The only bad thing is that even if you DO get the game, there's still the thing of how the Extreme Vs. rigs MUST maintain a connection to Bamco's servers in order to even work. So you figure the entry fee, and then that additional cost...  -u-'

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh...

Then yeah, no shot of getting it here!  XD

Welp.....gotta fly to Japan. You in, Ben?  8)

Based on the link, some suits were already mentioned but also some that weren't (Highlighted in Red). Those are:

- Hi-Nu Gundam
- Blue Destiny

So Hi-Nu continues its action-game tour de force from ACE:R (like its fellow pimps, the Crossbone Thugs n Harmony), and we get more Gundam manga love in the form of Blue Destiny. Niiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Maybe my hopes for the likes of Gundam W: G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-G-Unit may still have some chance after all!  *o* *o*

As long as the US has largely an apathetic attitude towards Gundam (matched by how much Bamco seems to just as much care for trying to push Gundam in the West), I wouldn't place a lot of hope in such. Probably the only reason we got the Dynasty Warriors: Gundam games was because Koei made such a push to release it over here. I doubt Capcom (the actual makers of the Gundam Vs. series) are going to be as enthusiastic, especially since most people passed over Gundam vs. Zeta Gundam's US release back on the PS2...  8D

Any way...

Confirmed Roster: (thus far, bold being new to the series through this game)

MSG - Gundam, Acguy, Char's Gelgoog
Zeta - Zeta Gundam, Hyaku Shiki, Messala
ZZ - FA ZZ, Red Qubeley, Qubeley
CCA - Nu Gundam, Sazabi, Hi-Nu Gundam
F91 - Gundam F91, Berga Giros
V Gundam - V2 Gundam, Gun-EZ

G Gundam - God Gundam, Dragon Gundam, Master Gundam
Endless Waltz - Wing Gundam Zero Custom, Heavy Arms Custom, Tallgeese 3
Gundam X - Gundam DX, Gundam Virsago Chest Break
Turn A Gundam - Turn A Gundam, Turn X Gundam

Gundam SEED - Strike Gundam, Forbidden Gundam, LaGOWE
Gundam SEED Destiny - Strike Freedom Gundam, Infinite Justice, Destiny Gundam, Luna's ZAKU Gunner
Gundam SEED Astray - Red Frame
Gundam 00 - 00 Gundam, Cherudim Gundam, Susanowo

Gundam UC - Gundam Unicorn, Kshatriya, Sinanju
Gundam 0080 - Zaku Kai, Gundam Alex
Gundam 0083 - Gundam GP01, Gundam GP02
08th Ms Team - Ez8, Gouf Custom
MS Igloo - Hildorf, Zudah
Crossbone - Crossbone Gundam X-1
Gundam Gaiden - Gundam Blue Destiny
EX vs. OG - Extreme Gundam

This brings the total beginning roster so far to 51 MS, compared to Gundam vs Gundam with 32 MS, and GVG Next with 51.

And to think, we still may get a few more MS via either the upcoming trade shows (AM Show, TGS), and then of course, there's the possibility of time unlocks. I'm loving what I'm reading and seeing thus far!  owob

Talk about gay for us US consumers.

Sad, but true. For the most part, what can be said about the Western Gundam fan base is that a lot of it boils down to improper franchise handling on Bandai's part, which led to what fan base that was left to do a lot to adopt the "roll your own" attitude. It's doubtful that the "glory days" of Toonami+Gundam W back around the turn of the century will ever be seen again.

But hey, since this game looks to be PS3 bound, if you already have a PS3? Import-a-go-go, baby. Then it's just a thing of hoping for some truly awesome netcode that will be able to foster the growth of a scene over on this side of the globe.

Yes, indeed. Also, slight fix made to my original post, to include Heavyarms Custom, which is also a new unit, and replaces the original model from the last game.

Looking good, ain't it? Of course, the nico vids likely have the best visual quality, but you either need a nico account, or one of the many "nico-bypasses" to see the goods.

More as they come in.
