I was watching some episodes of Spectacular Spider-Man from the complete set.

Apparently, they had help from a Korean Animation studio, much like Avatar/Korra. I guess Korea is the cheaper way to go or something? I fail to see why the American studios couldn't handle all the work themselves.

Korea's been used as an animation sweatshop since forever dude.

Since 1985, at least. AKOM handled most of Transformers' third season. It was horrible.

Come and read some Thoughts of a Platypus

I'm going to need to start storyboarding any additional videos.  Pokemon options are limited, so the trainer needs to carry most of the story.

It's really unwatchable.

Korean animation is best when it doesn't involve something that require lots of movement.

Blargh, my comic boards don't fit on my scanner.  I think they'll fit on the Xerox, though, so I can print a copy and scan that.

Korra requires a shitload of movement, and the Korean-made episodes look absolutely fantastic. It just depends on the company.

Pierrot doesn't use lots of motion, and that's a Japanese company. So yeah, totally depends on the company.

Season 3 Galvatron was wildly entertaining to watch though, kinda felt sorry for Cyclonus; no idea why he remained so loyal after all the abuse he took.  XD

Pierrot is perhaps most famously known as the studio behind Yu Yu Hakusho.

It's a 90s anime, and as incredible as it was, it didn't have any particularly complex movements. I chalk it up to the fact that it's an old show, therefore animators were very limited with how much they could actually process, however, there's no excuse for their work with Korra. At least Hakusho had really intense, gruesome fighting scenes, despite restricted movement.

... On a side note, I keep thinking of "Parrot" whenever I see Pierrot. Those darn parrots and their crappy animation skills! 8D

Really? I'll always know them as the company that made Bleach and that other show about the fake ninjas.

You should get yourself a decent weight set.  I have a set of adjustable dumbbells that cost maybe $20.  Got them set to 20lbs each, so I'm starting to curl with more than 10-15lbs.  This way you can keep up the strength training at home.

Oh, and Ringman and I just tossed this around...

Would anyone be interested in a Trainer PR Video challenge?  Basically it would be to make the most creative video you can given the limitations.

I have some 5 pound weights which is enough to start with, but I'll wait until Wednesday since I did my legs today so I want to do my arms next.  Perhaps tomorrow I'll use the jump rope and hula hoop.

I'm going to try to make a murder mystery for my next video.  Bisharp has a great laugh animation and I think if I get creative with facial expressions, camera angles, and time it right, I may be able to have a murder mystery without having an actual body.

Most of these will be "Trainer encounters a Pokemon," but there's a lot you can do with that.

So, I was walking down to the store and a hawk came out of the woods and flew straight at me and I stood there gaping like an idiot.

At the same time, we both had the wise idea to move out of the way, so I sidestepped one way and the hawk veered off in another.

Wasn't expecting that.

Yeah it went through an update some months ago and a Like button was added recently.

The changes include being able to simply post a link to a YouTube video without having to add , just making sure the sinister S is not in the Http.

Double posting is gone but we can remove posts now

And the search function sucks balls.

I couldn't make the murder mystery I wanted and the video just ended up being about encountering a psycho Bisharp.  I did take the time to tighten my editing for The House, though.

You should complain. They're supposed to require their employees wear hairnets if they have hair that's too long that it doesn't all fit under their hat.
