I'd thought I'd try a diffrent approach. Marina's equipped with Go Getter Right, for a good reason too, while the boss is Cutman for this mockup.

I might give Marina a 2x1 animation for each of her moves, while Cutman obviously is based off his classic counterpart: Jump and Attack. it's what I do best, basically, Cutman will not be playable, but a boss. Marina however, will be playable. I am just testing this out, no need to panic.

Marina's equipped with Go Getter Right, because obviously, her moves often involve shaking, tossing, grabbing and punching. I'm also experimenting how MHX's 2d elements work well with SNES graphics too.

Both sprites are in the same style, really. just that the health bars stand out which makes it look like it.

It's the shading and the color choices. When I made them, they either had X or Zero for character/style references.

A new, modern sheet of Gaia, in it's WIP state. Unusable, just showing progress. Stuff in the box is what I'll style edit into the modern style sprites, basically.

I didin't like Khragoon's Iris so... I made my own. Belive me, I didin't like how some of Khragoon's sprites turned out, some were either sloppy or inaccurate. I only liked some that were actually close to the origional things... yep. his was used as one of the references to make mine, and there are heavy diffrences too. credit goes to him though.

Iris is one of my more sloppy ones I admit, I fixed up Dynamo some, a few others got more solid colors.  I can't show them off because, my computer has the project, but I use my uncles computer for internet.  

However, I am still open to C&C, I really need some feedback, I am working on it again.  No bashing on General, he was the hardest, yet funnest one to make.  

Plus, I always enjoy looking at other alternatives from others.  Good job at fixing the shine.

Oh, so you're Khragoon? I didin't notice that until now, I thought Iris was too big in the first place. You should make your own topic too (at least I think you don't have your own topic).

Update, keeping both just in case I messed up during the style editing process. I might correct anything I might make a mistake of. This is still a WIP.

I made one, it's on page 3 in the Fan Creations boards called, 'The Madness Revealed'.  That topic does lack in C&C.  Also, Layer and Palette did get more of a custom look, since you mentioned Iris, I am already almost done in customizing her better.  Zain and Geemel also received thier weapons.

If you could, drop a line in the topic with what you find iffy.  Plus, any possible favorites so I know not to change them.  I have the motivation in continueing my project, I just need some feed back, so I can get better ideas on recreating them. 

I am personally enjoying your Star Wars conversions, still no Darth Vader and Yoda.  I vote for an 8-bit Darth Maul though.

Pallete of a certain style, will or might grow eventually enough to be as big as another certain sprite style. I might write a tut for that style sooner or later.. I made the first batch by pallete ripping. second batch, are inverted.

Good luck trying to figure out how the style works for the time being~

The castle, and the first room you walk into. you'll find nothing but another door leading underground as my entire fortress is definately underground ranging around 900+ miles below the surface and widith, filled with nothing but traps of every kind, boss teleporter rooms where you fight holograms of robot masters and shootemup bosses, and the ever infamous rancor pit as a bossfight room in this gargantuan maze of a "castle". Mass bossfights, enemies, and obsticals would put fortress bases like a certain madman's to shame.

Credit to Mariowiki for the base sprite BG from Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. and sprites inc for tiny tidbits from megaman 2.

Mostly WIP canvas made in MS Paint that I won't likely finish, one comes in bits that way I'll edit the Storm Eagle canvas to his MHX appearance, with use of his SNES pallete. The one on the has what every. single. megaman. game. has. fortress explosion and some form of megaman watching the explosion.

A new idea just hit me. Sigma playin' a generic arcade game. Having him in this humerous situation due to the fact that Sigma's just plain obsessed defeating X, by that.. I mean litterally everything. even beating X's records in an ARCADE GAME to lower him enough to Axl's childish ranks. Having litterally THREE paint accessories just so I can have everything together is gonna be near damn impossible to complete in 3 seconds, more litterally, 5 hrs or advanced enough, maybe a few days too.

What's gonna be harder is finding Siggy's concept art due to the fact that in the X series of concept arts, mostly Command Mission concepts dominate that area.  

At least RPM has requested art, no? I managed to save them from it, and it's gonna get harder. It's gonna be a MS Paint canvas too~
