A REMAKE is upon us! SRW OG SAGA...... LORD OF ELEMENTAL! Long after the retarded copyright wars with Winky Soft, it seems to be OVER!

- 27th May 2010
- Nintendo DS
- 6090yen
- Not done in SD, real robot sprites like the original
- Brand new high quality attack animations
- Arrangement of gameplay systems based on the original game with refinements of more recent SRW games
- Retains all the feel of the original title

BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My one true SRW love...and it's FINALLY getting a REMAKE!

Also, according to my fellow gaffers, some one on 2ch called this in that we were supposed to get a new Masoukishin along with more of the "Booby Saga" games, and then the definitive OG3 would be on PS3.

Seeing how two of these things have now seemed to slide into place....  owob

This being the first time Masoukishin has taken center stage in over 15 years, I'm expecting to get a good deal of stuff. Especially to make up for how they didn't quite stroke it right back in @G.

Heh, "Booby Saga". Have you been practicing?  XD

Nice to see OG3 is going into fruition.. now, if they can only bring the other two home console OG games over.. And..

Sprites? Seems like they are catching on to us..

So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Bian Zoldark, called it.

Yeah, thanks to regional issues and lack of an SNES, I never got a chance to play it.  ::)

Well, you can blame my lack of knowlidge for that uneducaited guess.  :P

I wonder what bonuses they got this time? It's a remake, so it's bound to have extras.

Definitely looking forward to this. I hope and pray it comes stateside. I'd love to see the other two PS2 OG's make it, but everyone tells me that won't happen because Sony requires a dual audio track for localizing a PS2 game or some such nonsense. Atlus confirmed they had no interest in localizing them sometime last year, so boo hoo.  :|

Oh well, if they pick this game up, that'd rock my socks.

Thus far, the major stigma has been moved, such that most PS3 games require a dual track now. PS2 games seemingly are exempt from that. Of course, that's of little consolation for Atlus, since the two GBA games didn't sell well.

Any way...depending on how interested Atlus is in this new game, maybe hope could be renewed. After all, there's still the notion that supports a HD SRW OG3 for the PS3 is looming over the horizon some time soon. Maybe Atlus can try vying for that...

I've heard some rumbles on the forum of a company other than Atlus bringing the two PS2 games overseas. But it was just a "Which game do you want us to import next?" type of deal, I dunno how legit that sort of thing is. I'd love to see it. I forget which publisher it was, though...

It sucks that the first to OG's didn't go over very well, I was mad excited when they first announced they were localizing them. But whatevs, if they got their hands on OG3 (I think it's only a matter of time before that comes along), I'd be pretty excited. By that time I may have worked my way through the Alpha series. :D
