Only gameplay difference we know so far is that her Side B has downwards knockback, whereas Peach's has upwards. The way Final Smashes are going in this game, I feel Peach's will change. Whether or not Daisy copies that, we'll see. And just purely spitballing here, I don't think Daisy will be able to float, but have like a speed buff to make up for it.

News and Announcements / Re: Mega Man 11 OFFICIAL TRAILER Announcement

I really dig what Mega Man 11 looks like. Can't wait for next year. Also super excited about the X series rerelease. Hope that means an X9 in the future.

Became champion yesterday. I felt my team was levelling up really fast, not including the bonus exp four of the them were getting from trades. When I got to the Elite Four all my team was in the 70s. I didn't use a lot of Roto Exp until the end, but I did fight everyone I could. I was levelling up so quick the traded ones started to disobey me. That really burned me on the Totem Kommo-o.

Completed my Pokedex today. Caught both Stakataka, traded one for Blacephalon, and got an extra Poipole in a trade. Not going to do Ultra Wormhole stuff. Just going to get another Nebby and beat Rainbow Rocket and call it a day. I thought the game was fine, just not different enough from SM. And the one big change they made, I didn't like.
No possessed Lusamine fight in favor of Ultra Necrozma. Wasn't a fan of it.
So I didn't realize the Excadrill I'm using has its hidden ability Mold Breaker. Until I fought the Totem Mimikyu. Feels good to just bypass Disguise altogether with a Z Move.

My team is okay, just flawed in that there's no special attacker and they have some common weaknesses.

7
For some reason, Pokemon Bank won't be updated for UltraSM until later in the month.

I guess by later, they meant just a couple days. Both Bank and Transporter have been updated.

For some reason, Pokemon Bank won't be updated for UltraSM until later in the month. You can still trade with regular SM though, which means my team is intact. I brought over a Mimikyu, a Jangmo-o, a Dewpider, and a Drillbur. My starter this time is Litten, and I'm using the special Rockruff.

Watched someone play 13 or so stages. The game doesn't seem to be a dumpster fire like 06 or Rise of Lyric. It looks playable, with the usual amount of Sonic jank. But it all just looks dull. The stage design and level art are bland, a far cry from the colorful spectacles from the games its trying to copy. And Classic Sonic has absolutely no reason to be there. He has way fewer stages than Sonic or the Avatar, and has no importance to the story, even though its tied directly to Mania.

I watched all the cutscenes too. They take said story way too seriously. Almost no levity at all. Again, what happened to the comedic writing from Colors and Lost World? And Infinite is incredibly boring and by the book. I wish there was a reveal he was a bad ending Tails, cause that would be somewhat interesting.

The game looks average at best. Which for people like Chris will be good enough. You'll [tornado fang]ing love it. For others, this is just another step backwards in quality for Sonic.

I hope that they are more easily available in Ultra.

Only thing I can complain about Mania are some of the bosses. Some were a bit too cinematic and grandiose. That also led to at least one of them (Stardust Speedway's boss. Gee I wonder who that could be?) being pretty janky.

Getting gold medals on all the bonus stages is the last trophy I have to get, and it's pretty challenging. I have to look up solutions for some.

I'm on the spectrum as well. And although I'm not necessarily offended by this hot buzz word insult (I still call things gay and retarded), I wouldn't call something or someone I didn't like autistic. It's just shock value for the sake of. It's too easy. It's too memey.

I'm excited for Forces not because of the third character. I'm excited for the same reason I was when it was first announced: it's Generations 2. The third style is something I'll likely be fine with, hell maybe even enjoy a lot. But at the core, it's still Sonic.

Nintendo's new announcements have convinced me to get a Switch down the line. New Yoshi in the vein of Woolly World, new Kirby, Metroid Prime 4. There's a new Pokemon RPG being made too, but that could mean something more like Colosseum. It can't be Stars now that we have Ultra Sun/Moon. Oh, and Mario Odyssey was always a must get. Dem hats.

And on 3DS there's an official Metroid 2 remake. I'm stoked.

So there is a demo out now showing some story and a handful of fights. You do get to play as X. He seems interesting, definitely not a clone of Mega Man from the old MvCs. His charge shot is a fireball motion, and he has followups for it, offensive and defensive. All his specials are projectiles: Boomerang Cutter, Sonic Slicer, Frost Shield, and Rising Fire. When he has his armor, his charge shot super can become the X2 double charge shot. And he uses Ultimate Armor in his level 3.

Zero will also be playable down the line. So I'm super dead wrong on my prediction. 3 Mega Man characters, all from the X series. Would've liked some variety there, but assuming the leaked roster holds up, disappointment is the name of the game. Although to be honest, I don't mind the gameplay.

At the very least a Switch release for the first collection should be done. All of them are NES games and yet they're not on Nintendo's current console.

In order to have the SNES Rockman and Forte, they'd have to localize it. The team making this is not a localization team. It's not as easy as just transplanting the GBA script in.

It would be nice if they had both versions of Mega Man 8. As nice as the extras are on Saturn, Wood Man is a time waster in speedruns.

I didn't notice the music was any different. And I didn't think the typos were that common. I played for Safe Ending first and don't remember seeing any at all.

and now you're telling me there are no gruesome murder descriptions? Those were by far one of my favorite moments that set this apart from VLR.

No they're still there. You just have to switch to Novel mode to see them. There are one or two spots where the game forces Novel mode on you, like when you see June for the first time. But it could've used some more, if only for those deaths.

Got the two main endings in 999. Definitely enjoying it. I had not played it since the DS, so it was fun to revisit. And I can see all the hints to the twists. I really like the dub. Everyone did a really good job, even Wendee Lee who phoned in her first trip as Clover. Junpei's actor, same as in ZTD, is a definite favorite, as is Ace who has Batou's voice from Ghost in the Shell.

I played through almost the entire game in Adv mode. Any direction given by Novel mode I could discern from the dialogue. The only thing you really miss is the description of corpses. Those were fantastically gruesome and worth checking out.

However, the [tornado fang]'d up the final puzzle.
I'm actually fine with getting rid of the sudoku. It's pretty dated at this point. And without two screens to flip upside down it wouldn't have worked anyway. But its replacement is just garbage. There is a puzzle there that could be interesting, but if you do the spelling game tacked on to it, it gives you the answer with no effort. It's insultingly easy. But then they put an extra little bit at the end.
I thought it was a bit obtuse.
Nice. I have a bunch of things I need to breed in order to fill out my Living Pokedex, so this works out pretty well.

I was breeding Burmy last week in order to get all forms of Wormadam. I was getting so many males. I think my 12th or so hatch was finally a female. That's ridiculous on a 50/50 Pokemon like that. I think I bred a female Salandit faster than that.

Did they ever say it was going to be 2D? I honestly don't remember anymore.

I don't particularly remember despising Colors' red rings, though I did look up a fair amount of them. I definitely had no problem with them in Generations. 75% of the time they were on the harder paths, so they were your reward for getting good.

Mirby's right about Advance 2 though. If you think red rings are bad, try having to collect all of them at once without dying.

I haven't played the game myself yet, but I've checked out some speedruns of it. It looks really cool. I especially love that nearly every stage has an alternate route.
