You know, that Axl sprite is kinda lazy. It's a recolored X3 Zero with details like hair and pistol changed.

Besides, we can easily point our fingers at Zan and Oakes too, they helped in both Rockman and Forte DS and Rockman Dash DS, or maybe all of them are guilty =P

I think X9 was too logically straightforward. Even if it had been a crazy concept it would have been amazing. I really enjoyed previous years hoaxes, both inside and outside RPM (God, that VAVA in RMZ4 event cutscene really got me back in the day, mainly because it was really close to the release date)There was no Zero complete works?

Inafune really has nothing much to do with X5. He might have had a general idea of where the story was to go, but that's that. X5 was solely the responsibility of the team that also did Xtreme, Xtreme2 and X6. Why are you giving Inafune so much credit? He's just the guy that did some of the designs and drew some of the art. That he became the father of Rockman is just because he stuck around from R1 to now. Even in the X-series he didn't have complete creative control until X4 and only X4.
