- Kawaii -- I know, I'm a cupcake at heart. I do like some things just because they're cute, e.g. Sugar, a little Snow Fairy. That alone isn't enough, but it's a contributing factor.
- Mahou shoujo -- "Magical Girl". Not every mahou shoujo series is good; like any genre it contains stinkers. But I've had good experience with them overall, including some of my favorite series. I use the term rather loosely, by the way; I consider Sugar to be a mahou shoujo series.
