As much as I would wish that he would, it won't happen. :(
He prefers Mango Lemonade to tea, I believe...

Oh... -_- (didn't get the joke)
The tea was obviously mango lemonade flavored.

Makes sense. (I actually voted somewhat randomly, making sure that I didn't vote for PB...)

From what I see now, Sparky and DZ have him beat by one vote...
But PB hasn't voted yet.

Off The Wall / The Manly Prince Pageant, Final Round
« on: November 15, 2008, 05:47:51 AM »
Welcome to the first ever Manly Prince Beauty Pageant! This thread was inspired by Sky Child's Princess Pageant. Go vote for her pageant too!

This is Round 1. You can select up to 15 people. Also, 15 people will be eliminated in the first go.

Edit: Sorry to anyone who I forgot. The list was getting pretty long--as you could tell--and my memory isn't perfect.

Final Fantasy VII:
Sephiroth: The character is a giant plothole. Also, after all that build-up, it takes one hit to kill him at the end. Wow...
Cait Sith: The most annoying character in the game and he sucks in combat. It's like they made him to sit on the bench.

Final Fantasy VIII:
Seifer: I hate this guy. Plus, he looks like a duck to me. He always has.
Irvine: Yeah, I thought this guy was pretty cool, until he talked.

Halo:
Master Chief: Yeah, before you heckle, let me explain. For a series that fans boast for its story, it sure has one shitty, hastily characterized main character. He's just a typical one-dimensional action hero. That's it. He doesn't have a personality. He just pops off the occasional one-liner for a quick chuckle. That's nice, but didn't leave me very satisfied.

Honestly, I kinda see where they're coming from; however, in Western society breasts are a "private part(s)" of the female body. While they're not genitalia, they are viewed as a sexual thing. As such, most women would rather have their breasts covered.

Gaming / Re: Wii regret?
« on: November 14, 2008, 08:28:02 PM »
I don't regret buying a Wii because I haven't bought one. I am a fan of Wii Sports, though. It's fun playing it at my friend's house. I wasn't a fan of Super Mario Galaxy, though. The camera annoyed me way too much to enjoy it. It's like they copy and pasted the camera script from Super Mario 64 and said, "Good enough." They obviously didn't factor in the possibility that you aren't always going to be walking on a flat plane. In a game where you're only walking on tiny spheres most of the time, this is a huge flaw into what would otherwise be a great game. Unfortunately, this is a flaw that can't be ignored because it's always staring you in the face from the very beginning of the game.

I did like Mario Kart Wii, though. It takes a little time to get used to the controls, but I did enjoy it. Not as good as Double Dash, though.

I really want to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Klonoa, and maybe a little Punch Out. I sucked at the NES version, so I'll probably suck just as badly at the Wii version.

Unless you are going for the Blue in the manga series Pokemon Special/Adventures...
Or was that Green... >.>
It was probably Green.

Ugh... I hate explaining this...

In Japan, the first versions to be released were Red and Green. Thus, the trainer you play was named Red and the rival was named Green. Blue was released later with what was considered to the superior graphics of the Red version. Anyone who has played Green would understand what I'm talking about. When Pocket Monsters was finally released in the United States, they decided to only release the Red and Blue versions because they thought the inferior Green would suffer in sales.

So when Gold and Silver were released, Nintendo of America was faced with a problem. In the game, the rival from Red, Green, Blue and Yellow was called Green, but that version was never released in the US. The solution was simple at the time, just call him Blue instead. It seemed they had already come to the conclusion in the manga as well.

Then FireRed and LeafGreen were released. This time the US did get Green, so now Nintendo was in trouble again. They went with Green for the rival this time because a Blue equivalent wasn't going to be released, which naturally confused everyone who wasn't a total geek fan. And so, the name Blue fell on the girl this time. Most likely because Blue is more feminine sounding out of the three names.

*unbop'd*

Nobo = Lorelei
I am one of the Elite Four! Woo! Thankies, Vixyness. ^^

I still call Blue either way for ultimate mindtrickery.
You know that Blue is a girl, right? Yeah, I know that Gold and Silver messed people up, but it's true. Green, like in the original Green, Red, and Blue versions is the rival character.
