Damn it guys, I wanted to like this game, but as it is now it's not really something I'd want to replay after beating... not to mention that the ending makes no sense. Mostly because of this:

I like most of the ideas though and the weapons are really useful. But the bad aspects are REALLY bad and drag the whole thing down.

It seems you're oblivious to how the industry works in terms of "previews" and "sneak peeks".
Well...I am. Being not american and not reading comic books...

Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness.
Yes, I like CV 64. I like it more than the GB games. I honestly think that it got the right atmosphere. Dracula looks awesome and it has some nice ideas.

The X Collection's convenient, but it came off pretty cheap.

To answer the question about starting off X with the air-dash: it would trivialize the leg upgrades if that was the best they could come up with. I think they could've come up with better mobility perks than hovering and gliding, at least for a few more games. I also think it would've been an interesting challenge to design levels around air-dashing and up-dashing, just like how Mega Man X introduced level design built around regular dashing. But the nice thing about that game's level design is that you could even beat it without the dash upgrade. I've never done it, but I think the fact that you can do that serves as a smooth transition from the classic games that preceded it, as well as a nice gesture.

Look, all I'm saying is X should've gotten a leg upgrade that lets him do something awesome, like a Sonic Rainboom or something. Call it the Rainbow Dash boots.

Also someone draw that armor, please.
Ahahahaha you're so funny *cough*pleasedieinafireandhaverockdroppedatyouandthengetblownawaybyatornado*cough*

We really need something like Wily Wars. Cause Wily Wars was a great compilation...outside the small Protoman sprite, but I digress.

If you want something castle themed, well, look at castlevania , Knightman and perhaps even Kid Dracula tiles to get the right feeling.

So let's see. I rather like Blademan's blade shoulders concept...though I guess that would look weird on an 8bit sprite. PumpMan would always be the laughing stock...no matter which design.
CommandoMan's many gun attachements and tank forms make me wish he would be able to transform mid-battle and use various weapons. Interesting Snowflake designs for Chillman, nothing too special though.
I dig the helmet pompadour that one of the NitroMan designs had, but I guess it didn't fit a stunt robot. The early design looks more like an enemy.
OMG SHEEPMAN U SO ADORBS JKSHLKJAHSLKDNLKJDANJKN
Humanoid Strikeman looks pretty Bad-ass. Not sure why they didn't keep that one. Definitely better than a ball with limbs.
I dig all of the Solarman concepts, but nothing beats balancing a giant artificial sun over your head.
Looks like each RM would get a met based on them, which would have been neat to see. And various sport themed robots too...

and a toaster...ok I would LOVE to see that one make it in.
Is that Swordman's sword as a midboss? Heh, I had the same idea for Wilyvania.
Pretty much would be neat to have that book.

Shut up.
The cards do look kinda cool, but the shitty american dub anime design ruins them.
Then again, these aren't official cards so I guess it's kinda okay... since they are good only for collection and you should care only for the images.
They still could have [tornado fang]ing picked a better design instead of that terribad American one.
Or even better!
Just [tornado fang]ing prinet the images of monsters ALONE.
