU BU
YOU CANNOT DEFEAT LU BU
Played FNaF with the kids. They claim that they weren't scared, yet they didn't want to go to bed.
The kids met Foxy on the first night. Then on the second night, they met Bonnie, who was lurking outside the office. They only saw Bonnie for a split second as I slammed that door shut. Later, Bonnie jammed the door and Foxy got in.
When Bonnie is staring at the camera backstage. ._.
At least you were able to wrangle the wild beast that is u(-shall-not-be-able-to-)Play(-this-game-ever). Got the damn games into uPlay, and the necessary patches or whatever to play in Offline Mode, but it decides to kill FC3 and say to go back online to work again.
If I had paid more than the few dollars I did for the franchise pack, I would actually be upset and complaining, but nope, I don't even.
God forbid I try to install Blood Dragon.
Yes. I torrented both of them.
Buy the steam releases but play the torrented copies?
Seems like a better choice than not at all purchasing them.
I've only encountered uPlay once.
With Blood Dragon, too bad I've only played that once (Is the game supposed to be 30fps? Its distracting.)
Finished Resident Evil (Xbox 360) (http://www.trueachievements.com/Resident-Evil-Xbox-360/achievements.htm?gamerid=284902) (you know, that one Gamecube/Wii REmake that recently got HD Remastered), and I still love it to this day~ also happy I was the very first gamer (at least on Xbox Live) to get the 1000G. ~w~
Kingdom Hearts II HD, glad it finally came out. Still need to play Birth By Sleep but I wanted to see the Final Mix content for II first.
I once again remembered Fallout New Vegas existed. But I have no idea what I'm doing in my saved game, so I'm considering restarting it again.
On the plus side, traveling between the Colosseum entrance and Olympus is a good route for ability grinding
I restarted Dragon Age Origins. Having to set tactics with only four slots in the beginning is a pain.I got so good a Micro-managing that the NPCs usually didn't have time to use their tactics.
FE Awakening while waiting for ASG to be released in Europe.

We also float above your head while you're on the PC and see the kind of smut you're watching.I can buy that, even though I don't watch smut.
Let's not kid ourselves here, Sakura. You should know by now that I'm not joking.
I admit that part made me laugh a lot more than it should have. 8D
Holy [parasitic bomb], I had no idea CN had all those digital games available. That's insane.
I really hope I have enough coins for Star Fox 3D.
Most of the series' cheesy dialogue has that effect on me. 8D
True but I really do like Roxas/Ventus' voice actor, Sora's also does a pretty good menacing voice for Vanitas too.
Tried playing it anyway, game crashed after a few battles.
Just wrapped up Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright. It's pretty obvious that Level 5 had the lion's share of the game, but it was still a blast.
(and 200 of "I left the game running on the Home menu because I didn't want to deal with the game telling me what a Blue Rupee is worth or any of that nonsense again".)Be very, very afraid of Skyward Sword, is all I can say.
Be very, very afraid of Skyward Sword, is all I can say.
RE Revelations Episode 3 was quite fun. I still need to do Barry's part but I read that it's pretty short.
I'm pleasantly surprised with this game. It's clearly smaller than the main RE entries, but at least it doesn't try to pretend it isn't. Also, it's very moody for a modern RE game. You cross room after room with no enemies to fight, only sounds and ambience. There are some big action-y fights here and there, though.
And the support characters are possibly more fun to control than the main characters. Moira is so OP with her flashlight + crowbar, it's hilarious.
Finished Gurumin this past week. Pretty fun game. Probably not going for 100% since it requires playthroughs on higher difficulties.I completely forgot about that key thing. Yay I can play this again.
So Metal Gear 2... I got stuck really early on. Moved on to MGS1 in the mean time, I'll get back to MG2 in the future.
I finished MGS1 now, some frustrating bits ([tornado fang]ing Sniper Rifle swaying, zero warning to some of the cameras, aiming weapons being rather difficult.) But overall not a bad game.
CODE NAME: PUMA (Since I played on Easy, got discovered like 60 times and killed 40 dudes whilst eating 44 rations.)
On to MGS 2.
Let's not forget the REX fight in general.
The REX fight only took three tries for me.
I blame the missiles.
On the other hand, Sniper Wolf 1 took like FOUR OR FIVE.
Been playing the new Strider that came out last year. Got it from the steam sale since it was another "metroidvania" and had good reviews. Really glad I picked it up. I'll likely go back and try some of the older titles even if they may be rather different (or not?). For now though, I'm having a blast in this one. One of those games I can actually stand to play more than an hour straight of.Yeah, I liked it when I played through it. The last section was a bit of a jump in difficulty, but otherwise well paced.
Suikoden 2 down. It's a good time. Haven't decided on the next game.
Suikoden 3? It's a little different but pretty good. It's also cheap on the PSN.I would, if I could play it on the go! Sadly, that isn't the case yet. Sooo I went with Xenogears. Should keep my commute time filled for a while.
Also still playing FF14. 8D
Flame, since you're playing Mad Max, I got a code for a sort of contest entry or something. But that doesn't matter because that code also gets you game content.thats nice and all, but thats only for PS4 and Xbone.

I'm playing on PC
Well, there's more gameplay than cutscenes this time, so... I consider that a win.
/shuddersNot a fan of Metal Gear or the sheer amount of cutscenes?
If there's one thing I can give the whole mess for, is that it really helps Otacon further shine as the best character in contrast to his [parasitic bomb] dad and retconned backstory.
Of the games I've played in the Metal Gear Solid series outside of the original MSX games I played MGS1 and 2. 3 is something I want to try out if can get the 3DS version like Unkawaii recommended if I can actually get a New 3DS. Getting the first one working on PC though was pain on Windows 8.1, namely because of how old it is and sadly it doesn't seem like anybody isn't going to give a us modern port of it. Quite a shame though because the PC port of MGS1 is actually really good; smoother texture quality, the ability to save without having to use Mei-Ling for that, surprisingly supports XInput controls despite being a Windows 95 (though mapping the triggers to cycle through items and weapons is reversed for some reason; D-pad isn't as useful as the analog stick however since it doesn't register 8-way controls), and some other improvements.
Haha, I have an irrational hatred of MGS for no other reason than it was so popular that Kojima wasn't allowed to make a Zone of the Enders 3! 8DThere was Ender's Project but because Konami thought it was a good idea to hire a company that makes lackluster ports and games rather than do it in-house (just like they did with Silent Hill 2 & 3) or get Hexa Drive from the start to do the HD Collection for Zone of the Enders, the project was scrapped before it could even have any chance at all. Still pissed that Xbox 360 got the shaft from that debacle but at least I got to relive 2nd Runner in glorious 1080p post-patch on the PS3. Too bad I don't have a PS3 of my own.
You can remap the triggers pretty easily. It was kind of confusing at first but I manage to get it to a proper configuration. It wasn't the remapping the triggers that was the problem for but how they're in reverse from what I actually want to map them to that throws me off (e.g. mapping Inventory Weapons to RT sends it to LT instead).

FC4 was great. What're you on about?Just saw this.
FC4 >>> Phantom Pain
Just saw this.
FC4 is... no. Just no.
I respectfully disagree :P
This is coming from someone who played the MGS games for the gameplay though, so take that as you will.
On the last month in Persona 3 Portable.
Playing way too much Terraria lately. I had an Expert mode game going at one point, but I ended up ragequitting it after the ninth time I died trying to fight any Hardmode boss. Loaded up a Normal save, ended up finding Arkhalis (http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Arkhalis) early game. Currently destroying everything I touch when I'm still in search of Magic Mirror and Extractinator. Beat EoC and EoW ez pz with this retardedly OP sword, so all I need to do now is figure out how to force a Goblin Invasion so I can blow my one-and-a-half Platinum on reforges. Just crafted Nightmare Pick and had, like, nine friggin' meteors land, so I gotta go get me some obsidian for a skull.
Also I have golden Cat Ears (dyed). Still on the hunt for Unlucky Yarn so I have a match with my Magi Carmen outfit.

Surprisingly I haven't found the Arkhalis in the world I've made. I think I have a spare Unlucky Yarn somewhere.*hoards the Arkhalis* nuuuu, you may not have >^<
I couldn't stand the lack of 3D exploration in that, since I was spoiled by Persona 4, so I switched to FES.
Played Bloodborne this morning to celebrate halloween. But I've been on RPGMaker MV most of the day tweaking stats and making new spells. (Time for items and equipment then I start on the prologues for each character. 8D )Hang on, so you're making an RPM RPG? That's pretty cool. I can help out, if you want. I have no idea what MV's scripting system looks like, but I was working on a battle system for VX, and I generally have a knack for creating mechanics and systems that work well.
B-but you can't play as a girl in FES

Less a RPM RPG and more a story featuring some of the characters reinvisioned to fit the world of the game. I might do some more cameos later but for the time being I want to keep it simple and work on the base game. (Story is all thought up)Oh dear. Java is 300% more confusing than Ruby. Game sounds cool though!
MV script language is Java I think? Otherwise it functions about the same as VX/VX Ace with some changes under the hood. Honestly MV is better than VX Ace in some ways and worse in others.
Some missing features like the resource manager or the auto damage formula option being removed is--odd and adds some unnecessary busy work while the loss of MP3 compatibility for new formats is also annoying.
At the same time things like the more advanced character maker, the built in option to switch between side view and first person and more classic features of RPGs built into the database are welcome.
Other M would have been a perfectly acceptable Metroid game if it weren't for its writing. Unfortunate.
Man, the story gets worse every time. Samus makes zero sense in this game.I guess you could call her
I don't think I understand that pun....Um... Zero Sense Samus = Zero Suit Samus...? -u-'
then again this is sans.......
but they literally lock the doors to previous areas and you can't go anywhere but straight ahead. Even Fusion didn't do that, I believe.Fusion did that all the time, actually. It's what makes it one of the weaker Metroids in the exploration aspect. Metroid 2 is rather linear as well, for the most part.
replaying Shadow the Hedgehog
Believe it or not, I've yet to play a Sonic game that I actively dislike. I'm actually a big fan of both Shadow and '06. Hell, I even managed to get the full 1000GS on the 360 version of '06. That was pretty fun.
I'm actually a big fan of '06.
Just started Virtue's Last Reward. Picked up the digital version in the eShop sale, I don't often dip into M-rated territory but this one's had my curiosity for a while. And when/if I need a break I can always start up the Project X Zone 2 demo.
It's a little late for that. It's fairly obvious that Clover's been in one of these death-games before, but I hadn't felt lost otherwise. Or at least, not in any "missed the prequel" kind of way. It's not as if VLR is a game that tells you things in chronological order anyway.
If I have one criticism of the game it's that the "let's write awareness of alternate timelines into the story" thing is not revealed until after the point, which makes your first encounter with a locked timeline EXTREMELY confusing.
Well, I like the game overall, so 999 is going on my wishlist.
Which routes have you completed?I completed Luna's story by looking up the password online. That was my first playthrough, so yeah, lousy luck on the whole locked storyline thing. If I, for example, hit Dio's ending first, then even though I still wouldn't have had the needed info for Luna, at least I'd have known what the heck was going on.
Well, if any game obstructs the story with a password or obstacle, chances are, you're intended to come back to it later.Literally every single puzzle room in the game teaches you otherwise; on-the-spot password locks are both how the game progresses and how optional backstory is unlocked. The fact that the game kicks you out if you fail only communicates that the answer is not readily available in that scene, not that the answer lies nowhere in the current timeline.
Well, it IS a little disheartening to think that after clawing through one of the longer storylines for your first time, you have to fly blind through 27 other possible forks before getting any closure to that one. You could say the whole emotional investment thing works against itself in that regard.

Using the floor B graffiti as the big hint didn't help any; floor A's graffiti was an anagram whose original text was (as far as I know, anyway) completely meaningless; that coupled with the allegedly deliberate misspelling of "ninth" seems to scream not to take it at face value.
The only remotely trustworthy hint that you're supposed to come back later is that, if you look REAL close, I'm pretty sure Phi's body is among the "remember death" flashes, which is out of place. But that's an automated sequence, you're not given the chance to absorb it and/or confirm that you saw what you thought you saw. Not to mention that even if you could digest it properly, hallucinations are hardly off the table since the lock is preceded by an unexplained reality-fast-forward spell.
Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest. You gotta love the logic of fans who claim that lacking perma-death and/or the possibility of camping in DLC make the game too easy no matter what.
It's [tornado fang]ing hard. I'm on Hard Casual (would've done normal but I figured since I played Awakening already I was decent enough at the game.)
I was wrong. Chapter 5 and I'm already getting [tornado fang]ing curbstomped up the ass. Awakening was NEVER this difficult even on Lunatic.
Fire Emblem is... Fire Emblem. Gonna do Nohr first, probably gonna take my sweet time.I actually joined the "one star review to [sonic slicer] about scalpers" bandwagon on Fates's Special Edition; not something I normally do, but I'm still pissed that it's found nowhere. Any purchase I make of Fates will be either a ripoff or a consolation prize, so I'm not touching it as long as there are other 3DS games still on my radar.
Yeah, it's a real shame. I'd be all over a Virtual Console release, that's for sure.Who WOULDN'T be all over that? Nintendo just won't do it because business reasons.
Who knows, with Earthbound Beginnings being official I wouldn't rule out an official Star Fox 2 just yet.Well, it's not impossible, but a notable difference is that Beginnings saw a retail release before, just not in english. On the other hand, being more dialogue-heavy, you'd THINK Beginnings was more work than SF2 would be.
Agreed. I'd love the original Star Fox on the VC. Hopefully, with the Classic Arwing Mode in Star Fox Zero, they release it eventually!

At least Fates has an upcoming retranslation mod.
Wasn't there some issue legal-wise regarding Super Fx games? Its also why Yoshi's Island always comes out as the GBA version.Allegedly. I had to do a quick search, that explanation is less common than the bogus "Super FX is too hard for Wii to emulate" claims of last gen.
If you were one of the three people who got to the Special Edition before the scalpers, sure.Is it beyond their ability? No.

Even if true I don't expect it's something impossible for them to overcome, since we are talking about the cartridge and not the game itself. Yoshi's Island was remade, obviously, when it came to GBA. Assuming for the sake of argument that Star Fox would legally require a similar treatment, do you really think that's beyond Nintendo's ability?
rest in pepperoni
Rest In pepperoni is a middle of the herd term used to describe a death, usually on a video game.
The scale goes as such:
RIP-Used by people who post everything cat. YouTube videos, Tweets, everything.
Rest In Peace-Used by casuals. Usually they play Mario Cart, or some other simplistic game.
Rest In Pepperoni-Used by 360 no scopers who do the Y Y 360 dorrito shrek shot.
Resterino In Pepperino-Used by creeps. Broneys, neckbeards, and people who write fan fictions in youtube commments are the most common culprits.
Same for me. My Xbox 360 controller just had its wire fail completely without warning (and with no signs of damage, and I was pretty careful with it anyway). I ordered a new cable to try and solder it to the board, that is, assuming I'm alive when the cable comes to my place. I also took the advantage to switch the thumb sticks because the left one was starting to get used.
If soldering doesn't work I guess I'll buy a new one and then I'll be broke again.
I took a break from the Hero's story and played the Dark story in SA2. I know playable Tails was kind of a last minute thing but god when you play Eggman's levels you really notice it.
I'm probably going to play Dishonored next.
I'm on Twitter. @UnkawaiiTweets.I followed you and linked the accounts.
Yeah I like that about 14's iteration of it as well, but I also don't like how you're timed on your turn in that iteration.
There is a time limit for making a turn mostly due to player versus player but it's like 15 seconds I think.Yeah yeah I'm aware, but I like having all the time I can to think about my move carefully lol
I'm finally up to MGSV, my friend helped me blow through 3 and 4 (and I watched him plow through Rising) and holy [parasitic bomb] they weren't kidding about cutscenes in 4 god [tornado fang]ing dammit.
D00M 4 is pretty good. Though it takes some dicking around with all the settings to get it just right.
Welcome to the most non-canon MGS. Have fun. Or don't. Because you won't.
You should finish V and then play Rising for yourself to wash the taste out of your mouth.
Dark Souls 3.
It's... Easy.
And kind of underwhelming.
Now maybe it's just because I'm under an hour in but if I managed to get past the second bonfire in high wall with no deaths during my first run through the game... I don't know man, that doesn't seem right. I died more in DS1 and 2 in far shorter periods. Could be because I'm used to Souls game handling? [parasitic bomb], I don't know. I hope the difficulty ramps up more once I get to the boss.
Giving God Eater a go, since it's something I can play on my commute. It'll probably take forever to get anywhere.EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! 0v0
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! 0v0Well, I'll be sure to keep you up to date on my thoughts of it :P
You have no idea how much I love that game!
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days on stream. Still a fun game.
Been playing God Eater Resurrection and Dragon Quest 7.
Haven't gotten to the point I can change jobs in DQ7.
Res on the other hand I gotten a lot better than I was in Burst, the new weapons helped a lot and I finally used my [tornado fang]ing Gun regularly, though in exchange I'm neglecting my Sheild. To drive that point home I actually took on the Solo Alisa Missions by myself unlinke in Burst when my now BF had to bail me out.
I took the plunge and got a cheap used copy of Uncharted. I'm not really enjoying it so far though.
Cuphead is pretty damn amazing.
Also pretty hard.
Dead Cells is on my high priority listIt's a must have. Even though it's still an early access game.
i cant stop playing sf3 and sfv send help
I actually just beat Chrono Trigger for the first time earlier this week. Fantastic game.
