Okay I couldn't stand waiting to see what all the talk is all about, so I decided to go ahead and downloaded both X Y games from the eShop on to my 3DS. Don't ask why.
Starting with X version.
Playing a little over 30 minutes of this game this is my experience so far.
(As last Pokemon game I've ever actually finished was long ago.)- Not all scenes are in 3D. Certain ones like pokemon battles are in 3D.
- I hate coming up with a trainer name, let alone another nick name of myself. I usually take about 5-10 minutes just to decide for both type of names.
- I thought for some reason you are given two pokemon starters in this game instead of one. One from the new Kalos region, and another from the old Kanto region. Did I read wrong somewhere?
- Starting off with a Froakie.
- Caught a pidgey before the pokemon capture introduction
(bah, like someone of my intelligence would need this, cause I don't.)- Caught a scatterbug. I can't remember, is this the first form pokemon that eventually evolves into that #666 butterfly with the regional wing designs?
- Caught a green Pansage Lvl 4.
- Tried the mystery Gift. Says I got the Torchic, but I guess I have to venture forth a bit to the pokemon center to obtain it.
I am currently going to try to catch a Butterfree, err.... I mean a pokemon that eventually evolves into it. Also going to try to catch a Pikachu sometime whenever.
Also, having trouble viewing what my Amie
(food, love, music) stats are for pokemon. So yea, i'm still pretty new at this.
