Well, Open Your Heart is the main game/Super Sonic theme.  It Doesn't Matter is Sonic's character theme in SA1 (different music, same lyrics/title in SA2).

Like I said, I think SA1's works as an instrumental (thankfully it's used that way in-game).  I don't care for it with vocals (during Sonic's credits).
