News and Announcements / Re: Mega Man 11 OFFICIAL TRAILER Announcement
« on: December 05, 2017, 10:36:51 AM »
Looks really good. The worst thing is the game is one or close to one year from release and apparently they will share new info in the summer. A little more waiting won't kill anyone after 7 years I guess.

I hope the info is incomplete. Unless is super cheap, the collection should have more games and a release for Switch will be very welcome.

If we assume Comcept isn't lying when they say that their earlier "no delay" claim was made because they hadn't gotten word yet, then it actually sounds like Deep Silver threw Comcept under the bus and told Inafune and company "so... don't panic but there might be a delay..." several days after telling retailers.

I don't know who lied but Amazon changed the date as soon as July, 22. So by that time they already got the news of the delay, the "no delay" answer came after.

If they lied, probably was forced by how bad the Red Ash KS was doing.

They hadled this issue in such a poor way, on top of the already poorly handled Red Ash kickstarter. Sad for the delay but I rather wait and play a game free of bugs, let's hope they can release it  on Q1  -u-'

The timing feels wrong for me, I will give him my money if I'm happy with Mighty no 9 but not now, not after Bloodstain and Shenmue 3.

I wonder what is he going to do with all the profits from Mighty no 9?.

Looks like the game is getting a lot of positive press this E3.

8
I wonder if Japan will get a physical version.

Disappointed with no 9 and 10, they have done nothing with this 2 games outside the original release. Kudos to Capcom USA for the effort, they try hard to make things happen on their side, I wonder what's going on in Japan.

10
...You haven't heard of Ben 10?

I don't watch cartoons, I know the name but never saw and episode.  ;)

I know nothing of this people or they shows they made in the past, but can't be bad to have more exposure for the franchise. Toys, comics, manga reprints, smash bros, maybe is time to make a game.

Really good news, not only we will get a better product with more content but the game will be more "out there" thanks to Deep Silver increasing the chances of this becoming a franchise if the first title is good and sells well.

I like the design, let's hope they get the money, but $190.000 in 2 months is a little optimistic.

Sadly I can't play the beta in my old PC but I have seen a lot of videos and it looks like a lot of fun and it has this "Mega Man" feeling but also has some cool things, not only for gameplay but also in level design and aesthetics. Is really a shame that Capcom don't give a [parasitic bomb] about Mega Man anymore, I beat they could do something like this with a little more budget and make it profitable. At least we have Gunvolt and this game, and I can't be more happy about it.

I don't think is worst than the ZX case, here with Gunvolt they are removing pieces of information, maybe relevant information or maybe not. I really don't know who thought that it was a good choice to have text or VA all the time while you play, is ridiculous. But we are used to miss information with Inti Creates games, and I bet they will end up releasing a Drama CD or some drama tracks and the english audicence will miss it, they have already some novel thing going on in their radio show. If you want to experince the whole thing you are forced to learn Japanese.

You are overstating things.

They only "needed" $900k.

They only needed that amount to make  a pretty basic game for PC, more features, more platforms equals to more money and development time. I'm not going to argue with you that they can do all the promised stuff for less than 4 million because I don't work in game development.

So this game comes out before M#9. Proof you don't actually need a $4m Kickstarter campaign to release a full game/Mega Man clone? Doesn't exactly stir my confidence in Inafking's new venture.

I don't think you realize how much money, staff and time is needed to make Mighty 9, specially with so many versions. You can start with how much cost to get the Unreal Engine tools.

In case someone cares, the first Mighty No.9 podcast will be up in some hours.

21
Great news, finger crossed that we can reach the $2,500,000 goal.

Now Capcom, be nice and announce something at TGS.

22
I don't like No.9 design but the rest looks amazing, pretty awesome staff working on it. If Capcom is working in a 2D gameplay reboot of Mega Man, this announcement must be a kick in the ass for them.

23
Great news.

I find this oddly hilarious. Namely because you're never here, and you came out of nowhere with this comment.

So according to you I should have downloaded the scans and say nothing?.

Oh I got it, because I have few post I'm a second class citizen.
