I have a hard time believing that SEGA can put enough data onto a disc to warrant a physical copy of the game. That being said, [tornado fang] yeah Virtual On!

I'm a Blue Jackets fan, so I'm thoroughly enjoying the drama of the Canadiens being shut-out 2 games in a row. That sucks for the team that brought down the No. 1 seed and the reigning champions...

Montreal didn't even show up against the Flyers; that was pretty lackluster. Philly's gonna capitalize on that like a mother[watermelon] on Tuesday.

They didn't win that first game, but they certainly were trying. Niemi was apparently in godmode for the last 40 minutes.

I liked 7, though the changes to the buster were awkward and the sounds kind of irked me. I loved 8, though. Strangely enough, however, I found MM&B to be the least fun out of all of the original series since I couldn't for the life of me position a jump right.
Ever.

I know it might be going out on a limb to assume anyone else besides me on this board is following the NHL playoffs this year, but I'm looking for more talk than /sp/ can provide. So far, I like the Canadiens and the Sharks for the actual finals; though the Flyers' 4 game comeback was so awesome, it's hard to root against them.

[tornado fang] yeah I drink coffee. It's more like I enjoy a bit of coffee with my creamer, though. I had this candy cane flavor around Christmas; [parasitic bomb] was SO cash.

I don't really care for MMOs, but if it was a free game that I could fool around in and have fun, with the option to pay for things, I'd probably screw around for a good time. MMO's are fun, but I hate being tied to a constant charge; it's something that I just can't afford. (Lord knows how much money Blizzard can suck out of its fans with the expansion packs and stuff.)

I don't think they expect it to break ground, but rather to rekindle interest in a certain aspect of Megerman? X hasn't gotten a lot of love lately, and I would die if it turned out to be a .EXE style of MMO; as that makes the most sense. This is CAPCOM, though. Our guess is as good as theirs.

Now that I'm the only decent show left on Nickelodeon, I can take over the world!...or...maybe just pick my nose.
Yeah.
I think I'll do that.

Is this going to be translated at some point, or are us non-japanese speakers just going to hear about the questions second hand?

Playing some Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. Also, across the isle, I'm starting FFVII for the first time. So far it's a pretty decent game, even 10 years after its release.

It can be said with absolute certainty that shooting pew pew lasers and making things go bewm never gets old. CAPCOM is good at making the Megaman games; regardless of any other aspects; excellent fun with the shooting and the asploding. (I never had full Grenademan Weapon ammo at the end of a level.  owob)

I'd be content with the current approach to MM Classic for the rest of the series. However, I'd enjoy consuming it more if it tried to do thing just a bit different. I honestly don't know what, but that's my two-cents. (Adjusted for inflation...about $3)

If the games are good, what's the problem with what boils down to an art decision?

I guess I understand if people want Mega Man to move on like, say, Resident Evil did. But that doesn't mean we must have 3D gameplay in HD graphics and nothing else. Why not have a Metroid Prime-like side series AND the 8-bit goodness we all love?

I'm not saying that it just boils down to an art decision. Far from it. I want more depth to the games. Look at that one Megaman 3 remake, with the 3D aspect!

Don't get me wrong, I love it. It'll give me a reason to dig my Wii out again. However, I can't help feeling that CAPCOM will never get out of this "Retro is all they want" phase. I loved Megaman 9; it was a great idea and wonderfully executed...but stuff like that loses it's value when it's done so often. I'm not complaining about the time frame though, as I recall they released a new Megaman game every year (at least) before and no one cared that much.

Nuclear Man

Somehow I think we're never going to get a RM like that.
That being said, AtomMan kinda rolls of the tongue better.

As for MM10 being announced...good GOD. What have we done?

These movies are absolutely terrible. Its just a movie to showcase what sort of ridiculous ways they can come up with to kill people with the least coherent plots possible.

You act like modern horror movies are anything but that. I really agree that the whole series is nothing but a foreshadow soaked "Faces of Death" parody, but I cannot say that once every blue moon they are not a blast to watch.

(did the site crash...again? how many nukings did I miss?)

Censorship in general is a laughable thing. Remember kiddies: "You can always turn the dial"

Also, songs don't always have to be profane or about sex, drugs, or violence. I love "Cheeseburger in Paradise", and it's a song about a cheeseburger. Then again, I hate a lot of this generations music with a passion, so I might be a bit bias.
