Pixar is not the point. Pixar is only doing the animation. I was talking about the story, and that's Disney's part in all this. It simply makes me mad that so many of those great old movies from the 90s and earlier got so many shitty sequels in the last few years instead of leaving them be.

Actually, Pixar pretty much handles the story as well too. You can tell, because Pixar's storytelling is second to none for animated movie. Hell, for movies in general. Disney just owns the characters and distributes the movie with their magical Disney money. Also, keep in mind that unlike the majority of crappy 90's Disney sequels, this is not a Direct to DVD release. All those sequels of Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Lion King, etc., were never released in the theaters, due to...well their lack of quality. However, this is Pixar. They make NOTHING but quality, excellent, timeless movies, like UP which I saw last night, which is a contender for best movie of the year.
I saw this trailer last night in Disney Digital 3-D. The theater pretty much erupted in applause when it was shown. I do know a little of what it's about too, but not much.

Also, it's funny that PB mentioned Disney's direct to DVD releases in this thread when you consider the fact that Toy Story 2 was actually meant to be like that. Pixar had to step in and say [tornado fang] that, all while banging out something impressive in order for Toy Story 2 as we know it to be born.
Another thing people should keep in mind is that Pixar has a policy where they will not make a sequel unless they have a good direction to take and can do so well. They aren't cash grabs like Disney.

[spoiler]The first time you see them, is when they are in an orphanage, and the plot apparently is about saving Buzz Lightyear from a recall. From what I recall, a spoiled runt, a crazed toy from Woody's own series, now VS Recall, but this challenge makes the other two look nothing compared to this.[/spoiler]

I have tons of faith in Pixar of all people to not screw up Toy Story. I just wanna hear more about the premise. It sounds great so far.

Frankly, I don't really like the whole "spanish Buzz" thing, it seems kinda "gimmicky", in my opinion. I just hope it doesn't last too long in the movie, or that the joke doesn't get overused..

I think it will probably be like the deal with the second buzz in 2. "spanish Buzz" will probably be around for a while, them maybe he'll get his senses knocked back into him. I mean, he's based on a very western kind of spaceman- theres really no reason for him to be spanish. unless they accidentally changed his region settings. XD
