Calling it now, Wing Zero and Musha Gundam are going to still be the best suits in the game.

Fixed.

If MMN doesn't have it, probably no one else does at the moment. I wouldn't mind being disabused though.

Just a guy who digs TYPE-MOON, Gundam and Rockman and who always wants to be the one to know better. Nothing else needed to know here. Carry along. This isn't the Saber you're looking for. *waves hand*

Well, that idea with adding a platform tag for games sounds like a good idea.

However, I wouldn't classify googling for a decent picture and general info etc as "small edits", especially not if it's on a grand scale :W

Well, what I specifically meant about adding tags to RPM was that if a topic is created within a certain sub-board, headlines like this

Running time/release date:
Episodes:
Genre:
Studio/Developer:

Short story summary found here

would pop up immediately. I wondered if it was possible to include something like that in the script of the specific board sections.

Excellent idea is excellent~ ^w^

Well, the question is, how to handle this if we're really going to do it? I've seen some boards which feature certains tags that pop up once you want make a new thread within a certain area of the board. Could something like that be implemented into RPM as well? It kind of would serve as a reminder that it would be appreciated if people would put more effort into their posts about this kind of stuff. The alternative would be that mods add the missing information afterwards, and I don't really think they'd like this additional work.

Still the magnificantly insane and brutal Saber Alter / Black Saber from Fate/stay night, as well as the same old sig.

I just talked to PB about this and he likes the idea, so I'll just share my thoughts about this.

Now that RPM is in the middle of starting over, I think it would be a good idea to go a bit more into detail regarding video games, movies and TV series and anime. What I mean is that people don't just create a thread about one of these with just some random comment like "It's awesome. Somebody else watchin' this?" but instead add more information regarding the medium they are talking about. I've done this with the Gundam 00 and Kara no Kyoukai thread so far. As you can see, I added a picture, some statistic info and some general plot outlines.

I'm neither saying we should turn the forum into a database nor forcing anyone to do it my way, but I just think it would be nice to keep this all just a tad more organized now that we have the chance to do it. We then also could make pinned index threads so one could check right away if the game, series or movie already has a thread.

As I said, I was merely thinking. Anyone wanna share their opinion on this?

Actually, I'm curious if you ever had a chance to play those games.  OMNI Vs. ZAFT 2 PLUS is one of my favorite games of all time.

You may remember we once talked about this. I actually want to, but this whole stuff regarding modifying the PS2 kind of seems too difficult to handle, or I'm just being plain lazy. Not too long ago, I downloaded the ISO of the PSP port of the first OMNI VS ZAFT, but for some reason, that one didn't work which made me rage quite a lot.

First Season Plot

It is the year A.D. 2307. Fossil fuels on Earth have been depleted entirely, with mankind turning to the next available power source: solar energy. During this time, 3 orbital elevators with solar power generation systems are built, each under control by the World Economy Union, the Human Reform League and the Advanced European Union. However, not all countries are able to enjoy the benefits of this system, leading to widespread resentment and war. Arising out of the conflict, a mysterious non-profit military organization known as Celestial Being appears, dedicated to end all warfare using Mobile Suits called Gundams. This begins the stories of Gundam Meisters Setsuna F Seiei, Lockon Stratos, Allelujah Haptism and Tiera Erde as they are thrown into conflict between the 3 superpowers and the other various factions.

Second Season Plot

4 years since the final battle between Celestial Being and the UN Forces. Humanity, having established the Earth Sphere Federation, forms an independent security preservation force, A-LAWS, separate from the formal Federation army to further unify nations and the will of mankind. But the reality was the inhumane oppression of anti-government powers, doctrines and ideologies in the name of unity.

Saji Crossroad, who followed the path to becoming a space engineer to keep a promise to Louise Halevy and fulfill a dream, is also compelled to become involved in Federation government reform.

Meanwhile, Setsuna F. Seiei, surviving the final battle 4 years ago, saw the future of the world that had been changed by Celestial Being. With the defeat of guardian Alejandro Corner, he dreamed of a peaceful world without conflict. But before his own eyes was the reality of the continuing strain on peace, the oppression caused by A-LAWS. He decides once more to fight with Gundam, the power with the potential to change the world.

Where will Setsuna's and Saji's paths take them as the world is set into motion once more?

Reviving this topic as well before Lelouch does =P

Episode 6 of 2nd Season tomorrow and I absolutely can't wait.

I doubt it.  The only Vs. Gundam game I know that actually did this was Gundam Vs. Zeta Gundam.

Well, I kind of have faith on this one. They've gotten the Musou games here, and now that there's also 00 coming on American TV after only Canada bothered to show SEED DESTINY, they might just do it.

I think play-asia sells this game and I hope I can play this as well.

No no, I meant if the game is supposed to be localized and released in Northern America/Europe.

Do want it and will try to get it any way possible.

But there's no mention of any intentions of bringing this game to gamers outside of Japan, is there? So I guess moon runes no matter what.

When an odd string of suicides begins to occur at a local high rise building, most of the townsfolk treat it as an unfortunate series of events. One girl, however, senses something more sinister at work - especially when a close friend of hers falls mysteriously ill. After witnessing one of the deaths for herself, Shiki begins to realize that a strange connection exists between each of the girls, and predicts a total of eight will die. With seven dead and the accuracy of her prediction unclear, she sets out to put an end to the killings. Yet, as she nears the truth, she finds herself closer and closer to the brink of death; will Shiki become the town's savior, or the next victim?

Probably should have made a thread about this on the old board, but whatever.

Since last year, the earlierst work of TYPE-MOON head author Nasu Kinoko is being turned into a seven part anime movie series. And it's one hell of a series. Having not read the two volumes of the original work, I can't really comment on how faithful the adaption is like with Tsukihime and Fate/stay night, but to me, KnK pretty much is the production of the year so far. These three movies that have been released on DVD so far and have been fansubbed (part four is scheduled for DVD release in December, part five in January) have been quite mindblowing for me. The animation is the best I have ever seen, the atmosphere is quite tense and the music is nothing short but awesome.

Freshmen to TYPE-MOON works probably may have some problems with Kara no Kyoukai, not only because they might not get the references or connections to the other works of Nasu but also because the movies, like the books, are not in chronological order, kinda like the TV broadcast of Suzumiya Haruhi. The actual chronological order is 2-4-3-1-5-6-7.

So, who's also watching this? What are your thoughts and impressions?

Once again fooling around in Dynasty Warriors: Gundam/Gundam Musou while eagerly awaiting the release of part 2 next year. Also picked up Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2 while waiting for the third game coming out this month.

I'm glad the board's back online, but I don't really approve of the fresh start. It sucks to see that all the time spending on the board literally went to waste. I pray to Anonymous that DZ can recover the old board entirely...

I'm still kind of forcing myself through Zeta Gundam at the moment. While the series had a very cool start, it has been somewhat declining since they went down to Earth and only recovers little by little from it upon returning back to space. One of the main reasons why I'm still watching it is Jerid Messa. I just like this guy.

I'm not sure yet if I should really continue with ZZ after Zeta as I heard it's not that good. Maybe I'll just skip it and go directly for Char's Counterattack.
