It's not too hard. If you use repels and get the right level pokemon to lead, you can just go to the trophy garden and get practically nothing but Pikachu. Doesn't take too long.

Hmm, the last I tried that was back in Emerald catching Pikachus in the Safari Zone.

It's also possible to get a Light Ball with a Surfing Pikachu in Pokemon Battle Revolution. That's how I got mine.

Yep, the special Pikachu-coloured Pichu will be made downloadable at Gamestop stores across America from January 30th to February 14th.
Just bring your Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and DS to Gamestop, and download your Pichu!
This Pichu, when traded over to Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver, will activated the event at the Ilex Shrine in Ilex Forest, letting you encounter, and catch the special Spiky-Eared Pichu.

Those of you that have the Japanese HGSS game, there's another WiFi event, this time, for the PokeWalker Course Champ Path.
This event will run from January 13th to January 27th.
This course allows the player to catch 6 kinds of Pokemon, and each of these Pokemon learns a unique move that is usually not available to it.

Beldum: Take Down, Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Iron Defense (Lvl5, Shuca Berry, rare)
Munchlax: Metronome, Tackle, Defense Curl, Selfdestruct (Lvl5, M, Leftovers, rare)
Horsea: Bubble, Smokescreen, Muddy Water (Lvl5, M, Dragon Scale, common)
Duskull: Leer, Night Shade, Imprison (Lvl5, M, Reaper Cloth, common)
Magikarp: Splash, Bounce (Lvl5, M, Wacan Berry, common)
Bronzor: Tackle, Confusion, Trick Room (Lvl5, Occa Berry, common)

Actually, all of those are Egg/Tutor/TM moves in HG/SS with one exception: Munchlax's Selfdestruct. And even that's only restoring a hiccup of the generational cutoff. Snorlax had Selfdestruct as a TM all through the first two generations. Gale of Darkness made it available as a tutor move in the 3rd Gen, so this is just the first chance for a non-Pal-Parked 'lax to get it.

This actually seems like a good Pokemon game I will pick up and actually KEEP. I am loving this, if I have money after Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, Sakura Wars, Red steel 2, and various other games.

Considering they skipped over this generation during the GBA era. And giving us a remake we really didn't need or want. (Pokemon Emerald.)

Once it comes out here, they'll have the english version of the ROM. And it's MINE.
