Ever since I have learn about these two concepts, I became fond of them. I have always(well, almost) did see a bit of charm in them. Trying to become a different being and never saying a word... well, alomst never.

Link Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kigurumi

So, what are(or wre) your thoughts on these concepts? Do you still find Fursuits and Kigurumi creepy and disturbing? Did you find any good pictures of them?

So what would creep you out the most? The very bad designs with little effort and it makes it obvious that that's a male in that suit, or the really good designs with pure effort and looks very ambiguous. And if there is actually a female in that suit...

The same can apply to Fursuits. And mostly how both act and potray.

I also realise something...

Some Mascot Coatumes used for advertising really are well-made.

Yeah, I'm insane.

I DO NOT THINK LIKE THOSE FREAKS! I try to visualize this as an art form. As Trying to animate something to life.
Sometime, thoughts and imagination can make a person go too far, think they really are the character.

But, really, it's suppose to be like the character costumes that entarain people in theme parks, not the erotic kind.

Oh, and I AM NOT ONE MYSELF!

Okay, okay I get it.
Never the less... Fursuits of any kind deserve to be burned, and are not in any way a form of art.
[Neither are kigurumi, but whatever]

Okay. I can't afford a suit. I can't pull off the facade either.

I just like looking at the designs. So much work and texture. Is that so wrong?

Suurely some one here has a favorite form of costume desing.

I say "whatever floats your boat".

You like it? Good for you.

just dont bring all that fursecution crap my way, and im just fine.

"art form"? well, if you mean something Akin to Cosplay or just plain costuming and [parasitic bomb], than I guess? thing is, most furries dont quite see it that way. They just want to BE anthropomorphic animals.

The "Dolling" one, or whatever wikipedia called it, IS actually rather creepy. But once again, whatever floats your boat.

That aside, random topic on the matter is random.

Well... I did want to post something like this during the end of October, because of... the costumes.

Okay, I can see that the idea of fursuits CAN be a bit off by some people.

But, I guess the the point still stands. Most people here want to see a face, instead of a mask.

I guess do some character costumes form theme parks creep you out, as well?

Personally, when I design costumes, I like to design a full-head mask.  It's more challenging to do so, and the end result can be awesome.  I'd rather cover the face than allow it to show through, unless the costume I'm designing is clearly human.  The majority of my costumes, though, have been full-head masks and accompanying ensemble.  They are very restrictive, very stuffy, hard to see out of, and very, very hot, I can assure you that.  I don't envy mascot characters at all, or anyone who needs to stand under hot stage lights in a full costume.

Anywho, I've been monitoring this topic to an extent.  The discussion of costuming is fine, and I would rather it stay there.  If it starts going into fetishes, though, this bugger's getting locked.

QuickEdit: I changed the title to something a bit more broad.  Now, let us move away from the icky connotations associated with fursuits and to a general costuming topic of discussion.

I guess it can't be helped. At least someone knows the concept.

In addition to full-head masks, many "Dollers" tend to use skin-tight garments called "Zentais" to cover the entire body. That way, no one can really tell if they performer is either mal e or female.

Here's a couple of vids on how's it's made.

So, Quickman. Is this something you have seen before?

But, anyway, for Full Costuming, I was really talking about stuff like this.

So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

That's not how I remember Lelouch... I'm guessing that must be some kind of uniform.
