Title: Halloween
Post by: Keno on September 15, 2009, 07:14:34 AM
What's everybody doing for Halloween? What costumes are abound?

I wanna go as Robbie Rotten, but I'm not too sure on how to cheaply make his outfit.

What's everybody doing for Halloween?

Handing out candy to kids. There's nothing more fun than seeing the same costume ten times!
Title: Re: Halloween

I may be taking my niece and nephews trick-or-treating again.  Dunno what I'm gonna wear this year, though.  I am tempted, however, to go as Harry Potter as it wouldn't take me long to slap the costume together and with my old glasses, I'm the spitting image of Daniel Radcliff.  Might as well take advantage of it while I can.  Add in a British accent and viola!

Normally I say how awful it is to live in the boonies, but one time of the year, it's actually nice.
We get maybe 3 kids at the door on Halloween evening, and then it's all quiet.

THE REST OF THE CANDY IS MINE NOW! HAHA!

Also, I don't answer the door, so I don't even know what they're dressed as, but I'm going to assume all the same thing.

THE REST OF THE CANDY IS MINE NOW! HAHA!

I don't see how that's particularly good, seeing as how with such few kids, I'd assume you buy very small amounts of candy. >_>

Usually get a free bag of those mini chocolate bars with $300 worth of groceries, so it's good enough.
It'll last a while, anyway.

I'm not sure... if worse comes to worse, I'll go as Dr. Jones again. Although, I'd like to get an actual Bullwhip this time if I do that 8D

Last year, I went as the Hitcher from The Mighty Boosh (kudos to anyone who knows what I'm talking about).

This year? I'm really not sure. I have a few ideas (Itsuki Koizumi, Shino Aburame, Dr. Peace, Noriaki Kakyoin and Hol Horse come to mind), but I guess I'll have to have a think about it.

Didn't you do that last year too?
Title: Re: Halloween
Post by: Gotham Ranger on September 16, 2009, 07:19:27 PM
No, unfortunately. No money and no plans prevented me from more or less even leaving the house last year. And really, its looking the same this year unless I can somehow find a job, which isn't easy when you have no transportation.

I may also try and think up some alternatives.

I don't know, my little bro has the idea of a haunted house idea that's been going on since I was little. If I could ever find the right stuff, I'd go as a random spartan or Master Cheif. Oh well, other than that I'd go as the mysterious maced feind (again!), robe, mask.. and either the axe or mace I have sitting in my garage from two to five years ago at the medival fair? yeah.

I have 5-6 pairs of Sunglasses, as well as a Yellow Scarf.  In theory, I could probably pull it off, but I'd need a Red Wig....and then spike it up.  LoL, it'd also help if I didn't look so hispanic.  XD

For this Halloween I intend to do the same thing I've done for the last 8 years: act like it's a regular day... except for trying to steal as much as I can from the Candy Dish that's ment for the Trick-or-Treat'ers

actually, a simple, (well, in theory, since its not overly complex in design...) costume Im thinking I could make for next Halloween maybe, is Neuro from my avi. If I get really lazy, I could just cut my hair shoulder length and dye it. I mean, he wears a blue suit with one of those neckerchief things.

(Next halo because im not in a really dress up mood this year)

[tornado fang] you and your love of rain. While I'm sure oggling girls in wet clothes is hot and all, I'd hate to be out in real rain. Thankfully, we were done before the rain came by.

It seems the rain scared most everyone away this year. There was like no one on the streets all day. A real bummer of a Halloween, really.

Then, we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Along with food, pizza, candy, etc. We had fun. we had a punch bowl with a frozen hand, made by freezing a rubber glove full of water. XD

I opted to go with this polka dot clown sailor outfit I have, which fit way too tight & made for awesome party garb. Got a bottle of Crown Russe vodzkee, AKA the cheapest thing in the store (40 cents cheaper than Vladies).

Got smashed as all hell & played Rockband 2, but then my passive aggressive [sonic slicer] of a friend Justin tried to take our singer, so I popped him in the jaw. It was a very fun evening. & then we after-partied yesterday & today. I'm [tornado fang]ing beat as all hell.

Prior to the Rockband 2 we were goading the piece of ass my friend Joe, the owner of the apartment, brings over to [tornado fang] & my friend Kara, who was talking about "not being so sure anymore about not being bi" into losing some clothes & making out on camera. Then they kicked us out & me & Joe watched them go at it through knife holes in his bedroom door while Paparazzi was blaring.

I had a [tornado fang]ing blast.

I was working that night. And was the only one on my department who didn't dress up.

Eh, I'm too pale to need make-up anyway, so I "went" as a zombie.

My logic? I was working on about three hours sleep, so I was DEAD on my feet.
