I have the Skyward Sword wiimote, but I'm still saving up for the nunchuk.
Doubt I'll get the classic controller as long as I'm living with my family because FIRST PERSON SHOOTERS LEAD TO ME GOING TO SHOPPING MALLS AND KILLING EVERYONE IN SIGHT

I just got the above link in an e-mail from Elik Alvarez, one of the composers for dubs of YGO/GX/5D's/Zexal series.
They uploaded a bunch of their tracks, from different series, previously unreleased here on soundcloud.

I seriously didn't expect this.
I love those two guys (Elik Alvarez and Freddy Sheinfeld).

Go have a listen, their music is great. I'm going to listen to this just now actually, but first I wanted to share this.

broke a toe on the bathroom door yesterday and hit my knee against the corner of a bus seat today. Great forces must be conspiring to kill me before I can reach March Break next week.

Why are kids shows obsessed with being disgusting?

A general assumption that children are disgusting on the part of TV executives?

Why are kids shows obsessed with being disgusting?

Because Gross-out humor is oh so funni.

The only good gross out humor is in Ren and Stimpy, and plenty of old Nicktoons.

What's more prevalent nowadays is shows that amount to little more than NOISE NOISE NOISE. See "Fanboy and Chum Chum", "Annoying Orange", or a vast majority of Modern Nicktoons for examples.

Hell the only thing Nicktoons (The Channel) is any good for anymore is Reruns of good shows, [parasitic bomb], if I ever have kids (HA!) I'm making them grow up with what I grew up with, the mid-late 90's and early 2000's of TV. That means old Nicktoons, Cartoon Cartoons, DCAU, Power Rangers, and lots of Boomerang.

Because no kid should have to watch a show that eliminates the need for an attention span, that's just wrong.

Too bad Nickelodeon seemed to mysteriously disappear on my normal TV.

Also I didn't like Ren and Stimpy.

Opinions.

Well, the first season of R&S, the later seasons can go [tornado fang] off.

And honestly, I don't know of any females that liked R&S, my mom hated the show so much she didn't like me watching it.

Hey Arnold! had almost no disgusting moments, and it's far more witty and intelligent than any Nick show I've seen, with the exception of the Avatar-verse. In fact, I enjoyed it more now than when I watched it as a kid (references and innuendos. Boy, there were a ton of adult innuendos).

I never did like shows that had gross humor.

SatAM Sonic. My fondness for it is largely fueled by nostalgia but still pretty good considering the shows that preceded were not that good in terms of writing and animation (Captain N, the various Super Mario Bros. shows.)

Then again, we also got the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog that was so bizarre, it bordered on the surreal.

Avatar left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. It portrayed us pyros in a negative light. At first. :P

Every main character had significant character development in Avatar. Some more than others, but all the same ultimately.

Netflix is lovely.

I can watch almost all of the 90's.

Time Warner stuff is still missing though, but we're getting it this month.

That's on DVD though.

It has been for a while.

Though I'm poor, so I'm rediscovering it through the magic of "[tornado fang] the police I've got it on my hard drive"

Yeah, but people are talking about some of the better shows of the 90s in general, not just stuff that needs DVDs.

So yeah, shame. SHAME.

I dunno, I'm tired.

Oh I own all the DiniVerse DCAU shows on DVD's. Batman: TAS is probably the best.
