Title: The Ultimate Nintendo 64 Anthology Kickstarter FUNDED!
Post by: Sakura Leic on April 20, 2016, 09:33:41 PM
So to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the N64 in September 2016 some guys have decided to make an entire anthology of all things 64 and have thus made a kickstarter for the book.  The kickstarter is very well on the way on to their goal, about 2/3's there with the Euro conversion, and with 23 days left but a little extra help and awareness that this is a thing doesn't hurt.  And if you guys have the money if you give at least $91 or 80 Euros you can get 1 of the 500 art books they have detailing the box art of at least 750 N64 games, otherwise the standard editon will set you back by $45 or 40 Euros and the Collector's Edition will be $57 or 50 Euros.  The only difference between the editions are the Collectors editon comes with an extra chapter detailing Advertising of the N64 around the world and a slip cover.

Unfortunately all the exclusive custom Zelda 64 consoles are gone if anyone was crazy enough to give 500 Euros or $569 here.

Now if you'll excuse me I need to deal with that fact that I feel old again.

This reminds me of the "History of the Sega Genesis" book that I've got. If I had the means (and money) to contribute to this I definitely would, even though I never owned an N64 as a kid. I've always loved reading stuff like this.

Nintendo C&D in 3... 2... 1...

Considering they got interviews with Rare and Titus plus a few other I think this has less of a chance to get a C&D, not to mention there are plenty of video game books like this out there, my bro  got a comprehensive one of the Console Wars of Nintendo and Sega a while back, with more focus on Sega.

However those usually don't have pictures like this does, especially with that Art Book but I don't think this would get a C&D since this is like one huge ass reasearch project.  Then again it could be wishful thinking on my part.

Guess we'll find out soon. It should have no problem making it's goal.
