Over at the official RnR3 site (http://www.capcom.co.jp/ryusei3/index.html), we've been given our first glimpse at the cover for the Ryuusei no Rockman Official Complete Works (http://www.capcom.co.jp/ryusei3/book04.html) . Because despite the printed title referring to it as "Shooting Star Rockman," I still refuse to go along with that change. XD

There are a couple tiny samples there which show concept artwork of the various Tribe forms from the second game and the standard Black Ace official art, with focus on various parts of it's design, from the third game. It promises to have lots of concept art as well as commentary from the staff behind the games' development.

The OCW is set for release on March 30th, but it won't be alone. That's because yet another guidebook, the Battle Black Box (http://www.capcom.co.jp/ryusei3/book05.html), has also just been announced. It will cover Noise Gear Modifications, hidden bosses, and more in 96 total pages.

The guidebook will come with a special Noise Card featuring Crimson Dragon. It looks like it will at least give users the benefit of HP +500.

At the moment, pre-orders are only available through e-Capcom (http://www.e-capcom.com/ec/srDispProductListProductLink/doProductLink/1/1/A10001465/10/10/srDispProductList/1), but that will surely change in the coming days. So be sure to get out there and grab these books! (In other words, please don't wait for me to scan pages for you all. But you know I probably will.) ;)

I'd definitely consider EXE like an OCW, since one book has art for all the viruses, another has the full-body official art, and the third has all the concept art. There might be art for a certain character missing here or there, but they're basically all covered in at least one shape or form. Principle is the same, just drawn out over more books.

The EXE books all came out before the other OCWs, so it could just be Cappy learned their lesson/came to their senses later and felt it was best to include the art all in one big compilation, rather than broken up. Granted the Zero book came out almost immediately after Himitsu, but it's at least a theory.

Well, we (or more like you guys in the US >_>) did get MMZOCW, and you're getting R20 too, it's not that unlikely that we'll get RnROCW too.
