Yeah, there are homebrew applications like Colors! (pressure sensitive, you can save your drawing process and animate it like on the Oekaki board), Phidias (this one has simple tools like blur, burn, sponge), and UAPaint (it's like MS Paint) that let you draw on the Touch Screen, and save your work as .bmp or .png. It works just like a little tablet :D

Now, -at last- here's something from my history - the very first version of me (this pic was drawn few hours ago):

You can see my black jacket with yellow and white stripes, grayish green trousers, and brown shoes. Hair was already dark red, but eyes were brown, instead of yellow. This design is from early August 2005, the Elemental Staff is from 2003. The whole idea of having a golden shape-shifting object with it's own AI (called "Biolid") dates back even further. I don't remember the exact date, but it's really old, something like 1994-7.
