Villager has two recoveries, both of which are excellent. Tree is powerful too. I have to try him out more when I can tweak the controls.

I do like the tree though I'm not too good at using it just yet.  I'll have to wait and see how well I can use her after I get the game.

There's your mewtwo in smash 4.
Well, that IS a far more badass trophy pose than in Brawl.

Also, MegaMan is as good as I remember him. He'll be even better once I can remove the Up = Jump feature on the analog stick, cause holy [tornado fang] is the Mega Upper powerful.

And you know, it's the little things that make the game so enjoyable. Especially the fact that... Ahem...

THERE'S NO MORE GODDAMN RANDOM SLIPPING!!!!
So much "yes" on both counts.

I love playing as Mega Man.  I'm just trying not to overdo it since I still want to reverse the goddamn shield/grab assignment; I don't know whose decision that was.  A/B I can live with, given some practice, although I still think B/Y would be preferable.

I gotta ask, is button assignment that hard to include in a demo?  Ah well.  Still rocks to get a taste of things early.

I'm enjoying Mega Man's ability to annoy by alternating projectiles, makes CPU players pretty easy pickings.  Finishing can be a little tricky, but it's nowhere near as much so as with Sonic in Brawl.  Top Spin is great, and I absolutely love the Air Shooter.  Hard Knuckle is fun to use but doesn't have as much knockback as I'd have expected.  I like that there actually is a noticeable difference as to how much you "charge" the charged shot; I wasn't expecting that as a Normal-Smash attack, but that thing gets pretty damn huge.

"Your pants are on fire."

In a couple hours, Lou and I are meeting for dinner before I work. So we'll see how we far against one another in regular smash combat.

When is this game coming out in the US? I'm really excited for it. I haven't really been excited for a Smash Bros. game before.

3DS is out on Oct 3rd, Wii U hasn't been confirmed but rumors say November 21st even though Nintendo still says holiday so I'm leaning on the latter.

I kind of want to get a Wii U. I guess I'm weird in that I have no desire to buy a PS4 or a Xbox One, but I want a Wii U. I guess my mentality is that most of the games that come out for PS4 or Xbox, I can pick up on PC. The Wii U is the only next gen system with any interesting exclusives on it. It's the only place to get Mario, Smash Bros, and Zelda. And I really like the things I've heard about the next Zelda game.

I still want to wait on getting a Wii U since I have so many 3DS games to look forward to, I will get one someday but I want New 3DS first so I can give my older brother my old 3DS.

My PC would not be able to handle most PS4 games, so I'm getting a PS4, regardless. Plus, Uncharted 4 is a Sony-exclusive, which is further incentive to buy the console.

Well if you do, you can join us in a bout of Smash Bros or Mario Kart!  8D

So, played Lou in Smash. WHOOPED HIS ASS WITH SOME MEGA MAN JUSTICE! (Okay, it was pretty fairly even. Don't tell him I told you! XD)

My fear that the 3DS version would be a double-edged sword was confirmed.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

It's squarely in the "I am awesome" season too. Cause it's my birthday.

Nintendo must love me to release two awesome games on my birthday. Well three, cause ORAS is technically 2 games.

I always preferred Samus to Tharja anyway.

Actually, I never really liked Tharja in Awakening. Go figure.
